My Character: An outcast warrior from a secret Order of powerful elementals known as Hunters. Due to a predestined chain of events, he is set on the path to become the Protector, a Hunter with the blessings of the Gods themselves and the power to protect their creations from evil and destruction. Because of his blessing, he was transformed into a Demi-God. Thus he is immortal (only Godly magic can kill him), possesses incredible magical might, and elemental generation/manipulation of fire, water, earth, air, lightning, as well as hyper regeneration, portal creation, spell casting. He was tasked with stopping the revival of the Demon God, Ithreal, and failing that he was able to subdue the God and reinforce his bindings. For centuries my character has wondered through the worlds of the universe, doing his duty even as he became disillusioned. Now in the present day the ancient war he sacrificed so much for has become nothing but a forgotten myth, the Protector merely a legend. The Gods no longer answer his call, and his powers have become dormant from not using them for years. He now lives life as a CEO of a powerful tech company, seemingly normal by all means.
Your Character: A charismatic young person. Fierce and ready to take on the world. Born from a mortal family with absolutely no knowledge of the magical world. Upon the moment of your birth, a unique cosmic event took place. One that had never before happened and will never happen again. Born at the right time and in the right place, you are blessed with magical potential beyond comprehension and a destiny beyond wonder. You are the incarnation of Light itself, born into a mortal form.
Our paths will cross by happenstance, but the result will be an adventure neither wanted. His powers reawakened, the Protector will have to train the Light on how to use her/him powers, instruct her/him about the magical worlds and the dangers therein. And then together they will have to work together to fight a force even more powerful than the Gods themselves. For with the Incarnation of the Light, Darkness has awakened from it's eternal slumber. Now creatures never before seen across the worlds are appearing, their only goals are destruction and returning the universe to darkness and silence.
This story will involve many conflicts, great loses, and incredible character developments. Worlds will be lost, A few Gods may be killed, and the end may be unavoidable. But the only way will be together. If creation is to survive, we must triumph.
