Year 2022. God's perfect world has grown and changed to something entirely imperfect. Global warming and pollution ravages the beautiful flora he crafted from his eyes. Overhunting and poaching efforts drove animals made from his limbs into extinction. And the wonderful humans -painstakingly shaped from his blood and tears- have become a sinful race of greed and hatred. The tensions between perfection and imperfection has not lessened, Angels -under the will of God- and Devils -under command of Satan- both fighting on the human plane in a will to protect territory and ideals. Angels fight for the pure holy souls that still remain and Devils fight to protect the tainted broken humans. It has evolved into a war hidden among the humans (and other magical creatures that evolved over time). Only now the Devils are falling behind, numbers decreasing more and more with each battle as the rumor of Satan having disappeared circulates around. In a cocky attempt, Archangel Michael lead a battalion to destroy a weakened Devils hideout, believing that it would be an easy win but he was proven wrong when they came to the hideout expecting a large group of lesser demons. Only to be surprised by the Archdemon Leviathan himself. The cherub angels didn't stand a chance and when it came down to it, Michael was no match either and this is where our story begins.

You are the Archangel Michael, leader of the Angels, the angel of war and banisher of evils. You believed that it was advantageous to take the offense and remove some lowly devils to further weaken Satan's army but you were cocky and arrogant thus you missed the signs. Leviathan was waiting for you and your squadron; he made it a bloodbath, forcing you to watch angels you were meant to be in charge of be brutally slaughtered. You fought the Archdemon of Envy and it was a close battle but in the end, you had your wings broken and were unable to continue. Leviathan knew Satan would much rather keep you than kill you so quickly, intending to bring you to him but he receives a message: Satan has gone missing. Leviathan knew as the only Archdemon that actively lived with humans it would be his job to investigate where Satan is. He decides to enlist force you to help him look for Satan. Along the way, the origins of the creators they are serving start to come to light and the goals they think they are fighting for might be entirely wrong. Michael ,at first, wants nothing to do with him and resists but going along, he is becoming intrigued by why Leviathan didn't outright kill him and his intentions for Michael. Leviathan, on the other hand, is growing fond of his little "birdy" captive and starts to doubt his orders. Neither can see the chains holding them down.

NAME. His true name is Leviathan which he is referred to as by Angels and Devils alike but to humans, his name is Levi (leh-vee).
AGE / DATE OF BIRTH. Unknown (little over 200,000) / Unknown
TITLES / NICKNAMES. "The Image of Satan", "Sea Serpent" or "King of the Seas" / Prefers being called Lev or Levi.
GENDER / SEX. Masculine / Genderless Serpent
FORMS. Two; a small human form that can acquire sea serpent traits based on his physical and mental state while his most pure form is that akin to a sea dragon
PERSONALITY. An obsessive maniac known to resort to violence and underhanded tricks to get his way, Leviathan has always been the odd one out of the Archdemons; his loyalty to Satan is thin -at best- and nonexistent -at worst. Whether it is his extreme desire for the power his creator wields or the restriction placed on his powers as punishment, the answer is not clear. He likes to bend the rules as much as possible, seeing them as "made to be broken" or creating his own that better suit his wants. While he may follow orders well enough to seem obedient, Levi has been known to flake out on those as well. The idea of him being submissive to those in power angers him. Personally, he doesn't have a personnel vendetta against angels but he does not like what they stand for, thinking they are bird-brained creatures that follow a dead God and would rather rip there wings out happily. For fun. Everything he does in life is because he find amusement in it, something he does not get often as a semi-immortal being. His cynicism is not pleasant to deal with and when he wants something, he does whatever possible to attain it. A necklace, stolen. A building, burned down. A person, manipulated. Whatever he wants, Levi thinks it belongs to him. On the mortal plane, humans (and snakes) gravitate towards him for his high energy, spontaneous nature and general sex appeal; he indulges humans, aligning himself more with how they think and act than he does with devils. Despite his almost childish nature, be wary of his intelligence and cunning. Someone as old and battle-scarred as himself has many tricks up his sleeve and is level-headed enough to adapt to various situations. Trying to understand what he is thinking is nearly impossible and has rare moments of calm and quiet contemplation where he seems the more human than he does Archdemon.

Makeup is just another form of art to him so don't be surprised if you look him in the eye and notice kohl smudged attractively on his smoked out eyelids. His nails are often always painted in ebony or crimson or even glittery emerald.
