Diane Matthews
Nicknames: Junkyard Jane
Age: 15 (16 very soon)
Grade: 11th / Junior
Clique: Indie - the Indie’s indie if ever there was one.
Height 5’6”
Hair: Black
Eyes: Blue (very intense)
Clothes: Has a tendency to go with jeans, or blue jeans looking blues like the shirt above. Also has a brown leather jacket for cooler weather, and a jean jacket.
Jewelry and Tattoos: None
Scars: Covered with them. Mostly small ones that will fade over the next year that she uses makeup to cover. Looks like she might have tried to kill herself by slitting her wrists - straight across and jagged.
Someone apparently broke into the head cheerleader’s fancy car and poured skunk scent all over the interior. Poor thing, she couldn’t use it to go on a date with her wrapped around her finger on and off boyfriend after his football game now. Not saying she had anything to do with it... But the cheerleader’s boyfriend got detention for filling her guitar case with very smelly garbage - probably at the head cheerleader’s coaxing. The whole skunk scent thing was probably an act of revenge.
General:
Quiet unless she has been triggered by a dislike
Workaholic mentality (this includes homework)
She avoids social media for the most part, though she can't completely avoid it given her blogging. She's a bit of a hippie / treehugger. She is not in the slightest bit squeamish about gutting a fish ... and laughed herself silly watching an episode of TBBT where Penny is teaching how to bait a hook and gut fish to the boys.
Likes:
Health nut (won’t drink sodas, eat junk food)
Jogging
Rock Climbing
Swimming
Computers (building and coding)
Recycling
Digital photography and video

Dislikes:
SJW’s
Cyberbullies
Bullies in general
Gangs
Drugs, smoking, alcohol
Quirks:
Thinks Vegans are silly. (“Pass me the A1.”)
OCD (not extremely so. She’s not like Sheldon from TBBT. But her books are arranged on shelves by subject, alphabetized. When she buys groceries she organizes everything in neat rows and in set numbers - like 4 of everything. If bored she’ll start organizing everyone else’s stuff.)
Writes in calligraphy. Sometimes uses words that most people have to look up in dictionaries.
Phobias
Demophobia, mild
Arachnophobia
Diane came from a large military family - or rather was adopted into one as a stepchild. By default, large meant poor. After all, the government didn’t issue families. On their fixed income, while dealing with medical issues and the costs of constantly moving from base to base, life was tough. One had to learn to adapt to survive. It didn’t help that her mother was little better than trailer trash. It didn’t help that her stepbrother and stepsister were into everything their father forbade - gangs, drugs. He assumed she was too.
Last summer her stepbrother and stepsister were both killed by a rival gang. At least that was the rumor. The same gang broke into her home and killed her mother and two younger half brothers. She ran and barely got out alive. Her father was on tour overseas at the time and never made it home.
She lives next door to a salvage yard with foster parents. At least that was the rumor. She showed up on the first day of school being dropped off by her foster father in his company truck. By the end of the day there were pics plaster all over and nicknaming her Junkyard jane.
Diane retaliated by starting a comic book line named Junkyard Jane with her own face used for the heroine. She also started a recycling campaign - and was seeking approval from Marvel to use She Hulk in her comic book line with the proceeds going to fund recycling efforts and research. She did get permission to promote recycling via media other than a published campaign though.
In one of her books, or even her comics. Or .. maybe waking up in a bed suited to a Princess. The American southwest. The Gulf of Mexico. Yosemite Park. Gila Cliff Dwellings, Pamukkale, Smithsonian...
Note: Diane suffers from two mixed blessings: Acute Hyperthymesia and Hypersenses. The literally can't forget anything she experiences. And all five of her senses are at the peak of human abilities, to the point that she wears sunglasses and earplugs to cope.
Diane abounds with creative talent. She is also a very talented hacker, though she doesn’t like to abuse her skills. She customized her own laptop and can build her own motherboard from scraps. She has an eidetic memory and speed reads. Her vision is 20/10. She has perfect pitch. She got her GED about 2 years ago, but never told her parents. She didn’t feel ready to face the adult world - and her stepfather would have used it as an excuse to make her life more of a living hell.
She is a self-published author (fantasy and science fantasy - under a penname)
She is a professional blogger (writing, music, art, naturalist training)
Vlogging (linked to her Blogging - music) she never appears in her own videos
Graphic artist - especially computer fantasy art
Music is just a passion, not something she plans on for a career
Guitarist (started when she was 12)
Keyboard (started at 13)
Singer (started training at 14)
Amateur Naturalist (her best terrains are what you’d find in the Southwest USA, though she also learned a bit in Florida, Alabama and Georgia)
Amateur Lapidary (mostly works in metals like precious metals)
Languages: (Polyglot: She learns new languages FAST)

Middle Irish (dead language, so speaking really isn’t accurate)
Manx and Scottish Gaelic

Lots of computer languages
Stuff she sucks at:
Trig and Calculus. (She is great with statistics and boolean algebra - math for computer logic.)

Name - Elliot Nathan Creed
Nicknames: Eli
Age: 16
Grade: 11th
Clique: Indie
Appearance: Elliot has dark hair, uncombed, to his mother's everyday chagrin. His eyes are a blueish dark hue, and his wardrobe is mostly consisted of Star Wars jackets and plain shirts.
Mr. Creed was caught in the Elementary's science laboratory with an active lighter, presumably with an intent to burn his own backpack. Suspension and expulsion was considered, but after he provided a suitable enough alibi (he was returning it to the lab's lost-and-found after finding it unattended on the floor. Then, he accidentally switched it on after setting his backpack down to write a note pertaining to said lighter. Further investigation into the matter and true intent will resume after the disciplinary actions required are finished.) he was ruled to the light punishment of detention.
Elliot is quiet, wandering through fantastical ideas that would be right at home between the pages of a dog-eared book or shown in a cinema. His mind is detail-oriented, to the point where he could spend hours debating on what shade of blue he should use for a corner of his painting. However, he can be overly analytical and judgmental, losing him friends and time, all wasted on putting meaning into simple actions. He could turn his brother's breathing into a point for an argument.
However, he is good at listening and takes criticism well, unlike the rest of his family. He can sound callous and insensitive, though it's probably in retaliation for another accidental breath.
Elliot was raised in an extremely religious family, going to Church every Sunday with his elder (by one year, he'd remind the boy whenever he got too cocky about it) brother Isaac, his father Josiah, and his mother Elizabeth. They were the supposed golden boys of the family, being the oldest and successful in their own fields. Isaac was a scientist with ambitions greater than Bill Gates, and Elliot was considered Van Gogh reborn. That didn't really mean much, since they couldn't tell Vincent from Salvador, but the sentiment was there.
Elizabeth and Josiah's relationship was a bit rocky, and their sons knew it. They knew about the fights. They knew about the counseling. They knew everything. The thing was, their parents didn't know it. His extended family visited quite a lot, though for most of those visits Elliot and Isaac stayed in their rooms to paint, read, discuss theories on aliens, anything but talk, really. It didn't matter so much, Josiah could keep them occupied for a day just by talking about their poodle.
He grew up thinking that if he pleased his parents, then pleasing the world had already been done. The problem was, he couldn't please his parents by his very nature, his alleged agenda, a story he already regretted sharing before he could legally run away.
Elliot would best love spending his time in an uninhabited park, with tall trees and nobody else but squirrels and singing robins. Somewhere with a rising sun, with no clouds or rain to disturb the view. There would be a few benches, each smelling of fresh paint. A lake, even, with ducks and flowers floating around. And, as cheesy and cliche he knew it was, a rainbow. His family would tell him every time there was a rainbow, that God's promise to never destroy the world would be kept, and even though Elliot isn't sure he believes in God, it's nice to know at least one person wouldn't want to demolish his life until there was nothing but a pile of ashes and rubble.

Name: Pia Navarro
Age: 15
Grade: Sophomore
Clique: Art kids/Drifters
Appearance: Pia cowers beneath the average student population at a mere 4’8. She’s a bit chubby
and has a rather unathletic build. Her wardrobe consists of mostly sun dresses and cardigans.
Pia was found with a juvenile possum in Western History, which falls under dangerous and disruptive materials. Claimed she found the animal on her way to school and refused to set it free when asked. Her guardians have been notified and further discipline is required after she completes detention. Possum has been detained by animal control.
Pia is an odd girl who’s head seems to always be in the clouds. Whether it’s her poor understanding of the English language or just being an airhead, she’s slow to understanding things/coming to logical conclusions. She has a hard time relating to her peers and consequently spends most of her time alone, drawing or just daydreaming. She’s a natural artist who sees the world a little differently than others, through rose colored glasses that give everything its own unique beauty, no matter what it is. She’s superstitious and believes in ghosts and aliens without question, and is slow to doubt any folklore or legends she happens to hear about. She seems to have a bit of a childish view of the world; things like dating, school and her future career concern her about as much as what she’s going to have for dinner tomorrow. Might have ADHD.
Pia was born to her father Ivan and mother Marie living in a tiny village in rural Chile. The most advanced technology she grew up with was a radio and a modern toilet; most of her time was spent on nearby farms, caring for animals and crops in exchange for extra food for her family. She knew that her family was poor, but as long as they had food and each other, she didn’t really care. She grew up an only child but was always surrounded by village children from other families; from an early age she found herself not relating to her peers, and spent most of her time on her own, which didn’t help her gain any necessary skills needed to socialize. She went to a small school a few miles away from home; in her freshman year of high school, her mother’s close friend, Monika, who had moved to America years before, returned to visit them. Upon seeing Pia’s artistic talent and the sorry state of her school, she offered Marie and Ivan the chance of a lifetime: she would take Pia to live with her in the US, where she could get a higher quality education and possibly a scholarship for her skill. They agreed almost immediately, before Pia could even form an opinion on the matter; the pair now live together in the US, in a house about 4x bigger than Pia’s previous dwelling.
At the current moment Pia would love to be back at her home village, sitting in the sun while working on an oil painting. Everybody she knew from her childhood would nod as they walked by, men and women carrying baskets full of crops and children running past, playing and laughing amongst themselves. The ever present distant bellowing of cows and nearby chickens clucking and strutting past, occasionally stopping by to inspect her then go on their way. Her mother would come out of the house with a bowl of cut fruit for them to enjoy together, and they would smile and sit with their eyes closed and nothing would go wrong again.
Her large sketchpad and multiple pencils of different colors
A small ‘emergency’ pack containing bandaids and cough drops.
A small pack of oreos
Her keys, containing a good luck charm, a chanchito (3 legged pig).
Appearance: Amy is rather short with her 5'1, but that doesn't make her any less scary. Her body is average, but espectailly in PE, you can see that she puts a lot of effort into being fit.
She usually wears trousers with a lot of bags, plain shirts or band tees and army boots, all black, of course.
After the history teacher asked her to quit drawing on her desk, she told her to go pull that stick out of her ass. Since this happens regularly, there was no other discussion needed.
Well, it has to be said: Amy has a problem with authority figures. You try to give her an order, she will most likely come back at you with resistance. She is loud and antisocial, with a wicked sense of humor; but if she wants to, she can be the sweetest girl in the world (she doesn't care enough, most of the time). Most people are scared or in awe of her, some bully victims wished they were her.
When she is wronged, she has no problem with taking revenge to extremes, sometimes destroying things or threatening the person to a level that you would not expect from a high school girl.
It seems like she's not afraid of anything, always looking for that adrenaline rush, which often makes her part of dangerous, borderline illegal activities.
Not much is known about Amy's background, other than the fact that her Mom works for the FBI and her Dad is a mechanic who speaks bad English with an Arnold-Schwarzenegger-accent (he's usually the one who is called into school when Amy is in trouble).
The first year of highschool she had been quiet and observant, but she had made many friends in that time. After that, she had started to get more and more aggressive, developed a very dark sense of humor and started to care less and less about her reputation and her friends. It seemed like she was getting bored of being that perfect girl, so she changed her appearance, her haircut and her clothes.
Some say the change had something to do with her brother graduating after her first year of high school, but no one knows.
Amy would like to be somewhere dangerous. On top of a vulcano, inside a pyramid plastered with traps, climbing on Mount Everest, in the jungle with wild animals... Something like that.
- An army knife in her boot (shht, no one knows)
- Her new iPhone X
- Huge over-ear headphones
- Her wallet (which contains a photo of her and her brother)
- A lighter with a skull on it
Ian James Fleming
Nicknames: Goes by his middle name
Age: 16
Grade: 11
Clique: Jock, secretly Artist.
British Exchange Student (Not exactly true, but he isn’t correcting anyone)
Appearance
Height: 6’4”
Hair Color: Brown
Eye Color: Blue
Scars/ Other Facial details:
Body Type: Athletic, ripped
Attire: He could wear anything he wants, but he simply doesn’t care.
One problem with being an exchange student, tall, handsome, a bit of a rebel - every girl in school notices you whether you want them to or not. Supposedly it is the accent. Well, since coming to Model HS, the football team has been making all sorts of wins - all thanks to James. And the Coach takes every chance to point this out, while asking the rest of the team why they don’t do better. This hasn’t gone over very well with the team. They hate him.
So he got a little annoyed with them … and went to all of their lockers, and slid tampons into each one. Probably not his brightest move as his locker was the only one without a tampon left in it.. He just smirked and called the evidence 'circumstantial.’
Passive aggressive, suffers from abandonment issues. Couldn’t give a damn about money. Hates team sports and combat sports - though he has all the right skills. He’s a natural athlete. But he prefers any sport that he can do alone.

James is an A-B student, who could probably do better. He is a natural athlete, the sort usually picked first for a team. But ever since he became a teen he has been rebelling more and more.
His father forced him into sports and grew angry when James stopped trying. So he hired professional trainers and told them the boy had better win, or they could find a new job and not expect a glowing referral. James had a whole room full of trophies. For his first attempt at sculpture, he used the trophies to create a gigantic trophy/lego statue of a kid on a skateboard, gluing and welding as needed. Needless to say, his father was not amused.
He has been in and out of schools. Often getting in trouble for things like doing stunts on a skateboard - inside and on top of the schools. He took a lesson from the movie Middle School: Worst Years of My Life and post-it noted the entire campus overnight. It was rather impressive, considering the planning it took.
James may as well have been an orphan. He has spent more time in daycare, boarding schools or with nannies and butlers than with his parents. In fact, since he was 5, he has yet to have celebrated a birthday with his parents. Oh, that isn’t to say he never spent a birthday with them. They just forgot what day it was.
His official story? His parents died when he was 5 and he’s been raised like Bruce Wayne by his butler. Not true at all. He’s just hijacking the Batman origin story.
