Other Copied & pasted text gets altered

For one of my projects, I need to manage a lot of info. I copy and paste different "templates" with colored text in certain areas to make stuff look better. Most of the time, when I copy and paste to duplicate it, the text loses its color, and screws up in other ways too.

idk it's not overly important but it pisses me off so whatever

I suggest copying and pasting the direct BBCode. You can switch off the Rich Text Editor, and it will show you the raw BBCode. If you copy that, and paste it into the editor with the RTE still off, then it should appear the same.
