PERSONALITY: Comes off as rather shy and would rather sit back and observe than socialize with strangers, however get him started on something he is passionate about and it will be hard to get him to stop.
He is quite insecure over his lack of control over his own powers so is reluctant to practice in front of people even in class, this can lead to sudden outbursts where he will lose complete control of his powers.
Once he decides you are his friend he is loyal almost to a fault, only taking your actions towards him into account no matter how horrible people say you are.
The world tends to disappear when he is drawing and thus it could take a while to get his attention at times. Rarely is his sketchbook far away and most of his clothes have at least a little paint on them somewhere, after all every shirt becomes a paint shirt eventually.

HISTORY: Born to his demon lord father and human mother. His mother died when he was 5 during an attack to destroy his father's happiness, it is believed his grandfather orchestrated the attack. His father became too scared to stay close to his son and thus left him with trusted friends to be raised by them instead, only occasionally visiting during holidays and birthdays.
His closest friend is his pet hellhound Maylee, a gift from his father, and being separated from her causes anxiety.
It was the idea of his foster family to enrol him in the academy after a particularly destructive outbreak. His father agreed as it still allowed him to keep his distance from Malvagio and in theory keeping him safe.
His demonic blood is slowly taking over. Over time he develops more and more unnatural(for a human) traits, suck as natural bright green streaks in his hair. He was born with a black angel wing "tattoo" that covers the entire left side of his back.

POWERS/ ABILITIES: Water manipulation including things filled with water such as plants. He cannot seem to control water on its own very well but plants he can make move so he believes he actually controls plants and water not just water itself. If he feels threatened or really any strong emotion his magic tends to act out on its own which is currently the only time he can control water on its own. This has caused many issues in the past as it will reach for the closest source of water even if it is a pipe in a wall. In theory any "container" of water could be controlled.
Once he reaches 21 flight will become an option but only with some form of prosthetic wing as he only develops one.

WEAKNESSES: naive, very introverted, has very little control over his power, tends to hyper focus on things(his art especially)

PERSONALITY: Daymeon will flirt with anything that seems alive if they let him, and sometimes even if they don't. He enjoys pushing the limits of people, sometimes purposefully making them uncomfortable even if it means dressing as feminine as possible to do so. He loves creating chaos with little pranks here and there and using his fox form to get away undetected or in the very least uncaught.
Even friends aren't safe from his flirting and pranks, though he does tone it down quite a bit if asked of him. He is incredibly loyal to those he likes and would never intentionally break their trust or do something that bothers them, though of course that doesn't mean it won't still happen anyway.

HISTORY: Was born as a normal fox that was killed during a hunt. He was given a second chance at life as a kitsune in order to bring revenge to humans. He has spent much of his life acting as pet and slave for various humans using "contracts" to later take their life once it is broken by the human. The human offers up their life if they break any of the trivial rules set in place by this contract. It could be as little as bring a rose home once a week, but it is always something that can be easily forgotten in time. Lately he has grown tired of it and decided to find a place to help him improve his abilities and for some entertainment, thus he found the DFA.

POWERS/ ABILITIES:
Shapeshifting: Can take the form of a red fox at will

Illusions: Can hide his ears, tail and slit pupils to appear fully human. To a lesser degree he can trick others into seeing things that aren't there as long as he has an object of similar size to cast it upon

Fire Magic: He has an affinity towards fire magic but is only really good at using his fox fire.

STRENGTHS: Good with words, agile, great night vision

WEAKNESSES: bright lights, water magic, bad at reading the room.

POWERS/ ABILITIES: (LISTED AND EXPLAINED)
Flight: Much as the title suggests she has the ability to fly short distances however only when in her true form, her half form though having wings cannot take off and are more for appearance than anything, she isn't all that good at it however and most frequently crashes when attempting to do so.

Enhanced Senses: This only applies to her eyesight and sense of smell, they are what you'd call above average and aid her greatly during some situations and can be quite the hinderance in others, she has no off switch for them so in certain situations they can be used against her. Her eyesight both always her to see much better in darker places, though is not night vision, this was developed by dragons who hailed from caves or underground like surroundings and her sense of smell simply somewhat better than a humans, more akin to that of a dogs.

Enhanced Strength: Pretty self-explanitory her strength is naturally beyond normal standards, though in order to keep it up she requires much more food than the average being along with regular training, it wouldn't be a stretch for her to lift up a boulder in human form and maybe more in her true one.

Pyromancy/Fire & Cryromancy/Ice: Thanks to having both a parent who's specialisation hailed in fire and one who's was in ice she has the ability to manipulate the two, though at a far lesser level than if she was purely a mix of one. She can both breath fire and summon ice from seemingly thin air, she tends to lean more towards her ice side though as her mother taught her specifically in it and it often causes far less damage to clean up afterwards.

Transformation: Like that of all ancient dragons in folklore she can shift herself into the form of a human, it doesn't require any magic or much concentration to remain in it though the switch between does cost a considerable amount of energy, she also has a half form that enhances her otherwise weakened human forms abilities though tends not to use it as it's rather- revealing, lets just say.

POWERS/ ABILITIES:
Necromancy: Pretty self-explanatory but a trait she inherited from her two parents, along with her sister. Hers in particular focuses on the animation of others inanimate objects, in particular teddy bears and other stuffed animals through her own life energy, as such she becomes exhausted from doing it for too long and controlling more than four is an almost impossible task due to her weak body.

Nature magic: She has the ability to manipulate and create nature, but only when in almost, or rather direct contact with the earth itself, leading to her rather odd habit of walking around bare foot, she loves nature and plants in particular, having a particular talent when it comes to making flowers sprout randomly from the ground.

Curse: Due to her- 'condition' she has studied endlessly for a cure to it, in the path of such she has managed to gain quite the knack for it herself, never going beyond giving someone one that causes them to sneeze randomly or feel colder than usual.

Light Magic: She has the ability to create small sparks of light in her hand, even being able to blind others with her light when needed, -though it occasionally backfires and can temporarily do so to herself instead or as well- it isn't something she's mastered as of yet but it can give her quite literally a soft glow about her appearance wise, only further highlighting her snow white hair and cat-like green eyes.

Lolovivi is not so much a shy person as she is nervous. At heart she are a being who carries a large heart, putting their trust into those that gain a bond with them and shares as much love and kindness and charity with the natural world and it's social inhabitants. However, because of events in their past, Lolovivi is always alert and ready to fight or flee from a situation in order of their own safety or the safety of their closer friends. Aside from their kindness and caution, Lolovivi also gets excited about their passions and is more than willing to talk about them for hours on end. And finally, Lolovivi likes to read and believes that every book can lead to a new adventure.

HISTORY: (1+ PARAGRAPH)
Years ago, Lolovivi was born into a small tribe of centaurs that lived in the deepest roots of the forests. As a fawn, she grew up learning about the beauty and the true essence of the world and the natural and organic forces it contained. she lived in a culture that was able to advance by taking from nature, but learned to evolve by paying back to the same gifted forces. Primarily, Lolovivi's mother taught her the ways of the land and how to gain a connection to the life force of the world. Whereas their father showed her how to protect herself and showed her what it meant to be gifted with four legs versus two. Yet a few days after Lolovivi reached adulthood, calamity struck her tribe. Lolovivi had been out on a gathering mission only to return to a vacated tribe ground and after searching hours upon hours, found the remains of their tribesmen close to the outskirts that reached the human world. Without teacher nor home, Lolovivi found herself finding refuge in the Dark Forest Academy. For two years she has lived as a student and are more than excited to begin their third.

PERSONALITY:

As a Genasi, Kachina is naturally charismatic and knows a way with her words. Conversation starters are easy game for her, however she is also a bit gullible and doesn't always interpret things the way that others may mean. Which, coming from making a wish standpoint, can be a bit hectic.


Kachina is also an optimistic soul, those who have met her can attest that she takes each step with a skip and always sees the good in people no matter who they may be or what origin they come from. In return, Kachina strives to be kind to those around her. Yet she also likes to make a couple jokes here and there.


Finally, however she may present herself, Kachina is still a form of Genie. This means that if she ever is in service of another, she must agree and behave in a manner that suits the bearer of her bottle.



HISTORY:

Created from the natural waves and flow of magic, Kachina's core came into existence in the disguise of a beautiful diamond; the same core given to all powerful genie known as the Genasi. For many years Kachina's core remained dormant inside a jeweled bottle, the arcane energies slowing building what would become her body. On her core's 83rd creation day Kachina's physical form finally came to existence. It was then she was given the name Kachina The One Yet to be Named. A name bestowed upon her by the council of Genasi, a group of Genasi each given a title that rings through service and history, and to her what humans or mortals would refer to as parents.

Now, 17 years later, Kachina finds her path leading her to the Dark Forest Academy with hope of learning to master her abilities and one day join the council of Genasi with a title of her own.

Peronality

A child at heart, Uerendi is possessed of an insatiable curiosity and unparalleled optimism. He is surprisingly naïve about real world occurrences and exceedingly trusting, though he will never fall for the same trick twice. Isolated by his origin and astronomical abilities, but determined to not be alone, Uerendi is an ambivert and prefers to be surrounded by true, few, friends instead of masses of passing acquaintances. He has severe abandonment issues and will go to any length to avoid being left alone. Contrary to what one would believe, Uerendi is rarely angry, anxious, violent, or generally moody; these traits are revealed when Uerendi is faced the possibility of perceived abandonment.
History

Several hundred years ago, a lonely farmer who had lost his family to illness. Sinking into the depths of absolute despair, the farmer prayed to his gods for a way to end his suffering. His prayers became wishes to any who would listen, and eventually landed upon the ear of a distant, and dying star. Knowing its death was imminent, and seeking to prolong the light it shed into the darkness, the star allowed the farmer’s wish into its core. The star he wished on blazed through the cosmos, fell from the sky, and landed softly in his hands, becoming a darling baby boy.

As the boy grew, his father loved him more and more, but the boy swiftly grew ethereal in his beauty and people believed he was a ploy by malevolent entities to corrupt the village. To protect his son who he loved beyond all reasoning, from the villagers’ unrelenting ire, the farmer wished for him to be taken away. A passing comet obliged his wish and took the child with it. This put the boy into a stasis until the comet passed by our world again 8 years ago.

Now 17, Uerendi has spent his years jostled from place to place at the mercies of various orphanages and foster parents. He was instantly desired by any potential parents that saw him, but a plethora of… “mishaps” always led him back to the system. A chance encounter with a witch, and another “mishap” led to his transfer to DFA, and his custody being thankfully turned over to Morgana Thorne. Maybe she’ll have better luck containing the poor angel of misfortune, and his ever-present glow.
Powers and Abilities


  • Uerendi is constantly exuding his own gravitational field, which makes him move more freely, but carry more mass than his frame would suggest. He always glides instead of falling unless he makes a conscious effort. He can levitate for short periods of time. His field can affect small to mid-size objects near him, causing them to orbit his person, like planets in a solar system. The field only ever attract objects, apart from his levitation.

NAME: "I-I'm Kynthia! It means Moon... I had another one, but it doesn't fit..." Often called Kyni

AGE: Kynthia appears around twelve, and behaves that way, but she's actually around six years older.

SPECIES: Vampire (Turned/Cursed)

GENDER: Female

YEARS AT DFA: Just Starting (1)

PERSONALITY:
Kynthia can be rather confusing in her way of doing things. She tends to ramble on about nothing just to talk. Her favorite things to discuss are the merits of mangoes, pickles, and of course deer(Alive though). She never talks about humans though, deciding they don't make good topics for her or anyone around her. Other than her odd talking habits, Kyni is usually very very hyper. She might take a long pause between phrases, but during those phrases she's very quick and rapid fire. It makes it hard to understand what she's saying most of the time but the emotion is certainly there.

While she really seems skittish and quite unreasonable (Which she it), but Kynthia also tends to be pretty caring. If running away clearly makes someone upset, she'll come back about half the time. That running is precaution no matter what, so unless she has suspicion she'll come back. She also refuses to hurt animals. Especially the reptiles.

Aside from these other things, Kyni has a severe aggressive problem when she smells certain things. It's not that she can't control herself, just that she does it. She wants to change sometimes, but doesn't care too at the same moment.



HISTORY:
Kynthia was born as Alala. She was born to someone who basically hated everything, including her. Sort of. While Alala wasn't harmed physically, her mother had some very strange habits about her. Think mood flips constantly with shifting opinions on her only child. Sometimes Carla loved Alala, praising her for what Carla saw as a bloodthirsty beast. Other times she'd scream at the girl for not living up to any of Carla's dreams. See, her mother wanted her to be supernatural. She wanted her to be a werewolf or vampire or even a witch. She wanted her daughter to be special and to make her special.

So that was a bit freaky for Alala, who was named after a battle cry. She was placed in areas where her mother tried to bribe anyone to make her daughter different. Carla despised her daughter being human, mostly because she herself wanted Alala to make her not human. It got bad when Carla spent the whole family fortune to make them vampires. Alala was turned at age 12, but her mother was instead sucked dry. Again, very dark as the man took Alala hostage. She tries to block out his memory.

For the first several months she had intense cravings for typical vampire things. Blood. She even attacked two people and nearly killed them for food. It isn't good memories. Beatings, being starved, mental torture. The man was tight locked about her life. He did terrible things to her, but he also broke her mind mostly beyond repair. He told her she was a murderer. He made her believe that she had killed her own mother. She was lead to believe that she was supposed to be this way. She went with her new 'father' on human huntings. Nothing seemed wrong during the time, she assumed it was okay since he told her it was.

After five years of being held, originally against her will and then with her will, there was a visitor. It was a werewolf that her father had brought in for negotiation. It got ugly quickly, and Alala jumped into the fight to try and pry the man off her dad. The man looked shocked to see a small girl trying to attack her.

He didn't hurt the child, but he did kill the girl's 'father'. Alala was a sobbing mess as the man dragged her from the house. He still didn't hurt her, instead trying to calm her down. His name was Cody, and he was a little over twenty. Cody said he had to do it, and that her father was a terrible person. That her 'father' had done terrible things to her. Cody kept her in a safe house for several months, coming in to try and talk to her every day. Alala couldn't understand what he was doing, or why he had brought her here if not to kill her. She met lots of other creatures, and they cooed over her even if she tried to bite them. It was confusing to her, and she began to see that there had been something very wrong with the way that man/ her 'father had treated her before he was killed.

Alala calmed down greatly and let go of most aggression she had. Instead she became very twitchy and nervous as she feared what might come back. Her new name was suggested by Cody, and she took it. She didn't want to let go of her new self or any of her new caretakers. However, they couldn't take care of the girl forever.

They sent Kynthia to DFA, promising she'd be fine there. Kyni hated them for a while after they broke the news. However much they tried, Kynthia refused to go. This went on until they finally gave her something to call her own. There was a little set of needles and a basket of sheets of fabric, along with a weighted Elephant plush that she could carry with her. Kyni loved them and finally agreed as long as they promised to write letters.



POWERS/ ABILITIES:
-Enhanced strength: Her body is much stronger than the average human, able to withstand further falls and more damage. It's harder for her to hurt herself in minor ways (Papercuts) due to her stronger skin. It's also difficult for her to break bones (Still happens!)
-Can curse others: She can bite someone and turn them if she wishes. If not, the bite would either be to feed or just a bite like one a human would give... Just with fangs instead.

- HISTORY

Subaru wasn't born a normal child. He showed signs of being a gifted at age two, his parents didn't know until they saw him playing with balls of light, giggling at the prettiness of them. Shocked and disgusted that their child was one of the freakish kids that had started appearing the past few years. They sent him off to a lab that his father had ties with.

From then, Subaru had no childhood. His life was filled with experiments, needles and pain. He was found to be a strong subject that the scientists could use for whatever they pleased. It wasn't like he was alone however, a scientist named Keiran Greystone became much like a father to Subaru and he even took on his last name. Keiran was the only one that treated Subaru like a fellow human than just a lowly lab rat. He would read him stories, bring him toys and even convinced the scientists to allow him his own room.

The lab was all Subaru knew, it was all he could remember. For all he understood he was born there. It was when Subaru was ten, did the true intentions of the scientists come forth. He would become the first human to become a living angel. The leader of the lab wanted to become a master of life and death, he decided Subaru would become humanity's salvation.

Tests went well and soon the new angel found himself undergoing new transformations. He grew wings and long white hair. His left eye was a curious thing, instead of a pupil there was a circle and four small triangle on each side of the circle. They sound found out what it was for. When Subaru "awakened" to full power, he was destructive and his intent was to "Save" all humans. For this side knew they had sinned, he started to believe all humans were sinners and needed to be punished. However, when he returned to normal he was completely different. Keiran knew that Subaru shouldn't be allowed to enter such a state anymore.

So he fought against it and they all agreed that they wouldn't allow that to happen again. Though it was inevitable, when Keiran was caught by the lead scientist trying to hinder process. No mercy was given when Keiran's boss murdered him in cold blood, right in front of Subaru. Subaru became enraged and he awoke, and proceeded to kill all in the lab, including the leader. Promptly he passed out. It was now known that Subaru changes forms in dire crisis or when his emotions go haywire. In this case it was the witness of watching his father die.

Subaru was thirteen when he got a letter to go to Dark Forest Academy. He didn't know how he received a letter, no one but him existed at the lab, he figured it had to do with the magic the letter mentioned. Not having much other than the clothes on his back and a teddy bear Keiran gave him, he tested his new found wings and arrived at the Academy.

He has been there for 3 years and found himself happier than he has ever been in life. He found nature to be a passion and he can often be found by the garden at the school.

PERSONALITY

Subaru is a gentle soul, kindly and caring to anyone. A serene smile never leaves his face, he finds peace in life even if things around are not peaceful. He would not hesitate to help someone in need if they are in trouble. He lives by the saying "Do to others what you would do yourself.". This doesn't mean he allows himself to be pushed around and taken advantage of. His kind persona can shatter at any time and you can find yourself being before a vengeful angel. Manipulation, greed and people who use others are the types he hates the most. Small in stature does not mean weak, he will defend others and himself if needed.

It has been awhile since he last awoke, but when he does he becomes a different person. He becomes serious and believes that the humans need to be saved from damnation and be punished for their sins. He is prone to going berserk and is struggling with himself, making him vulnerable. He doesn't think twice about killing something in this form if he believes its for the greater good. He's unpredictable and has been ordered special classes to control it.

AGE: Not exactly clear, but she may be over a thousand years old. She gives off the appearance of being 17.
SPECIES: Great Old One, but she pretends to be an octopus spirit.

YEARS AT DFA: First Year student
PERSONALITY: Cthylla is a rather curious soul, but is also timid and afraid. Her powers as a Great Old One are proving difficult for her to understand, and having gained human emotions and feelings, she would prefer not to embrace them. She wishes to learn more about humanity, and what it means to be human, while also comprehending just what she is, and what she wants to be. Her new found love for humanity is something which confuses her a lot, but she values them for their determination, their creativity, for being so fascinating, unlike the Great Old Ones.
HISTORY: Cthylla is the secret daughter of Cthulhu, however, very recently, she has gained an identity of her own. See, she found herself wondering what a human is, and when she ensnared one and tried to probe his mind, she ended up taking in a lot more than she had wanted to. She has no idea what happened, only that she changed that day. She found most of her powers as a Great Old One were sealed to her, much to her new found confusion. In the end, she developed human emotions, and this lead her to realise that she didn't want to be a part of her father's plans. So, she fled, trying to hide from her father and other Eldtrich beings. She had a run in with the Black Pharaoh, Nyarlathotep, and barely escaped him, developing a crushing fear of that monster. She decided to enroll at a school for the supernatural, somewhere she could learn and be safe, and came upon Dark Forest. She decided she liked it, and wanted to attend.
POWERS/ ABILITIES:
  • Shapeshifting: As the daughter of Cthulhu, Cthylla can shapeshift into a variety of forms. Her true form is a red octopus with six eyes and bat wings, but currently, she prefers a human appearance, while having red octopus tentacles in her hair. Often, she can summon tentacles from her back, and has made a habit out of it.
  • Dream walking: She is able to travel into the dreams of others, and communicate with them if possible.
  • Dream Madness: Related to the above, she can also drive people mad through their dreams, though this depends on the will power of the person. She is learning how to extend this beyond simple dreams, but isn't sure if she wants to.
  • Magic: Kinda natural for her, as a Great Old One.
  • Water Manipulation: She is really good at it.
  • Telekinesis & Telepathy: She has these powers, but they are pretty weak. She can't lift anything bigger than a few dozens books, and can only pick up snippets of a persons thoughts.

However, he is very loyal to his friends, and will do whatever he can to protect them. Once he forms a bond with someone, he will stick by them at all times, and help them with whatever they need. Usually, he can be described as a lovable puppy dog, but when angered, he is like a monstrous bear. Oh yeah, he also tends to be a very strong environmentalist.
HISTORY: The forests of North America are a mystical and enchanted place. Vast and powerful spirits live there, thrive there. Among the many is the King of the Beasts, the one who rules over the forests of Cascadia, and beyond. And one day, he fell in love with a human woman. Her name was Fiona Forrester. She is one who was in tune with nature, and cares very deeply for it, with the blood of the great chiefs of old running through her veins. And so they bore a son: Adam. Adam grew to be a fine boy, strong, compassionate, and very fun loving. When he reached the age when he was on the cusp of manhood, his father elected to have him sent to Dark Forest, for a proper education.
POWERS/ ABILITIES:
  • Prince of the Beasts: Thanks to having the blood of an ancient beast god-king, Adam has some impressive powers. He can manifest monstrous strength and speed, transform himself into a beast, with varying stages of transformation, heal from wounds, and communicate, as well as command, the beasts of the earth. However, like all things, there is a limit to his powers, and if he were to be pushed hard enough, he would break.

  • Weapons of The People: He is skilled with bows, tomahawks, and spears.

History

Lux had a pretty normal childhood, relatively speaking. She grew up near the side of a snow-capped mountain somewhere in Colorado and often played in the forest there. She wore her Kitsune ball around her neck on a necklace. Being able to hide her ears and tails after 100 years, she went to public school for a while (looking fairly young still) until people started questioning the marks on her face and the weird necklace. Many of her peers and classmates teased her for it, but Lux kept her cool composure. It wasn't until late high school that she really showed any signs of anger or aggression. After several taunts and teasings, Lux had become so angry that she attempted to choke the boys with their own shadows. Her parents pulled her out of school that day. With both her parents being pure blooded Kitsunes, it was only natural that Lux would be, too. However, one of her parents was a spirit Kitsune and the other was a void (or shadow) Kitsune. It would appear that Lux is a void Kitsune, but there were was other indications that the two types mixed with the void being more dominant. After a few more years of home schooling and roughly 200 years of basic training by her parents, it was time Lux be off to Dark Forest Academy.

Personality

Lux is rather hard to get to know. Lux portrays herself as independent and strong, often taking charge of any situation as it comes. She always tries to do the right thing as perceived in her mind and isn't scared of the risks that may come with it. Sure, she's a bit of risk-taker, and she has the mouth to go with it. She will happily give someone the blunt truth of a situation and is downright feisty. She tends to speak with more attitude, giving her the image of not caring when she actually does. She doesn't waste her time with people who aren't worthy of it and generally grabs every opportunity by the horns. Lux is graceful and lithe in just about everything but often keeps a cool composure. She lives by her own code and refuses to bend to the will of anyone else. On the inside, however, she is probably the sweetest and kind person alive, but it takes awhile to crack open that hard shell of hers. She keeps any promise someone makes with her and strive to repay favors, but if someone was to break a promise, they better watch out.

Powers/Abilities

Shadow Manipulation
  • Ability to control any shadow at will. Ex: If Lux wants to choke a target, the target's throat will start to close and will feel the pressure of an unknown force grabbing his neck, but if you look at his shadow you will see he is doing it to himself without realizing it.
  • Can slip into shadows and disappear. Almost like a teleporting, but it only works with shadows.
Foxfire
  • Ability to generate fire from tails and mouth.
  • Breath fire to an extent
  • Can also make small 'fox lanterns', by producing small balls of fire to float around them, and guide their way.
Shape-shifting
  • ability to shift into anything from nature. Making her a pro to hide and seek.
  • ability to shift into a normal fox, a normal mortal, a mix between the two, and a full Kitsune.
  • She often looks like a human with fox ears. Rarely, does let her tails be seen.
Possession
  • Ability to possess a target for a period of time.
  • After the possession, the target will have no recollection of what happened.
  • She normally does this with a willing target for training purposes.
  • Unwilling targets will normally have their wills' drained and therefore become insane.
Kitsune Seduction
  • A form of mind control, the kitsune ability of 'seduction' is one of the most commonly-mentioned skills in legends. By using their tail or tails in a swaying manner, or by meeting the gaze of a target, the kitsune is capable of taking over their mind. While under the control of the kitsune, the victim sees, thinks, and lives in a world designed by the kitsune, all inside the target's mind. The target is controlled until someone breaks the magic the kitsune's using. This mind control is purely by magic, mind you, and can be broken by certain magics, or wards.
Spirit Manipulation
  • This is the manipulation of the spirit world, demons, and other creatures. Magic of this nature does not work on mortals well since mortals have SOULS, not spirits. As such, kitsune have to wait for someone to die, before this sort of magic will affect someone well. With this, a kitsune can bind, summon, banish, ward or trap a spirit.
  • Lux can only control this to an extent. She is currently learning how to control this side of her.
Immortality
  • obviously.
  • However, she can be killed by a dragon or Oni.

History

Amaria's childhood is something to be remembered, whether it be for better or for worse. Her mother, a pureblooded unicorn, happened to fall in love with one of the water spirits called a Kelpie. Amaria was born shortly thereafter, with a grayed dapple coat and a dark green mess of hair. Delighted yet weak, her mother brought her back to the herd, leaving the spring and the Kelpie behind. Being the gray color she was, Amaria didn't quite fit in with the other fillies and colts around her. For years, they all teased her, calling her names like "Impure" and "Trashweed." She would often sneak away and find solitude within the springs nearby. It was there she discovered she could shift into a human form, though it was painful. Amaria ran, though stumbling and falling a bit a first to show the others, but they all ran away from her, frightened by her human appearance. Everyone, including her own mother. Deeply saddened, she raced back to her only refuge: the springs. However, seeing as she had no place to go, she wandered through the forest, cold and naked for she was unsure of how to turn back into her unicorn form. She found a house in the middle of the forest near a quiet river and knocked on the door. A kind older gentlemen opened from the otherside. Amaris stared at his golden eyes, feeling a bit of deja vu. She waved it off as he offered to let her come inside. That morning, the older man sat her down and asked her a couple of personal questions: who she was, how old are you, do you know where you are going... those things. Amaris answered as quickly as he asked them. He asked about her mother and father. Amaris spoke the truth; she hadn't seen her father for years now, only for a couple of minutes after she was born. As for her mother, well, she didn't feel like a mother to her anymore. The man and she talked for hours until he finally told her the best news she could ever hear: I am your father. They grew pretty close after that. He taught her how to shift forms, breathe underwater, even control a bit of water. He sent her off to DFA, hoping she would learn more from the teachers there.

Personality

Amaria is a firecracker. She is ambitious, optimistic, and outgoing. She can be quite headstrong at times and too giving at others, often making gifts for her friends. Amaria can always seem to find trouble, enjoying pulling a prank or two. She is free spirited in that sort of way, enjoying what's in the present. She is very loyal to those who she finds worthy and can be a little judgemental of others.If you happen to break her trust, she will be out for blood. She's very passionate in her extracurriculars and when it comes to the water. She can be a bit sensitive, meaning she can't take criticism, but she can definitely dish it out. At times, Amaria can be blunt and callous towards others, not always meaning to. She is normally shy when you first meet her, but warms up rather quickly, always trusting too quickly.

  • being born from two immortal beings, she aged normally until she reached the ripe old age of 20 and then her features just permanently stayed. However, silver and crosses can severely injure her if not kill her.
