Personality:

Eric is upbeat and extremely positive in almost all things, almost to the point of irritation for those not used to him, but he keeps this attitude for a reason. He firmly believes that if he tries hard enough, his positive morale will raise the overall morale of the group. As a military medic, he knows the importance of morale. Aside from that, one can see that Eric is very intelligent when it comes to solving problems in abstract ways. He's always the first to come up with some complex and convoluted device or plan to get something that the group needs or to avoid any potential dangers. While his ideas seem outlandish, foolish, and unorthodox, anyone who has spent more than a week with Eric will attest to the validity of his out of the box thinking.

Brief description of group:

Eric is fairly new to the family, even so much that he's not entirely trusted by them just yet. He met them by chance when fleeing a horde of undead into a sporting goods store the Family had turned into a base, climbing into their rafters and assisting in the defense of the store. While Eric isn't privy to the inner secrets of the group yet, he's noted the extreme tightness of the group, truly befitting the name Family.

Brief Bio:

Two days before the infection hit, Eric was on leave, spending time with his girlfriend and son at their cabin, teaching them both all the interesting survival things he had learned in the army. One day before the infection, Eric spent the day working in his workroom, making fun new art pieces and joke weapons for his son to play with. The Infection took hold the next morning. Three days after the infection hit, Eric found himself shoveling corpses of people who had gone insane and attacked the other soldiers in the Black Site Camp. Five days later, he was shoveling the corpses of the soldiers that had gotten bitten. Three weeks later, he left the camp, now smoking in flames, filled with screams and howls of something horrid. Two months later, he arrived at his cabin. Two months and one day later he left, bearing freshly bloodied weapons. Six months in the radios went silent. He spent an hour with the last voice listening to them cry before a gunshot ended the conversation. One year after the infection, nothing but the moans of the infected. Eric moved his camp to the roof of a warehouse. One year and six months later, he tells his companion of his fear of insanity. His rifle does not respond, but he finds comfort in this. Two years later, his camp moves again. Eric had spotted a black cat in a distant window. Several hours later, the warehouse collapsed. Exactly two years and five days after the infection hit, Eric came across a group of survivors fleeing from a horde of undead.
