In North-Central USA lies Dorcha. A beautiful city... when you're in the right places. The towering, glistening skyscrapers and the beautiful lights of the restaurants and stores of the main strips hide the darker parts of the city. Businesses flourish in the clean Central, North, and East districts, with well-kept parks and monumental statues attesting to the health of the city. Many live in the pricey apartment high-rises and walk to their office occupations. A glistening river splits the city though the middle, cutting through the Central district and adding to the shining glamour. The Northern District is decidedly old-world, with wonderful street markets and lovely, simple old buildings. The whole city is spattered with beautiful Gothic churches, even where it seems as though nobody would ever worship anything but money.

The train-routes generally try to avoid the Westside and Southside, preferring the opulent Northside and Eastside. The riders of the trains often avoid those areas too, out of fear for their purses - and their lives. Gang wars are not uncommon in this area, and drugs flow through the underbelly of the city as easily as the water in the river. The police try to help, but often their aid is rejected in an odd paradox, and it is almost suicide to send any uniformed officer into the Southside and Westside. It is a mix of many ethnicities and rich cultures, but almost all of those people inhabiting it are low-middle-class to poor. The area is riddled with dilapidated, abandoned warehouses, abandoned buildings, and junkyards - especially in the Southern District, where the river meets the down-abandoned Old Docks - which lie just South to the New Docks - and out of the city bounds. To one who knows the area, it's easy to simply disappear. But what may already be in those hiding places could be horrifying.
