That One Fear In My Enemy's Eyes
The first thing I'd like to do in this thread is introduce you all to the most important part of the RP for Saiyan characters: the Super Saiyan transformations!
Each one is different from the next and requires different prerequisites to attain the form as well as various strengths and weaknesses associated with each which may or may not be canon to the manga/anime versions of each form.
As well there are two new forms which have been added to the RP of my own design which are entirely non-canon, but I think they're pretty cool so I'm going to make them part of the RP whether anyone else likes them or not. Why? Because I can!
These forms are subject to change in terms of how they work and how they are attained.
So, on to the transformations!!
The Super Saiyan is the first official transformation of the Saiyan Race.
To attain this transformation, a Saiyan must accumulate an exorbitant amount of power (a roughly 3,000,000 Power Level) and experience a tremendous emotional upheaval. Should this take place, the Saiyan's consciousness enters a state of limbo as their bodies react to the sudden shift in their environment which triggered the change. The more dangerous the enemy and the more desperate the need for the transformation, the more rapidly and violently it takes place.
This form dramatically increases a Saiyan's power output by a total of 50x their base form's maximum power. Any fatigue and damage sustained from battle before the transformation's initial trigger are negated upon the transformation's completion. On top of the dramatic power increase, the Saiyan's natural aggression and anger are heightened considerably due to the nature of the transformation itself drawing power from negative emotion which further supplements the ferocity of their fighting style and prowess in battle.
Driven by anger, the Saiyan in question is numbed to pain and all sense of fear or nervousness of facing down the enemy before them.
The Super Saiyan 2 is an advanced version of the Super Saiyan form. But unlike its predecessor this form can be attained in one of two ways: an emotional upheaval, or rigorous training.
If they attain this form by training, then they must do so by learning to perfectly control and maintain the flow of Ki through their bodies. The Super Saiyan 2 state will automatically force them to do so if they attain it through an emotional upheaval, as if they don't learn to control the Ki flow (and quickly) they will rapidly revert to a regular Super Saiyan. Once they have learned to control and maintain the flow of Ki through their bodies while in Super Saiyan form, the Super Saiyan 2 form becomes the next stage as their bodies become more adept at taking in greater levels of power.
When they transform into Super Saiyans, their body's Ki pathways become engorged for a brief period as they take in the power needed to finish transforming. Once they have transformed, their Ki pathways return to normal size. Training for Super Saiyan 2 is about learning to engorge their Ki pathways at will, because the more engorged they become the more power their bodies can utilize. The longer the Ki pathways remain engorged, the longer they can maintain higher levels of power. The longer they can maintain higher levels of power, the more quickly their power levels rise and the more prepared their bodies will be to handle the transformation once it finally occurs.
The Super Saiyan 3 is the third stage of the Super Saiyan transformation cycle, and it is by far the most difficult to maintain due to the enormous amount of Ki it drains in order to sustain itself. Even an experienced warrior with perfect Ki control who's had access to the form for years will find it difficult to maintain this transformation for more than about 5-6 minutes at a time before their reserves of Ki begin to plummet.
The reason for this is because of just how powerful the form is and how much the body must work in order to access it. The Ki pathways of the body can only engorge themselves so far before maintenance of Ki becomes impossible, like a series of pipes filling with too much water and bursting at the connection joints. Like the pipes, the body's Ki pathways engorge themselves to their absolute limit in order to allow the body to access and maintain the kind of power needed to use this form.
That's why it's so draining and why even those who've had access to the form for years often prefer not to use it unless it's a last resort.
In short, the form is unreliable.
In order to attain the Super Saiyan 3 transformation, a Saiyan must have access to the Super Saiyan 2 power and trained while in that form for a significant amount of time and under significant pressure and duress. The extreme pressure and duress simulates the Super Saiyan 3's natural state, thus preparing the body for the form by default. However, as stated above, it doesn't matter how prepared the Saiyan's body is for the transformation. Once it is attained, it's still going to drain them like a leech once they've transformed.
The first instance of attaining Super Saiyan 3 often only lasts for one minute before they revert to their base form in pure exhaustion, so if they attain the form in battle they'd better hope they get the job done in time before they return to normal or they'll be in serious trouble.
The drain from Super Saiyan 3 is like exercise induced asthma in that the exhaustion effects lasts for quite some time even after they've returned to normal and had time to catch their breath. On average the Saiyan who uses this form will be exhausted and unable to utilize their full power again for at least an hour.
The Super Saiyan God form can only be attained by Saiyans who are pure of heart and purpose. After attaining Super Saiyan 3 the Saiyan must experience another emotional upheaval, this time due to nothing other than the highest level of emotional turmoil. Anger, sadness, loneliness, jealousy. None of them are enough, not even when combined.
To trigger the transformation to this level, the Saiyan must lose (or at least think they've lost) everything which pushes their mind into a semi-conscious state and allows the transformation to begin proper.
When the Saiyan's mind is pushed to the breaking point, their consciousness travels through a space known as the Void Beyond Space and Time. While in this space, it searches for a source of inner strength which is strong enough to transcend space and time. A good example would be family. If a Saiyan is married and has children, their love for their family may just be enough to bring them back and trigger the transformation. Another good example is true friendship. If a Saiyan has forged a strong bond with another being to the point where the Saiyan basically views them as family and would die for them if necessary, that may be enough to bring them back and trigger the transformation.
If their consciousness cannot find a proper source to return their mind to the present, the transformation ends in a misfire and the Saiyan merely experiences a tremendous surge of power for a short time once their consciousness returns to the present which usually takes around 30-45 seconds of uninterrupted time. If their bodies are attacked while their mind is wandering the Void Beyond Space and Time, it draws them back to reality and they gain no power whatsoever.
When and if a suitable source of inner strength which transcends time and space is found, the Saiyan's consciousness will overcome the pressure of the Void Beyond Space and Time and trigger the summoning of Divine Ki. This summoning will take place in the mind and, as one might expect, will follow the Saiyan back to reality where the transformation begins in full.
The skies will darken and stormy weather will begin to overtake the surroundings no matter what the weather looked like before. Golden clouds will form like a golden hurricane with the Saiyan standing dead center in the eye of the storm. Rain will fall like the ocean dropping on your head, then turn to ice and hail before coming mysteriously to a stop. The Saiyan's body will glow with a heavenly (pun intended) blue light as a beam of crimson energy emerges from the skies as if from nowhere and strikes down on the Saiyan's body. Their energy signature will disappear from the senses of mortals, and thereafter their power will ascend to heights unimaginable as their bodies change and adopt the Divine Ki as its own.
The Saiyan Beyond God is the next stage of existence after attaining the power of Super Saiyan God, and is a natural evolution of the Saiyan's base form rather than a transformation.
After attaining the power of Super Saiyan God, the Saiyan's body retains a good majority of the vast increase in power output and adopts it as its new base level. Notice the aura's milky white coloration. This is the trademark of the Saiyan Beyond God level as it becomes this color no matter the color of the Saiyan's original aura.
This form's maximum power is leagues beyond what they were capable of before and puts all of their previous Super Saiyan forms to shame. Even the Super Saiyan 3 can't hold a candle to the might of this form. In fact this from can be thought of as a Super Saiyan 3's Super Saiyan in that the difference in power is at least a magnitude of 50. Imagine a Saiyan who's original base power before the Super Saiyan God transformation was 10 million. Multiply that power by 800 (4x the Super Saiyan 2 form), and you have 8 billion. Then multiply that by 50, and you have 400 billion.
That's the power of the Saiyan Beyond God, and this is their new BASE FORM after attaining Super Saiyan God.

Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan, or Super Saiyan Blue for short, is the final stage of the Saiyan Power hierarchy. When the Saiyan has attained the power of the Saiyan Beyond God level, they can still access the regular Super Saiyan forms if needed. But this form is well above and beyond any of them regardless of the Saiyan Beyond God's base power increases when using those three forms.
This form, as the Super Saiyan power did before it, multiplies the user's power by 50 and grants them Divine Ki.
This form is much, much more powerful than the Super Saiyan God transformation.
Super Saiyan Rosé is an alternate version of Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan and is only attainable by a Saiyan without a pure heart. Whereas Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan is a form representing mental tranquility and purity as well as marked by a complete and total mastery of one's Ki, Super Saiyan Rosé represents internal chaos and malicious intent manifested in a rather surprisingly stable and incredibly powerful transformation. In fact, all other constraints being equal, the Super Saiyan Rosé surpasses Super Saiyan Blue in terms of raw power and stamina though Super Saiyan Blue is easier to control and has more physical durability.
In a battle of the Gods, it would be anyone's guess who would win.
Dark Super Saiyan
This is a darker (metaphorically and literally) version of the Super Saiyan form which is achieved when the Super Saiyan transformation is undertaken at such a time when darkness rules the Saiyan's heart and mind. Should the Saiyan in question fail to overcome the negative feelings and thoughts ruling their heart and mind, this is the result. A darker, more powerful, and more menacing version of their natural Super Saiyan state guided by negativity and a deep seated desire for destruction.
This form is stronger than the regular Super Saiyan, magnifying the Saiyan's base power by 55x its normal amount and providing an enhanced boost to strength and speed compared to its natural counterpart. This transformation also magnifies the Saiyan's natural aggression to an even greater degree than the regular Super Saiyan form, making them that much more tenacious and hell bent on defeating their opponents which could be both a positive and a negative depending on the circumstances.
One horrifically negative consequence of this transformation is that it eats away at the Saiyan's sanity the more often they take to this form. Due to the negative feelings and thoughts ruling their heart and mind, the Saiyan's brain begins to regress to a more primal state of being. This primal state eventually takes over completely, driving the Saiyan to madness and a state of near constant paranoia and aggression.
White Super Saiyan
The White Super Saiyan, despite its lighter appearance compared to its darker counterpart, is actually another negative version of the transformation.
When the Saiyan has given up hope of life and decides to let their heart reset to a neutral state of being where they no longer care about the universe they live in, their place in it, or even their own life, this is the result.
This form is just as powerful as the natural Super Saiyan state, but comes with a tremendous boost to speed and stamina compared to its natural or darker counterparts. Because the body enters a state of near complete relaxation in its lack of empathy and caring for the universe, it is free to react to the peak of its potential. Thus, even though the signals from the brain travel just as fast as normal, the body is more reactive because of its relaxed state. Normally even a "calm" and "level headed" Super Saiyan's body will be slower to react because of muscle tension and the Saiyan's mental "readiness" for combat.
