Alright, I'll post first!

This was the first time in years since they all really saw one another. Since their adventure to another world, fighting against an entire kingdom bent on ruling the Digital World. Since... They had to leave it behind. For a moment, leaning back in her chair, Sarah remembered when they all had to say goodbye to their partners. When they all had to return to their 'normal lives' (After everything: were they normal?). She remembered how desperate she was to see Herissmon again, so she spent hours with the handheld that once served as a Digi-Vice.

Now, almost all of them were here, again. Sitting around a fancy waiting room. Their partners enjoying their own reunion. Well, almost all; Considering the lone Dorumon among them. Funny, their leader was going to be the last to join. Sarah smiled to herself, before turning her attention back to watching Herissmon among the others.

As Arthur Poe touched the knob of the door of the D.S.G., he vividly remembered everything. It was a long time ago, the whole thing; he changed a lot since then. And he didn't. He was the same introverted bookworm but now more mature, more responsible and more aware of the dangers out there. He had followed the D.S.G.'s activities but he was not sure whether he wanted a call from them. Certainly, the adventure he had with Tapirmon... and the others... was something that shaped him in ways he never could have imagined, but he had moved on, thinking (or even hoping?) that it was just a thing that happened one time. They almost died; all of them. Thanks to their own strengths and the sacrifices of their partners, they managed to survive but he knew that another voyage to the Digital World would be the same if not even worse. That is why he hesitated when he received the call. But he missed Tapirmon so much; the mischievous little creature knew him so well and there were countless situations when he yearned for his presence, when he needed no one else but him. He also missed the others but he was not sure how he would react to them, nor how they would react to him after so much time. A lot has happened then and since then, and they were not the same people. Sarah would certainly be there, Elijah too... as the memories started to fade away into a misty oblivion, Arthur almost turned around and went back home. Had it not been for a random D.S.G. agent who wanted to enter the building at the same time, and who smiled at him while telling him to enter without fear, Arthur might have done it, but as fate wanted it - he was inside.

The interior of the building was as futuristic as its exterior, which wasn't all that surprising seeing how it was a new building and how it dealt with advanced technology. He read the instructions on his phone once more and looked around, trying to follow them without getting lost among the hospital-looking halls full of people in dark suits. It was a maze, certainly, but he managed to get the hang of it soon enough and at one point, he found himself in a fancy waiting room.

As soon as he entered, a familiar voice greeted him and rushed to his side. It was Tapirmon. Arthur embraced his friend and partner, but both seemed to be lost for words. They were happy, thrilled, that much was obvious, but save for a sincere gaze, they could not utter one word. Still holding Tapirmon in his arms, Arthur looked around. There were some new faces, some well-known ones and the absence of one. How typical, he thought to himself as he looked at her, giving her a pale, barely visible smile and a nod. Well, so much for that, he thought once more as he was grasping the whole situation, as he was making peace with his decision and the situation he was in.

Dan still had nightmares about all the bad stuff that happened to him and the other Champions in the Digital World from time to time. Still when he was asked by the D.S.G. to not only meet with the others again but Candlemon as well he took the opportunity in an instant. While the adventure had had it's downsides he had a lot of good memories of it as well, the gratitude of the Digimon they saved, beautiful scenery you can't find in the human world and of course all the friendships they formed, all things he reminisced on during the bus ride, looking at the old game system that once served as his Digivice.

A bit later he arrived at the building and entered it, shocked at both how futuristic and how complicated to navigate it was. Despite having the instructions with him it took Dan a while to find the right room due to several attempts at shortcuts taking him to dead ends or restricted area's he couldn't enter.

Eventually he arrived though with Candlemon being the first to greet him and pulling him in for a hug. "Dan, hey Dan how are you? It's so good to see you again. Did you know that those Hagurumon successfully rebuilt their village despite them not having hands?" There were times that Candlemon's motormouth tendencies annoyed him but this wasn't one of them. "Hey, it's good to see you too." Dan broke the hug off, ignoring the bits of molten wax on his clothes.

He turned around to greet the already sitting humans and quickly noticed the group wasn't complete yet, or maybe that was everyone who could easily come to the reunion. "Hey guys." A few minutes after he sat down Arthur showed up and was greeted just enthusiastically by Tapirmon as he had been by Candlemon.

When Wallace was called by the D.S.G he was contemplating on whether or not to meet them. After all, despite him becoming more courageous, him and his friends nearly all died in the digital world multiple times so the logical thing to do would be ignoring them right? After a few minutes of him debating on whether or not to go Wallace finally decided to leave to the D.SG building. After all, he promised himself that he would become a braver person whilst he was trapped in the digital world.

It took a while to get there due to some traffic jams but he finally arrived at the D.S.G building. He took out his old digivice that was in his pocket as he reminisced about his time in the digital world and the time he spent with his simple minded best friend Betamon. No matter what happened Betamon would usually keep calm and level headed and live without a care in the world most of the time. He remembered how his younger self would argue with Betamon due to his nonchalant attitude towards life.

When he finally entered the meeting room he was greeted by the site of his old friends and his partner/best friend Betamon. "Wallace! Hey Wallace! How've you been doing in the human world. It feels like its been forever since we last saw each other." It was nice to see that Betamon missed him as much as he did with him. "Don't worry Betamon I missed you too." He said with a smile on his face as he sat down and started to talk to the rest of his friends.

Ace was outside of the D.S.G. building looking up at top floor. This was by far the most impressive building he'd been to. He held his digivice in his pocket then released a breathe he didn't knew he held in. The hope that he might reunite with his Monodramon was something that he held onto. But at the same time, so much had happened to him over the years. So many losses. When his parents were still with him, they were less than thrilled to find out about the adventures he'd been on. He was living with his sister now and he had to sneak away from her in order to get here. Still though nothing was gonna deter him from seeing his friend, even if he wasn't the same person he was. What frightened him more was actually seeing the others. He wasn't allowed contact with any of them and wasn't sure if he'd recognize any of them or vice versa. He needed to do this, this was the first time in a while he didn't feel depressed in some way.

The hallways of the building were like that of a scene in a movie. As if he'd somehow entered into a different time. No one seemed to mind that he walked in with a skateboard or really that he was in such a building at all. Finding the room seemed easy enough. Yet when he was at the door, he stopped. He thought of what he'd say to everyone. He shook his head at the idea of trying to plan something as stuff like this was not his strong suit. The door opened and he was immediately greeted by what could be mistook for as a purple dinosaur. Monodramon looked up at him with such excitement clearly trying to stop himself from jumping up onto Ace. He merely smiled and bent down, then hugged his partner a tear starting to roll down from one eye. The same thing was happening to Monodramon.

He didn't really know how to describe it, but Ace always seemed to understand what his partner was saying. Even though the digimon was one of few words, they always got along pretty well. In fact it was this trait that forced Ace to come out of his shell and speak his mind more. The first thing that his partner said when they let go was "You ride now, didn't expect that?" Ace wiped his tear away, laughing at the comment about his skateboard he made. As he looked around the room, he recognized the others after a few moments. Yet he didn't see everyone...odd.

Thirty minutes had passed since he arrived, but Elijah still hesitated to exit his car. Instead, he rested his head on the steering wheel and looked down at the small game system in his hand. It seemed so much bigger when he was a kid, but now he could easily turn it over in his palm. It was one of the things that made him realize just how many years it had been since he had anything to do with that other world. However, even though it was smaller than before, it still carried the same weight as it did back then. Not physically, of course. All those memories just came flooding back when he looked at his reflection in the tiny screen.

Elijah sighed as he thought about everything that happened during his adventure in the Digital World. How many times did he almost die? How many times had their journey almost been cut short because of misfortune? Too many. He remembered the stress he felt as a leader, blaming himself for everything that went wrong. He was always afraid he'd lose his life or that he'd make a decision that would end up hurting someone. He always struggled to sleep during the night, but reminded himself that he couldn't show weakness when morning came. Even though those days were gone, they were still fresh in his mind, and he wondered if they'd return if he walked through those doors.

The bad experiences from his adventure had a major impact on him, but it wasn't as if he didn't have any good memories. The time spent in the Digital World helped him grow, and he made friends he would've never met if he hadn't been chosen, including Dorumon. The thought of seeing his partner and fellow tamers was what pushed him this far, but now that he was this close to seeing them again, his doubts were stronger than ever. Could he really trust this agency? Would he face those challenges all over again? Was he just trying to cling to the past because he wasn't satisfied with the present? He couldn't answer any of those questions until he opened the door.

Knowing he'd sit behind the wheel for hours if he didn't make a move, he decided to rip off the bandage and opened the car door. When his feet touched the ground, he felt a lot calmer. With each step, his negative thoughts faded. Now that he was actually entering the building instead of just thinking about it, he realized that he wasn't really acting like himself. Maybe the exhaustion was getting to him. Most of his nights were spent studying and working, so he wasn't feeling too great. If he stuck with whatever these people had in store for him, he'd probably have to deal with a few more sleepless nights.

After a few minutes of walking down white hallways filled with suspicious men in black, he found the place he was looking for. As soon as he opened the door, he'd be walking into a new world, one he left behind a long time ago. He'd meet people he hadn't seen in ages, not knowing how they changed since they last met. It was also possible that there wouldn't be anyone on the other side. He was starting to get cold feet again, but he quickly got rid of any doubts that were creeping their way back into his head. Running a hand through his hair, he placed the other on the door and let out a deep breath.

As soon as he opened the door, Elijah let out a surprised grunt as he felt something crash into him. Knocked onto the floor, he slowly raised his head to see what collided with his body. A heavy, moving mass of white and purple fur sat on his chest, working its way up until a row of sharp teeth were in front of Elijah's face.

"Eli!"

Staring into the familiar pair of golden eyes, Elijah felt all the exhaustion leave his body. He immediately wrapped his arms around his old friend, feeling the slight twitch of black wings as he let his fingers sink into the soft fur. "Doru!" It had been years since he was forced to say goodbye to his precious partner, but as soon as they saw each other again, it felt like no time had passed. Comforted by the fact that Dorumon still cared about him and remembered their friendship, he laughed, rolling on the ground as the excited Digimon continued to play.

Remembering where he was, Elijah quickly stood up and cleared his throat, trying to forget his childlike reaction from a second ago. "It's good to see you again, Doru." It had been so long since they last saw each other that he acted without thinking. He hadn't behaved like that in years, so it was a little embarrassing for that old side of him to pop up now.

"You're taller, but you haven't changed at all."

"Shut up." Smiling, Elijah gently flicked the gem on Dorumon's forehead. His partner hadn't changed either. The small beast was as cheeky as always. It made him feel dumb for worrying about pointless things. No matter how much time passed, their relationship wouldn't change. "Sorry to keep you waiting, pal."

With Dorumon in tow, Elijah finally entered the room and greeted the other people he'd kept waiting. A part of him was expecting to see the same seven children from all those years ago, but like him, they had grown up. Some were hard to recognize, but he could still tell who was who. He couldn't forget these people if he tried. All of them were as important to him as the journey they shared, but he managed to contain his initial reaction, unlike with Dorumon. Everyone here was almost an adult, so they probably weren't looking for an emotional reunion. He also thought his friends would have the same worries as him, so acting overly cheery seemed a bit inappropriate. As happy as they must've been to see their partners again, being here likely brought back some bad memories. He wanted to be considerate. "It's been a while. You guys been doing alright?"
