Trish sighed as she heard people demanding she show herself. She cocked her head to the side and glanced towards the people in her peripheral vision, in the adjacent car. They’re sharp, but clearly not cops or guards. “Not trying to hide,” Trish called back to the farmer, the blue beast, and the superhero. “Now what do we have here?” Her hands rested on her hips, her relaxed demeanor contrasting the threatening devil arm she carried.

The train had passed the city walls; no one must have been expecting the additional cargo. She saw an opportune exit and motioned with her head, ready to hop off with the group and continue this conversation on the ground.

  • It was certainly an odd feeling, walking up to a stall with a cat calling and hawking his wares.

    …A cat.

Well… there was plenty of other weird stuff here. She was pretty sure the blond dude had bees crawling all over him.

She strode up to the stand and eyed the wares. “I need components for a radio. I need to be able to send a signal out, and I’d like to boost my range…” she started sifting through the metal pieces. Most were junk. But that was fine: Heidi Holloway could work with that.

Blaise focused on calming down his horse, glancing at Lucario when he expressed his concern.
"Yeah, we're alright. He's just a little spooked is all, he does this sometimes."

He finally got the mustang to calm down, or at least calm enough to stop kicking. Blaise patted Wyld Fyre's neck before dismounting. He then noticed the little contraption-looking-thing and the others talking to it.

"What's goin' on?" He asked, just generally confused since he had been distracted with his horse.

When Nate had arrived at the grand city of ice and snow, he was a bit lost in it all, the city had a domineering appearance from below but walking around and aking a few people but most were uncooperative due o Nate's abnormal attire and giant spear that hung across his back. He wouldn't blame them, he does look a bit ominous with his almost all-black suit and the Psimitar on his back. But eventually, he got some directions to go to a specific trading post that was overseen by a talking cat....which was weird at first but he knew to expect anything from a place like this. Nate could've obviously used his telepathic abilities to invade the minds of the people near him but he never liked doing that, it felt very immoral and rude to him and his mother taught him better.

As he got closer to the stand, Nate can see a black cat wearing a miniature sized robe of a classic stereotypical mage, an armored medieval-like man with an axe strapped behind him, a thin but pale-looking man with elvish features that made Nate think what manner of being they were because he had a feeling he would know, a female wearing clothing one would expect to go with in a jungle expedition and lastly a very masculine and well-built man, which rather caught his eye at first, wearing a kind of advanced suit from an era he didn't recognize. The "costumer" or person that was conversing with the talking cat was fairly normal looking than the rest of the people, though he looked a bit frail, it was still reminiscent of his time period from his world.

Walking up to the group he stood a few feet behind the individual (Heidi, Sleipnir Sleipnir ) as they were talking to the cat, close enough to be seen though.

Shadow:

He closed his eyes and tried to fall asleep. Though something didn't sit well with him. Was he the last of his universe? Surely if someone else of his universe was here, the virus would go crazy. He didn't know why but he decided to let the virus take over for now. It covered him in a silver liquid that turned red when it fully covered him.

Doe refused to let his guard down despite Trish's relaxed demeanor. She didn't seem to have ill intentions being here, but he couldn't say that for certain. Not in a place like this, they would have to be careful. The shadow of an inner city gate arch caught his eye momentarily. They were almost to the station, they needed to jump before the cargo crew spotted them. This was not the time for their little group to have a stand off.
Luckily, Trish seemed to have the same idea. He nodded silently in agreement with the stranger. Her suggestion caused him to relax a little, if she was truly bent on hurting them, she would probably made an effort to keep them on the train, not suggest leaving for a more open, and as Doe was starting to realize looking out of the cart, public setting.. Making sure to keep Trish in his sights, he walked over to Twigs and swung onto her back.
"We don't have time for this, we need to jump now--Sonic you first, if you dont mind."
He said. Sonic was the oldest right? He should be fine jumping on his own, then he could help Danny and Link while Doe stayed to make sure this stranger didn't try anything. He didn't plan to jump until the rest of his group was off the train.

Hearing the strange, artificial-sounding voice, Lucario turned his attention away from Blaise and Wyld Fyre, and to the machine. He held back a laugh, at the machine's attempt to look tough, but Lucario was sure that the machine couldn't survive a blast of his signature move, Aura Sphere. Of course, he didn't want to act until he knew what they were dealing with.

"It seems that a strange machine managed to find us somehow. It's trying to look tough, but I think that it's a lot weaker than it looks." Lucario answered Blaise, taking his attention away from the machine, not before saying something else, this time to the robot.

"Thanks, but I don't know how much help you can be." Lucario said.

  • “Kahjit, are you?” Heidi mumbled, though she seemed far more focused on the pieces she’d sifted out and set aside. “We call ‘em cats at home. In Appalachia.”

‘Home’ may have been a stretch to most. After all, few felt at home in a radioactive wasteland, where mutant bears and lizard-beasts were rampant and worse was out there. But then, Heidi Holloway was a bit off-beat herself. She took a breath and pulled off her gasmask to more closely examine the pieces. “What are you charging for these?” She asked, holding up a few of the components she’d found.

Shadow closed his eyes. He heard the voices of the other two but didn't care, he wasn't one to talk much anyway.

  • Link narrowed his soft blue eyes at Trish, tightening his grip on his bow, but still hesitated. Upon Trish willingly showing herself, he loosened his grip on the bow, though not putting it away.
He wasn’t going to point a weapon at someone if they weren’t trying to hurt them, it wasn’t right and he didn’t want to threaten them. If they were a threat, he could handle it, but right now they needed to get off.
He hoped Epona wouldn’t get hurt at all during this, Malon would get really upset with him if she found out Epona got hurt, as if he wouldn’t be upset with himself for that to begin with.

Turns out I never responded and I just thought I had

With three of the others leaping off the train, Trish approached the doorway. The last two seemed uncertain and time was running out quickly. “Better get a move-on,” she advised before performing a forward somersault from the train car. She landed on her feet with little effort, then whipped around to check on Doe and Link.

Doe led Twigs closer to Link and nudged him gently in the direction of the car door. Was he nervous about jumping? he wouldnt be surprised if Link was, especially since Doe himself was nervous about jumping too. He watched as Trish jumped from the car, leaving him and Link by themselves.
"Link hon, we have to go."
He said urgently. He didnt want to leave Sonic and Danny alone for much longer, it was important that they stayed together. He turned Twigs so they were facing the exit and looked back at Link. Maybe Link would feel better if Doe went first.
"Here, ill jump then watch when you jump off, if you fall ill catch you!"
He said, Doe peered over the edge of the car, the train was slowing down rapidly, but the jump was no less daunting than it was a few minutes ago. Doe's felt his hands turn clammy as he backed Twigs away from the opening. He was even less confident in his ability to jump off than before. He had never jumped from a train before, much less had he jumped a train on a horse. He really didn't want to jump, but he had no choice did he? Doe gulped.
"I-It cant be that hard..."
Doe hesitated, then with a loud 'hyah' He rode Twigs right out the door. For a moment, Doe's fears dissolved, replaced with delight and adrenaline as he soared through the air. He had to hold his hat with a hand, as the wind nearly blew it off. It was just like those western movies he used to watch when he was young!
Doe felt pretty cool... Until he landed that is, the force of the landing caused Twigs' legs to buckle, the jolt caught Doe off guard and he was sent flying off her back. He barely had enough time to cover his face with an arm as he collided with the ground, skidding comically to a stop. He groaned in pain as he released the grip he still had on his hat and let his arm drop infront of his face. That could have gone better...
