The Year is 1912, The hidden war between Humans and Demons have been raging on for centuries. Yet the public nor the Government has acknowledged the presence or existence of the Demon Slaying Corps. The safety of mankind has been in the hands of the Demon Slaying Core since beginning of Demons. Centuries ago, when the very first demon named Muzan Kibutsuji began to turn against humans. Turning innocent people to man eating demons. His formation of the Twelve Demon Moons seperated by the Six upper Six Upper Moons and Six Lower Moons. As of now The Demon Slaying core has felt of a need to recruit more demon slayers and not just anyone. They're looking for those that can not only wield a sword but put their life on the line and put an end to the demonic chaos. Demon Slayers must uphold and show their strength through not only physical abilities but the courage and power in will when facing such enemies. Just as Demons are getting stronger, the humans must gain in equal power if not more. This is a time of need for new Demon Slayers to rise and become the New Sword that will face against Muzan and the Twelve Demon Moons.

In Order to face such strong opponents the Demon Slaying Corps created their own group of Elite Swords man knowns as the Hashiras or Pillars. They're made up of the strongest and best Demon Slayers that the Corps has to offer. Being able to work or even become acknowledged by such fierce warriors is what many demon slayers could only wish for. Then to become one is one of the greatest achievements a Demon Slayer can achieve. Many wish to learn and become a subordinate to train under such powerful warriors. The rise to becoming a pillar is not simple and only obtainable through harsh training, dedication, and possibly defeating one of the Twelve Demon Moons. As of now their mission is to find new Demon Slayers that are capable and worthy of joining the Corps. The Demon Slaying Corps setup an event called Final Selection that dictates and regulates swordsman interested in joining the Corps. Only those who can fight and srurvive through those harsh seven days, will they be able to call themselves Demon Slayers. Putting their lives at risk before even being able to have true experiences and hardships that they are destined to find themselves in. Although some may find the short end of their journey that can quickly end before they even know it....

The true Journey begins as the Swordsman picks up their sword and makes their first swing, the difficult training and hardships they go through as they prepare for the Final Selection. Years of repetitive training, they must put in the word and dedication to truly becoming the best they can be. Once they pass final selection they will be assigned a Kasugai Crow and simple missions to begin their journey as a Demon Slayer. Although the missions maybe simple or low risk demons, anything is possible and the risk of death is always there. Every Demon Slayer has one foot in the coffin, this is their life now. They must do the inevitable sometimes and kill those they truly love, since they abide by rules and laws. All Demons are to be laid to rest and exterminated by any means necessary, the question are they ready to do the inevitable?
