Personality: Drake what you would call a gentleman thief or at least that what he likes to be called. He doesn’t completely act like a gentlemen, being sarcastic and arrogant most the time. He makes fun of most scenarios and often cracks jokes about others be them friend or foe, he just enjoy messing with people, mostly. He may joke about everything but that doesn’t mean he’s not serious. It opposite really, he enjoys doing it of course, but it also to server as way to keep his opponents off balance and makes him seem less predictable. He may act a little lazy at times but he’s not someone you should under estimate.
History: Nine months after the Shade had “fun” with a beautiful and elegant woman her family left a baby boy on his front door. All that was with the child was a note stating his name, Drake Swift. Richard didn’t want a child but if it was really his own child then he rather take care of the child himself then risk anyone using him for their gain. It took only a few years before he new the child was definitely his own. Drake was able to form his shadow into different shapes, through the shadow still stayed as a shadow on the wall. Through the coming years he was able to better control his shadow and even able travel short distances in it at the age of 15. But after be able to use that power he stopped progressing in his powers after an... accident.


After graduating from high school Drake started traveling around America to better himself and get to know the world better… and that is what he told his father but they both new better, Drake was just not that type of guy. He was more of the type to travel around America to steal things and go on his own little adventures. For awhile did just that,moving from town to town,city to city stealing valuable objects and selling on the black market.


But after the event Alcatraz and soon the disbandment of the league Drake took a different turn in life. Through he enjoyed stealing and traveling around, the crooks who started infest streets of his home town, Opal city, started getting too much for the heroes already their. So he decide to stop his adventures for while and take care of the small time crooks of Opal city while other hero focused on bigger problem threats.


Powers:


Shadow manipulation- He shift his shadow into a variety of objects be solid or non solid, heavy or light, or even bouncy or non bouncy. His shadow can onl be one object at a time through.
Shadow transport- He travel in his shadow for a short distance before he has exit out of it.


Superhuman durability- He can take more damage and survive more than a normal human can. He is not immortal though and can still die just easy as anyone else when it comes to getting shot in the heart or any other vital organs.


Skills:


Skilled thief- He's a skilled thief, an expert in a way to pickpocket people without them noticing, knows how to pick locks, through only normal locks and not electronic or technical locks, and knows how to get through hundreds of types of safes.
Weaknesses: Too bright- When there’s a blinding amount of light around Drake he can’t use his powers.
Over confidences- He thinks he is more capable than what he really is and can cause him some trouble. Like trying to steal from somewhere he can’t get into or fighting someone completely out of his league.


Uncontrollable abilities- He, in theory, has more powers then he uses, but he can't to control them yet and if he tried to use them it could cause… his shadow to turn into a monster from the Shadowlands or something equally as bad.
