Roleplay Type(s)
The lands of Ayore is a storied one indeed. At one time it was the Elves who ruled and they did so fiercely... All other beings considered lesser, oppressive slavery and cruelty was common. So much so that all races aligned to rebel against the elves. The elf population was decimated and much of their culture destroyed.
However their influences are still felt throughout the world to this day. Vampires, Demons, Curses and many other things that plague Ayore came to be because of Elves disregard for life and a hunger for power.
It was the elves own creation that ultimately sealed their fate...
Created from elf criminals and slaves... elves enhanced, twisted and changed their captives with magic. It was elves who brought the Oresimerk (orks) into being and it was the Orks that decimated the Elves and plague Ayore since. Orks still roam, while seeing a full blooded elf is much rarer.

So what's the rp about?
A group of people in a guild that primarily hunts orks. Some other shit down the line as some individuals with unnatural powers have been slowly steering kingdoms towards war.
As far as who you can make its the standard human, dwarf, hobbit, beastkin and half elves allowed to the party. Orks goblins or anything that looks monster like is most likely a monster.

Don't have a player limit but I'll start shit up if there is 4, if more than 50 join then they are probably building a bigger base for said members.
Post requirements is two paragraphs or more once a week.

Info on magic mostly

Generally it is humans of this world born with a magic ability which has been named talent.
Users of Talent have different abilities in reference to a certain colour, they can see these colours more brightly and can easily tell the difference in shades of said colour. But that's more cloak and dagger info what really matters is...

How they use talent.
A talented person absorbs the energy of their colour into their eyes through light. And can manipulate that energy into magic each colour magic is different.
For example a user talented with the colour blue could look up at the sky on a clear sunny day, and absorb a lot of energy, a skilled user could store energy in their system for later, but overall to use talent requires light, even a excellent user of any talent colour, is helpless on a dark night.
Excluding one class of talent which I will explain in further detail later.
Glasses with a colour tinted through them are a sought out must for talent users especially the more rare magic types.
The different types are below...

Blue, people born with the talent for blue are considered very lucky.
Talented blue users often have bright blue eyes or blue flecks and spots throughout them. Blue magic or "slaz" is sharp, users often make swords blades and shards, skilled users can fling blue slaz like bullets from their fingertips.

Green, people born with a talent for green are almost as lucky as blue,
They draw power from the colour green, on sunny days they would get their energy to produce slaz from grass or foliage.
Green slaz is very strong and sturdy, often used as blunt weapons or armour as well as foundations to construction. While it could make for dangerous projectiles Green slaz is much heavier to throw.

Pink, A talent for pink is a very subtle powerful magic,
Pink slaz is thin and silky, sometimes sticky, pink hue is formed in strands that reach out and attach to a target, pink is a rare and often unstable talent to master as it specialises in manipulation of emotions. Pink is one of the combo talents of a ideal spy.

Brown, brown magic is the most common talent,
To use requires little training and effort, to use well however is a different story,
Brown talent concerns nature and can effect it greatly. Brown slaz is a liquid formed by the user, which is sprayed or used accordingly. Some people drink brown slaz it is along the lines of being stronger than any alcohol or natural drug in the world.

Purple, purple is a rare talent, hard to master and control,
Purple slaz is a visible purple gas or fog, anything caught within this gas is liable to the users manipulation, (think telekinesis)
Very talented users of purple hue have been rumoured to open gateways within the fog,
But that's speculation and rumours....

Red, red slaz is very powerful and dangerous, Red magic is a combustible energy in its most raw form it is a semi solid jelly but red slaz is unique in that it can be a visible gas and on rare occasion liquid, put simply it burns. Some talented users can control this like having heated fists when they punch that leave a scorch, or projecting streams of fire and explosions.

Orange.
Orange magic is healing, and one of the rarer talents to have.
Orange slaz appears as a glow and is used in fixing a physical wound, skilled users have reported fixing mental stress and fatigue with a warm orange glow. The good it does varies on skill of the user and can often drain the orange user quickly and severely depending on the damage they are trying to repair.

Yellow,
Yellow slaz is a flexible thing, users can make structures from yellow magic but it is a adaptable bendy almost bouncy substance. Skilled users are often paid handsomely for crafting mattresses out of yellow slaz.
In combat yellow slaz has been seen reflecting bullets and sometimes other slaz back in the opposite direction. Some users use yellow slaz to jump very long high distances, and to break their fall.

White
White magic is rare even for having a talent. White slaz isn't really a slaz as its more a light or glow used to negate or diminish other coloured magic. Using white light as a shield against oother slaz in battle via charging a item with white magic or projecting it from their skin. Naturally every talent fears a skilled white mage especially if you have...

Grey.
Grey magic is a hard talent to use, grey slaz appears like a fine silk sheet and is used to change themselves on many levels...
Changing of small characteristics.
Manipulation of voice, size, rumor has it, even sex.
The most skilled users can appear to be someone completely different To their original self.
Alongside Pink, Grey is the magic of the ideal spy. However their magic can be spotted on sight by a skilled white mage with any amount of light in their eyes. It then becomes a matter of skill on both sides and luck...

The only talent that doesn't work in the light, works in the dark of night under the moon, or at the very least in the shadows.
However a talent for dark magic is sometimes regarded as taboo or dangerous. Dark or black magic is used as a camouflage in the dark, looking see through, almost as if they were a coated in a liquid that made them transparent. Ranging from level of skill they could look like someone concealed by a wet blanket or almost completely invisible to the naked eye, white talent uses have a slight edge on spotting dark hue, but it depends on skill of both users.
Dark Slaz can also be used as a small projection to kill or paralyse a target in combat, depending on the skill of this user, it could make a sharp thin sliver, for this to be effective one would already need to be within stabbing range of their target, the longest rumoured length a assassin used dark slaz to incapacitate someone was 30 centimetres, which is very difficult or bullshit.
The criminal underworld often look for dark talent users to be spies and assassins, carrying out jobs from theft, to murder.

Not every human is born with talent. Sadly it is essentially next to impossible for a human to be born with many types of magic. For a human to have three or four colours in their eyes is downright miraculous, as it's usually one or two at most. However when someone is born with the rainbow swirls for eyes they are usually groomed to be a potential ruler of the lands and hailed as the Talent lord.

That's what humans are working with. So what about the rest of the world?
Elves or what's left of them after genocide... speak a ancient language to convert their mana into magic. Elf magic is anything provided they know the right phrases or "spells" to recite as they direct their mana. Unfortunately most of the elf language was lost or destroyed out of fear of elves rising up once again.

Half elves, depending on the heritage it depends. Usually taking the magic of the other race whilst having the ability to use elf magic if they knew the words... the main difference is when a human and elf have a child, the halfcast is never talented. They can have unique mana though.

Dwarf magic is basically earthbending, it is rare for a dwarf to have magic but when they do they are destined for greatness. Dwarf mages also make the best blacksmiths.

Hobbit/halfing magic is inherent in each member of the race. It is to do with creation, magic artefacts, weapons tools almost anything. If a hobbit has the materials and the practice/knowledge they can make anything simply by fusing what's needed via magic, aside from ancient elf creations, hobbit stock is the best.

Beastkin "magic." Beastkin is a umbrella term for any humanoid animal or creature capable of sentience and speaking. As such their "magic" varies greatly and is more inherent abilities they have due to their body.
A Komodo (humanoid dragon without wings) may be able to breathe fire or spit poison.
A Loonair (humanoid rabbit) may have electricity under the moon or may transform Into a vicious beast. All are different, but it almost never happens that a beastkin is able to use magic or talent. Though with a human parent talent is more likely to happen then learning elf words and having elf mana.
