I'd go with the funny one personally. I feel like they would get along with one of my characters really well and would bring out the best in the other.

the genius sarcastic one is also appealing though because he would get along with the other I feel like and anyone who's sarcastic is just great.

I also prefer the funny character purely since I wanted this roleplay to be quite light-hearted, so they would help build that atmosphere. That's two votes for funny, and I'm not sure if you'll get others voting, so I think it'd be good to make a start.
