Name:
Uriel Tzvi Kaplan
-Nickname:
Uri
Age:
Appears to be around 18 or 19, but is currently 29.
Physical Appearance (optional):
Prior to becoming a vampire, Uriel was described as having “boyish good looks.” While he has always been physically described as “scrawny and short,” he still garnered the attention of a few people with his looks. Like all Nosferatu after being infected, his appearance has changed certain features such as his skin, eyes, and teeth. While Uriel has always been described as pale, his current skin tone is almost grayish like other Nosferatu. His eyes that had been a steely gray color most of his life were not pitch black. His teeth, while not as jagged as other Nosferatu, look like several stalagmites and stalactites straightened to a point.
Clothing Style:
Darkly inclined / Gothic. He often wears nice black t-shirts with different designs (i.e. zippers, partial mesh, chains). Depending on what he feels like wearing, he is often seen wearing either TUK sneakers or black combat boots. As for pants, you will probably only see him wearing black skinny jeans/pants (he is a bit self-conscious in how he looks in other pants).
Accessories:
A silver Star of David necklace, various silver and leather bracelets
Weapons: Currently none
Personality:
Uriel is described as being a rather playful individual and is a lot more “innocent” than most vampires. He does have a warm spot for humans, and unlike many other Nosferatu, will not needlessly slaughter them. However like many Nosferatu, Uriel can be somewhat aggressive in demeanor. While many of his species consider him to be immature and weak, many others (especially the older vampires) realize his cunningness.
Other: None

Uriel had been watching them for several nights in a row. First couple of nights had been mild curiosity for the vampire. He had assumed that they had been some new hunters from some backwater place where they witnessed a Nosferatu killing their loved ones. Usually these hunters would wind up dead in a couple days. Often becoming hunted by the creatures they so desperately hunted themselves. However, Uriel noticed that they had not been killed in the entire time he had watched them. These past couple of nights had been more like an obsession for the somewhat young Nosferatu. While he couldn’t track them in the daylight, he would always manage to pick up their scent shortly after the sun set. Today he watched them from the top of a building in a rather marginal area of New Orleans. Uriel couldn’t help but smirk, feeling somewhat giddy. They certainly know where to look. He chuckled to himself. Nosferatu weren’t apex predators for nothing. They would often target people who wouldn’t be missed. While some certainly didn’t discern their “food source” and would target whoever they pleased. Other Nosferatu who would settle down in the area wouldn’t want to garner any attention, especially from Operation Red-Blooded.

Uriel watched the pair with a close eye as they made their way out from their hotel, this would be their third or fourth one since Uriel started stalking them. Which meant they were smart enough to change their pattern. The changing of locations would make it harder for a vampire to narrow down where they were staying. The pair would often stick close to one other, usually only separating for short times to scout an area. Typically Uriel would make a little game out of which one to follow. Which one would rub at their neck first or who would subconsciously grab at their concealed weapon first. However, tonight they wouldn't give him much of a choice. He watched as one went into one of the crowded bars or clubs and the other would make their way down the alleyway. Unfortunately, Uriel wasn’t a fan of the music blasting from the particular club that the hunter went into. So, he decided to stalk the one who had gone down the alley. Quietly and quickly, he jumped from one building to the next. He leaned on the parapet of the building, watching the human with curious eyes.

Name: Holly
-Nickname: Her friends/family call her Bee or Thorn affectionately, because she's 'their prickly little girl'- stemming from the fact that she's the youngest in her family.
Age: 23
Physical Appearance (optional):
Distinguishing Characteristics: She's mostly deaf in her right ear due to an accident as a child. Her nails are kept short and the pads of her fingers are rough and thick due to her hobby, playing guitar. Holly's hair is dyed green.
Clothing Style: Practical and work clothes. She wears a lot of dark colors and canvas clothing that's scratchy to the touch.
Accessories: She has a little green turtle in the biggest pocket of her pants. It's carved from a green stone and reminds her of her mother and family.
Weapons: Holly carries a long wooden staff that's sharpened to a point at one end, and she uses this as her primary weapon. She also has a few serrated throwing axes that she uses when needed. The staff straps across her back.
Personality: Much like a lot of her possessions, Holly is rough and spiky. She's a cautious person and cold until she knows a person. She's also got a lightning-quick wit and a rapier tongue.
Other: Holly plays guitar to unwind, and she adores blueberries.

12:10 AM CST

Holly ducked into an alley quietly. Her partner was headed into a bar- yeah, not really her thing. Thanks, though. She continued to stalk down the hidden alley, cursing the cold under her breath. Usually, the weight of the staff across her back was comforting. A way to say 'You're in control. Don't worry, Bee. Get it together.' She rubbed her temples with a little sigh. She wished her partner had joined her, but they preferred the bar. That was fine. It's fine. Go in there and trade glory stories with those strangers. Sure. Holly gripped her arms and stiffened suddenly. The usual numb buzzing of her right ear had been punctuated by a whooshing sound. Before she could blink, her eyes were fixing on the building above her.

"Hello?" She whispered hoarsely, reaching for her staff off her back. She pulled it off and held it out in front of herself stiffly.

Name:
Reginald "Reggie" Hearth
-Nickname: Reggie is the nickname he exclusively goes by
Age:
22
Physical Appearance (optional):
Reggie is a 6'3 pale man with gray hair, a result of premature graying which runs in his family. He's somewhat scrawny in appearance but despite that he's still physically strong and fairly fit.
Distinguishing Characteristics:
His gray hair as well as dark bags under his eyes.
Clothing Style:
Reggie has a pretty stereotypical greaser style, often sporting a leather jacket overtop a white tank top. His jeans are torn and he has worn-down boots.
Accessories:
Surprising considering his personality, but he doesn't have many.
Weapons:
Has a practical knife and stake on him, but his flashy self keeps a baseball bat on him and uses it as his primary weapon.
Personality:
Reggie is a cocky and overconfident person who often acts without much thought. Despite this, he's fairly skilled when it comes to combat and has a way of blending into most social groups he encounters. Reggie's extremely extroverted and enjoys things like parties.
Other:
N/A

The bar was loud and crowded; Exactly the way Reggie liked it. Crowded meant more people to watch. He wasn't planning on staying too long, Reggie knew it wasn't right to just leave Holly alone like this, but when they were near a crowded bar he really couldn't help himself. The man had his bat with him, not something commonly seen in bars but something he carried nonetheless. If anyone asked he could spin some tale about being a baseball player. That was the sort of thing he enjoyed: Making up fun stories about himself to total strangers. Reggie could change the story every time and no one would be the wiser.

Reggie approached the bar, his intent to purchase a single shot and then get back out to Holly. That's what he had promised, at least. Maybe she wouldn't mind if he got two? He wouldn't even have to mention it, after all.

Uriel made sure to keep hidden. Sharp ears for a human. He thought with a small smirk. His eyes watched her pull her staff from its holster and he couldn't help but feel curious on what she intended to do with it. Perhaps they were more like novices than he thought. There was only two ways to take down a vampire: sunlight (or something with a strong enough UV) or decapitation. Perhaps they have an ace up their sleeve. He twisted his head to the side and rubbed at his neck. Either way, he wasn't going to risk the chance of undermining his supposed enemy. His solid black eyes kept focused on the girl below him.

Holly's heart thumped. She turned around, making sure to keep her good ear to the source of the noise. Y'know, maybe the bar's not so bad. Holly could wait outside. It's fine. She's ok. Her gaze fixed back on her feet and she walked quickly back down the alley.
It had been. Two. Minutes. Why couldn't she hang on and keep herself under control. Argh. She jammed her hands into her pockets and slipped her staff across her back again.

"Hm..." Uriel sighed as he watched the young woman make her way back down the alley. Maybe she didn't actually hear me. He thought and lifted himself from his crouched position. He slowly made his way over to the other side of the building. She was obviously going to go back to her partner, so that really limited the options Uriel had. Once at the other ledge of the building, he stuck one foot over and jumped down. He landed gracefully on both feet, making it look as if he had just skipped a step on a stair rather than jumping from a several-story tall building. Guess I have no other choice but to go inside. At least there I'll get to see them up close. The Nosferatu thought. With his mind focused, he began to use an ability that vampires have used to disguise themselves around humans. It would transfer his blood to his face to give it a warm look, condense his fang to look like somewhat normal teeth, and make his eyes appear somewhat normal with white sclera. While Uriel had practiced it for some time, it was still hard to maintain as it required quite a bit of focus. Hopefully they won't see through the disguise. He thought as he made his way outside of the alley he was walking down. He assumed that the hunter was making her way alongside the opposite alleyway to the bar.

At the entrance to the bar, Holly slumped to the ground. She settled on the cold concrete, deciding to wait. She was freaked out, sure, but her desire to be alone overrode that a thousand times. Reggie had better be out soon. She pulled her knees to her chest and laid her cheek on her knees lightly. Holly's eyes flicked up as an unknown man sauntered towards the barn. Probably some cocky young hunter who saw a goldfish in the wild and was going to tell the epic tale of their battle. Most new guys were like that. Sure, Holly was newer, but she'd heard some old-timers discussing it and she could spot the signs now. The older guys like to embellish their tales, but that was goodhearted joking. They didn't mean it. This kid, however, could've passed for a vampire himself. Holly didn't care, though. No vampire'd walk into a bar of hunters.

"Woo!" Reggie yelled, slamming his third shot back down onto the bar. He hadn't formally introduced himself to anyone but he had managed to merge himself in with a preexisting group already. His eyes flickered over the handful of shots he got through and when the realization hit that there was more than one there he uttered a quiet curse under his breath. Holly had to be angry by now. Reggie leaned back away from the bar, huffing out a sigh before moving towards the bar's exit. The man had to weave his way through handfuls of people to make it to the exit, pushing the door open in reckless abandon. Luckily, his departure into the crowd covered up the fact he had failed to pay for the final shot, which he didn't feel bad about because it was all way over priced. As Reggie exited the building he glanced around, only to see Holly sitting right by the entrance.

"Heyyy, stranger!" Reggie made his presence known with a laugh, squatting down to be at Holly's eyelevel. "What's wrong? You look lost." He grinned at Holly, tilting his head to the side as he poked fun at her.

Surprisingly, the male hunter was outside of the door as soon as Uriel was a few yards away. Uriel watched as he stumbled a little out of the entryway, indicating he had a few before departing the bar. The vampire could even smell the liquor coming off of him. "You two cuties having fun?" Uriel winked as he walked past off them, knowing that one definitely had some fun. His lips were quirked up into a playful grin and there was a playful glint in his eyes. "You look kind of sick. Y'all doing alright?" He stopped to look back at them, his eyes focused on the green-haired woman.

"Reginald, we have been working together for three MONTHS-" Holly's tirade was cut off by the approach of the totally-human man. "Fine, thanks. My partner here and I were just about to head back to our hotel because he got hammered after promising not to." She got to her feet and brushed herself off briskly. "God, Reggie." she mumbled just to him. "Couldn't you not for once in your life?" Sighing deeply again, the hunter tossed her hair over her shoulder and looked back to the stranger. "Well, have a good night anyway."

"Wasted?!" Reggie placed a hand against his own chest in a display of mock-offense. "It was three shots! That's nothing! Don't blame me for your inability to handle alcohol." Reggie teased his friend before addressing the newcomer. "I feel great, not sure about her." The man playfully pat Holly's shoulder as he spoke to the stranger. He met Uriel's eyes curiously, tilting his head to the side as he examined the other. "What're you up to so late, anyways?" Reggie asked.

(Can't believe I missed PeriwinkleSky PeriwinkleSky 's message lol.)
"Hm... Oh, you know. Nothing quite like a nightly stroll. You two best be careful, a lot of things go bump here in the night." Uriel gave them both a toothy grin. "You sure I can't help y'all back. He does seem a bit wasted." The Nosferatu gave them a concerned look. "No offense." He countered to the man who seemed to be weighing himself on the green-haired girl. "I'll buy y'all a round at your hotel's bar, or the closest bar to your hotel." He winked at the girl, somehow trying to communicate that he wanted to help her with her drunk friend. She probably thinks I'm a creep. He thought with a shrug.
