Once upon a time, in a land far away from anywhere else, resides a town surrounded by mountains. There is a legend that some of the people that lived here could not be seen by any normal human being because they were gods who were placed in the mortal realm on a trial to test their hearts. Here in the village of Takamagahara, tourists crowd around to find a way to see these "Gods." To be able to see a God was a sign of prosperity and luck, so many sought to find a chance to see one, but this empty little village had nothing else but animals and villagers that resided in this little town. Their ancestors back then would tell stories of how Gods and humans actually lived together and could see each other, but because of the tainted hearts filled with greed, the Gods banished the Humans' rights to be able to see them.
Those who lived there were only allowed to reside in this sacred town because they were chosen to stay there. Despite these villagers seeing the entities, it was a tradition that their ancestors followed for many years. These people were called the guardians. The Guardians often pray to the shrines of the Gods that supposedly resided there. They lived a normal life but would clean the shrine of the Gods and pray for them before they sleep, to pay respect and pray for protection in return.
The Gods roamed around the village, seeking out wishes from the tourists and watched from the mountain village, in hopes that they would return back to the heavens one day. It was here that the trials had started for the Gods. One day, a guardian stumbled upon a shrine within a hidden cave behind a waterfall. After cleaning it and paying respect, hoping that the Gods would protect the guardian, a ray of light blinded everyone. After the flash of a ray of light, the guardians could see the Gods that roamed around.
"Seek inside of your heart to find your true path"
A loud voice echoed in the Gods and Guardian's minds. It seems as if it was fated that the Guardians and Gods were meant to be together... at least work together to help the Gods pass this trial. But what were the trials that await them?

Guardians consist of [2 male and 2 female roles.] They do not have to live in the village (e.g. maybe happened to stumble upon the island when this occurred. Maybe their ancestors used to do this and ran off but then this character came to see the legend and etc.), but it is best that only one character doesn't live in this town and has this ability to see the gods. MUST BE HUMAN ONLY

Tengu god. He is the protector of the guardians and fights against any bad omen/demons out there to protect human beings. Despite his intimidating look, he tends to take care of the other Gods and human beings, although most of them don't see him. Deep down inside, he's like a mother to them all (lmao). Humans believe that seeing the Tengu god brings great blessings such as the ability to have a family. [MALE, TAKEN BY SIGN]
SPECIAL ABILITIES: Flying & fighting
The Kyubi No Kitsune is the Nine tails fox. It is believed that the nine tails fox lures men away and take eat their hearts, but for the Kitsune, men always fell in love with her because of her beauty, causing them to be obsessed with those that actually do "see" her. Due to this, her legend makes her look bad, but then men (and women) believed that if they didn't fall for her beauty, they would be able to have good luck in life.

Angry = Rain, thunder, and lightning
The Shinigami's job as a God is to guide those that have passed to their passing to move on and reincarnate into another life. Although this is true, he's seen a lot in his life. With worries that death is always around him, he feels that he is cursed with this job. The people, though, respect the Shinigami because he is the only one who can help the others in the afterworld. People believe that seeing the Shinigami brings Prosperity. [MALE, OPEN]
SPECIAL ABILITIES: Seeing spirits, communicating with the dead
Enmusubi no Kami is the fate god. In order to bring others together with true love, she can see the red strings of fate. Her shrine is the most popular since many couples want to be together. Although sometimes, fate cannot bring them together, the Enmusubi no Kami tries really hard to bring love to everyone. With the people's prayers, they will be able to find true love if they really believe in her and pray for her. [FEMALE, OPEN]
SPECIAL ABILITIES: Seeing red strings of fate (BUT CANNOT SEE RED STRINGS TO THOSE THAT SHE KNOWS), Can see their lifespan.
