Culture(s):  Dewmer

History:  Next to nothing is known about the Dwemer, but it can be assumed that they left the summerset isles long, long ago. Somehow they ended up to the far north east where they found something of great power that has helped them rapidly advance their knowledge in both the arcane and the sciences. They have built there home in what seems to be an active volcano, from which they expand in vast underground city states seeking answers to the nature of the gods.

Name: The Falmer Kingdom

Government Type:  Complete Monarchy

Flag / Symbol (if any):

Total Population: 4,500

Civilian Population: 3,000

Military Population: 1,500

Religion(s): A variation of Aldmeri (Will make up name, Falmora)

Race(s):  Falmer

Culture(s): Falmora, variation of Aldmeri

History: The Falmer were once part of the Aldmer and were a prosperous people before they had at some point in history decided to leave, heading east and then north, eventually reaching Skyrim. Once they had reached Skyrim they proceeded to explore and settle along the northern regions, developing their own culture but still retaining many similarities to the Aldmeri. They were with the Dwemer and Chimer when they left the summerset isles but eventually trailed off and went their own ways, having not seen either of the two races of mer in decades at least. Currently they are the only mer to have settled Skyrim and have developed quite advanced arcane magics and built extensive monuments across the land.

Total Population: 5,000

Civilian Population: 3,000

Race(s): Aldmer

Culture(s): proto-Ayleid (evolving from Aldmeri)

History: A growing group of Aldmer unhappy with the increasing rigidity of society on the Summerset Isles, formed under the guidance of a company of adventurer-explorers (Lyebal), dreamed establishing a new society where mer would not be asked to limit their potential.  Magick in particular is viewed as the birthright of all Aldmer and its use as natural as breathing.

Name: Chiefdom of Ulver

Government Type: Chiefdom elected by the leaders of all the clans

Total Population: 800

Civilian Population: 750

Military Population: 50 (200 extra can be called up from the civilian population as all members of the chiefdom are taught to be warriors from a young age)

Culture(s): Ulverians cherish skill in battle above all else, finding only the strong to be worthy of life. It is for this reason that they raid and sack their neighbors in an attempt to eventually subjugate them.

History: Beginning as a small group of families huddling together for warmth in the frigid lands of the northern most isle of Atmora. Slowly however they formed a small band, finding martial prowess to be highly useful in the taking of others resources to provide for their own. It was from a philosophy of might makes right that the Chiefdom was formed and has slowly grown through conquest ever since.
