Caught in a storm
We live in the New Era. The Era of Superheroes. It happened in the 60s. The Metamorphosis. Since then our heroes walk among us. Not as ordinary men and women but as Superheroes.We live in more dangerous times as ever now. Exciting yet different. It's now 2021 and our world's greatest heroes have had the most terrifying thing happen. Half the heroes of the world's most powerful superhero team, The Protectors have been murdered. The rest have been sent to the ER and are in recovery.
You are our next hope. You may be yet a teenager but you possess specials skills or abilities. Welcome to Green City. It's a bustling metropolis with parks, shops, museums and just about everything else you could ever ask for in a city. But what is most important is Victory Hall, a superhero school focusing on training the next generation of Superheros. It's somewhat a superhero school and somewhat a really nice typical high school. We have our own sports teams and mascots but we're also training to form a team of teenage superheros to take down the craziness that happen in Green City.
From Mad Doctors, to Giant Monsters and Alien Invasions just about everything happens to Green City. That's part of what's so important about protecting the world. We have to uphold a legacy of superheros to fight the various threats to Green City and the rest of the world including various teams of villains. Word is that even a school for supervillain children exists however there has been no reports of anywhere that matches such a rumor.
Venture to Green City and Other cities. It doesn't matter who you are. A trained sidekick, a alien with special powers or someone else entirely. We need all the heroes we can get within Green City. Perhaps you come from a lineage of superheros and have much to live up to. Being a teenager can be a stressful time of your life. But the true test starts here at Victory Hall.
Terror League: The main league of supervillains that exist within the world. They exist to take down The Protectors and are the current main blame for the attack on it's members.
Palisade Corporation:
A family run megacorporation whose members form up the Atomic Family. The Palisade Corporation has been a proponent of clean energy and experimental technology within Green City although some have voiced concerns about unpredictable technology.
The Shadow Academy: A rumored academy for teenage supervillains that may or may not exist. The idea of a counter school that exists to combat Victory Hall isn't the most pleasant picture.
This RP is a RP more reminiscent of superhero comic books. This isn't however any normal RP as it is a analysis on the superhero genre. If you like Invicible or the boys this is probably somewhat similar to it.
It's focusing on the lives of what it means to be a superhero at a young age, what it means to be a teenager with real life struggles and the modern day metropolis lifestyle. Expect Romance, Drama, Individual Character Arcs and lots of world building.
Our RP will focus on deriving more from Comic Imagery and there will be a suprising amount of violence.
