Aka's a lil' grump. He isn't exactly the kindest to everyone, and tends to get pissed very easily. He hates being called cute, or anything close to it. He's a quiet one who isn't a huge fan of socializing. Aka works hard at the things he has to do and puts all of his effort into it (unless he deems it unnecessary). He's a big grump and tends to act like he hates/doesn't care about people, but he's a very loyal friend and is pleased when everyone else is pleased.

Biography

Aka was born to a brilliant magician and headmaster of a father and a wonderful scientist of a mother. His sister, who was 8 years older than him, had studied hard and had gotten outstanding grades... so naturally everyone expected Aka to get the same grades. He was constantly under the stress of being as good as his sister was. When Aka was old enough, his parents made him study magic (just like they made his sister). So yeah, that's what's he's doing now.

Mei is a ball of energy and enthusiasm, embracing and loving her young appearance and taking advantage of it as well as possible. She loves cute things and being cute, and she's quite childish. Mei's pretty chill about everything (she will get angry, but it's really just the temporary, "i hate you but lol nah i'm just acting angry I love you" anger) and is overall positive about everything. While on the outside Mei is being a naive, clumsy little girl, on the inside Mei's calculating and analyzing. She may act a bit dumb and immature, but she's definitely very smart.

Biography

Mei was born to a talented magician of a father and a brilliant scientist of a mother. Her father was a headmaster of the local school, and, as customary to the family, had forced both his children to go to school to learn magic. They weren't expected to be professional magic users or something, but they most certainly had to have mastery over their magic. So Mei went to school, studied hard, and became a very skilled fan/parasol magic user.

Mei decided she wanted to be a teacher, and started working at Crystal Rivers. She has been teaching there for only a year, and while it has been rough, Mei is working hard and has earned a liking from a lot of her previous students.

  Appearance: Stefan has the appearance of a young man with a height of 5 ft 8 inches and a skinny build, weighing at 147 lbs. His hair has the colour of a crow black, with a long length, and reaches down pass his neck and can be a bit of a hassle for him when they go down his face as they tend to do. His eyes are the color of pure black and have very visible bags under them. He has thin eyelashes and thin eyebrows, and a face with angular features. His body is covered in bandages to cover up some gruesome scars left over from the time of his death, them being some severe burn marks. Though what killed him was a stab through the chest, which now has a small hole.

  Before his eventual death and sudden reanimation at the young age of 16, Stefan was like any other normal human kid. He had a life, had. Before his turn to the undead, Stefan was person who had a talent when it came to art. It was a talent that he usually kept to himself and only thought of as a hobby. Usually creating art as to satisfy himself, ranging from paintings with dark themes of death, torture and the likes to ones that involve a thief-like character making getaways after successful robberies. The paintings he loved working on were the ones involving a thief in it, and it always seemed to be a single thief he drew himself. He had a strange obsession with thieves.
  
  Academically, he was just an average student though. He did just fine, and had friends who he hung out with sometimes. Most of the time, he just spent his time creating art. And as he continued to just spend time on this hobby of his, Stefan eventually decided to unveil his art to the world. Through the internet of course. Under the alias of XHill or simply X, he decided to show off his art to the digital world. Eventually getting recognition for it and a bit of fame. Doing commissions at times and even streaming a lot, talking to his many different fans as they requested on what he should be drawing. Wearing a mask he made himself to hide his face from being seen so noone would find out about his identity. When he didn't do that, he spent his time watching videos and shows.
  
  During one of the school holidays where he had tons of free time to do with his secret hobby, it was the day of his death. Stefan's family and him were coming back home from a trip, driving along a narrow rode at the side of a mountain. While driving, they had an accident and the car had driven off of the road, sending the family to their impending deaths. But just as the car was about to fall and then continuously roll down until the base of the mountain, Stefan had a sudden impulse to just get the fuck out of the car now. Getting this strong feeling of just not wishing to die at all, opening the door quickly before just jumping out in hopes of an increased chance of survival and saying 'I am not gonna fuckin' die today,' as he did.
  
  But it didn't, he only died as well. The car was the one to roll first and he was next. It was certainly the most painful thing he'd ever experienced, rolling down a mountain fast and everything just hurt. He couldn't stop if he wanted to, and only continued to experience the pain. Hitting rocks and shit, getting cuts from things he hit. The car got down first, of course and went up in flames. And just as Stefan was about to land onto the base of the mountain, the car exploded and sent him flying a bit away from the site and had a piece of car debris fly to the same direction of him. A large and on fire piece of it piercing through him, and a tree just so happened to be behind them so it pierced through the tree and bolted him there. And laid there motionless, dead. His clothes catching fire from the small flame the piece of car carried with it, eventually giving severe burn marks to him.
  
  It was all black after that, as it would be. However, Stefan had refused to die just there. The feeling of nothingness and peace was what he felt in the period he was still dead, but it disappeared and he awoke back into life but only for a small glimsp. He could feel the thing pierced through him and saw for a brief moment what appeared to be the authorities, no more fire, body bags of his family and people getting him off the tree before blacking out again. Next thing he knew, he awoke inside a casket at his own funeral.
  
  A closed casket, and he opened it then sat himself up to see his surroundings. A church he was in, he noticed. Judging from what the people around him were wearing, it was his funeral. Meaning he died but just to confirm it, he asked with a calm tone, "Is this my funeral?" And now he could see the faces of all the people, his relatives and a few of his friends, looking shocked. And now that he asked that question, he feels a strange sensation in his chest and goes to check it. He felt a hole and looking at his hands, he noticed burn marks all over as well as his own pulse which he had none. "So it is." And he laid back into the casket and sighed. Internally, he was screaming about how he's even still here.
  
  All the things he checked on his own body says that he's supposed to be dead right now, and noticed a change in his skin color with it being more pale. Not having noticed that now some people fainted, and now some were getting up from their seats and coming over to him to hug him with tears in their eyes. But to him, he was the one that was shocked the most. How the hell he even came to still be here was probably a miracle but with the existence of magic maybe someone did this to him, reanimated him. Then coming to the conclusion that it was all just the stupidest thing he'd ever thought of. Now that he was really thinking about this, he was left speechless by this. Whatever it was, he was only thankful that he was still here in a state that's between life and death.
  
  For the next few days, he had multiple check ups from his doctor. Saying the same thing he thought of, that it should be impossible that he's alive. His heart wasn't beating, no pulse and generally everything about him screamed dead. Especially the hole in his chest. Stefan came to live with his Auntie and Uncle after this incident. He felt sad about all of this though with the family he loved being gone now, he for some reason just felt guilty for being undead and them not. A good thing about this was that he had no more school, and so he could lay low now and just continue with the one thing he still has left, his passion for drawing art.
  
  Stefan continued his normal life, though just questioned his very existence and still did his thing as XHill. Some days, he'd spent sulking and thinking about his dead siblings and parents as well as his own reanimation. He just seemed more sad. And with this recent incident, he had a sudden interest when it came to magic. Reading about it, trying to get to know about anything that could be related to how he was still here. But found nothing. And since he was now interested in magic. He said to himself why not and wanted to apply for the only magic school he knows of. That being Crystal Rivers. Though it had to wait until next year.
  
  And next year came, so he applied and managed to get in. Now, he is to start his life as a Crystal Rivers freshman.

  Miralynn tends to be a general a longer typically shying away from speaking with others. She has a strong fixation on her studies attempting to do her best in classes, aided by her high intellect. She is extremely observant, often taking in details or making mental notes of people and things around her often fixating so sharply on particular details she looks to be dozing off in the process. She tends to act kind around others putting up a sweet front around people.
  
  When she warms up to others she can show a general playfulness to her demeanor. Compared to her normally strict 'by the book' persona many know her by she can actually be very light hearted about completing tasks, much to the dismay of those who suspect her to be the type that would be dedicated to completing something paticular for school projects. Much of her careful demeanor tends to be fueled by her willingness to finish work herself in the end, even if it ends up overworking herself in the process taking all responsiblity on her.
  
  Deep down Mira tends to lack much as far as empathy working from a purely logical standpoint. While she will typically try and show such a trait when it comes to her friends she tends to have an emotional disconnect. Something as drastic as death doesn't hold any sway over Mira's emotions often dismissing such things as 'an inevitability' even if it might be someone close to her. Much of her warm demeanor tends to be artificially created as a way of fitting in being very talented at hiding away her cold logical side. When it does show itself, she can come off as a cold blooded merciless killer, able to put on a warm smile while thinking little of taking a life.

  Mira stands at 5'3 with a general slightly above average shaped frame. Her hair appears to be a very light almost whitish green color that reaches down just past her hips. Her eyes are both blue, although her left eye (artificial eye) is a slightly lighter shade then her right, usually not noticeable unless looked at very closely. On her left side of her body roughly 1/4th of the way through without the use of makeup a very faint line can be noticed on her skin extending down from the top of her head down her eye and going all the way down stopping right before her leg which is where her artificial parts of her body connect with her frame. Typically its not something that is noticeable even on close inspection due to the use of some makeup and can be hidden by her clothing.
  
  Mira tends to favor clothing that covers up the center of her body disliking the use of more revealing outfits in order to cover the imperfection connecting her real body to the artificial portions. On the rare occasions she ever does show her skin more she will only do so with the use of makeup to help cover up that fault. While she does use makeup to hide the defect on her fact, she tends to be very mild in its application preferring simply to make herself look more normal rather then going too elaborate in 'dolling' herself up. She tends to dress in more muted colors not trying to stand out too much though she does appreciate wearing nicer dresses at times.

  Miralynn's past is one of a darker nature. At the age of three, both of her parents perished in what was deemed an accident. She was taken in the custody of her older half brother Damien. A magic user himself, Damien often was devote in his own studies often causing much of Mira's time around her older brother in the middle of experimentation. Damien's ambition was vast seeking new knowledge attempting to push the art of magic beyond its known limits. Such ambitions can lead a man to resort to terrible things.
  
  Mira found herself the subject of some of her brother's experiments even at a young age. Having no where else to go being her only family Mira found a sense of dislike for what he did but still didn't want to give up her brother. It was through a more an experiment gone wrong that Mira found herself gravely injured, unintentionally being entangled in a lab accident gone horribly wrong hurting her brother as well. She lost much of the left side of her body, going so far as to completely lose her arm and leg with her eye, lung, and kidney being damaged beyond repair.
  
  Her brother utilized his knowledge attempting a desperate attempt utilizing some of his previous research in an attempt to repair parts of her injured body creating an artificial frame to replace her missing organs and limbs. The experiment worked, creating a rather clay like rough replacement of her body that effectively served not only to give her a replacement lung but also to give her limbs back and fix the damage done to her. The earliest forms of his work came off rough very much coming off 'inhumane' almost monstrous although overtime adapting it in a way to blend in and look more natural, minimizing how obvious it was on her body.
  
  As the years went by, Mira grew to possess a similiar passion for magic, and a similar disconnect from the world her brother had. She found herself striving to understand magic better. Despite her replacement limbs being found unable to utilize magic through them like a normal human limbs would, she found ways to adapt around it. Her brother worked to give her an experimental eye to help her further her study, in his own way seeking to 'help' her. She became devote in her desire to excel despite her general disability and unique condition she pushed to be enrolled in the Academy in order to garnish her knowledge and become far more experienced.

  When it comes to non magical weaponry, Mira relies upon the use of throwing daggers. The daggers serve as a discrete weapon able to be hidden away on her body. The ability to be thrown allows her great versatility, adding with her ability to overload them with Arcane magic acting as magical explosives if needed.
  
  Summoned: Sword with a Magic Chain
  A shorter blade attacked with a 15 foot retractable line attached to her left arm. The blade itself is conjured consisting of pure green light existing of pure raw magical energy. The line can be attached to the blade at the handle with ease locked on as needed. The line itself is made out of special carbon fiber meant to be made more durable for the use of throwing the blade with less worry of it being cut.
  
  Artificial Limbs
  Mira's left side (Nearly 1/4th of her body) is artificial. Her left arm and leg, eye, and left lung are are created through special means, along with portions of her body in order to complete her body. These portions of her body are created using a special material, able to replicate to some extent her body being generally claylike in their composition, with her arms and legs being fully comprised of such material. Due to this, these parts of her body have a general resistance to magic able to withstand it to a greater extent then a normal human body, being more durable.
  
  Unfortunately these artificial portions also come at a cost. She is unable to channel magic through these portions of her body, whether to cast a spell, or through the use of magic that should enhance her body having no effect on those parts of her body. While generally magic resistant, strong effects that nullify magic can nullify her body to work, particularly dangerous given one of her lungs are created through such a material effectively greatly limiting her ability to breath (particularly in extraneous circumstances) while in such an effect. Only her brother knows how to repair her body, Mira lacking the ability (at the moment) to repair her own body should she suffer damage.

She's actually very kind and generous; she just enjoys playing up the necromancer stereotype.

Bio: It all started when she was nine. Molly's golden retriever, Becky, died suddenly one night. She woke up to find her beloved pet lying unresponsive. Crying, Molly wished that Becky would come back... and to her shock, the dog's tail started wagging. Somehow, instinctively, Molly knew that she had done this, that she had brought Becky back from the dead.

The next step was researching how her powers worked. After a lot of time on the internet, Molly learned how to conjure up thoughts and memories from dead bodies, though actual reanimations are still difficult for her to sustain.

Bio: Stanley comes from a comes from a very strict home, which he grew up to hate. He had a twin brother who was a natural export in magic at a very young age, and because of this his parents neglected Stanley. Every time Stanley would do something his parents didn't like he would be punished, but every time he would do something good, he would be neglected while his brother would be praised for everything he did. When Stanley was at the age of 17, he ran away and eventually ended up in up in Crystal Rivers. While there, he was taken in by an old blacksmith. The blacksmith was kind and thought Stanley how to make weapons. Stanley, after practicing and with some guidance from the old blacksmith, got really good at making weapons and got fascinated with it. The blacksmith saw potential in the boy and started to suggested the study of runic magic so he could start making magical blades, plus it would let him interact with people of his age range. The boy was hesitant about magic because of his history, but eventually agreed and sighed up to the school in Crystal Rivers.

Bio: Aermik was always aloof even at a young age, never wanting to play with others and instead spending his days staring at the sky, wondering what lay beyond it. He found solace in readings of angels, of the Divine and it's goodness. He began practicing once he discovered the bare bones minimum of divine and light magic. Over the years his abilities were honed and refined. They went from basic moves and abilities to full fledged unique techniques that used a mix of human ingenuity, martial arts, and divine teaching. He then set out to use these abilities and began saving local villages by "vanquishing" any demon that may be plaguing them. (Note: This usually went down with him sheepishly asking if they'd be super dramatic after fighting with him for a bit and quietly leave whoever hired him alone. It typically worked so long as whoever he was fighting was either bored or realized they might actually be in trouble and it wasn't worth the risk to really fight him. He hasn't actually killed any demons.)

This was fine and well until one day, he came across a truly fearsome demon, one that rocked the very essence of his heart and soul, a full fledged royal succubus by the name Lady Sanguine was ravaging a small village, no large village, actually no it was definitely a country with her evil and corrupt magics. Aermik, bravely took a stand against her, knowing that this may be his final and truly heroic act, he fought her to a stalemate, light against dark, good vs evil, magic against magic, brains vs brawn! The showdown was one of epic proportions, all onlookers swore that they felt the presence of the entire universe in their match. But through dark magic the evil Lady Sanguine gained the upperhand and managed to defeat Aermik who fell to the ground yelling in pain and in agony of defeat, laying at her feet, the hero finally vanquished. In his moments of anguish, he offered her the only thing he could that may ensure his survival, his unending servitude as her pet and consort. She of course accepted and thus began their relationship of master and servant.*

*according to Aermik. What actually happened is he got roped into helping her club and she decided he would be a good sparring partner to inspire the fellow members. Halfway through the fight he made a huge display of how much stronger she was and fell to the ground randomly and gracelessly. He then offered to be her "loyal servant" which essentially meant he offered to be a training dummy when she asked so he could go take a nap like he originally wanted to before getting roped into helping her.

Name: Felicity Kurai

Species: Shadow Caster- Shadow Casters have humanoid appearances, looking identical to them with the same anatomy, besides the teeth- Shadow Casters have nothing but sharp canine teeth. The difference is that Shadow Casters are capable of controlling shadows that form on the ground. For example, Felicity could expand her shadow (cast on the ground by the sun) and turn it into long, thin, jagged, piercing 'tentacles' which can be controlled and slash, cut and hack away at targets at rapid speeds. However this ability cannot be performed if there is no light source casting shadows anywhere (so basically it can't work in pitch black areas) and she is not skilled in using the tentacles for anything but blindly slashing in fury, which can be easily avoided by someone who is almost peak human in terms of reaction time and agility. Shadow Casters are also generally faster and more agile than humans and have a faster reaction time.

Appearance: Felicity has long dark hair, with choppy shoulder-length bangs. It is not uncommon for her to have a few ribbons tying up the hair and creating some individual strands. She stands at 5'1" and has short legs and arms with small hands and feet- these make her look very young. Felicity has a particularly skinny build (despite having a ravenous hunger). Her irises are a piercing green which is a contrast to her fair skin, she often has a friendly expression on her face to try and appear likeable and friendly to others. Her teeth are all pointed (similar to the human canine) which is typical of her race, her fourth tooth from the front on the left side is chipped because of the physical abuse she received during her time in her previous school. She has thin lips, eyelashes and eyebrows and a small pointed nose.
When trying to control shadows Felicity's eyes are filled with a white mist- hiding her eyes- and a long black shadow appears and stretches down from the bottom of her eye to the bottom of her face.

Bio: Felicity comes from a rather broken home, her mother ran away with another man when Felicity was just six years old, old enough to grow attached to her mother but not old enough to understand why she ran away. Her father has been trying his hardest to raise her alone. Her father, Selim Kurai, despite his pure intentions has a demanding job and often cannot be with his daughter- this has caused Felicity to become somewhat shy and socially inept due to a lack of social exposure.
The most interaction she'd participate in would be with the kids at her old school- they were entirely human there and she was forced to restrain her shadow abilities in order to fit in- causing her to become inexperienced in using her shadows. Of course her quiet nature made her the subject of bullying, it reached its peak when Felicity was 14. She was pushed to the ground and punched square in the mouth (this incident caused her tooth to chip) one day by her usual bullies, all because she wanted to pass by them as they were blocking the corridor. Using her shadows she severely injured all three of her usual bullies and eleven bystanders in a blind vengeance and as a result of her actions she was expelled from that school and had to relocate with her father (also a reason why she is coming to Crystal Rivers after she spent some time undergoing counselling and anger management programmes).
She is glad she is able to come to school where some other non-humans will be present. After her experiences in her old school Felicity has a resentment for humans, she tries her best to hide it however.

Personality: Felicity is predominantly anxious, but she doesn't really show it anymore because of what happened when she stayed quiet before. Instead she tries to hide it by speaking a little too much when uncomfortable. Felicity grows attached to people who offer friendship very quickly and will genuinely care about them if they care about her back, this may sometimes come across as desperate for affection and attention. She also appears to be somewhat naïve due to her lack of a social background. Although anxious and jittery she is usually cheerful and never really looks too upset. Felicity, seemingly in an uncharacteristic manner still has a violent temper when pushed too far, although it is hard to bring it out of her because of the counselling she received (and even harder to stop once she loses it). She is also probably the worst liar in the whole world. Felicity will never be outright rude or pick on anyone, and despite her secret resentment for humans she's willing to try and become friends with everyone (although she'll go for humans last if she was given the choice).
