Three Thousand Club
Elves were graceful creatures of high status.
They were respected by all, including dragons themselves, for their might and magic were great beyond all else. They lived deep in forests, hidden in trees, cities great and beautiful like themselves.
They were tall, and their skin fair, their hair like silk. Their ears were pointed and their eyes pure like the clear streams that ran below their houses in the trees. Their feet were quick and light and their hands nimble. Their voices light and soft yet firm. They forged weapons and other objects, like lanterns and lockets and armour, and in their hands they carried light. But they left, and nobody knows to where they went.
Now, the only evidence left by the Elves would be relics; their ancient cities in the trees, the tools and weapons crafted by them, the books written by their hands.
