Biography ◆Avery was born in a small town in Oklahoma, to a pair of loving young parents who provided for her the best they could. She wasn't supposed to be an only child, but her mother's second pregnancy ended in tragedy when she gave birth to a stillborn boy. Avery was four at the time, and she-- like her parents-- were devastated by the loss. They were going to name him Bentley, and they had the nursery ready for him and everything. It was quite overwhelming to return to their home without him. Avery's mother, traumatized by the loss of her second child, changed for the worse. The woman had never touched alcohol a day in her life, but suddenly she couldn't function without it. Avery saw her mother nodding out drunk more often than not, and though her father tried to keep her shielded from it, she could see and hear that things weren't going well.

When Avery turned seven, she discovered her love for dancing. Her father was looking for some sort of extracurricular, both to keep her busy and perhaps bring her mother back around. While her mother continued to drink, Avery began to really discover herself. Dance recitals, singing lessons, gymnastics... anything to keep her busy and active. Avery wanted her mother back, but if she couldn't have that, then she would throw herself into becoming the best and maybe, just maybe, make the woman proud again.

Middle school was a rough time for Avery, as that's when her father decided to leave her mother. Avery, of course, had to go with him as she was in no way in her right mind to be a mother. By then, she already had the mindset that she had to be the best for her mother, but now she had to be the best for her father to make things okay in their household. For every trophy she brought home, he'd smile that proud smile at her, and that made her feel great. She loved the feeling of winning and making people proud of her, and she wanted to keep that. Because of this, she might not be the easiest person to become friends with, because she's so obsessed with being the best that she tends to forget that other people have needs and wants, too.

In high school, she was in both choir and drama all four years, doing as much performing as she could. She didn't date much, and she definitely wasn't miss popular. She recently graduated, planning on going to a college for the arts after taking a year off to pursue her dream. But it seems that is not in the plans for her....

Avery found out about Commit Inc. the day after her high school graduation. Apparently, because of the whole situation with her mother, her father wanted to secure a future for her. She graduated, had her graduation party the next day with some of her choir and acting friends, and he told her that night. She's crushed, thinking that getting married is going to stand in the way of her making it big. If she's married, she won't be able to go somewhere to even try and make it big unless her husband is alright with it, and while he might be, Avery is the type to assume the worst unless proven otherwise. She spent months telling her father that she wasn't going to go, but he finally convinced her to just give it a shot, and that he'd just been trying to do what was best for her. She's nervous and anxious about meeting her husband to be, and can't stop pacing.

Bio
Born into the prestigious Marino family Juliette was held in high regard since birth. The Italian family came from old money and their wealth increased due to smart investments and hardwork. Juliette was born to Julian Marino and his ex-wife Gabrielle. Her mother wasn’t a very affectionate woman, she was a young woman who focused on material objects rather than her daughter. It hurt when her parents got divorced but she got over it eventually. Her mother remarried to another rich man as soon as she could. Juliette didn’t receive much affection when it was only her and her father. Julian cared for his daughter but he was a hardened man who had trouble showing how he felt. He spoiled his daughter to make up for his emotional flaws. Juliette’s life was one of luxury and privilege. She attended the best private schools, schools that her father sponsored of course. During school she was popular. Despite her popularity she kept up her grades, knowing that her father thought them important.

Her life changed when her father become involved with man named Laurent Comeaux, a French man heir to a rich family who owned a number of vineyards. In the beginning Juliette ignored her father’s partner despite his attempts at building a relationship with her. The two of them were always at odds. It continued on for months before the trio eventually had a heart to heart. After that things went smoothly and ended with her father marrying the French man. Juliette eventually moved out in order to live closer to her college of choice.
Background:
Juliette was told told Commit by her father right after she graduated. It had been arranged before the divorce and they didn’t think to annual the agreement. Juliette is not looking forward to this. She would rather find her own partner, she doesn’t like things being out of her control. She only attended to appease her parents.

  Guy is extremely self-absorbed and thinks the best of himself. Furthermore, he's practically incapable of admitting that he was wrong in any way. How can he when he's basically the best thing life has to offer?

  Because Guy doesn't think of anyone other than himself, he doesn't usually take into consideration how other people feel.

  The best way of telling how someone is going to be is to just take a glance at the cover, after all. He often takes things at face value, especially other people. Guy often lets his pre-conceived notions of certain physical features color his initial impression and possibly all impressions afterward.

  ◆ Background: Guy spent all of his life excelling. Some said that it was just due to his family and their money but he also put a lot of work in order to make sure that he was at the very top. While his father put him under a large amount of pressure in order to make the perfect son, Guy also reveled in being so far above everyone else, whether it was at having the best grades, the hottest girl, or crushing others at various sports. It was a matter of pride for him at a certain point. However, no one could be the best at everything, something he has yet to fail to grasp even as his fingers slipped on that very title. First it was his grades when he tried to invest too much time into football and then he started to lose at the sports that Guy was so good at.
  
  When he graduated, he still had this problem. Currently, Guy is juggling both part-time college classes and an internship at his father's lawyer firm. He dedicates more time to his internship as it seems more important to him since one day he's sure to inherit it as long as he follows his father's every instruction. Something Guy never had a problem with in the past.
  
  ◆ RP Specific Background: In order to seal the deal, so to speak, there's one thing other than completing college and his internship that must be done. Something that his father had set up before Guy had even started middle school: an arranged marriage. It was the first that Guy had heard of it when he was summoned into his father's office for both his job offer and this revelation. A sort of queen to his king, Guy supposed. It meant that he had to give up the girlfriend that he had been going out with but that didn't matter. She was only a trophy, much like how Guy guessed his new wife would be. He only hoped she would be pretty.
