I have a few issues with your choice in characters,

8942-LQ99: Skeletons become virtually unbreakable, allowing survival in harder impacts..
87556-UD61: Greatly improves the individual's reaction time, decreasing the time taken to react by 300%. "Spartan time."

(In the case of the only Gamma-Company Spartan on the team, Ellie, there are three additional augmentations unique to Gamma Company personnel only. These are:

009762-OO: Neural-altering non-carcinogenic mutagen - Alters key regions in the individual's frontal lobe to enhance aggressive response, making the animal part of the brain more accessible in times of stress. This allows the subject access to enormous reserves of strength and endurance and enables them to remain fighting even under the influence of a wide systemic shock that would be instantly fatal to a normal human. Depresses higher reason centers of the brain over time; requires regular doses of 009127-PX and 009927-DG to be taken to avoid uncontrollable aggression.

009127-PX: cyclodexione-4, bipolar integration drug - Counters the effects of 009762-OO.

009927-DG: miso-olanzapine - Counters the psychological effects of 009762-OO.

Known colloquially among the Spartan-III's of Gamma as 'Smoothers', these additional augmentations must be taken regularly to avoid the Spartan's sanity dwindling and ultimately spiraling into insanity if operating for long peroids of time in the field. There are several different types of "Smoother". The most common type used during combat operations is administered via a hypodermic injection and lasts approximately twelve hours, after which its effectiveness begins to steadily decrease. Several factors such as stress and fatigue can precipitate the mental unraveling process. The first symptoms, appearing within several hours after the Smoothers' effect wears off, include nervousness and irritability, eventually followed by paranoia, fits of temper and physical outbursts. Another, significantly more expensive type of Smoother is a subcutaneous insert with a longer-lasting effect. While they can only be changed out in a medical facility, they also cannot be lost or destroyed during a mission like the more commonly used kind.

Hailey, being the team's medic, carries six single-use auto injector packages of Smoothers. For timescale reference, Ellie's mental condition will begin to deteroriate upon the admin-determined timescale. If they happen to find a subcutaneous insert, Hailey can change out the devices when needed. These devices have a maximum length of five IC days before needing to be changed out.

These abilities seem extraordinarily Over Powered to me, especially considering the setting for this rp. not to mention the weapons you chose also seem to be too strong, along with the camo ability of their armor. and then there's the whole... insanity/smoother thing. there will be very finite resources here, and there is no guarantee, in fact actually, very ittle chance, of getting more. people are just struggling to get basic needs met, they will not be likely to find very specific medications.

If you don't mind giving them less powerful weapons and/or taking away the need for the drugs, disabling their camo, and making their bones breakable, then I will reconsider my decision to decline these forms.
 
DovahBeat DovahBeat Compared to S-II's (who are nigh-invincible), the augmentations of the SIII's were comparatively weaker; meaning bones are rather easily able to be broken despite the description saying otherwise. Something as simple as a large rock, melee strike, or getting flung a a few hundred or so meters can cause significant fractures and internal bleeding in some cases. As for the Camo, I can remove that and change Ellie to a Beta-Company for this RP and remove the Gamma-Company augmentations. Every weapon they have will only have *one* magazine. Once exhausted, whatever they find goes until they find more ammo. Furthermore I really don't intend to use the aforementioned weapons unless against powerful enemies. Let me know if there is anything else that needs to be addressed.

That's better, however there is still the concern of balance considering you're bringing in four of these characters. One character with these nerfs would be fine, but a whole squad of them makes me concerned that any threat I send our way will be taken out too quickly unless everyone has several super human characters to make things more even. As it stands now, I still cannot accept them in the quantity they are with their abilities.

I've looked samus over. I'll accept them if you make their armor be less powerful (as in doesn't require tank-force to land a hit that does anything) or that it is currently damaged so that your character can potentially get hurt. Other than that, they're accepted.
 
DovahBeat DovahBeat Sweet! I'll make the necessary adjustments. One last question: how does everyone start? In a 'flash' like event, or being teleported or otherwise arriving in the cityscape through their own intros (within reason)?
 
I'll post an intro when we start that goes more in depth, but basically natural disasters would have occurred right before the universes merged, dragging characters into the same place in this conglomerate world. Every character's intro may be a little different, as for where they appear and exactly how. They may have even been separated by the ones they knew before or they may have even been killed.

For the purpose of this rp, most if not all of our characters will have been geographically close together. Whether or not they already know another character is up to the players. I'll let you know more once I get the main thread up. ;)
 
I'll probably get the main thread set up some time today or early tomorrow, assuming our current members/interesteds post forms within that time. :)

I will accept Corrin on the condition that they can't use their full dragon form. The half-dragon/feral form is fine, but a full-blown giant dragon is a bit excessive for the power scaling of this rp. :)
