Some basic things you might need to know about how things work in the realm. Some of this stuff you may already know if you do know the game, just explaining it here as well for people who join the rp and potentially aren't as familiar

    • A few trials happen every 'day,' though the actual number can vary. Afterwards, survivors and killers both are given free time of sorts to do whatever until they start again. People just tend to have a feeling when trials are about to start -- some say the fog grows thicker and is drawn to those being chosen for them as well.
    • Given how things work in the game with certain killer powers, or how you have to hit someone twice to knock them down with any killer usually, that's not quite how things actually work here. I'd just say a killer would have to injure a survivor enough to down them and take them to a hook -- could be in one hit, could be multiple, really just depends on what weapon or whatever they're using.
    • Survivors still are placed on hooks around the map when they're injured enough/knocked down -- this is literally what it sounds like, basically a meat hook but for humans... unfortunately. If up there long enough without another survivor coming to rescue them, the Entity will take/kill them as a sacrifice.
    • The only time a killer can kill by hand and without sacrificing/hooking the survivor is if the Entity gives them permission -- or what we know as moris in the game. I like to think the Entity just tells them somehow, however it communicates with the killers normally. Probably more so in feelings and pictures than words. This is pretty rare though.
    • Whether survivors die or live, they're sent back to the campfire afterwards, which I described more in the other section. Memories are intact, unlike the actual lore as if I remember right in canon they don't remember anything after trials. Not the case here
    • Survivors can get items in chests around the trial grounds, just like in the game as well -- flashlights, medkits, whatever. Also like in the game, if you die you lose it, if you live you keep it. Entity logic, I don't know.
