It's the year 2291. Technology has come a long way, as you may have imagined. The Lito, a device used to create an alternate universe outside of the imagination, is used by almost anyone who can afford it. The population are reliant on it. They feel lost and unfulfilled if they are disconnected for too long, and can sometimes show withdrawal symptoms, as if the Lito was some kind of drug. The Wire, a collective of companies, controls all of the World's connections; electricity and internet, phone-lines and even cars. A group of anonymous hackers break down The Wire, killing anyone using the Lito at that moment in time. The story will be based around a group of people, enjoying a night at a bar, not using a Lito. As people drop dead around them, and the music stops, they must venture into the world, with no lights, vehicles or means of communication, to get to a Safe Point. These Safe Points are equipped in case of a war, but in some ways, this is worse. On their travels, they will find out things they wish never to have have come to know.
