Setting
The year is 9:50 Dragon. The fifth blight, you know, that one that was finished before it even really got started, was twenty years ago now (9:30 Dragon), and the Inquisition was formed nine years ago, in 9:41 Dragon. As the threat of Corypheus was demolished, the Inquisition instead was orientated to act as a protection force for the new Divine, former Spymaster for the Inquisition, Leliana, but eventually the organisation was forcefully disbanded under less that stellar circumstances.
After the Inquisition finally came to an end, a group of like minded intellectual sorts remained close friends and acquaintances. This group became increasingly frustrated and concerned with the lack of effort or desire to track down and stop the artist formerly known as Solas, Fen'Harel. Thus, they promised to bring the would be God down before any true damage could be done, or at the very least they were going to try their absolute hardest. The group has agreed to meet and assemble in the now abandoned Skyhold before venturing onwards to meet with the Mercenary band.
Word has been sent to the (Insert Merc Group Name here when we finally decide upon one), a gang with a good working reputation who has worked with the Inquisition on occasion in the past. Currently, the group is on a scavenging mission amongst the outskirts of the Dales. A ex-Orzamarr dwarf hired them to obtain rare and fanciful ancient Elvhen artefacts to sell to his more esteemed patrons. They're planning on investigating a old ruin soon, it's odd really. The ruin was destroyed centuries ago now, and yet, it looks somewhat recently in use...
