Heidi retrieved her hat and popped it back on, then looked back over at Fenn. He didn't seem any worse for wear after jumping off a train. Huh...
Well, such was the way with him.
She nodded and brushed frost off her grey-clad shoulders. "Yeah, doing alright," she replied. "I've taken worse tumbles than that. You should have been there that time the Grafton Monster came after me. Oh, boy, those were some photos, now; I'll have to show you sometime." She turned then to the others to take inventory. Everyone seemed alright. She hoisted her bag back over her shoulder and nodded. "Alright," she began. "Blaise and Beau, right? You two are the ones who know the way from here. Lead on!"

Near had created a skyline of sorts within several minutes, all out of dice. A trained eye who knew the city well would recognize New York City, but Near was also fairly certain no one else here was familiar with the downtown skyline. Arthur hadn't yet spoken and their question about who he was employed by hadn't yet been answered, and instead the silence was filled with the faint clicking of Marko with his cube. Near's eyes drifted back to that, and he noticed immediately that the whole thing was scrambled again. All you had to do by then was turn the right side down, rotate the front clockwise, and turn the top right. But then, he was forgetting that spacial awareness and intuition like that wasn't something that came naturally to everyone. He didn't bother to turn his head, but spoke to Marko anyway. "Marko, start by putting the white center piece on top of the cube, then arrange a white cross around it. The colored edges of the white pieces should match the color of the center piece they're touching," he suggested. "That's step one."
