  • Minnie was sorted into Vermintine which she was overjoyed about (mostly because she likes rats). Her sister didn't find this surprising as she has always worked hard and overcome hardships.
  • She is definitely a nervous flier and doesn't enjoy going too high up as she fears falling. She will, however, happily ride a horse that is known to be dangerous, although she will wear a body protector.
  • She likes to say she owns Nyx but she knows he technically belongs to her sister. She has already begun training him to come to her in the field, as well as wear a halter.

  CONTENT WARNING: Abuse
  Minnie was born into a family of purebloods, so it was a shocking discovery when she came out a halfblood. Her birth began the breakdown of their parent's marriage as she was living proof of her mother's infidelity. Her father became physically and emotionally abusive towards his wife and children, using physical attacks as well as his own magic in order to inflict pain upon them. He wanted something to take his anger out on and chose his family.
  
  Her older sister applied to Drunia's in secret and when her acceptance letter came in, she intercepted it before her father could hide it or throw it away. She packed in secret and saved up her cash, pick-pocketing from her parents. She took a bus to the train station and headed off to Drunia's, leaving her sister behind.
  
  Minnie was understandably upset, especially when the abuse that had previously been spread between the three of them became focused on just her and her mother. Part of her hated her sister for abandoning them, but she missed her just as much as she resented her. Her father tried to stop her from going to muggle school in order to hold her captive.
  
  Haewon rarely came home from Drunia's. She hated her parents, she never wanted to see them again, she only ever came back because of Minnie... but the longer she went without coming home, the harder it became. However, the two sisters did stay in contact.
  
  Just before Minnie turned eleven, she contacted her sister. Her father wouldn't let her apply for Drunia's. Haewon had always planned that Minnie would go to Drunia's with her. The two would never have to go home again, Drunia's would be their new home. Haewon applied for her from Drunia's.
  
  When Minnie's acceptance letter arrived, her father got to it before her and was furious at Minnie for applying behind his back. He tore up the letter and punished her for her disobedience. This was the final straw for Haewon. She travelled home, snuck her sister out in the night and escaped to Drunia's.
  
  She visited Rosel the Headmistress with her sister in tow. She pleaded with Rosel to allow her sister to stay on campus until her education began at Drunia's, to which she accepted. When she arrived on campus, Minnie was traumatised and still physically injured from her ordeal, yet still hesitant to move away and step into the unknown. She wouldn't make eye contact with Rosel and didn't want to speak to her.     Scarred and muscular, Auguste is an absolute behemoth - appearing to be part giant.     Auguste is scary to meet at first. A man of few words and a seemingly permanent glare, his massive stature makes him stick out quite a bit from a crowd. Cold and callous, he doesn't have much to say, and usually he has some pretty biting remarks, especially when you first meet him.
    
    This is backed by allegations of his terrible temper and rumors of him beating anyone that looked at him wrong. He's developed an extremely cynical view upon himself, and a general wariness to all efforts to pry into his psyche. He takes his vow of pacifism extremely seriously and has resolved to never hurt a single soul again.
    
    This has led him to become extremely mild in personality, and constantly anxious about hurting others.     CONTENT WARNING: Suicide and abuse
    
    Auguste was born the son of a muggleborn and a disgraced pureblood. They loved each other dearly, and Auguste from the start was considered a prodigy. And his parents couldn't be more proud, teaching him little bits of wandless magic when he was a kid.
    
    His father died, and his mother moved back to France where she took a government position. Her mind never fully recovered, and she became extremely abusive towards the one reminder that she had, scarring his face in a fit of rage in order to tell him and his father apart.
    
    He ran away when he was 12 with new scars and a scarily vacant look in his eyes, missing his Beauxbaton letter by hours. He was taken in by a shady bunch and his wand's tracer was removed. The school officials tried to find him, but Auguste was hidden from the world. The shady bunch was a cult, a large one, and they'd found a new weapon. So they housed him and fed him until he was back to a normal amount of nourishment. Once he was healthy was when the torture began: fear and pain and comfort swirling together until he was a starved and dangerous beast willing to do anything to be given more comforts like food and blankets for the cold. That's when his training started.
    
    One day, he was put in front of a man. A rat, they told him, a traitor to their cause who had wanted a chance to redeem himself. Duel him, and Auguste would get a month's food and blankets for the witner. Lose and he'd get thrown out in the dead of winter.
    
    Auguste won the duel. And as his opponent begged to the masked figures taking the felled dueller away, he never asked where the man went or what happened to him.
    
    He became the death sentence to the group - the executioner. And, the one last hope to people that were captured by their group. Win against this scared child, and we'll let you go. He won against every opponent, terrified for his own life and also seeking the thrill of battle. Bloodthirsty and full of rage at the world for putting him in a position like this, while also hating himself for becoming something that he could barely recognize anymore.
    
    Finally, an undercover auror managed to infiltrate the group and not get caught. And he met the fearsome beast that had everyone in the gang so scared: a suicidal young adult who was being blackmailed and tortured into being a weapon to keep the others in line. He was what stopped Auguste from killing himself.
    
    Needless to say, when the gang was finally taken into custody, they put Auguste on suicide watch and put him through deprogramming and a lot of therapy. That's when they found that he was the runaway from so long ago. His mother was jailed, he was put carefully into custody of the auror, and he was allowed to finish his last two school years amongst his peers where they stared at the beanpole and decided to not question where he came from or why he looked like he'd seen a war.

    Auguste started putting on muscle when he was properly fed. The starved rabid animal look was gone and replaced was a 6'7 giant with a timid smile and a soft heart. He started a music career to give himself a creative outlet, indie rock being his choice. That was when a school approached him.
    
    Teach a class, they said.
    
    Now Auguste despite his performer career in entertainment, didn't actually like giving speeches and he got nervous around large groups of people. But, he supposed that he could teach people how to defend themselves against the same things he'd inflict.

  Haewon has been looking after Minnie since she was born. She has a strong connection with her and is quickly enraged when someone picks on her. She is happy to teach Minnie anything she needs to know. She has helped her practice defensive magic to fight off bullies, as well as everything Minnie knows about horse riding. She hopes to teach her to fly, too.

  Rosel and Haewon have a strange relationship. Though she is fond of the headmistress, she doesn't really know how to show affection. She has the vibe of a rebellious teenager, reliving the years she missed out on with her own parents. She appreciates Rosel for what she has done but will still lash out on occasion. However, she secretly just wants a hug.
  Blythe
  Blythe and Haewon have a little bit of a rivalry going on. Though neither of them are exactly top of the class, Haewon still feels joy when she beats her test scores.   • Unlabelled sexuality, though is known to be attracted to any and all genders. She doesn't seem interested in many sexual encounters, however.
  • Haewon was sorted into Bearpaw. She believes this is because of the bravery she showed while protecting and caring for her younger sister as a child.
  • Despite her sporty nature, she is quite clumsy and often gets injured while playing Quidditch. Luckily, her injuries have been minor so far and she continues to play.
  • Haewon also has a passion for horse riding and owns her own mare. She rescued the mare while she was pregnant and kept the foal, then brought the horse back into work with the help of her instructor. She allows Minnie to ride her mare, but only with supervision as she can be unpredictable, and plans to let Minnie keep her foal once he is old enough to ride. She won't let Minnie ride without a body protector.
  • Is mostly interested in Defense Against the Dark Arts and subjects which allow her to practically use magic. She has little interest in the theory behind magic and doesn't enjoy Potions classes.
  • Often goes to her younger sister for help with homework.
  • Her current wand is not her first as she broke it in her second year. She often forgot to keep her wand in a safe place while flying and, after a fall from her broom, snapped the wand in her pocket.

  Haewon was a happy baby. Her parents loved her dearly, she was raised in a household full of positive magic. Her parents planned to start her magical education early, teaching her little bits and pieces themselves so she would be more than ready to go to a good wizarding school. They were excited when Haewon's mother fell pregnant again and the small family moved to Sweden after the father got a job abroad with the Ministry of Magic. However, when her little sister was born a halfblood, the family began to break down. They no longer cared about their education, the parents were clinging onto their relationship with no thought for their children.
  
  Haewon had to step up to care for her sister when she was only a child. Their parents often forgot to get groceries, blowing their money on other more fun things. Haewon learned to cook simple meals and would snag extra food from school whenever she could. The two, unlike most of the children their age, enjoyed school lunches. It was the best food they could get their hands on.
  
  Their father became physically abusive, furious that his wife had been unfaithful to him and he was now raising another man's daughter. Haewon became determined to get into a boarding school, to escape her home and begin a new life. However, her sister was younger than her, she had to leave her behind. She struggled with the guilt of what she had done. She was certain she would get Minnie into Drunia's so the two could both get away from home.
  
  When Minnie sent her a letter to tell her her father ripped up her Drunia's letter and punished her for applying, Haewon made the journey home, taking hours worth of public transport to their home. She couldn't tell Minnie about her plan as their father could find out, instead showing up out of nowhere. She snuck in, still owning her own set of keys, and woke Minnie. She helped her pack and the two took a midnight train going anywhere-- to Drunia's.
  
  Haewon was known to the staff for always staying on campus during the school holidays, rarely going home, so she felt more comfortable going to them for help. She went to Rosel with her sister in tow, asking if she could stay until her academic year began. Rosel accepted and Minnie moved into Haewon's dorm until she could be sorted.
  
  Despite how distracted Haewon had become a quidditch prodigy. She took her pent up aggression out on the field, becoming a skilled beater for Bearpaw. She was always good at practical magic but hated anything that required reading or thinking too hard.
