Location: Wurzel Complex

Nadina awoke somewhat early in the morning, a rather groggy look upon her face. Her hair was quite disheveled as the bed sheets she had laid on top of had managed to be flung every which way in her nighttime shuffling in her sleep. She yawned loudly, feeling quite drowsy, fighting her desire to get some more sleep. She wanted to meet with the overseer first thing on his arrival to ensure the cleanest possible execution of Caster's plan. It meant lacking the element of surprise working to take down such a threat, but she was quite confident with caster and her own abilities that she could win the war. She didn't need to rely upon pitiful tactics like team Assassin would to achieve victory.

Her head turned up watching as her maid ventured in. Being in her mid 30s she was a bit older then Nadina. Unlike most maids however her family had ties to Magus. Not being selected to learn the craft she was the type that often instead found their way in other lesser positions. It was far from the most ideal place, but it was typically a position that a the very least came above similar jobs for those divorced from the Magus world. The woman (known as Alexia) worked to help Nadina get dressed providing her with an outfit to wear picking out a nice white button up top with a nice red vest accompanied by a shorter red plaid skirt. It was more then what most would wear on such a hot day but appearances were important to her, electing to use lighter outfits in exchange.

"Thank you, I'll be taking the car out. Would you kindly remind my father to keep a low profile. If he is going to really stay in the house I prefer if he doesn't get in the way.... it was bad enough he was nagging me to not take part earlier the other day." She spoke with a soft sigh finishing fixing herself up, her maid giving her a brief run over to help make sure everything was fully sorted out with her clothing. Her head turned over, glancing briefly at the text from the night before as it set at the desk, her red eyes glancing upon it pausing briefly on it.

"I'll likely be eating out... or simply wait to do so until once I come back. I am not certain yet." She commented as she finally walked out of the room. She headed down the hall not quite certain where caster was but deciding to not bother intruding upon him. She didn't feel like dealing with his 'lip' as of now. She wasn't exactly the most friendly morning person out there. Leaving early and waiting would be the best chance she had to get to see the overseer before anyone else. It would be far more effective to spread the message about the dark threat looming over the war if they were informed about it immediately. She wandered down the hall heading through her home on her way out.

[Grand] Caster

Suddenly, the voice of Caster called out. "Hold it right there, young lady," he said, with a very menacing tone. He looked at Nadina, with folded hands and tapping his foot. He had a pink apron on that had 'KISS THE COOK' written on it and holding onto a spatula in his left hand. Caster looked... ridiculous, yet threatening at the same time. "How can you go out without breakfast? It is the most important meal of the day, not to mention, I already cooked it for you!" he stated with furrowed eyebrows. "Get your butt to the kitchen and eat," he demanded. Caster sounded more like a protective parent than a servant.

"Oh, by the way, I spent the night working on those charms and a few other things," he threw two amulets toward Nadina. Simple, iron chains with small, red jewels on their ends. They were not excessively beautiful, but not that ugly either, and they emanated with waves of magical energy. "Give one to the Overseer, maybe you can win his favor," he chuckled and relaxed his arms on his waist. "All it takes is to get one on your pretty neck and Beast's insanity-inducing effects go away," he added.

He was no morning bird. Takehiko got up and angrily pressed the button on the clock. His hair was unkempt and disorderly. He followed his morning routine, starting with the bathroom; he brushed his teeth, washed his hands, cleaned his face and got his hair straightened out. Next, he headed to the kitchen to eat breakfast, where he was greeted by his mother. He suited up for school and put on his usual, elegant, yet simple uniform with a tie. His parents' memories have been altered yesterday - they think that Rider is Takehiko's cousin who is going to be living with them for a while. After he had been done, Takehiko looked to his side, out the window.

He walked down the stairs and took the bike toward school. On his way, he asked: "How are you today, Rider?"

Rider

Rider currently in his spirit form and was tailing his master. The concept of the toothbrush was weird but simple to understand unlike the sink. He greeted Takehiko's parents when they saw him. Takehiko's magic worked as they thought he was Hito's cousin. As soon as he exited outside of the house, he turned into his spiritual form. With him in spirit form Takehiko's mana wouldn't drain up. "Good, so far," Rider said as he continue to follow Takehiko through spirit form. He was interested in the bike, but would prefer to ride it later.

"Are you going to see if any of the students in your school have servants?" Rider asked. He highly doubted, high school students would contract servants, I mean what are the chances.

Jun had jack duty today at work and was doing his job as normal stopping for a moment to wipe away some sweat. On his back his felt a hard slap turning it was one of his co-workers with a bottle of water in hand. He handed it to Jun with a smile on his face. "Hey Jun look a little thirst there want a drink." Jun took the drink with a nod. "Oh thanks old man." He chugged the water the co-worker pointing to his hand. "Woah got yourself a tattoo now?" Jun paused his mind racing at the mention of his Command Seals. 'Shit I'm not wearing my gloves right now, I didn't even think about it! Any of these guys could be masters I might've just given myself away! No play it cool just stay calm even if he is a master he doesn't know what servant I have. Now that I think about it I don't even know if Assassin is near by right now!' Jun put the cap back on the water sighing as he did.

He chuckled at the comment now rubbing the back of his head. "Yeah got it yesterday it's supposed to be a wolf." The co-worker laughed. "Sounds like something you'd get well we'd better get back to work." With that the co-worker went off to do his job leaving Jun with a feeling of relief. 'Looks I'm safe for now better be careful.' He reached into his pocket and took out his work gloves putting them on. 'Should be safer now that I'm wearing these. Better avoid any more close shaves like that again.'

A look of dread filled her face hearing the voice she had hoped to avoid in the morning speak up. A rather displaced look of distaste was visible on her. What did I do to deserve such a thing world? She thought slowly turning her head to look towards him having her plan to slip out of the home completely foiled. Her eyes glanced upon him, staring on with a rather grumpy expression that turned into more of one of disbelief. She stared at the apron looking upon it and then up to Caster.

"First off... I hire people to handle tasks such as cooking should I actually require something to eat. Second... what the hell are you doing wearing my Dad's idoitic apron!" She spoke her tone a bit louder for the second point seeing him in such a ridiculous looking apron she could only assume to be her fathers. It was something that made her cringe every time her father decided he wanted to be a cook and and make a meal. She quickly caught the charm, looking at it.

"A little gawky... I just wear it around my neck or is it something I need to place around my neck only when I feel the influence of said Beast trying to grip at my conscience?" She questioned looking at him, grumbling a bit figuring she was trapped eating there before she headed out, shuffling her way to the kitchen not giving caster much a chance to answer unless he followed her.

"Also... I would like to take Lancer with me. I don't think I'll need such an escort service but it wouldn't hurt just in case if this beast thing is as dangerous as you say. I doubt a Master will attempt to do anything troubling but I am not so certain about a supposed world ending threat. That and I wouldn't mind spending some time with her. She seems like she is an interesting woman... a lot less of a pain then you are." She spoke adding in the last bit almost as a little playful jab at Caster to get back at him.

Assassin let out a light sigh as she stood watch no far from Jun in her dispersed form as to not be draining on his Mana. She had warned him to hide his Command Seals yet he had all but seemed to forget ending up having it spotted by one of his coworkers. It was far from the subtle approach she mentioned she wanted him to take for the war. She was convinced he was going to make her job more difficult. It was quite clear he wasn't prepared for the war in the least bit. It was only a question to her if his desire for his wish was that strong, or if he was just too clueless to realize just what an uphill battle it would be for him to obtain the grail. No matter how effective a servant could be, the Master had to be capable in their own right in order to have much of a chance to win the war.

She glanced out through the city, her eyes darting around keeping close watch over the area. She continued to hide her presence to prevent being recognized by someone simply passing by. She hadn't managed to identify any Masters or Servants the night before though she had a general better understanding of the city. While lacking the wilds she had grown accustom to for a good part of her life, it did have its own places to hide or to utilize for cover. It was an intriguing place... though it lacked a certain charm only nature could provide. The world felt so off balance from what it had been during her own time. For all that mankind had gained it seemed to have lost so much more.

Assassin maintained her watch over the area and particular Jun, keeping quiet not bothering to alert him that she was there keeping herself hidden away.

Mizore got up early the next day. She was with a monk who was searching through one of the many books they brought with them. Sense she couldn't read she was telling him what archer told her about the creatures he saw. It took a few hours, right before breakfast that he found it or where it origins could be from. "We lack the books on the subject in detail but from what you said it could be H.P. Lovecraft creature. We never put much thought into his works or tails so I not an expert on it. But from the brief chapter we can assume it at least from his collection of creatures." The monk stated shutting the book.

"If any servant is something like that... They maybe evil... Even if it not as bad as Archer said this could be it maybe best to form an alliance with another servant and master... Until the what ever summon that monster stopped" Mizore said thinking out loud. The monk just nodded and grabbed Mizore hand before guiding her to the dinning area downstairs for breakfast.

"Hold it. You don't seem to understand! My food is better. It's nutritious, tasty, and it's appearance and bold mix of flavors will bring you to heaven. They mix and compliment each other, yet remain so distinct! Regardless, you can criticize my appearance. You can criticize my personality. You can't. Criticize. My cooking. Especially if you haven't tasted it," he folded his arms again. Caster seemed... offended. Deeply. His eyes were closed and his face displayed some hubris, like an impenetrable wall of solemn pride that Nadina just tried throwing an egg of an insult at. His expression relaxed into a short sigh as she started complaining about the plainness of the charm he gave her.

"I didn't put effort into making it look nice. If you wanted something beautiful, you should have told me, princess. I'd have gone to the jeweler. The important part is that it's functional. And you needn't wear it around your neck, by the way: Put it in your pocket for all I care, but the closer it is to your brain space-wise, the stronger its effects will be. I bet if you put one around Berserker's neck, it'd be strong enough to lull his madness into a minor derangement," he replied, again, taking some pride in his statement. Whether or not that statement was true is yet to be revealed - after all, Nadina hasn't seen either Beast, nor Berserker yet, so who knew?

"Oh, and yes, Lancer. You can take Lancer for a spin. I've prepared another amulet for her as well. Worked all night on these, so don't lose them," he said, throwing another, identical charm at Nadina. Caster awaited a response from either of the women, so he could go back to his quiet, nice temple.

"That is correct, Rider," Takehiko replied. Instead of saying it, he used their pseudo-telepathic link - a thing that was apparently natural between Servants and Masters. "If I have you as my Servant, there is a low, but existent possibility that someone else at school is also a Master - the chances are low, but as long as they exist, it is worth checking out. And I have a way of finding it out," he said. His blinked twice. With the first one, his eyes briefly turned into a golden yellow color, and with the second one, they returned back to normal. His Aura Perception, Mystic Eyes, a type of Sorcery Trait passed onto him by his real parents. He had explained them to Rider yesterday, while they were out shopping. Reading the states of emotions of other people was more useful than it seemed; you could stomp on your bully's anger glands by threatening that you will tell his parents - a threat you know will work, since his aura displays some fear around them. But that's just an example. The Mystic Eyes were a useful blessing if you knew how to use them right. Takehiko could easily discern who was a master, trying to see if there is a bright aura, like that of Rider, anywhere in the school building and whom it was connected to. Compared to all other auras present, it'd be like a bright morning star among the sea of the dark sky.

Nadina looked at him as he suddenly launched into a bit of a 'rant' as she would call it. He seemed to really like going on and on about it, making a huge deal about something as simple as cooking. It was just food, find the right proportions and follow the instructions as written to produce the best tasting results. She had practiced simpler incantations that were more complex then what she took most forms of cooking would require. She looked at him letting out a sigh.

"Idiot... I never called your cooking bad, all I said was there is someone here that can handle cooking food. Your a Servant first not a chief, if I wanted some special cook I could hire one if I really wanted a master chief." She spoke back to him, her hands resting on her hips as she seemed to be quick to nip back a bit to his words. She was cranky in the morning so she tended to be a bit more... combative to say the least. She continued forward to get to her food he prepared her keeping a sway in her step as if attempting to keep up her tough exterior.

"I wasn't asking for it to be some pretty thing all I said was it looked gawky. Just because I like to look good doesn't make me some pampered princess." She spoke placing it around her neck, tucking it under her shirt a bit as to hide it. It was truthfully more to help conceal what it was though she didn't mind if he thought she was trying to hide it as a way of 'getting back ' at him out of an almost child like form of rebelling in the heat of the moment standing in the kitchen.

"Alright 'Dad', I'll take Lancer with me. Don't worry I'll make sure I get home before my curfew like a good child like your treating me. Now if you excuse me papa, I really must finish eating this completely lovely breakfest that I'm sure tastes like 'heaven' before you make me late meeting with the 'teacher'."
She spoke with quite a bit of sass in mocking him for being almost father like in how he was talking to her purposely parodying something a teen might say to their parent as she sat down to eat the breakfast he prepared for her. Even if she liked the food she was dead set on dismissing it and not to admit such a thing. It was extremely childish, but it tended to be what happened with Nadina when she was in a cranky mood and felt 'attacked' so to speak. Even someone generally mature like herself was prone to such things.

"Is there some for me, too?" Lancer asked, her mouth open as if she was about to drool. She was, of course, referring to the breakfast Caster had made for Nadina, staring at it hungrily. Realizing she had just done so without even thinking properly, she straightened her posture in a business-like manner. "It would be my honour to accompany you, Master Wurzel." She added quickly, trying to rectify her mistake. "Thank you for the amulet, as well, Caster." Her eyes moved to the extra amulet in Nadina's hands, respectfully waiting for the magus to give it to her herself rather than taking it. She stifled a giggle at Nadina and Caster's bickering. They just looked so adorable like that. "When you are ready, Master Wurzel." She wanted to get out of there fast, and pretend her outburst at the food never happened.

[Grand] Caster

Caster ignored Nadina's antics, as annoying as they were, he could endure them with his willpower. He turned his attention to Lancer, then covered his mouth with his hand, whilst giggling and blushing. He was holding back a more serious laughter. "Lancer, Lancer, Lancer," he let his hand down, speaking in a slightly condescending tone. His eyebrows were notched up in a way that showed prideful superiority. "You should have told me you wanted to eat breakfast. Servants don't need food, you know? Maybe Master will be kind enough to let you have some?" he asked, then chuckled.

The meal itself consisted of three courses. One was a weird, oriental soup of an appetizing orange color. It was a mixture of sweet and sour tastes that were integrated into a striking blend, complete with beans and some veggies scattered all over. Its taste was strong and bright, yet very good; it was somewhat spicy. The other was Inari and firm tofu, as well as mashed potatoes all covered in a meaty sauce that gave the meal a complete taste and feel in the mouth, as they slowly melted away into a nearly liquid state and dissolved on the tongue. Finally, the last one was the famous curry. It had vegetables, fish, cheese, chicken, and beef, as well as a wide assortment of spices all nicely put in a thick sauce. The very look of the meal caused the salivary glands to increase in activity tremendously, not to mention the amazing taste that would, without a doubt, allow Caster to become the head chef of a five-star restaurant. How he obtained such grand culinary skills was... unthinkable.

Rider
"Master," Rider said following his master to school. "What are we going to do, what is the plan if there is a master and servant?" Rider asked. The direct confrontation at school was a no go since there were too many witnesses. There were ways like baiting them out, or ambushing them could work. The idea of assassin's master was also a highschooler was also a possibility. No matter what circumstances he would have to make sure assassin wasn't nearby at all costs.

Nadina had noticed Caster's lack of a response, simply glaring at him as she was quick to pick up on the 'game' he was playing. She had no problem doing the whole silent treatment. She wasn't in the least bit aware of how silly it really looked to lancer from the outside looking in, something she would personally be better off knowing about from the sheer shame she would feel if she could see how she acted. She heard his little 'full of himself' tone towards lancer, overly exaggerated in her mind already having a little anger directed at him to taint her view of it to be even worst then it really was.

She sat down to enjoy the breakfast, offering Lancer some as well not having an issue sharing. She tended to not be a large eater, primarily in an attempt to keep healthy and in shape. She prided on keeping herself fit, being a large element to magecraft that was often overlooked by the 'rabble' so to speak. She kept as plane as she could while she ate, not allowing her to show any ounce of enjoyment to the meal. She was never going to openly admit it tasted good, to her that would be a 'loss' at this point to give him any sort of compliment.

Finishing up, Nadina didn't hesitate to spend any time parting ways out of the kitchen, giving a look over at lancer to ensure she got to finish her food. She didn't want to unintentionally 'lash out' at her when her attention was fixated solely on Caster, pretty evident at least being as considerate as she was that she wasn't as angry as she let on. She headed to the garage, grabbing the keys as she ventured up to the car, a vibrant blue 2009 Bentley Continental GTC. It was quite apparent the vehicle didn't have much use though was well maintained. The convertible's top was left down. Nadina hoped in the drivers side looking over to Lancer.

"Sorry if its a bit gawky of a car. Truthfully I'm not much of a driver or car fanatic. The church isn't too far away once we get into town." She spoke with a light smile looking at lancer as it was evident she was done playing up her stubborn grumpy mood being out of Caster's eyesight. The door slowly opened up as she put the key into the ignition, starting up the car. Despite her claim to not be much of a driver, she had to admit it was a bit fun starting up a car for the first time, even if it was something she quickly grew bored of.

"We play it cool, and if we have to - then we ditch it," he replied. "We should wait until after school and find a more advantageous ground for fighting, watching if they aren't following us. If they are not, we'll follow them. Regardless, I don't want to mix up innocents in this, Rider," he added shortly after. Takehiko slowed down on his bike, as he was nearing the school he went to. It was early in the morning and not many people passed through the streets, so getting from place to place was rather easy. Finally, he stopped as he had arrived at school. The large building was tall several stories up into the sky, and had numerous windows welcoming whoever walked through the gate. Takehiko walked up the stairs and made his way to the locker room, preparing for the routine, but being on alert in case there was anything dubious going on nearby.

"Master, what would you do when you are confronted with a master?" Rider said. He wanted to hear the amount of confidence that Takehiko has. His walking pace degraded as he was caught up with Takehiko. Arriving upon the school, he could only look around. It was strange to see a building designed for everyone to learn. Not many were able to learn much since schools weren't quite registered. "Also master, please be cautious of assassin," Rider said in his somewhat quiet voice.

Jiro took another sip of his coffee and looked out his kitchen. He had just finished his breakfast and now he was thinking over his plan for the day. His first priority was to find out the identity of the other masters and which master has which servant, if he could find out the servants true identity that would be even better but that probably wouldn't happen. His second priority which he could do at the same time as his first was to locate some more sacrifices for Berserker to keep his servant happy and fed. Finally he had his alliance with Saver and Gatekeeper. It wasn't really much of an alliance, if Jiro was guessing correctly it was more like a waiting game to see which one of the two parties stabs the other in the back.

"An old god hidden deep within the grail, a phrophet who seeks to spread the gods will, A monster who has been freed from the chains of sanity, and a man who chases the dream of Immortality. An interesting team" mumbled Jiro. He took the last sip of his coffee, grabbed his plate from the table, and took the dirty dishes to the sink. Humming lightly to himself he washed the dishes before putting them away. "Berserker we will be heading out today as well. I have a few things I need to check out. Same rules apply as yesterday, you are free to wander in spirit form but do not stray to far from me." he told his servant as he finished his cleaning.

Once he was done with his cleaning he went to get dressed. Throwing on a simple white t-shirt and some standard blue jeans. He lazily combed his hair and added the finishing touch an old pair of black framed glasses. He took a quick look at his command seals and debated what to do about them. After thinking it over he determined it would be best to just keep his hand in his pockets, that way he didn't draw to much attention. Finally he was ready and he headed out the door following the same path as the night before, just this time he didn't go down any alleys.

Archer sat in the dinning room and looked over a newspaper he had collected from the town during the first breaking of the morning sun. It seemed likely more of those creatures would arrive today and it was best if he knew how to minimize the damage that could be done to the people of the city. At the sight of his small Master being lead down the stairs he gave a small nod to the monk and spoke. "Did you rest well?" he placed a fine spread out for her breakfast, from bacon to toast there was enough to feed a full grown man. Having lived in abject poverty for most of his life he had come to appreciate food and the positive feeling a good breakfast could give."

Once she was seated he leaned forward and examined her. For the moment it seemed like the young girl who summoned him was still in control, with whatever hellspawn was riding shotgun was still very much in the cage of her mind. "I have set up some eyes in the city this morning in a few well hidden places, so if the creatures from yesterday rear their heads we won't be caught by surprise." their strategy of staying put and waiting for an attack to come to them was still a good one, but there was a limit to what they could protect against. Against Servant's they were more then well protected, only in the unlikely event that they were attacked by four of the other six Servants at the same time would he imagine them to be at a grand disadvantage. But if an ever growing hoard of monsters attacked them he very much doubted that their defenses would prove enough.

Even with the mana provided by his Master fully using his Noble Phantasm would prove a drain against difficult opponents. Against all but Caster he was sure he could keep an advantage against a foe in direct combat, but against an army of terrors pulled from a madmans nightmare he was less sure that even her impressive mana supply could keep him running indefinitely. "After observing all of our options I believe it is best to discover the nature of the beasts I observed yesterday and figure out how to best stop it."

As Jiro was eating breakfast Berserker was was in the living room sitting down watching the T.V. He was completely engrossed or distracted by the horror movie he was watching. Some of the kills he was keeping in mind for later. But for now his master said it was time to head out which meant he had to go into spirit mode. So with a grunt Berserker turned the T.V. off and turned into a spirt. Soon after he started following his master

Mizore was guided to the table by the monk. "I rested well, thank you for asking" Mizore said with a smile. Mizore listened carefully to Archer as he explained that he set up eyes in the city to a keep an eye out for more of those creatures.

"From our short bit of research we think those creature were of Lovecraft origins. We are of course not experts on it so won't be very helpful in determining your foe." The monk who guided Mizore said to Archer as Mizore began to eat breakfast.

After eating a few bites after Archer said that they should try to figure out how to stop the monster before they became a problem. "I think... I think we should ask help from another team...We don't who or what we are dealing with... And having another few hands may be of help to stopping these... Monsters." Mizore said uncertain of her plan and if even was a good idea.

Overseer's plane had crashed overnight, and news of the plane is yet to be revealed. The incident was, however, purely misfortune. Team Gatekeeper does not even know of the fate of the Overseer.

Chance of Overseer's death: 40% (will be determined on Night One. Pray to RnGesus!!!)

Cultists of the Outer Gods are at work. A maw to the void has been opened and Gatekeeper's summoning is underway. The cultists are currently small in number, and the ritual is progressing rather slowly. Beast's form and location is still unknown, and Saver is currently active, recruiting more cultists. However, the veil that is blocking Ruler is lifted slightly.

Current Number of Cultists: 15
Progress of Void Ritual: 0%
Progress Per Day: 15%

Chance of Ruler Summoned Without Incantaion: 9%
Chance of Summoned Ruler Becoming Blackened: 3%

Location: Outside the Church

The Bentley pulled up into the parking lot of the church, a light sigh escaping Nadina's lips. She grasped lightly onto the sunglasses she wore, placing them on the dashboard for now. She shook her head, her locks a bit disheveled from the wind cascading through it on their drive to the church. Lancer was quick to find out that Nadina wasn't exactly the 'best' driver to say the least. It wasn't hard to question if she even technically had her drivers licence how reckless she could be on her way there speeding and seeming to not pay much attention to general driving laws on the way over. There was a reason she was typically driven around places.

She opened her door stepping outside. She stretched slightly, attempting to be subtle in her gestures not wanting to drop her 'image' in the process. She always tended to have to combat general comfort with what she wanted to do alongside her family image. She glanced over at the church, pulling her phone from her pocket glancing down upon the time.

"Well... not sure if he will be here this early... although I suspect it should be soon. The church is a safe place so you won't be able to venture inside with me. Feel free to do what you like in the meantime, just keep in close proximity enough should something go wrong when I leave the church. I doubt many Masters will be so disgraceful to try anything in broad daylight particularly near the Church." She spoke looking to lancer with a warm smile.
