Oh, they'd woken her. Oops. Mercy wasn't surprised when Ginny went to turn off the light. They could see fine without it. Plus, she was certain Ginny would complain if she started unpacking the blonde's things. Mercy knew it wasn't her business but she did of course notice how Skye immediately went to fix her laptop. Well, she'd have to figure that out and make sure this girl wasn't a threat to Ginny. "You don't seem like you're going to the bonfire tonight." She stated. There was probably no point in asking - Skye sounded tired as hell. Mercy felt her impatience getting the best of her. Ginny could complain if she wanted, Mercy decided as she leaned down to pick up a bag. "Where do you want this?"

Mercy knew that Ginny wouldn't immediately start an argument after just meeting her roommate. Ah, the traps of social conventions. There was a moment of quiet before she got a response. "...that stuff can go in the bottom drawer, please." And then Ginny went back to talking to Skye, so she was scot free. A smile tugged on her face. She'd won this one--ow. Mercy's eye twitched as Ginny gripped her shoulder. "Why don't you just let me help you, you dork." She muttered tersely, opening the bag and placing the clothes neatly in the drawer like Ginny asked. Ginny might be bound by social traps but Mercy?

    Mercy could care less.

Jinx laughed at Kitty's question. "I think she literally just got here, from another planet." She took another sip of her drink. "Plus, there are tons of aliens here. He won't stick out like a sore thumb. He's adorable, though." She watched as Lockheed had wrapped his wings around Kitty to protect her, even though he was so small. Well, big things tended to come in tiny packages, so Jinx chided herself mentally. Lockheed could cause some real chaos if he wanted. "Don't worry, dear. I just want to be friends with Kitty and you, if you'll let me." Jinx's smile grew a bit. She had no idea why, but the tiny dragon reminded her of Gizmo. While the boy pretended to be tough, as soon as Jinx was in trouble, he, like the rest of her team, came to the rescue.... Jinx realized she really did miss them. Damn.

"How are you doing otherwise? Enjoying the atmosphere?" Jinx gestured her cup at the bonfire, then at the blonde in armor who still had a crowd, but now had been approached by a brunette. See? Someone handled it. Jinx peered into her cup, realizing she was low. She pouted a bit. She'd have to fix that. Maybe Kitty wanted something too? "Also, would you like a drink? Virgin, of course." Jinx winked. She personally didn't wish to get too plastered, so she was keeping to virgin drinks herself.

T'Challa and his younger sister Shuri were currently taking a small tour around the campus of the university that they are going to attend from now on. Both T'Challa and Shuri are new students, and both are in a new environment and interesting land away from home, filled with nothing but curious wonder on how this university compares to other universities in Wakanda; academically wise of course. As they aimlessly stroll around the campus, trying to get familiar with their new surroundings, T'Challa could not help but question himself of what Shuri thinks about this school. The only way to know what she thought of this university that two were going to be attending from the point forward was to ask her herself.

"So," T'Challa begins to say with a cracking calm smile as he looked over to Shuri who was to his right, "how do you think of this place? I know, it's definitely not like home, but do you see yourself being comfortable here?" as he said those very last words, he would raise a questioning brow, waiting without impatience for her response. T'Challa wasn't just mindlessly curious about what Shuri thought of this school, but he wanted to know if she felt safe in this setting. He's her older brother, and it's his job to be protective of her younger sister after all.

Nina Thurman

Location Welcome Back Bonfire
Scenario So...many...people
With Manon ( nymphadora. nymphadora. )

Motioning out from her dorm's door the female took a few deep breaths, calming herself. Nerves were racing throughout her whole system as being an introduction herself was not something she excelled at. However, it was an assignment and she hoped and hoped that her subject would not be difficult to get along with. Her hand brushed it's way to the back of her jeans/top and felt the handle of her gun which she never left without. It was her armor. Since her blade would be rather obvious, her gun was hidden. It was partly the reason why she like to wear baggy clothing especially tops.

The sophmore decided to go with her breathing exercises. Those always helped. Yes. They always did. Where was Esme when she needed her. They sought comfort in one another. However given that she warned Esme beforehand about her assignment she might have already took up. "Okay Nina, it's up to you."

With that the female started walking, rather fast paced towards the area of event with a clipboard firmly grasped in her hand. She felt safe until she could feel the heat and fade light of the fire. She saw all the students enjoying themselves. Either getting wasted or having decent conversations. However, with crowds like these the prominent scent she was sensing was sweat in particular. The wafts were quite not pleasant. At the corner of her eye she spotted a familiar half haired color female who was conversing with yet another so Nina decided not to intrude and focus on her sole mission.

Step 1: Locate Target.
Step 2: Approach and Introduce yourself.
Step 3: Familiarise yourself a bit by means of communication.
Step 4: Show target around to accomplish mission.

Extra Bonus: Target becomes a friend.

Nina read through the objective that she prepared before hand. She needed to be a success in order not to fail. Herself.

Looking through her pages, her target was Manon Prince, a freshie. Obviously. She mentally scoffed at herself. The brunette shifted through the crowds and near the entrance, hoping someone familiar popped up. It didn't take that long before she spotted her. She noticed a very confused female, with a sword out in the open as if nothing was weird about that. It was just a casual thing. It was for Nina but not for any other. It's why her gun was always hidden. She could realize the not so ease situation she was in. However, that was why Nina was there.

Nina approached her very cautiously. Fearing target was harmful and also not to be underestimated. This was all hard-wired in her brain. She shook her head from the thoughts. Be normal for once Nina. Act normal. she thought to herself.

Approaching her from a safe distance she cleared her throat, "Hello there! Welcome to DC/Marvel University! Are you by any chance..." she took a quick glance at her clipboard and back to the girl, "...Manon Prince?"

The female awaited for a possible yes. She could hear the fun at the bonfire behind her and she hoped that things go simply well.

Ophelia Monroe

Location Welcome Back Bonfire
Scenario What is even going on?
With Jean ( PixieDust PixieDust )
Mentions Maia ( nymphadora. nymphadora. )

Initiation of school was good for two things. Reuniting with her best-friend and reuniting with her twin sister. Those were pretty much the top tier of things she liked such an event. Ophelia was not much of a fan of such activities where being social is a requirement to get started. The female's exception to actually converse is either if she gets introduced or gets dragged into one which happened quite frequently than she least hoped to.

Having arrived pretty early arrival, the female sought a good corner to settle to see all the fun and occurrences first hand but in the background. In fact she was rather observing the situation. What popped was the sudden flash that erupted out of nowhere resulting in woman in plate armor and a broad ass sword. Weird sure... but this university was way past weird after the two years she spent here. It was her junior year now and she was kind of bummed that she was nearing the end. Time flew by within seconds.

The female was humming to herself, leaning back against the tree, sitting. She could hear the chitter chatter and got lost in it, looking at empty patch on the ground before a familiar voice interrupted that daze. Upon looking up she lifted her gaze and a smiled from ear to ear appeared on her lips as she spotted the familiar dark red haired female. None other than Jean, her bestest friend ever... Ophelia just left it at there. Best-friend.

"Jean! I was wondering where did you run off this time." the happiness laced withing Ophelia's words which was very rare. She pulled Jean into a tight embrace, knowing fully well what the red-head was going through and also because it still felt a long time from seeing her. Even if it wasn't. That being said she let her go and nodded. "A bit. Some things never change cause the bonfires get weirder by the year."

She was relieved that Jean was with her now, she was no longer alone. However, her other half seemed a bit off. Maia, where was her twin sister? She tended to also dissolve into the background like Ophelia. It was one thing the twins had in common. "By any chance, you didn't see Maia in any corner when you found your way to me? Or you know..." she pointed to her own forehead, "Hear her? I'm worried because I haven't seen her all night." She knows Jean could probably have many many thoughts bombarding her brain right now. Being in a crowded area such as this. It was straining and Phelia was ready to be there for her if anything happened. It why she asked if her sister's thoughts happened to pop in there. If not, it was no issue. Maia would probably find her later on.

Location: Close to Bonfire
Mood: Anxious/Nervous

A young girl was just entering the group of young adults to fleshed out adults. Nothing about her stood out amongst the many bright and special minds that were around the bonfire. Almost every facet of the girl's being wanted to at least join them, but every motion to join them was meant with an superior motion to refuse herself to be in their company. It was such a vicious cycle of negativity versus a gentle and meek cycle of positivity. In Unfortunately, the negativity won in the end , causing her to hide behind a tree pretty close to the bonfire.

As she continued to observe the multitude of individuals that slowly were attracted to the bonfire in one way or another , it was pretty clear that some of them weren't normal. Especially one that something in her mind told her that she wasn't normal, along with her friend. It was the red headed woman conversing with her friend. She could almost feel her psychic pressure trailing around the bonfire, and it caused her to shover a bit. Also, she couldn't help but notice that she overall is very beautiful .

She desperately wanted to at least have a conversation with this individual & her friend in particular. However , she had no idea how to do so. To a observer , it would seem she was a stalker of some sort, observing her from afar while waiting for the opportunity to strike. An analogy could be made between a cat who has cornered a mouse. However, from Frankie's perspective, it was more of a meek mouse trying to talk to a giant cat.

She was seen mustering all possible levels of courage she had, albeit it still wasn't much in comparison to most individuals. Her eyes relaxed a bit, and took a deep breath, taking in all the fresh air she could in the situation . Frankie then started to walk towards the two woman, however each step felt like she was trembling and almost about to fall. However, she managed to make it where they were. Before she passed out due to an anxiety attack, she faintly whispered in a stutter " H-Hi ".

Then, she lost consciousness right then and there. Her eyes lost vacancy , and she fell to the floor without any signs of being awake or trying to joke around with them. This was the first time she has talked to people since she was merely ten, so of course she would nearly have a panic attack doing so. Yes, it would take quite a bit of time before she can talk to people regularly.

Shuri

Shuri laughed loudly and joyfully, her jubilant smile cackling with her. "Comfortable?" She repeated, phrasing it as if it were the single funniest word she had heard in her short life. "Brother, hide your testosterone! I will be fine here; what can these Americans do to me? They're so puny." She gestured to a couple lounging under a nearby tree as if that were all the proof she needed. Any glare the pair sent her way was obstinately ignored as the Wakandans walked on.

After a moment of silence, Shuri allowed her expression to soften slightly, and she nudged T'Challa's side. "And you will be ok here?" She inquired hesitantly. As if realising that was a bit
too gentle, she continued hurriedly: "You are not as thick skinned as your sister, after all." In all truthfulness, she was concerned for her brother. Such a major change in scenery so soon after a parents death could be disheartening for anyone. Except her. She was Princess Shuri! She was invincible! Of course! Of course...her brother, though, needed her attention. Families look out for each other in times of need; that was something Wakanda had taught her well.

SCENARIO: Following Threads|| LOCATION: University Bonfire|| WITH: Ophelia revalia revalia Frankie Andrita Andrita || MENTIONS: || OUTFIT:

Seeing Ophelia smile upon greeting her, was enough to make Jean feel instantly more at ease, than she had just a few minutes earlier. Her best friend always seemed so genuinely pleased to see her, and Jean, of course, reciprocated. There was almost no one else in the world she loved more than Ophelia, and though they had caught up over the summer whenever they could, being at university together was always the best.

Ophelia immediately pulled Jean into a warm hug, the redhead hugging her back for a little longer than usual. Ophelia knew very well about Jean's recent heartbreak, no less that she certainly was not over it, and Jean seemed to gain a lot of reassurance from her hugs. It was nice to have a friendship so strong that no telepathy was needed to communicate unsaid thoughts.

When Ophelia asked whether Jean had seen or heard Maia, the redhead frowned a little, shaking her head. "No, I haven't, but if you want me to, I can-"

Before she could finish her sentence, she was caught off guard by a small, nervous looking girl that had made her way over to them. The girl's thoughts hit Jean like a tsunami and it almost made her stagger backwards. There was so much anxiety, insecurity and self-doubt laced between the lines of the thoughts, that poor Jean very nearly began to cry.

"H-Hi" the girl stammered, before promptly falling to the ground. Gasping, Jean immediately knelt beside her to check that she was okay, her eyes wide with a panic she had not felt for a long time.
"Phelia, what do I d-do?" she breathed, looking up at her friend frantically. She was too scared to try waking the girl via mind link. The last time that happened....well...Jean had ended up in a coma.

T'Challa couldn't contain his blissful laughter and sense of self when his sister Shuri was being a complete jokester; really nothing out of the usual for him, and she's been like this ever since they were children. When she gestured towards a couple and stated that they were "puny", T'Challa did nothing but continue to unrestrainedly laugh, and shake his head in joyful dismay. Some of the traits that T'Challa admires about his younger sister is her fearlessness and her unwavering confidence; T'Challa has never met a person who never easily shown any signs of fear, nor has such a determination as his sister Shuri.

T'Challa's hearty laughter died down, and there was a moment of silence between the two close siblings, but it was shortly broken by Shuri. "And you will be okay here? You are not as thick skinned as your sister after all," says Shuri. T'Challa bursts out again in joyous laughter, with a bright shining vivacious smile. "Oh, please." He'd roll his eyes and continue on, "Of course I'll be okay! There is no need to fret about me Shuri; and besides, I should be the one asking if you are okay," T'Challa proceeds to give Shuri a little playful nudge back. "And besides, father would've been proud of us, of how far we come. So don't worry about me, and don't stress yourself out especially, alright?" T'Challa childishly chuckles and continues to look around the similar area of the campus which they've probably walked past for about a hundred times; heck they have probably walked around the campus about a thousand times since he remembered that this was the exact same place they've started their little tour of this new school that they are about to attend. "I think we've familiarized ourselves enough with the area Shuri, how do you feel about going to a bonfire party?" asks T'Challa with an infectious smirk.

SCENARIO: Lockheed, no! || LOCATION: University Bonfire|| WITH:Lockheed and Jinx cinnabuns cinnabuns || MENTIONS: Edward ExcitingGhost ExcitingGhost || OUTFIT:

The fact that Joan of Arc over there had apparently fallen in from space, should have been surprising to Kitty, but she had been to space too, and that was where she had met Lockheed. At this point, anything was possible. She turned her head slightly to look a the dragon who was still shielding her with his wings. "You hear that, buddy, you're not the only alien here!"

She then offered a bright smile to Jinx, to show Lockheed that the girl meant no harm. Along with Jinx's own words of assurance, the dragon began to lean a little bit closer to the stranger, making a low, non-threatening growling sound in greeting.
"Hey, he likes you!"

When Jinx asked whether Kitty was enjoying the atmosphere, Kitty laughed a little. "If all universities were like this it would be awesome. I'm guessing most don't come complete with Joan of Arc falling from the sky."

Before Kitty could accept the offer of a drink, Lockheed suddenly took off in a seemingly random direction. She groaned and ran a hand through her dark brown hair as she watched the purple alien swoop in circles until he came across a guy reading a crossword, that didn't seem to want to be disturbed. Lockheed was trying to check out the crossword and was hovering very close to the male.

"Crap, I really don't want to make this awkward..." Kitty muttered, debating whether or not to go over and admit to Lockheed being her responsibility.

Shuri

"I am not fretting!" Shuri protested, but she allowed the rest of T'Challa's statement for as good natured as it was, and when he chuckled she laughed along with him. "You," She said through her snickers, "are impossible."

Her brother paused to take in their surroundings for a moment, and - apparently noticing they had passed the same spot theee times already - suggested they moved on to the bonfire party the college was throwing. Shuri allowed his infectious smirk to spread to her own lips as she nodded appreciatively. “That, brother, is the first good idea you’ve had today.” She said, eyes lighting up. “A bonfire party. The perfect place for American hijinks.”

She felt her lips stretch further into her grin just thinking about it. A bonfire party would be exactly what she needed to get her American experience going. There would be underage drinking, scandalous betrayals, loud nameless music and at least one all out brawl (the latter preferably topless), just like there were in the movies. Maybe she’d even have a racist remark thrown her way! What an adventure that would be. She wrapped her hands around her brother’s forearm and began pulling him towards the party; it’s location easily distinguishable by the rising smoke on the darkening skyline just a few buildings away.

Cassandra

Cassandra didn’t attend the party. She had tried, briefly, flitting around the edges of loud conversations and avoiding the heat that spread from the fire in waves. It didnt work, and soon the back of her neck was sweaty and she was sick of picking what she could understand out of churning, frothy seas of words so she left. And went back to her dormitory, at Room 321.

Her roomate’s things had been there when she arrived. They hadn’t caught each other. Cass had briefly wondered what she would be like. Barbara had told her “Your roommate either makes or breaks your college experience.” So they would be important. She hoped they would treat her like Barbara did, and not like the lady in the shop when she wouldn’t speak to her son.

Cass placed her hand on her Nike sports bag of clothing and other trinkets that she had left resting on her bed, white and empty. She stared at it for a moment. Then she paced to the other side of the room. She looked at the wall. Barbara had given her a poster to put on it, of a black haired boy with a stick. She would put it up, she thought. Later. Huffing, she moved back to her side of the room. It was too small. And classes didn’t start for too long. And there was no one else and after so long alone Cass had thought she would have built an immunity but that apparently that wasn’t the case.

So she slipped out of her jumper and pulled on some exercise pants. There had to be a training room somewhere in the place; what sort of education centre would it be without one? Barefoot, she moved from her room into the corridor and on her way to some much needed stress relief.

Clark

Clark approached the bonfire with the sole intent of finding his friends, of course. It was hard to believe it had been so long since he had last seen them all; how were they going? Had they uncovered any juicy government conspiracies? Were they keeping up in their baseball training? They better had been! But even before he moved close enough for the fire to illuminate any faces he may have known (or at least, by human standards. He’d been able to make out the faces of his bros from the moment he rounded the corner) his attention was drawn elsewhere; to a solitary figure that stalked along the rim of the crowd.

Clark angled himself towards the boy without a second thought. He was struggling, obviously, and wasn’t it the job of people like himself to help those who were struggling? College was a harsh scene, and there were always those who wouldn’t adapt straight away; which was exactly why those who did - like himself - needed to pitch in.

As he neared the boy, Clark cleared his throat to gain his attention. “Hello there!” He greeted jovially, and holding out a hand. “I’m Clark, Clark Kent. Lovely to meet you on this fine night.”

Raven dragged her suitcase behind her, a thick novel in her other hand. She silently walked through the halls of the girl's dormitory, her blue eyes scanning the room numbers on each door till she found her own. A dark shadow enveloped the book in her hand, making it float beside her as she dug the pockets of her jeans to find the room key. Feeling the cold jagged surface, she pulled it out swiftly and unlocked the door. Should she have had knocked first before? It was too late now and she sighed in relief that no one was in the room. Pulling her tinted glasses to rest it on the top of her head, she stepped into the room she'll be staying in for the next school year. Her eyes landed on some luggage peaking out from under a bed, connecting the obvious dots that it belongs to her roommate.

The floating novel flew gently through the room and landed on the empty bed before releasing her telekinetic powers. Raven hoped that her roommate wasn't too loud and respected her privacy. At least it wasn't trashed on the first day. Remembering the image of Beast Boy's room in Titan Towers made a shiver run down her spine. The thought of her team mate made her thoughts wander to how the rest of her friends are. She knew Robin is a sophomore this year; Starfire said she would be in Tamaran the last time she saw her; while Cyborg and Beast Boy had mention some traveling.

Raven let out a sigh, she didn't want to admit it but she missed her time together with them. She pushed her lonely thoughts away and diverted her attention to unpacking. She had heard from the admin lady that there was a party to welcome the students. But the girl had no intention on going. Just the thought of a massive group of people- no doubt drinking turned her off immediately. She'd much rather spend her first night in the quiet of her room, reading.

So he wasn't just a dragon, he was a space dragon. This place was so cool. "I dunno, maybe this is a constant occurrence around here~. Where did you-" Jinx watched as Lockheed flew away, circling around the area for a new source of entertainment. She couldn't blame him - this party probably was dull for a dragon, anyway. Violet irises watched as Lockheed circled once, twice, three times before hovering near a young man with a crossword. Jinx could see Lockheed was more interested in figuring out the puzzle than trying to burn it, so she wasn't worried, but she could tell Kitty was.

    "Let's go over together."

Wait, did she say that out loud? Jinx mentally cursed herself for showing kindness so early...but oh well. Kitty was worried about her dragon, and Jinx knew it was the easiest solution. She gathered her thoughts quickly before continuing to speak. "We can let him know he has a friend, maybe before he notices." With that, she wrapped her free arm with Kitty's, quickly finishing her drink. They could always get more later; besides, this was important to Kitty. She crushed the cup with one hand, eyeballing the nearest trashcan and tossing it towards it. Her violet eyes glowed as she sent it flying - straight into the can. Three points! Jinx grinned and looked to Kitty. "You ready, Kit-Kat?"

Giving him a half smile with a confused look at his reaction to her presence here she hummed and took one swig from her warm beer. Her nose wrinkled a bit but nothing effected her ever since her metabolism was more hyper than she was. "Seems like I was not the only one not expecting you here, You seem surprised as well." she grinned. She knew Barry and he was stuttering and it was not just out of surprise. He was hiding something.

Jessica and Barry may have never seen eye to eye at a young age but as they grew up, the pair grew to be more competitive and that meant studying the competition until they became somewhat closer. Friends? Maybe. The stuttering meant he was lying or making something up on the spot. Alright, she will play along. Jessica frowned and nodded, "You never told me you attended university, I thought you were starting in forensics already. Why did the Captain recommend you this University?" she asked in a intrigued tone. Completely ignoring the question he asked about her presence here. Not ignoring per se, simply answering a question with another question. A trick of the trade. She was honestly interested in what he was going to bubble up till he cracked.

She was thirsty, the beer she drank was downed in one sip. Nothing. It didn't effect. She was bummed. She cannot remember the last time that she felt the effect of beer or any alcohol for that matter. The buzz. The thrill.

"Chug, chug, chug..!"

Ash swallowed one more big gulp of cheap beer from the barrel before gracefully flipping herself back to the ground from doing a keg stand. A round of cheers and wolf whistles surrounded her. Licking her lips she grinned cheekily and took a deep bow. Giggling, she walked towards the crowd, stumbling over the uneven ground of the forest as she felt the blood rush back to the rest of her body. The tipsy girl managed to balance herself before she fell over with the help of a random pair of arms. Her hands used the support to plant her feet firmly on the floor, before looking up and giving her 'savior' a silly grin. He chuckled as he mentioned something about going somewhere. But Ash wasn't listening, she kept eye contact with him as her hands slid down his arms, one hand slipping off the shiny watch off his wrist and smoothly tucked it into her leather jacket. Just as she was about to come up with an excuse, a bright white flash lit the party.

The bright flash caught everyone's attention, and she turned around seeing a confused girl in armour and one hell of a sword. "Hey, I didn't get the costume memo!" She threw out the joke. Ash was pretty far from the girl, and her voice didn't seem to reach her. The guy that held her before now distracted, she shrugged and pushed past the now quiet crowd. She needed to relieve herself, stat. The cheap beer sure made its way through her quickly. Squeezing past, she managed to slip a few more loose jewelry off the drunkards. Finally getting some breathing space, she put on the various rings she stole and admired her fingers for a moment. "Fake," she said, pouting. She didn't expect much from college students anyway, but come on! There had to be some stupid rich people here.

Her hips swayed more than usual, thanks to the alcohol working. She could barely remember which direction the building was. Luckily, she heard some laughter not too far ahead. It sounded so infectious, she couldn't help but smile. As she followed the sounds, it turns out they were a lot closer than she thought. Bumping into a body- or a rock. The sudden impact, along with the buzz made her vision swirl and stumble backwards. It felt as if the whole world tilted as she lost her footing... and fell butt first to the floor. This had to be one of the most unglamorous moment for Ash, the rising cat burglar. "Ow.." She winced, so much for grace and landing on their feet. She pushed the blame on the alcohol. Shaking her fuzzy thoughts away, she looked up at what she bumped into and saw the silhouette of a person. She was internally relieved it wasn't actually a rock.

"Sorry about-" Ash started to apologise, her spinning vision finally focussing on his face. Cute guy was an understatement, but before she could make her sudden pause any longer, she sputtered out a 'hi'.

All he could feel was embarrassment. And horror. Can't forget horror. Not only did he trip and fall on his face after telling Aunt May he'd be fine at university on his own, he ended up bothering a cute girl. He winced again, hearing the voice in his head (that sounded suspiciously like Aunt May) berating him for acting in such an ungentlemanly way. Seeing a hand appear in front of his face, Peter flushed lightly. Hoping that it was hidden due to the darkness he reached up and took her hand in his and got to his feet before brushing off his shirt and jeans while listening to her apologize. He frowned in confusion, words coming out of his mouth before he even realized he was speaking.

"Why are you sorry, you didn't throw dirt on me..." he trailed off as his brain caught up with his mouth and his eyes widened in almost comical horror. "Oh God, I threw dirt on you, I'm so sorry!" he exclaimed, feeling a sudden urge to bow in shame.

The flush across his cheeks could only grow slightly darker as it fully set in just how much of a fool he looked at the moment. Just what every girl wanted to see a guy do. Make a complete utter fool of himself.

"S-sorry again..." he winced. "Thanks uh....thanks for helping me up....I hope I didn't damage your book."

'Shut up Peter, you're rambling!!!' he screamed at himself in his head. He was such an idiot. What was wrong with him, wasn't he just going on about how he was a college student now and would be fine on his own?! Apparently not. He wanted to groan at his pathetic-ness.

"Oh! I'm uh, Peter, by the way. Peter Parker. Nice to meet you." he held his hand out again for her to shake. He wished he could smack himself upside the head. Not only had they already sort of greeted each other due to him tripping in front of her, who shook hands anymore? He was sure he'd be beating himself up later once he was back in the safety of his room.

If she wasn't used to seeing weird and somewhat strange relationships, Skye probably would've been more than confused at how the two who had entered her room interacted. The blonde girl, who she was assuming was her roommate at this point, seemed nice enough which was good for Skye. Meant less of a chance that she'd try and look at what she was doing all the time. Or start snooping through her computer. Not like she would ever leave it in the open in the first place, but still. It's the thought that counts.

And that's the thought that she wanted to prevent.

With that, her gaze shifted to the brunette. Her, she could tell she would have to watch out for. While she appreciated the blonde turning the lights back off, her eyes really did need a break from the light of her laptop, she caught the look the other girl had sent her computer. She didn't know what she thought, but she wasn't about to take any sort of chance.

"Oh...no don't worry about it..." she murmured, slowly beginning to unwind her body. She'd been shocked out of her miserable state which had somehow stopped the earthquake she'd been starting to create. While unsure of the two, she couldn't help but appreciate the help they'd unknowingly given her.

Sliding off her bed and onto the floor, she was glad that she was wearing her fuzzy green socks. She could still feel the chill of the floor beneath her feet. The random thought of getting a rug to cover most of her half of the room floated into her head and she made a mental note to look into it. Or even talk to her new roommate about it and getting a large enough one to cover the whole room...

She shook her head, escaping her straying thoughts and began to stretch out her arms above her head, the sleeves of her over sized forest green sweater falling down to reveal her arms and the faint bruises that covered them. Skye didn't even think about them, so used to seeing them for the past few months that she didn't pay attention to the fact that they could be seen by others and she bent forward to touch her toes and crack her back.

Sending the blonde, she really needed to start calling her Ginny, a small smile, she crossed her arms slightly and gripped her elbows. "I don't mind going out. I could use some fresh air anyway. And food sounds delicious right now." she added. "Just let me grab my bag and I'm ready to go whenever you guys are." she motioned towards Mercy who seemed happy enough to ignore her and put away Ginny's clothes.

Seemed weird, but oh well. Wasn't her business. What was her business however was her laptop. Turning slightly she hunched over her bed and typed a few quick commands into her computer and put it to sleep before putting it into her messenger back and hiking it up on her shoulder. She turned back towards the two and started looking for her converse. "Aha!" she chirped, putting them on. Now fully ready, she jumped to her feet and sent the two a grin. "Ready?"

Edward E. Nigma

The second the flying purple thing was within two feet of him, Edward tensed up. Other people getting close to him was bad enough, but now he had to deal with a dragon getting way to close to him as well? After glaring at the flying creature for a moment and noticing he was taking interest in the puzzle on his phone, he turned the device off. Now there was no reason for it to stick around, right? Edward quickly turned his attention to scanning the party to see who could've sent the creature his way, and he noticed the two girls looking his way.

Great, did this mean he had to interact with them?

Unimpressed, he raised his eyebrow at them in question. He didn't really want to talk to these two who clearly couldn't keep their pet in control, and he'd rather they just get it away from him, but that certainly didn't seem like what was about to happen. Sighing in defeat, he tried to mentally prepare himself for the inevitable conversation.

He couldn't forgive Harvey and Jervis for being late, not after this.

As T'Challa and his sister Shuri headed toward the bonfire, T'Challa instantly had second thoughts. He usually never attends to these types of festivities because he never has or probably never will have the interest to get "turned up", or "lit" as the Americans call it. The only reason why he even asked his sister to go was that he knew that she was into these American parties, or whatever, and to make sure that he and Shuri enjoyed themselves. However, T'Challa did feel the need to inform his sister honestly on why he even suggested going to the party. "You know Shuri, the only reason why I even asked you to go was that I knew you'd be interested in this kind of stuff," T'Challa says with a small soft laugh. It's not that T'Challa hates parties, or is a boring person and doesn't like to socialize, but in his perspective, parties like these are kind of a waste of time to him. "And I hope you also know that you shouldn't be drinking either," T'Challa said gravelly with a stern look on his face. T'Challa already betted to himself that they were going to be alcohol and alcoholic beverages. And of course, T'Challa would never drink any alcohol, since he thought of it as disgusting and can't understand people who do drink it. Besides, by consuming the Heart-Shaped herb he cannot be intoxicated from alcohol since he is virtually immune to it. "I'm serious Shuri if someone offers you a drink and you never even see them pour it, decline immediately!" says the overprotective brother.

The two were near the bonfire party, and T'Challa's superhuman sense of smell sort of threw him off. He could smell the distasteful scent of cigarettes, the smoldering smoking bonfire, the scent of fun-to-drink liquor, the fragrances of a few peoples cheap cologne and or perfume. The varying odors and scents must've thrown T'Challa off so much that he accidentally bumped into someone. He regained his attention to look at who he bumped into, and it was a young woman who had platinum hair. The platinum-haired female stumbled backward a bit and fell on her rear end. By the looks of it from T'Challa's point of view, she was undoubtedly drunk; or so he assumed. As the young woman greeted them with a spluttered out hi, T'Challa proceeds to walk over to her, lean down, and offer her a hand up. "That was quite a fall," T'Challa chuckles, with a benevolent smile. T'Challa would look over to his hand that still wasn't taken by the fallen silver-haired girl and say, "Well, aren't you gonna get up?"

SCENARIO: Camouflage || LOCATION: Outside the dorms, heading for the bonfire|| WITH: N/A|| MENTIONS: izayoiix izayoiix || OUTFIT:

Mystique's objective had been clear since before she had arrived at this university. The goal was firmly planted in her mind's eye and she had thoroughly planned the entire life story of her newest alias: Miss Rowan Darkholme. All her mannerisms, speech patterns, idiosyncrasies and other minutia had been drilled to perfection. She was ready to prove herself to Magneto. To prove that she was far superior to the pathetic humans not gifted with the power she possessed. And yet, now that she stood here outside the looming building, it seemed her focus was not complete. This would not be the first time she had appeared to strangers in disguise as someone else, but this was the first time that occasionally shifting to her natural state would be nearly impossible to do. No one could know who she was.

"You are our greatest asset, Mystique. Never have I come across a more talented mutant than you," Magneto had said, truly believing in her. Affirming the beauty of her natural self, encouraging her not to hide. If she could pull this off for him, she could be special to someone.. Not that it mattered, of course.

Young Mystique immediately took on the demeanour of a lost freshman hopelessly staring at a map of the building as she positioned herself close to a handsome older student. She had already managed to sneak her way around the building a week prior, mapping out the entire campus in her mind. There was no way she did not know the building; but she was Rowan Darkholme, not Mystique.

"Excuse me," she asked the male, looking at him with a lost puppy expression and lacing her words with a nervous and enticing tone, "I'm Rowan Darkholme, freshman. I was wondering if you could show me the way to my dorm?" She offered him a coy smile as he gave her directions, thanking him once he had done so and walking away elegantly, watching him watch her go with an air of smug satisfaction. It shouldn't be too hard for her to get anything she wanted in this form.

Finally she reached her dorm, finding it to be empty, thankfully. She did not need anyone seeing her change form. After setting her stuff out, she melted the appearance of Rowan to reveal her true self. Catching herself in the mirror she grimaced. bright yellow eyes stared back at her, blue, slightly iridescent skin and blood red hair. 'Disgusting;, she thought, interrupting that thought with another. 'No, Mystique, he told you to be proud of it. It makes you superior...'

Sighing deeply and briefly closing her eyes, she slipped from the room and began making her way to the bonfire that everyone apparently needed to attend. Perfect for recruiting. She had not noticed that she had neglected to change form back to Rowan Darkholme.

It had been a long day for the young Inhuman, and Crystal couldn't be happier about it. She'd arrived on Earth only the day before and was finally registered at the university her sister wanted her to attend and all her things had been packed away early on. While she was sad at the fact that she hadn't met her roommate yet, some girl named....Shuri? Crystal nodded to herself as she darted around the campus, looking for things to do and people to interact with. Shuri, that sounded right. She hoped the two could be friends!

Frowning slightly the young redhead was starting to feel bored in her plan to get lost and find new people. While she could see fine in the dark, she figured she should probably try to look a bit human, after all, she didn't think many people new about Inhuman's. So she lifted her palm and focused on heat and warmth and light and in moments a small flame was floating above her skin. "Yes~" she chirped to herself, proud that she managed to summon the flame so easily on her first try.

So there she was, wandering the grounds with a small flame in her hands. Glancing around Crystal began to recognize some of the buildings. She gasped, snapping the fingers of her free hand in recognition. The dorms! "Duh," she laughed at herself.

Figuring there wasn't much use to wandering around anymore, she was planning to go back inside and see if there was anyone still hanging around or if her roommate arrived when she noticed someone heading out of the building. Her eyes lit up in curiosity, catching sight of an appearance trait she was pretty positive humans didn't tend to have.

'Blue skin...!' she thought excitedly, her eyes beginning to sparkle.

Letting the fire in her palm fade away, leaving her with a trace of warmth on her hand, Crystal took off after the young woman, noticing more about her appearance as she got closer. She was so excited! Someone so unique and perfect and pretty! She knew she wouldn't regret coming to Earth!!!

"Hi!" she chirped loudly, coming to a stop just beside the other girl. "Oh my gosh, I just had to come after you! I mean, how could I not?! You're blue!" she gushed, her hands coming up to latch onto the girls arm. "You're just so pretty, oh my gosh, I cannot get over it!"

All Barry could do now was curse himself inside his head. Jessica knew him well enough to know that when he started stuttering, he wasn't being honest. He hated his tells. But the only thing that was good about this was that he just knew that she was hiding something too. Just like he was, she wouldn't be at this school without a reason. "Don't think I didn't notice you not answering me," he shot back at her, narrowing his eyes slightly.

"And what do you mean?" he demanded. "Why wouldn't I attend university? Do you really think any Captain for a police station would hire someone without the proper credentials?" he asked, his voice tinged with a hint of mock lecturing. "This school happens to have a good program for forensic science, I'll have you know." he added.

Now that he wasn't stammering for some type of cover, he could really try and think about why his neighbor was here. Obviously she was hiding something like he was, he'd made that deduction already, but what exactly? He hoped it wasn't something dangerous. Yeah they didn't see eye to eye all the time, but in a way, Barry did consider her a friend. And he hated when his friends were hurt. He sighed, running a hand through his hair before taking another sip of his warm beer. He winced. It was like the taste kept getting worse.

Looking at her cup, seeing that it was empty he pushed off his tree. "Come on, let's see if they have anything that tastes better than this crap." he offered, wanting a type of truce.

Starting towards the large group of coolers, he turned so he was walking backwards and facing Jessica. "So, what are you here for? Track?" he asked.

Having woken up to falling on top of empty beer bottles was not the best way for his day to start. Then again, waking up around ten at night probably wasn't the best thing either. But oh well. Letting out a groan as he pushed his stiff body to his feet, he stretched out, relaxing as random parts of his body popped. Sending a glance to the other half of his room, he didn't see a roommate yet, so he was free to escape social talk so far. Which was good. Definitely good.

"Fuck!" he cursed, stepping on one of the empty bottles. He growled in annoyance and kicked the stupid thing out of his way, feeling a dark sense of enjoyment at the fact that it shattered on the other side of the room after slamming into the wall.

Huffing at the sight of broken glass, he rolled his eyes and left after snagging his leather jacket off the foot of his bed. He didn't want to go to whatever lame event the school was putting on, but at the same time he didn't want to be stuck in his room with only his memories. He couldn't decide which was the worse activity, but figured if he went out he had a better chance at finding more alcohol than he did in his own room. Whoever ended up being his roommate better not have an issue with the amount of alcohol he drank. As long as they kept whatever bitching and moaning about him they had to themselves, they could somehow survive this year.

Stepping onto the grass with heavy thumps, Logan could instantly smell the fire coming from the large clearing the university had set up for the bonfire. His lip curled slightly, already catching the scent of hormonal idiots. It was hell already and he was only just outside of his dorm room. He almost went back inside when he caught a familiar scent, one that seemed to be alone.

And damn it if his instincts weren't screaming at him to go see if she was okay. While he could appreciate them most of the time, he didn't appreciate the fact that they wanted him to go make sure some little girl was doing fine. He turned to go back inside when something in his head screamed at him.

He let out a sharp snarl and turned back towards the trees and stalked forward. "Fucking dammit it all..." he grumbled, shoving his hands into his pockets as the scents began to get stronger.

It didn't take long for him to come upon the familiar scent. She was standing off to the side on her own wearing her signature gloves. He let out a loud huff of air, sighing at the sight of her. The girl didn't need to end up like him, drunk and alone. At least she didn't seem to keen on the drinking part. One silver lining.

"Alright kid, what's got you standing on yer own?" he grumbled out, coming to rest on the other side of the tree she was leaning on, crossing his arms across his chest as he glared out at the crowd of people.
