Does water taste like nothing or does it taste like water
Water doesn't taste like anything. Our perception of flavor is based on our sense of smell, and the five basic tastes that our tongue can perceive: Sour, Sweet, Salty, Savory and Bitter. Now, pure water doesn't have a smell, and it doesn't have any components that we perceive as Sout, Sweet, Salty, Savory or Bitter, so therefore, it tastes like nothing.

Also I really wish I had been around for the "is stew/soup a drink or a food" debate. It would've been fun to explain why it's a food.
 
Food in and of itself does not retain attractive prospects, though I have been informed that the ability to make food is. Or the ability to offer someone else food of high repute.
