Collapse Point: Romanticide
Introduction
Collapse Point
A mere tenth of a second after the confirmed extinction of humanity, several individuals of varying cultures and ethnicities find themselves imprisoned within a roving luxury train, with their bodies confined against their seat, rendering them immobile. Presented in front of the remnants of humanity, there stands a man with an unusual head, resembling a mixture of a blazing chronograph and the steam locomotive of a vintage train.

As the train plows through the fabric of reality, the juddering intensifies, but the man standing on the center stage remains unperturbed. As silence ensues, all revived from purgatory awaken, and the clock-faced man bows before the prisoners.

I. "Welcome aboard the Acheron Helldiver, brought to you by yours truly."
II. "The end has concluded; but the war has just begun."
III. "A battle for the true end. Let us descend into the Scarlet Singularity and repent."

A forced journey into the enigmatic realm of Hell, all who were revived by the system will be given a chance to fight and earn their freedom, by participating in the mission to cleanse the 7 floors of the Scarlet Singularity.
Synopsis
The Story
The world finally came to an end, as prophesied months prior, by the sprouting of a tree whose innate magical elements became too powerful to be contained. Within a tenth of a second following the world's demise, a select handful of random individuals were collectively revived inside of a moving train. As explained by the conductor whose face took the shape of a steam-engine-infused clock, the characters' primary objective was to purge all seven levels of Hell in order to properly bring the world to an end, as the apocalyptic explosion gave way to its emergence. In exchange for their services, the individuals will be free to as they wish in the world, unbound from the train and himself.

In order to venture through these levels, the characters will not be given weapons. Instead, they will utilize a game-like system determined by given statistics, which will improve over time from fighting and interacting with citizens. Within these levels of Hell, there exist artificial beings similar to that of the already existent races. The characters are given twelve hours to prepare for each level, whether it be to obtain weapons or explore the world, and twelve hours to complete the level and return to the train.

After the first twelve hours have passed and the characters reach the location of the first level, a phenomena called the 'Scarlet Singularity' will occur. The skies will turn red, the world will become emptied, and red strings will appear from thin air, leading the characters to the boss. If the boss is defeated, the characters will be able to proceed to the next level. These series of events will take place over a duration of seven days, and as the characters progress through Hell, they will begin to learn more about the ever mysterious conductor.

The first stop is Romanticide, a world unlike what one would anticipate. Upon reaching Romanticide, the characters will see a civilization consisting of futuristic technology rather than a realm of demons and hellfire.
Guideline
Rules
The following acts are prohibited: Self-modding statistics, applying sure-hit effects on listed non-playable characters and player characters, employing rules or laws of the world without the permission of myself, meta-related actions, special innate abilities not obtained from the Scarlet Singularity, and creating non-playable characters without receiving confirmation from myself.
Naturally, the standard rules of the site will be applied.
Exceptions will be made for no one, as impartiality is sacrosanct in this game.
Out-of-character coordinations and conversations will be held on the site, as opposed to Discord, unless the vast majority requests that a switch of platform would be most ideal.
As the administrator and game master, I hold free reign over my decisions to oust participants if they feel inclined to go against the words of the guideline. This applies for those who disappear without notice or post once every blue moon.
