I used to low-key godmod. My introduction to forum RP came after my introduction to improvisational acting, so I thought you were a good RP partner if you made suggestions like you might in an improv game. I'd throw my partner's character somewhere, mostly putting them in a setting/scene and running with it. Thankfully, I don't think I controlled the characters past that. After I discovered this cringe-worthy mistake, I confronted my partner about it and all they said was, 'Yeah, I wondered why you did that.' No one even told me. I had to find out for myself.
