Background
With the destruction of their Homeworld, the gems under The Duality have taken to the stars in order to try and find a new home. Their journey lasted what felt like centuries before they spied a little planet that seemed to be perfect. This planet was supposed to be uninhabited but it was soon found to be teeming with life. The Duality, deciding that diplomacy would be the best option, sent down an away party to try and establish communications with the sentient species there. Unfortunately, nothing could ever be easy for the Diamonds and their people.
The Planet
The planet is vibrant and green with plenty of foliage coming in all sorts of colors. There are some small civilizations nestled within the trees and little to no technology. There are several large bodies of water and streams. Overall, it is teeming with life and resources
Not even this seeming paradise is free of its own dangers. The fauna of this planet seem to come with their own dangers. There is also the weather and strange phenomena that can occur. Fortunately, animals can be fought off if needed and weather can be avoided if it is detected early on.
The sentient species of this planet are known as Krauven. They are tall, graceful beings with pointed ears that are capable of movement. Their eyes are typically one solid color with a darker spot indicating where the pupil is. They have wings which are unique to each individual. Young Krauven have a set of insect like legs just below their ribs. These legs eventually shrivel and fuse to the body as the Krauven reaches maturity. Males are typically smaller than females. They are considered full grown adults by the age of 25 if counted in human years
Two important figures of their society are The Matriarch and The Sage. The Matriarch is the leader of their society. This role is normally passed down from mother to middle daughter if she had more than one daughter. If no children were born to the Matriarch then The Sage will be the one to choose the next leader. The Sage can be either male or female. They are associated with interpreting signs from the gods and healing their people. They are also the main advisor to The Matriarch.

The Duality is a pair of diamonds in charge of the gems going on this mission. They are known as Red and Violet Diamond. They are considered the opposites of each other. The Duality tends to balance each other out. Due to the destruction of their Homeworld, they have been traveling the stars to try and find a new home for themselves and their gems. Red is associated with warm colored gems while Violet is associated with cool colored gems. They allow fusions between different gems so long as it is to make themselves stronger. They frown upon permanent fusions.
