Nation Name: Rzeczpospolita Polska (Republic of Poland)

Anthem of the country: Mazurek Dąbrowskiego

Nation Flag:
1200px-Flag_of_Poland_(normative).svg.png

Nation Leader: The "Polska Zjednoczona Partia Robotnicza" (The Polish United Worker's Party" is officially responsible for Polish internal and external affairs, although there still is a Polish Government in Exile, based in London, England. They do not agree with the communists, and demand that Poland be restored to democracy

Nation Population: At the end of the WW2, Polish population, severely destroyed by the Nazi Germany, numbered at around 22,000,000

Nation Military Statistics:
Mostly funded by the USSR, the Polish People's Army is split into 6 districts, and contains of
-100,000 fit for service, of which
~40,000 is on active duty, securing Poland's Eastern Bourders
~30,000 is the reserves
~30,000 is the paramilitary personnel
-around 20 T-34 tanks
-
-Somewhere in between 35 to 100 M1937 Howitzer's
-The navy is non-existant, but the gain of the almost entire Pomerenia will soon force them to begin the production
-Air force is non-existant, as it was primarily wiped out during first months of the September Campaign, and the leftovers were taken by the Germans

Colonial Possessions: Unfortunately, Poland does not own any exterial possesions outside of Europe, though there is a huge Polish Diaspora in nations such as USA, Canada, Australia, and some of the South American countries, which could potentially influence the country's politics.

Pros:
+Polish population is mostly able to be conscripted into the army, and if they do, the morale would be much higher than any other army.
+Their economy at the end of the war was in shambles, but the Poles are hard-working people, and able to rebuild their economy
+Poland is a mostly homogenous country, with about 98% of the population being ethnic Poles, at least according to data from 1946. This means that civil war is unlikely to even occur in Polish territory.

Cons:
-The polish army is a mere shell of what it was before the war, meaning it will depend heavily on someone else (e.g Soviet Union) to defend it's borders.
-When the Soviets were "rescuing" Poland from grasps of the Nazi Germany, they discovered that Warsaw, the capital of Poland since 1791, was pillaged and razed to the ground. The provisional capital was set in Lublin, the largest city on the east of the Vistula river.
-As mentioned above, the Polish economy is in complete rubbles, being torn apart by Nazi and Soviet invasion and the subsequent occupation.
-Poland is a mostly flat country, which means that if the war was to occur, the attacker would mostly have to watch out for forests and rivers, and not worry about potential hills.

Allies:
Hence they were "sold out" to Stalin, Poland is being protected by Soviet Union, as well as all the other countries in the Eastern Block/Cominterm

The Polish population traditionally enjoys really close relations with Hungary, or "People's Republic of Hungary", as well as United States, or "The United States of America", but they're furious with France and Great Britain, as they did not expect them to agree so eagerly to Stalin's demands.

Alignment: The official stance of the Polish Government is the will to hold on to the "friendship" that Russia and Poland endure. Most of the Polish population, and some politicians abroad, though, are secretly pro-democratic, and demand that the ruling party be overthrown, but are afraid to carry out such an act, in spite of the Soviet invasion of the country.
