  "The kids have been struck. Now we wait. They'll discover their powers soon enough... Their symptoms should appear within the week. They'll be tired. Their bodies are undergoing.... Changes."
  
  
  "Poor girl. Kili was her name. Now she's gone. I wonder what the others will do."
  
  
  "A blonde woman killed Kili, but she also drew away government agents to save Elysia and Jenna. What are her motives? Who's side is she on? Why'd she kill one of them and save the other two?"
  
  
  "Damnit, damnit, DAMNIT!!! The agents got to the kids, I don't know if they're fine or not. I went back to check the hospital later, but they were gone."

  Static Shock Arc
  
  Elysia, Jenna and Kili. These three teenagers have been friends since the start of this school year, and one night driving home in Kili's car from a party, their lives changed forever. The car was struck by lightning and damaged badly. The three of them were taken to a hospital and were told they were lucky to have survived, especially with little to no injuries. Over the next few days, the three of them noticed something strange. Electronics were shorting out, getting drained, or outright frying around them. Elysia touched a lightpole and the electrical discharge from her caused an EMP that disabled several neighborhoods around her. The three friends met up at Jenna's house and were finally able to discuss their powers. Then they decided to go to the nearby park.

  Rules
  
  
  • Please try to keep posts around three paragraphs or longer in length. That said, the hard minimum is one paragraph (3 sentences).
  
  
  • No powerplay. You character cannot exceed their limits with their powers (And if they do it'll likely kill them).
  
  
  • Also, if two characters get in a fight, do not auto-hit. It's annoying and rude, and will probably be ignored.
  
  
  • At first, you character's powers will be uncontrollable, unpredictable, and when you try to control them, weak. That said, a major part of this roleplay will be the growth and development, as well as discovery of new parts of your electrical powers. Please do not powerplay this, make your powers grow too fast, ect.
  
  
  • Also because of this development of characters, we will be editing our character sheets throughout the roleplays.
  
  
  • If you read all the rules, put a line of the song "Electric Feel" by MGMT somewhere in your character sheet.
  
  
  •This roleplay is closed to random people joining it. However, if you feel you really want to join it, please ask about it in the OOC section (Me and Dreambeat are partners in this rolepla and both have a pretty good sense of how the plot will go, so no need to PM me secretly) and we can talk about it/make plans for it.
