Appearance-wise, she was like a delicate bird that could snap in two if you held her too tightly. But those who knew her well enough knew the cruel cold heartless bitch that lay underneath the mask of tranquil kindness. No one knew what made her transform into the devil, but they knew enough to fear her. However, she was alluring and addicting to be around. She knew how to bring out the dark cravings and drives that you never knew you had in you. Life with her was like a psychedelic drug trip. The world spun by you and you never had the chance to catch your breath. Your sensations and emotions were heightened and being with her made you feel more alive than ever. However, she knew how to break humans and nothing would stop her from hurting you.
BACKGROUND

While her mother was out and about sleeping around and consuming drugs, Hana was busy using her tragic background to manipulate others into falling in love with her sweet and innocent facade.

A top-student and loved by the entire school board, she was given a full-ride admittance to a prestigious private academy for the wealthy and the prodigies. Backed by the testimonies of the people she had tricked, she lived on with the reputation of a kind driven student who had simply been born into poorer circumstances.
But she was a cold manipulative bitch at heart and no one could change that about her. She got what she wanted and no one could take it away from her. Unlike the other children at the academy who had their fortune spoon-fed to them, she had to fight for hers.
Life was a battle and she couldn't stop even if she wanted to.

Kind and easy going, yet too lazy to make an effort to climb the ladder of social hierarchy, he was a wallflower in the school full of talented and extravagant children. He was pure and gentle unlike the other students at the school who were out for blood and battling to keep up their reputation and children of prominent families. However, his tranquil demeanor made him become the target of students who wanted to see him dragged down into darker places with them.
BACKGROUND
As the third son of the wealthy Hirano family, he was basically a useless freeloader in the family. Him being the son of a mistress also didn't help him much in terms of gaining power and favor in his household. Unlike his half-brothers who at least had property and a company position under their name, the only chance he had in surviving the perilous world of wealth was to marry well.
He was an average guy in general. Ranking 15th in the academy in terms of academics, a member of the astronomy club, terrible athlete. However, his easy-going attitude stuck out like a sore thumb in the school that emphasized prestige and fierce competitiveness over everything else. All he wanted was to graduate peacefully and go to a university abroad away from the pressures he had to deal with in his household.
He hated facing problems head-on. Running away and keeping out of sight was a solution to every challenge in his life. However, his method of living life quickly backfired as he ran into a dead end that he couldn't escape when he met the manipulative student, Hana, who sucked him into her gritty world full of darkness and terrible secrets.

PERSONALITY
He isn't complicated. At least, not to those that don't know him. Growing closer to Hiro Yamazaki is to answer one question and be greeted by eight more. Not pretty questions, like his favourite colour or meal. No. His peculiarities never quite seem to match up. Every minute with him brings on a new surprise... pleasant or otherwise.
In general, Hiro is laid-back. Even the worst behaviour in his classroom couldn't make him raise his voice or curse. He's quiet and thinks before doing even the smallest tasks. When alone, his persona becomes far more clear. Each witty remark is glazed with sarcasm, and what may have seemed like a kind remark was truly a back-handed compliment meant to sink into its target and torment them with is-it, isn't-it questions. He can hand you a truth, twisted into a tight little knot, then will laugh in your face as you try to find where the deception ends and where it begins. Yet somehow, he manages to play the victim. Each carefully-chosen word and gentle tone seems far more appealing than his opponent, spewing spit and shouting more in confusion than anger. He indulges in seeing such reactions, but he doesn't love winning unless there was something of a challenge. It's more satisfying to crush someone who knows exactly what's going on.

His life revolves around teaching. It was his dream; to inspire others. But somewhere along the line, he grew to nearly hate children and all the traits they possessed. At this point he was too in-depth with his career, so he did the only thing he could reason at the time.
Students in secondary-education weren't difficult. In fact, he bonded with some of his pupils. They were mature and gave him enough respect—knowing that he could ruin their chances of a prestigious university with the flick of a pen. So he settled on teaching upper grades, where he discovered a source of joy that he never quite expected to come across.

Though quite emotional at times, she is abnormally abrasive. She constantly avoids looking as if she adores someone... even if that really is the case. If a situation becomes "sappy," she's the first one to change the subject and make it clear she was "just joking."
Her humour is sharp, and her insults sharper. While in public she may be polite, but her name-calling is unfiltered around her friends. "Kusokurae" 1 is (only) used on people she considers close friends—affectionately, of course.
