1ef879b14d7670325d5fe36882d5ed4e--land-rover-admiration.jpg

PERSONA
- To paraphrase a film about wine, he's like a bottle of pinot noir. Well, not a bottle exactly...more like the grape. It takes tender loving care to raise the right stuff, and pinot can only grow in some of the most tucked away corners of the world. Too much sunlight and it shies away. Too much water and it'll drown itself. But given time to nurture, pinot expresses a richness unlike anything you could ever describe.
- Virtues
Vocally gifted, a poet with words.
- Vices
Avoidant, rarely one to face the music (pun intended), quits before he finishes.
- Likes
Guitar, the great outdoors, libraries, soft-spoken people.
- Dislikes
Talkative people, big cities, paparazzi, money.
- Hobbies
Writes and draws comics, goes on long walks, trainspotter, hangs out at rock venues (although less frequently these days).
- Mental ailments (if any)
Unknown mental history. Recently exhibits antisocial behavior.

TABLOIDS
- Lead singer of the band Departure.
- His band released its first album Three Days Blind in 1975, which was certified platinum and sold 5 million albums. The following year, Robbie played a supporting role in the thriller Down River (1976). He was slated to play a gentleman caller named George Baxley in Bombshell (1979) but backed out at the last minute.
- Robbie's developed a reputation for no-showing at venues. It's beginning to harm his career.
- He did several table reads with Lucille Joy in the weeks prior to shooting. He later exited the project for unknown reasons.
- Robbie's behavior has shifted recently from outgoing and personable to withdrawn and quiet. He seems to be avoiding all press.

HISTORY + RELATIONSHIPS
- Not much is known about his early life. His parents owned some farm land out in Pennsylvania where he grew up. At 16 he flunked out of high school and began bussing for a dive bar in East Manhattan. In 1969 he met [insert Eve's name here] backstage at a Jimi Hendrix concert. By that point Robbie was a roadie for a rock group in the Tri-State area, and he and three others from the group formed the band Departure the following year. Robbie and [insert Eve's name here] developed a clamorous relationship as both their stars began to rise. The rest is history...

RACHEL ASHKENOS

Rachel Ashkenos
Heterosexual
Female
Makeup Artist
DOSSIER

- NAME. Rachel Ashkenos
- NICKNAME. None

- AGE. Twenty-seven
- GENDER IDENTITY. Female, she/her
- SEXUAL ORIENTATION. Heterosexual
- ETHNICITY/NATIONALITY. Identifies as half Greek and half African-American

PHYSICAL
- BUILD. Mesomorphic
- HEIGHT. 5'09
- WEIGHT. 145 lbs
- HAIR. A dark, well-kept black
- EYES. A rich deep brown
- STYLE. Rachel can often be found in tight dresses on movie nights which emphasize her curves, but on most days she's a practical woman, wearing button-ups and pencil skirts or trousers. She prefers neutral colors, and standing out in her position does not often go unpunished. She does, however, enjoy styling her hair into a short up-do, and applying subtle but accurate makeup looks with ease.
- DISTINGUISHING FEATURES. Rachel has a scar which extends from her upper lip to the bottom of her chin. It's not as visible as it was in her youth, and is a result of a childhood incident she keeps to herself.
- PHYSICAL AILMENT(S). None
- FACE CLAIM. Donyale Luna

BIOGRAPHY

PERSONA
- SUMMARY. Rachel is a forward and sensitive woman who exudes arrogance, particularly to other women. She utilizes her looks and skill to get what she needs from the men in higher roles than herself, and presents a long series of bad habits, including gambling, lack of remorse, and sometimes unwarranted violence. Because of her abrasive personality and fierce sense of independence, she clashes with other artists and directors regularly. Her work has been featured in a multitude of magazines and on numerous advertisements on the television, which has only served to swell her arrogant thinking.

Underneath this facade of confidence, though, is a woman with deep emotional vulnerability. She nourishes great empathy and sympathy for the underprivileged and weak in spite of herself. She prefers not to stay in the same place for too long and has difficulty trusting those with whom she has business engagements. Another distinctive characteristic of Rachel is her brutal sarcasm (which does not often land) and bitterness, particularly toward men in the arts. She entrusts much of her work on sets with young women like herself, believing their taste to be superior but still chastising them for last-minute adjustments and inconsequential mistakes.

- VIRTUES. Independent, resourceful, sympathetic, analytical, strong social awareness
- VICES. Blunt, untrustworthy, prone to gossip, underhanded, arrogant, brash
- LIKES. The stillness of nighttime, obedience, superficial beauty, drawing, and social chatter
- DISLIKES. Long silences, modern artwork, sarcasm (when it's delivered by anyone but her), and heat
- HOBBIES. Rachel enjoys sailing and drawing on weekends, but most of her time is spent fixing up artists for the red carpet or the film set.
- MENTAL AILMENTS. None

HISTORY & RELATIONSHIPS

Rachel grew up in the backwaters of New Orleans, the home of jazz music and racial violence. Her parents were a lower-middle class couple who worked hard to ensure Rachel's future would be bright. She always performed well in school and took up painting and drawing at an early age. In her twenties, she decided to attend an art school, where she was picked up for an internship by a film company led by local activists who were creating media with the objective of resolving injustices directed toward women and black folks. After finding little success, she was discovered by accident again, and like a miracle, her career was kickstarted into what it is now. She left behind a family and boyfriend to pursue her work and has since then committed tirelessly to her business, hoping to start her own makeup and casting studio in California.

TABLOIDS

- CLAIM TO FAME. Makeup artist who delivered several bold and well-received looks for actresses including Lucille Joy and others

- CAREER SUMMARY. Rachel began as a set artist on local African-American films in New Orleans when she was suddenly picked up as a cast mold modeler on a summer film. She painted and modeled makeup for monsters and creatures for almost half a decade, before she applied for work in Hollywood as a creature artist. When she arrived in California, needs were already fulfilled for this job and she was temporarily transferred to beauty, where her history as a painter on molds allowed her to perform tremendously well and create out-of-the-box designs. In the next year, she was already busy working on several blockbuster films and became a rising star in the industry.

- CONTROVERSIES. When she entered Hollywood, there was some buzz about a black makeup artist working on white women. This didn't cause much of a stir though until she did makeup for Lucille Joy, perhaps the biggest star she'd worked with. Her director defended her and nothing much came of this controversy, but Rachel began to harbor an intense jealousy for the white women in her industry, and perhaps for Ms. Joy herself.

- CONNECTION TO THE DECEASED. Rachel was the makeup artist assigned to her on her latest film, and they had befriended one another over time at red carpet meetups and award shows.

- WHY ARE THEY A PERSON OF INTEREST? Rachel is now under investigation because of her close connection with Lucille Joy, and the recent controversy that occurred regarding the new film put her under the scrutiny of the public eye.
