Specialisation: Three specialisations are available: assault, defence, and support. Assault is geared towards dealing damage and pushing forwards. Defence is focused on protecting teammates and protecting objectives. Support is based around roles such as healing and fire support.
Preferred Loadout: As a super secret paramilitary organisation, operatives are allowed to pick and choose weapons of their choice from essentially any firearm ever made (provided they fill in a massive amount of paperwork first) and if it is within reason. That means if the weapon is available and practical. No going into battle with a diamond-encrusted solid gold Desert Eagle or 18th century blunderbuss. Operatives who do not want to fill in the large amount of paperwork needed to acquire a personal weapon of choice are instead given standard-issue equipment. Refer to the Field Operative's Handbook for equipment list. Only experienced operatives are allowed access to choice weaponry. Recruits are given standard-issue by default.
Gear Alterations: Like many special forces around the world, operatives are allowed to customise their gear to a certain degree.
Skills and Abilities: Point form. Typically things such as combat training and natural skills.

'It matters not who has the best equipment or tech. The side with the best discipline and training always wins. But sometimes, it matters both.'

General Information

Name: Viktor Degtyarev (Russian: Виктор Дегтярев)
Age: 44
Gender: Male
Ethnicity: Slavic
Birthdate: 22 February 1977
Nationality: Russian
Birthplace: Yakutsk, Sakha Republic, Russia (USSR)
Organisation: Spetsnaz GRU
Employed Since: 19 October 2012

Physical Information

Height: 6'1" (1.85m)
Build: Athletic
Eyes: Grey
Hair: Dark brown
Skin Tone: Fair
Description: With his dark brown hair, grey eyes, and fair skin, Degtyarev is practically fits the description of an archetypal Russian. Tall and well-built, Degtyarev has been described by many (mostly female personnel) as rather good-looking for his age, despite he faintest hints of grey in his hair. His athletic and muscular build is as expected of a seasoned special forces operator with more than two decades of experience in the military. Underneath his gear and clothing, he has a single gunshot scar on his shoulder, having gotten it during his younger years in Chechnya. Typically has a five o'clock shadow covering the lower half of his face.

Psychological Profile

Character Summary: A calm and composed veteran Spetsnaz operative with substantial tracking and pathfinding skills. Believes that discipline is the key to victory.
Personality: Borderline emotionless at times, Degtyarev remains cool even under pressure. As an experienced commander, he knows how to work as a team, and he practically emits an aura of commanding wherever he goes. He is also extremely loyal and dedicated, typically not stopping at anything until he has fulfilled his objective. As a keen believer that discipline is the most important aspect of any military, Degtyarev does not tolerate insubordination, and will oftentimes follow any order he is given. As a realist, he is practical and independent, which means that he can quickly come up with solutions to problems. Quite a heavy drinker, but smokes in moderation.

Biography: Viktor Degtyarev was born an only child to a father in the Soviet Army and a mother in the factories. Degtyarev grew up listening to the stories of great bravery his father told him of not just his own adventures in Afghanistan, but also those of his grandfather and his heroic exploits during the Great Patriotic War, fighting for his motherland against the German fascists. These tales combined with the fact that all the men in his family were in the military inspired him to pursue a more serious career in the military, wanting to serve even after finishing his conscription. As a young boy, Degtyarev's life was fairly typical: having fun with friends, getting into fights, and learning about the world (the Soviet version of it). However, he also enjoyed creating maps of the area around his home, finding that he had a particular knack for pathfinding and cartography. Following the collapse of the Soviet Union, in 1995, Degtyarev served his eighteen months with the Russian Armed Forces, before going on the study at Yakutsk State University.

After completing his education and graduating with high honours, he later re-enlisted and went on to serve Russia for a further five more years. During his time in the military, he took part in the Second Chechen War, during which he killed and began to develop a more realistic view on life, yet also coming to see that discipline was the key to victory. He eventually joined the Spetsnaz upon recommendation from his senior officers. Completing Spetsnaz's infamous training regimen with relative ease due to his perfect health and previous experience, Degtyarev was assigned to the 3rd Guards Spetsnaz Brigade. As a Spetsnaz operative, Degtyarev would go on to see action once again in Chechen, now seeing a different side as a special operative rather than the more conventional foot soldier he once was. It was also this time that he refined his natural tracking and pathfinding ability that he always had during recon missions. He also came to be a respected and trusted soldier, coming to be seen as a model operative.

in 2012, nearly two decades in the military, Degtyarev was referred to by his superiors, stating that he was getting reassigned, and that the information was highly classified. It was here that he was recruited by the shadow organisation known as CITRON, whose field agents had been observing him for years, to properly judge his skills and to see if he was fit to be a member. After his recruitment, his eyes were opened to a side of the world he had never seen before, a side that he once thought to be simple myths. He was finally exposed to the masquerade, and now he was one of those enforcing it. Instead of battling threats to Russia, he battled threats to humanity. It was a job that he intended to do well. He accepted his new duty without much of a second thought.

Degtyarev would quickly rise up the ranks and become one of CITRON's top field operatives.

"Chechnya was an experience I don't really like talking about."
"Yes, yes. I like vodka, but I don't drink it on a daily basis. Stop assuming."

Biography: Ġovanni was born in a small three family village near central Malta. When he turned 18, Ġovanni joined up with the Maltese armed forces, and jumped at the opportunity to be drafted into peacekeeping operations. After a lot of paperwork and a three week diplomacy training period, he was put onto the field in a small Lebanese village. Eventually he was able to learn a sizeable amount of Beqaa Arabic, and started to ask villagers about some of their stories.

He was introduced to stories of ghouls who waited at night to prey on those left outside, obviously he brushed it off as native superstition. Eventually though, he started to notice actual ghostly figures in the night, he had the usual breakdown on duty and called out his superiors, who eventually contacted CITRON, who interrogated and cleared his memory. • Cool-headed: Ġovanni is fairly good at keeping calm, and so chooses more ethical answers to problems while under pressure.

  • Familiarity: Ġovanni knows a Beretta M12 like the back of his hand, issued to him during his younger years in the military, he has learned to love the weapon system.

  • Low-Expectations: Ġovanni has been with CITRON since 2012, hes seen a lot, and is less surprised by now.

"I may not be human but I can still practice humanity."
General Information

Name: Lazarus Ephraim Zerah
Age: 89
Gender: none
Race: Horror
Birthdate: 31 October 1932

Physical Information

Height/Length: 7'5" (2.28m)
Build: Thin
Eyes: Red
Hair: Black
Skin Tone/Colour: Peach-Gray with black markings
Description: Lazarus has a roughly humanoid shape and wears a form fitting black suit similar to a diving wetsuit. Three sets of arms, six hands, each containing 5 finger capped with inch long black claws. Two unguligrade legs that end in black raptorial feet that are heavily padded on the bottom with large, strong, curved claws. He has a normal human torso but no genitalia of any kind although he prefers to be referred to as male, when questioned about this he simply stated, "It doesn't have any real importance and it is easier for humans to set things into simple terms." He also has a normal human head topped with chin length black hair. His face contains 5 eyes, three of which stay closed most of the time, the pupils looking like that of a goat. An average human nose and a mouth which during times of feeding unhinges and retracts open reveling a mouth full of sharp fangs but otherwise is in the shape of a normal human mouth. He will stand on his hind legs whilst walking but when running he goes down on all eight limbs.

Psychological Profile

Character Summary: A creature brought to life by accident with a curiosity towards all things.
Personality: A very curious and observant, Lazarus enjoys studying things which he doesn't understand. He does appear to be rather loyal and will listen to commands when given. Around other beings he attempts to be courteous and sympathetic but because of his low socialization with humans he tends to come off as rude or disrespectful but he claims that is not his intention.
Biography: Lazarus came to be after a group of foolish teens wondered into an abandoned shack, which locals said was supposedly haunted, to preform an occult summoning as a joke on Halloween. The creature that appeared wasn't exactly terrifying but not exactly normal either, some sort of amalgamation about the size of a human infant. Most of them ran from the shack terrified but one stayed behind and took the creature home with them. They raised this monstrosity secretly, teaching it to speak, read, write and a little about human life, but mostly about why it could not go out into the human world. It later became apparent that Lazarus would greatly outlive it's caretaker and he eventually did.

After the death of his caretaker in 1987 he escaped and wondered outside of a nearby small town. The locals would report seeing something odd and a mild panic set in over the years similar to the craze over mothman or bigfoot in their local areas. Operatives were sent in to eventually correct the situation in 1989 after he attempted to make contact with a civilian. Due to Lazarus not having any malicious intent and par with his wishes he was brought to CITRON, he is among the current non-human agents.

Other Information

Nickname: Lazarus
Equipment: Basic protective gear such as elbow pads, shin guards, knee pads.

Skills and Abilities:
  • Enhanced bite
    • His bite force itself isn't very much higher than that of a normal human but because of his sharp razor like teeth he is very efficient in tearing through flesh.
  • Enhanced vision
    • Because of his pupil shape he can see in a wider field of vision. It also allows him to take in more light at night whilst not being blinded from the sun during the day.

  • Enhanced speed
    • Lazarus' top running speed has been estimated around 30 mph, slightly above the fastest human record of 27.8 mph, although he is more trained towards sprinting rather than long distance running.
  • Environmental adaption
    • The raptor like shape of Lazarus' feet allow him to adapt to different surfaces as well as increase his climbing ability.
  • Decelerated aging
    • Although Lazarus is currently around the age of 89 he appears to only be in the early adult phase of his life cycle, his estimated lifespan being around 275 years.
  • Enhanced Leap
    • Due to the bone and muscle structure of his legs Lazarus is able to jump roughly 12 feet vertically and 35 horizontally if allowed a running start.
  • Enhanced reflexes
    • Because of his wider range of vision Lazarus has a very slight advantage when reacting to thing around him that the average human would not be able to see.
  • Thick skin
    • Lazarus' skin is slightly thicker than the average humans and has a sort of sand paper-like texture similar to that of a shark. This allows him an advantage over harsh temperatures and against minor scrapes and cuts.

Quotes:
"I'm can sense you are feeling rather tense, may I offer a comforting 'hug' or perhaps a friendly pat-on-the-shoulder? Or maybe you would prefer to wallow there in your own self pity?"

Aiden Dugald
b9e893a41b0fdecbc4d634a50158c71e577ce206_hq.jpg
Name: Dullahan (Dulachán – Dark man)
Other Names: Gan Ceann, Far Dorocha, Headless Horseman
Type: Unseelie fairy
Intelligence: Sentient
Location: Predominantly Ireland & Scotland, but examples can be found across the Northern Hemisphere.
Description:

"He rides his black steed through the countryside
and whenever he stops a mortal man dies.
He's the Angel of Death and worthy of dread;
dressed all in black and lacking a head.
In his left hand is a spine that he'll use as a whip.
In his right hand a scythe that will cut to the quick.
If you chance to observe him you may be struck blind
and still think yourself lucky that he left you behind.
If he pulls on the reins and he finds you outdoors
Your heart will stop dead and will beat nevermore.
There are buckets of blood where the Dullahan rides.
On all Hallows Eve you had best be inside."

-The Dullahan, John F. McCullagh

Accompanying the Banshee in the Irish mythology is the Dullahan or Gan Ceann. They are Unseelie fairies who come to collect the souls of the dead at the night in the Irish countryside in the form of headless horsemen. The Dullahans are usually mounted on a black steed or a black coach pulled by six horses called a coiste bodhar (silent coach). Once they say the name of a person, that person will die and their soul will be collected by the Dullahan. All doors and gates open to let a Dullahan through which makes it extremely hard to keep one away. A Dullahan uses a human spine as a whip, and could use it to blind innocent onlookers that would stare at him. Other times it may throw a basin of blood on a bystander, signalling that they could be the next one to die. Most Dullahan are located in Ireland and Scotland, however there have been a few recorded cases of Dullahan across Eurasia and North America.
There exist cases of Dullahans that for one reason or another lack a head whatsoever, they are hostile to anyone around them and can be very dangerous, with a very famous example being the tale of the Headless Horseman of Sleepy Hollow. A Dullahan’s only known weakness is gold. It doesn't appear to affect them physically in any way, so it seems that they are simply aurophobic.
Traits:
  • Access and Occlusion
  • Afterlife Transport
  • Death Embodiment
  • Death Inducement
  • Death Sense
  • Enhanced Vision
  • Fear Inducement
  • Head Liberation
  • Immortality
  • Mediumship
  • Riders Aptitude
Counter: Gold & magic artefacts.
Threat Level: 6

"Now, the way I see it, Oingo Boingo put it best: no one lives forever."
General Information

Name: Aiden Dugald (Real name: Áedán)
Age: Unknown
Gender: Male
Race: Dullahan
Birthdate: Unknown, presumed circa 6th century
Nationality: Irish

Physical Information

Height: 5'10" (1.78m) (With head); 5'1" (1.55m) (Without head)
Build: Average
Eyes: Unknown
Hair: Unknown
Skin Tone: Pale white
Description: Always clad in black biker gear, when Aiden rides his motorcycle, he can sometimes appear to be darker than the shadows themselves while on the road at night which doesn't help his reputation as an urban legend.
As a Dullahan, Aiden's head detaches itself from his body, although it is now done less frequently to help him blend with the society around him. When the faerie's neck is free from the head, a dark, shadow-like flame comes from the neck, changing to a burning orange color once he becomes enraged. As for the head, since it is always covered by a tinted motorcycle helmet, it's appearance is unknown. However, if the Irish legends are true, then it is one of a terrible appearance: "...covered in rotting flesh, with a terrifying grin that spreads from ear to ear and eyes that are lit up with orange flames, able to look miles ahead for its next victim."

Psychological Profile:

Character Summary: An Irish angel of death that became attached to humans, specifically wishing to protect the lives of those who he believes don't deserve to die.

Personality:
Regaining a portion of his former human side caused Aiden to grow an attachment towards mankind, which, in turn, has fuelled his philosophy of trying to save people fated for an early death, despite knowing that most of the time there may be little that he could do. As a result of this, to lighten and mask the burden of being a Dullahan, Aiden can resort to things such as using dark, sometimes even crude humour. However, this dissatisfaction can best be seen in the quick-temper that he has developed as a result.
The way Aiden interacts with others depends on what kind of individuals they are with him being kind towards good-natured people, while enjoying showing a much more colder and unforgiving side towards evil-spirited humans and creatures, which is quite ironic with him being an Unseelie fairy. Also, because of his constant movement around the United States in the past years, Aiden has had problems making meaningful relationships.
As another sign of his attachment to mankind, Aiden is quite well versed with human culture, making pop cultural references every now and then.

Biography:
There are many theories behind the existence of the Dullahan, from them being the embodiment of the Celtic god of fertility, Crom Dubh, who demanded frequent human sacrifice by the means of decapitation, to them being the result of an ancient Norwegian ritual of beheading corpses. Though, the most likely is that they are former warriors who have reincarnated as Unseelie fairies.

For Aiden, he was once a young Celtic tribal warrior named Áedán who was beheaded by a rival tribe after defeat in battle. After being reincarnated one day, just like the other Dullahan, Aiden spent over a millennium roaming the Irish and Scottish countryside at the darkest nights as the harbinger of death, terrifying the human populace who made numerous tales and legends of the creatures.

Amongst these, there have been stories of rare Dullahan who became attached to humans. With one of them, namely one where a Dullahan falls in love with an innocent woman who would be burnt at the stake as a witch, belonging to Aiden.

The story goes that during the late 15th century a woman in some village in today's Leinster was going to be burnt at the stake after being wrongfully accused to be a witch. Enamoured by the beauty of the woman during a vision, a Dullahan rode to the village during the day to warn the woman of her impending doom. Pretending to be a human by attaching his rotten head to his body, the dark knight approached the woman, pleading her to escape the village with him. The woman refused, however, with the Dullahan being able to do little to suade her.

And so, at that fateful night, the Dullahan, conflicted about what he should do, watched as the innocent woman was burnt to death, not even being able to call her name. Then, in a fit of anger and frustration, the Dullahan, mounted on his steed, dashed into the village at the spot where the woman was held and threw a basin of blood onto the individuals who he knew were responsible for the trial, before taking off with the corpse of the woman.

As an act of vengeance in the name of the woman, the Dullahan began killing the people he had marked that night. However, despite this, not having her soul guided to the afterlife during her death would leave the woman's tormented ghost to roam the village grounds, haunting it for generations. As for the Dullahan, the event would change him; reawakening some of his former human side and making him despise early demises of innocent humans at the hands of others, with this feeling growing to the point that the Dullahan would swear to prevent such loss of life and to punish those that would cause such deaths.

After the event, Áedán, having changed, stopped hiding in the darkness of the night and began traveling around Europe and further, meeting many people and cultures of all kinds which further developed his attachment to humans

It is unknown to CITRON as to when Aiden Dugald arrived to the United States or when he assumed this alias. The first time Aiden came to the interest of CITRON as "The Headless Rider" was during the prohibition era when rumours of a headless motorcyclist began among the members of the Mafia families in the states of New York and Illinois who believed that they were being pursued by the supernatural being. However, it is possible that the Dullahan had arrived to the US as early as mid 19th century alongside millions of Irish immigrants who fled to America during the Great Irish Famine.

Since then, the first and only footage of the Headless Rider available to CITRON was attained in 2007 when an operative in the state of Nevada recovered dash cam footage that showed a collision that Aiden was involved in alongside his totalled motorcycle. The video showed how Aiden's headless body wandered around the crash site, before picking up his helmet clad head and limping away from the scene.

Despite this, CITRON has had minimal success of consistently tracking Aiden because of his constant movement around the United States.

Other Information

Nickname: The Headless Rider
Equipment: Apart from his motorcycle gear and the bare minimum necessary to live in today's world, Aiden has only two pieces of equipment worthy of attention:
  • Triumph Bonneville T120 Black: An iconic British motorcycle design updated for use in the modern times. Aiden's modified bike has been fully blackened out with a unique type of paint and frequently spits fire out of the exhausts while riding on the road.
  • Silver Ring: A silver ring that Aiden wears on his right index finger. Appearing to be a normal ring, it's properties or use to Aiden are unknown.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Access and Occlusion: As a Dullahan, any door, gate or other type barrier that blocks Aiden's path will burst open to let him through.
  • Grim Reaper: Being a psychopomp, it is the task of a Dullahan to be present at the site of a death of a human to be able guide to guide their souls to the afterlife. This is achieved in two ways:
Vision - when the life of a human will be coming to an end, the nearest Dullahan will receive a vision that will show them the identity of the person and the time and place of their death. Having arrived at the said time and place, the Dullahan will say the name of the person to trigger a painless death and reveal their soul. If the Dullahan isn't present or doesn't say the name, the person will die regardless (often painfully and in suffering), however their soul will be left to remain on earth.
Mark - using blood, a Dullahan can mark a human to claim the sole right to reap their soul. With it, they will learn of the individual’s identity and once their time will near the end the Dullahan will receive a vision. However, the Dullahan also holds the right to end the life of a marked soul at any point they wish to, all they have to do is say the name of the marked person. The death that will occur will depend on circumstances, but most of the time it will be a heart attack. However, if the Dullahan won't be present at the place of death the soul will be left to roam the earth.

  • Head Liberation: As mentioned previously, the Dullahans have their heads detached from their bodies, having a spiritual link between them. A Dullahan’s body is fully able to function without a head and the range of how far the head and body can be safely separated is quite long, however, if a Dullahan’s head is lost or destroyed then their body will go berserk in search for it, akin to the Headless Horseman of the Sleepy Hollow. Without a head a Dullahan is unable to perform their duties as a guide of souls.
  • Immortality: A Dullahan’s body is practically immortal, possessing minimal invulnerability with physical attacks, such as gunshot wounds or stabs only temporarily stunning it. The only way to fight a Dullahan and possibly kill it is with the use of magic.
  • Enhanced Vision: On the other hand, a Dullahan’s head, despite its appearance, is possessed with the gift of a supernatural sight, giving it the ability of seeing for vast distances, even in darkness.
  • Fear Inducement: It's a headless, undead fairy of death that is impossible to stop once it's coming after you, don't pretend that you don't feel a little bit shaky upon seeing it.

  • Combat Proficiency: Being a former Celtic warrior, Aiden has combat experience that he’s improved during the latter part of his life as a Dullahan. He is able to fight barehanded and with a multitude of weapons with a sufficient amount of proficiency, even having experience of using firearms.
  • Investigative Mind: Over time and mentorship of an expert private investigator, Aiden developed an analytical mindset which was a necessity for him so he use his visions to save the people that would be fated to die.

Hair: Black, wavy and hangs just past her shoulders
Skin Tone/Color: Pale
Description: Pale, nearly flawless skin, dark red eyes and jet black hair, Colette fits the typical appearance of a vampire. Her tall, curvy figure attracts her a fair deal of attention from men and woman alike, and she thrives on this attention and she feeds on the attention, both figuratively and literally at times.

Psychological Profile:

Character Summary: A seductive, manipulative and cold hearted vampire. Colette lives a relatively quiet life built upon decades of bloodshed and violence.

Personality: Outwardly Colette comes off as personable, though behind her sweet smiles and gentle eyes is a cold, hardened woman who has decades of hardship and violence behind her. Of course one wouldn't guess that from meeting her, as she taken great steps to leave behind her sorted past back in Europe.

Colette was born in the 1700s on a small farm outside of Lyon, France. She grew up in the years before the revolution rose and took hold of the country, upending the social hierarchy and monarchy. The only child to a pair of impoverished farmers, Colette's early years were spent tilling the land and struggling to survive. Like many peasants who were apart of the third estate, Colette's family farm wasn't owned by her parents, rather a noble household, in their case the Duval Household. Lord Duval was an eccentric man with a mind for fiance who owned and operated several banks in the major cities of France.
His wife, the lovely Bellarose, was the apple of his eye.

When Colette was ten, she'd grown into a lovely young woman, one who had caught the eye of Bellarose. When offered the chance to be debt free in exchange for their daughter, Colette's parents were quick to choose their daughter. Not long after, both were stricken with illness and died, leaving Colette with no one.
Heart broken and alone, she was taken in by the Duval household, where Bellarose was quick to paint herself as a tender motherly figure to the grieving young woman.

Of course, things weren't quite what they seemed, as Bellarose was a vampire, young by vampire standards, but ambitious. Ambitious, selfish and arrogant, Bellarose had married into money and while her husband was busy with work and other affairs, Bellarose was bedding and feeding on other men.
Colette, with her lovely features, was groomed to assisted Bellarose in attracting more prey, a task the girl took no pleasure in at first. Refusal meant punishment however, a fact Colette learned the hard way early on. She still bears the scars from a brutal beating she received at the hands of Bellarose.

Colette grew to deeply resent Bellarose and all she made her do, but swallowed her disdain and hatred for years in order to appease the vampire. She came to envy her for her undying life, how she would persevere long after Colette was dead and gone. Though Bellarose never told her how she came to a vampire, she did inform the woman how one would be turned, and Colette made it her mission to be turned, one way or another. The death of her parents early in her life left her with a creeping fear of death and the unknown, Colette longed for the immortality that being a vampire could offer her.

She would have her chance as the revolution took hold, and the monarchy came to be under threat from the populace it ruled. Wanting to cut her losses and start fresh, Bellarose's husband died under mysterious circumstances and the vampire made plans to make her escape.
Colette pleaded with the vampire for one final favor, to be turned so that she may start life anew. Bellarose, as arrogant as she was, like the idea of an immortal lap dog at her side, and agreed.
She never imagined Colette would defy, or harm her. She was mistaken, as the first thing Colette did after being turned was to kill her sire.

Colette's early life as a vampire was spent moving from place to place, France under went many drastic changes during the revolution and many unfortunate souls fell between the cracks as the country's monarchy was ousted in favor of eventually establishing a republic. Colette found it was all too easy to find people to feed off of, and spent many of her early years as a vampire exploring her new found abilities, and acquiring a fine pallet for all matters of blood.
She could consume human food, but found it wasn't nearly as satisfying.

Selfish much like her sire, Colette had zero qualms about killing those she fed off of, she moved about France and all of Europe and left bodies behind her wake. Her consumption of human blood over the years allowed her develop aspects of much older vampires, mainly blood magic and complete shape shifting. Given she's lived for two centuries, Colette has amassed quite the fortune over the years, mainly through high profile marriages, theft, and more recently, selling artifacts from her native time to collectors and museums.

When CITRON was founded in the early 19th century, Colette became more wary, less she attract more unwanted attention. This meant cutting back on her consumption of human blood, and finding more creative ways of obtaining it outside of hunting and killing her victims.

Currently, she's living in the United States, having grown bored with Europe in the early 2000s. Deciding she wanted a more mundane lifestyle, Colette used her resources to put herself through school and went to medical school, from there she's gone on to find work at a nurse at a local hospital.
She lives in Nebraska, one of the most boring states around and on the outside, lives the average life of a young single woman in the working world.

Wren 'Lifeline' Davies
1544379668554.png
1544379705555.png
Name: Revenant

Other Names: Zombie, Risen, The Living Dead

Type: Undead

Intelligence: Sapient

Location: Worldwide

Description: Similar to zombies, Revenants are undead corpses that rise from the dead, however they do not because of a plague or to consume the flesh of the living. No, revenants are vengeful spirits who couldn't find rest in death, and so they forcibly occupy a dead body and rise, in search of the force that wronged them so horribly. Sometimes, revenants rise with their original bodies, if that isn't available they will occupy any corpse that suits their needs. Once occupied that corpse will cease to rot, no bodily functions, such as respiration, blood circulation or growth will take place. Revenants are spirits walking around in meat suits, which act as their puppets with which they will enact their revenge. When said vengeance is had, typically a revenants spirit will find rest, but in rare cases they remain lost and unable to move on. Should this happen they continue to house bodies and can live among humans.

Traits:
  • Undying- Given they are already dead Revenants cannot be killed traditionally, if their current body is destroyed but their vengeance is not satiated, the spirit will possess a new corpse. However if their soul is captured or banished through supernatural means they cannot find a new body.
  • Immunity to disease
  • Immunity to toxins
  • Enhanced Form- While housed in a body a revenant can unlock the limits on said form, which grants them super human variants of the following:
    • Strength
    • Stamina
    • Reflexes
    • Speed
  • Immunity to Pain (unless it comes from specific sources- see counters)
  • No Bodily Functions: Revenants do not eat, they do not require sleep or medical care. Should their body be injured they cannot heal and rely on external sources to hold them together
Counters:
  • Fire, Cold- A revenants body is weak to flames, like many undead creatures, and damage inflicted by fire is one of two kinds of pain they can feel. The second is cold, as their bodies can lock up and freeze should they get too cold.
  • Traditional Weaponry: Though revenants cannot feel pain from traditional damage, their bodies do not heal naturally and so they can be stopped by things like bullets and the like.
Threat Level: 2
"If at first you don't succeed, die die again".

General Information

Name: Wren Davies
Age: Died at age thirty, has been a revenant for 16 years
Gender: Female
Ethnicity: English
Birthdate: October, 15, 1980
Nationality: American
Birthplace: London, England- United Kingdom- Emigrated to the United States as an infant, and grew up in Los Angeles, California
Organisation: FBI
Employed Since: May 5, 2013

Physical Information

Height: 5'8
Build: Tall, Slender
Eyes: Red
Hair: White
Skin Tone: Pale
Description: Unnatural in appearance, Wren tends to attract confused and awed stares where ever she goes. With her pale skin, perfectly white hair and blood red eyes she looks like something straight out of a comic book. Of course, this isn't the appearance she was born with, but in all honestly she's nearly forgotten what she truly looks like. Her cheeks are marred with horrid scars, remnants of a horrid accident that befell and likely killed the body she currently possess. She often wears a face mask when she goes out to avoid causing public panic.

Psychological Profile:

Character Summary: An undead solider bent on revenge, and willing to do whatever it takes to get it.

Personality: Wren was once a outgoing, eager and adventurous soul, always looking ahead and never back. Nowadays, she's more stoic and reserved, in part because her mangled face is off putting. Wren finds it difficult to relate to and open up to other people, because she's well aware that she'll likely "out live" anyone she forms some sort of connection to. She prefers to keep people at an arm's length emotionally, because it will hurt them less when she eventually dies. Revenants live on borrowed time, and Wren doesn't want to leave anyone behind when she dies for good. She's got a sick sense of humor, and tends to poke fun at her undead status.

Biography:
Wren Davies has been a revenant for nearly twenty years, and can tell you from personal experience that dying does in fact get easier the more times one does it. Originally an FBI field agent, Wren and her team were killed in what was Wren's first major outing with the bureau. She and her team were hunting an unusual serial killer, who's victims were ripped to shreds with animistic touches.
She and the others had no way of knowing they were in pursuit of forces well outside their comprehension. A litch and a werewolf duo, Wren and her team were unprepared and slaughtered at the hands of this undead monstrosity.

For most, this untimely and tragic end would've been just that...the end.

But not for Wren, unable to move on in death she clung desperately to the emotions she felt just before her death. Horror, outrage, anger and above all, fear.
She hated herself for her inability to act, to stop the tragedy...and she wished desperately for a chance to set things right. And so, her soul forced it's way back to the mortal plane...and took up residence in a fresh corpse.

Wren has been hopping from body to body for the last sixteen years, at first she struggled to comprehend her outrageous situation, but soon devoted her "second life" to a new purpose. Hunting down the duo which had lead to her untimely death. For five years Wren hunted down undead cryptids, mainly vampires and werewolves, after three years she caught the attention of CITRON.

Or maybe they'd always been on her case, and were waiting for the perfect moment to intervene, regardless Wren was strong armed into joining the organization, both to funnel her boundless desire for revenge into something more productive, and to protect law abiding cryptid citizens.
Wren resented CITRON for limiting her work at first, but over the years has found the organization gives her "life" new meaning. She's been with CITRON for eight years now, and while she still hunts her killers, she's redirected her focus to achieving CITRON's objectives. She's one of their more reliable recruits, and one of the only one's who's service continues on even after her death. Wren has moved vessels three times during her tenure with CITRON, each time picking a young woman who was somewhat close to her actual age.

Field Operations Information

Callsign: Lifeline ( a name she picked up in training in the FBI, she earned her nick name for coming in clutch during training exercises. once a badge of honor, it's more of a sick joke now, but Wren refuses to change it).
Specialization: Support (Sniper)- Wren prefers to stick to rear in combat, if she takes too much damage in combat her vessel will be at risk. While she's not trained traditionally in medicine, she's become adept at patching injuries, mainly because she has to patch herself up after taking damage. She'll patch up teammates up as necessary, though she warns it'll leave some nasty scars.

Preferred Loadout:
  • Accuracy International AWM- Standard Issue
  • SIG Sauer P226- Standard Issue
  • Tactical Knife- Standard Issue- Used
  • M84 Stun Grenades
  • Advanced Modular Combat Armour- Wears the pictured face mask and a simplified helmet over the usual tactical head covering
Gear Alterations: N/A All of Wren's gear (aside from her helmet) is standard issue, as she doesn't have much sentimental attachments to worldly items.

Skills and Abilities:
  • Organized- Wren has learned to travel light and to store her items efficiently for fast and convenient use on the field.
  • Long Distance Combat: Wren prefers to stick to the rear when on the field, she's a crack shot with her rife and with a pistol, anything to keep her foes at bay
  • Hand to Hand: Not her preferred method of combat, but sometimes it can't be avoided, Wren has training in basic hand to hand combat. Her super human strength, speed and reflexes allow her to sorta bs her way through combat and come out relatively unscathed. And even if she doesn't it isn't like she can feel much, so who cares about some broken bones?
  • Resilient: Wrens undead status makes her especially resilient, as she is able to persevere in spite of injuries and doesn't get fatigued.

Quotes:
"I swear to god, that isn't me that smells, I took three showers today".

"Fidelity, Bravery, Integrity, three traits I'd like to think I still have...despite being a walking corpse".

Name: Litch

Other Names: Necromancer, Witch

Type: E.g. Undead, Magic User

Intelligence: Sapient

Location: Litches are rare, but can be found worldwide

Description: Corrupt mages who's lust for power has transformed them into something monstrous, litches are twisted souls who feed on the life forces of others. Litches are former mages who have unlocked the limits of their magical potential through the vehicle of necromancy. Litches can manipulate the life forces of others, twisting them to their will while still practicing other potent and dangerous magic. While litches maintain a physical form, their "souls" are contained in a vessel outside of their bodies. These are known as phylacteries, and can be any item so long as it has some sort of significance to the litch. It can be as small as a grain of sand on a beach, to as large as a mountain. So long as a litch's soul resides in their phylactery, they are immortal, if killed their spirit will seek shelter in their phylactery and they will eventually regenerate. While litches are truly walking skeletons, they can alter their appearance using magic. Most assume the forms they had when human. It isn't uncommon for litches to be driven mad, as their dark powers eat away at their minds. Most litches who live for several hundred years lose who they were originally, making them all the more dangerous.

Traits:
  • Necromancy
  • Life Force Manipulation
  • Immortality (with phylactery in tact)
  • Supernatural Senses
  • Spell Casting (litches can utilize a wide variety of spells and magics, making them unpredictable)
  • Regeneration (with phylactery in tact)
  • Immunity to:
    • Poison
    • Necrotic Damage
    • Pain- Being undead Litches don't feel pain as humans do
  • Feeds on the life force of others (cannot consume human food)
  • Shape Altering (via magic)
Counters: Fire- Like most undead litches are inherently weak to fire, when their bodies are destroyed with flames it takes longer for them to regenerate, however fire cannot kill them for good.
The only way to reliably "kill" a litch is to destroy their phylactery, this can be done with any means so long as it can be found.
Traditional weaponry effectiveness varies depending on the spells a litch uses in combat, typically it can slow down and incapacitate a litch, but without destroying the phylactery it cannot be killed outright.

Threat Level: 6-7 varies depending on the age and magic employed by a litch.
"I like this game, it's so much fun. I especially like the part when the screaming turns to silence!"

General Information

Name: Avanie
Age: Unknown (Current form has her around 10)
Gender: Assumed to be female
Race: Litch
Birthdate: Unknown
Nationality: N/A
Physical Information

Height/Length: 4'10
Build: Small, thin
Eyes: Slate Gray
Hair: Black
Skin Tone/Color: Pale
Description: Big round eyes, long black hair and a disarmingly sweet smile hides a monster in the flesh. This childish appearance has been crafted by the twisted litch known simply as Avanie, in order to better trick and manipulate the people she interacts with. After all, no one suspects such an innocent face of housing malicious intent.

Psychological Profile:
Character Summary: A twisted soul housed in the body of a young girl, who preys on those who show her even the tiniest bit of kindness. Remembers nothing f her true self and devotes her powers to recreating the fleeting memories she does possess.

Personality: Twisted to her very core, Avanie truly embodies the child like whimsy and innocence that makes some people gravitate toward children. She can laugh, cry, giggle and play like a child of her appearance ought to, and knows just when to turn on the water works to reel someone in. Of course, it doesn't hurt that her fractured mind truly believes that she is a child, and the world is her playground. But underneath that sweet smile is a simmer cauldron of darkness, that will prey on anything that ventures too close. Playful and lively, Avanie truly embodies what it means to be, and act like a child.

Biography: When one aims for immortality, rarely do they consider the effects such a long life span can have on the mind. Humans were not meant to live forever, eventually cracks will begin to form. From those cracks come missing pieces, and great power in the hands of someone with a fractured mind and soul is a truly terrible and terrifying thing. Avanie is a perfect example of such things.
Once, long ago she was a powerful mage, who sought even greater magical might. She found the only way to obtain the power she sought was through the sacrifice of others. Such a path can only end in darkness, and the creation of something truly evil.

Litches are mages who have taken a dark path, who use the lives of others to fuel their own existence. It can lead to tremendous power, one of which is immortality. Litches sustain themselves on the life forces of others, how they choose to harvest this energy is unique to each litch.
But not everything was meant to live forever, and over the years litches tend to become warped and corrupted, eventually the person they once were is swallowed up by their own monstrous power.

Avanie is a prime example of this, she remembers nothing from her own life, she doesn't even remember who she was originally. Small snippets of memory shape her into who she was today. She remembers the cheerful smile and laughter of a young girl, with dark hair and bright eyes. She remembers a loyal canine companion at her side, and how that little girl always referred to that dog as her "big brother".
Avanie knows not if this was her, a child she had, or if it's something she's invented in her madness, but she'd dedicated her undead existence into embodying these memories.

She takes the form of that sweet child, and every few years she finds a new "dog" to act as her companion. At some point she determined using a werewolf for the role fulfills a dual purpose, she can have a "brother" as well as a dog.
It's easy enough to train her new pets, a little mental manipulation and they do exactly as she asks.
Her most recent pet is super pretty, she loves his pretty white fur, it's like snow!

Even with her childlike act, Avanie is driven by her lust for power, and hunts down humans and other cryptids to feed on, after all, the more powerful lives she consumes, the greater her own power grows. Given her predatory nature, she's clashed with CITRON and similar groups all around the world.

Other Information

CITRON Nickname: Little Death
Other Nicknames: Most of these are things she likes for her "brother" to call her:
  • Sweetie
  • Nani
  • Silly Filly
Equipment: Avanie is always in the company of a poor soul she manipulates into being an aid of sorts., typically this individual is a cryptid. Currently, she's in possession of a teenage werewolf. She also has a teddy bear she's fond of, and carries it in her backpack. It's black with a bright red star on it.

Skills and Abilities:
As a litch Avanie possess potent magical powers, alongside her inherent abilities as a litch. This list will include her powers that go outside her powers as a litch, which are listed in the Litch section of the handbook (and found above in the spoiler).
Avanie utilizes a wide variety of magic, including but not limited to:
  • Mind/ Will control: Avanie can manipulate the minds of others, bending them to her will. It's as if she attaches strings to their limbs, and hooks in their brain, forcing them to act against their will. Such manipulation is what keeps her beloved pet in line.
  • Frightening Aura: Avanie can project a magical aura that can paralyze weak willed foes, causing them to freeze in place. The effect varies depending on a person's willpower and magic power.
  • Teleportation: Avanie's preferred method for travel, instantaneous movement from one location to the next. The greater the distance, the more time and energy it takes for the spell to be executed. She's used the spell to travel around the world, but the effort left her drained for several days.
  • Invisibility: Avanie can cloak herself and those she targets with this spell, rendering them invisible from traditional sight
  • Detecting thoughts/ emotions: Avanie can read the minds and emotions of those around them, which helps when choosing victims or manipulating others.
  • Telepathy: The act of moving things with one's mind, a favorite trick of the litch
  • Physical augmentation: Avanie can alter the strength and power of those around her, most often she uses this on Cameron to make him more potent in combat.

Relation with CITRON: Hostile

Quotes:
"Okay, okay, now it's YOUR turn to hide, I'll seek!"
"I don't like it when people don't play by the rules! You're supposed to be screaming right now"
"Bad dog! Bad dogs get punished you know..."

Other Information: Avanie is the cryptid who killed Wren and her unit, of course she doesn't really remember doing it.

Name: Cameron Sterling
Age: 17
Gender: Male
Race: Werewolf
Birthdate: November 5, 2004
Nationality: American

Physical Information

Height/Length: 5'9
Build: Tall, Athletic
Eyes: Golden Yellow
Hair: White
Skin Tone/Color: Pale
Description: A tall, lanky but muscular teenager, Cameron doesn't attract much attention when out and about. If he were an average teenager attending high school, odds are the girls of his grade would gush over his good looks and aloof attitude, unaware of the beast hiding just below the surface. Cameron has never attended such an institution, and he doesn't have the luxury of worrying about such things, not when he's on a leash. And there's a monster holding the other end.

Psychological Profile:
Character Summary: A lone werewolf teen who has gotten in way over his head.

Personality: Aloof and distant, it would be easy to write Cameron off as just another moody teenager. After all, it isn't uncommon for youths to rebel, and to close themselves off from the world. But Cameron's walls are in place for a reason, as they attempt to contain the darkness attached to his hip. He tends to keep people at an arms length in the hopes of keeping them safe from Avanie.

Biography: The son of a lone werewolf who abandoned their pack in favor of of their mate, Cameron has had a rough childhood. His parents were both werewolves, and members of a rival pack. He doesn't know exactly how they met, or fell for one another, but what is clear was that their respective families were enraged by their relationship. The pair left their native home behind, which must've been somewhere covered in snow, at least he assumes that was the case. Truth be told he doesn't remember them very well, as he lost them at a young age.
He's been a ward of the government for all of his life, and has bounced around foster families and group homes for most of his life. Fitting into human society when one's actually a werewolf presented a myriad of challenges, when he turned sixteen he ran away from his latest group home and stuck out on his own.

With little education and no pack to rely on, Cameron shouldered the burden of looking after himself. Despite his unhappy upbringing, the teen didn't become jaded or cruel, though he was more than a little distant.
Perhaps if he had shirked all human interaction and sense of right and wrong, he wouldn't be in his current predicament.
One cold winter's night, Cameron stumbled across a horrid sight. A young girl, bloodied and terrified, running in fear from a drunken slob. Unable to ignore the girl's plight, Cameron stepped in, easily knocking the drunk out cold.
A selfless act that has caught Cameron in a truly dangerous situation.
He soon discovered the little girl he'd "rescued" was in fact a monster, hiding behind a wide eyed, teary girl. The litch known simply as Avanie had set her sights on the werewolf, and now that she'd gotten close she was intent on bending the teen to her will.

After all, every little girl needs a loyal dog at her side. With magic that goes well beyond his understanding, Avanie has twisted his will to serve her desires, more often than not that involves hunting down other cryptids and keeping the litch safe.
While Cameron possesses a will of his own, a snap of Avanie's fingers can erase it, and she can control him like a puppet. If he refuses or worse, fights back, than she makes things worse for him.

She's been stuck to him like glue for two years now, twisting the young werewolf into doing her bidding, which almost always involves hinting down or killing someone.
Avanie likes to treat it all like a game, and Cameron knows he has to play along less he become another one of her victims. It seems Avanie has taken a particular shine to the werewolf, she's a but more lenient with him than she has been with others in the past.

Being stuck with Avanie is an exhausting affair, one Cameron isn't sure he can escape from, at least not with his life. They've clashed with CITRON and similar agencies in the past, and the werewolf longs for some sort of liberation...even if it means his death.

Other Information

Nickname: N/A
Equipment: Cameron has never had much in the way of material possessions, typically he just carries Avanie's back pack which hold her things.

Skills and Abilities: Cameron possesses all the skills of an average werewolf, though he isn't as strong or skilled as an adult wolf. He's also a bit smaller given he isn't full grown yet.
Some of his other skills include:
  • Street Smarts: Cameron has been on his own from the get go, even before leaving the system behind he was cultivating the instincts needed to survive on his own. Now that he's stuck by Avanie's side, those instincts have become more important.
  • Diplomatic: This mainly applies when dealing with Avanie, as he's learned how to talk the girl down and out of certain situations, though it doesn't alays work. He tries to avoid bloodshed when he can though, as he hates the idea of hurting others.

Residence: Cameron's never had a permanent address, he moves about with Avanie as she sees fit.

Relation with CITRON: Hostile (Formerly Neutral)

    Location: Scattered across the world
Description: Perpetuals are a rare subspecies of humanity that possesses extreme regenerative capabilities to the point that they are basically immortal. Throughout history, Perpetuals are worshiped as gods by superstitious folk believing that their powers were divine by origin. The influence of the Perpetuals on human culture can be seen most prominently in East Asia, where stories about undying immortals were frequently told, although there is suspicion that the Greek myth of ambrosia is inspired by the Perpetuals as well. While the Perpetuals might had once ruled as kings or even gods, nowadays they mostly isolate themselves from the rest of the world, finding the rest of humanity simply too inferior to be worth interacting with. While Perpetuals are capable of interbreeding with humans, the results aren't Perpetuals, even though these half-breeds do have extremely long lifespans and some psychic potential. Due to their immortal nature, Perpetuals rarely reproduce, as they find it pointless. In fact, procreation between Perpetuals only happens when the entire subspecies has suffered significant losses in population. Perpetuals are also unnaturally beautiful when viewed by humans, which could be the result of either their advanced biology, or psychic auras.
    Traits:
Regeneration : A Perpetual is capable of regenerating from any physical damage as long as they still possess one living cell and not currently suffering from a mortal wound inflicted by a powerful magical artifact. Their regenerative capabilities persist even after their souls are destroyed, which has led to worship by their discoverers.
Immortality : As their cells never age, a Perpetual's body can live way beyond the lifespan of a normal human.
Immunity to poison and disease : The highly regenerative nature of a Perpetual causes poisonous substances to do negligible damage to them, and their bodies are immune to all diseases except those of psychic nature.
Enhanced Strength, Perception, Agility, and Intelligence : Perpetuals are known to possess strength, perception, agility and intellect way above the average human. They are capable of lifting objects that would be considered heavy by the normal human. and could dodge attacks with unnatural agility. They also have faster reaction times than should be possible, as their enhanced perceptions allow their to perceive time slower than it's normal rate. All Perpetuals also possesses intelligence levels above the standard level of intellect.
Potent Psychic Powers : Perpetuals are known for their potent psychic powers, and could manifest it in a variety of ways, including but not limited to mind control, destruction of physical objects, and even destroying the souls of others. However, the usage of psychic powers could seriously exhaust a Perpetual, and they would need months of rest before recuperating.

Counter: As of now, the most reliable method of killing a Perpetual is via total obliteration(As in the destruction of all living cells of a Perpetual). This can be achieved using various methods, such as burning the Perpetual in extremely high temperatures, submerging them into a vat of extremely corrosive acid, or the more drastic method of dropping a nuclear weapon on them. However, for those that are willing to take the risk for faster elimination, they may attempt to inflict mortal damage on a Perpetual using magical artifacts, although it may fail if the artifact is not crafted for the purpose of slaying Perpetuals. Anti-Perpetual artifacts can be found across the world, although a higher concentration of these artifacts are found within East Asia and the Mediterranean region. Perpetuals can also be permanently disabled by a psychic attack from a source at least as powerful as the Perpetual themselves, which destroys their very souls, leaving behind a vegetative physical body.
    Threat Level: 7

General Information

Name: Lincoln Aberdeen
Age: 58
Gender: Male
Ethnicity: Caucasian
Birthdate: 1963
Nationality: United States of America
Birthplace: Ouray, Colorado, USA.
Organisation: CIA, Directorate of Operations, Special Activities Division, Special Operations Group
Employed Since: 2014

Physical Information

Height: 6'0
Build: Mesomorph
Eyes: Brown
Hair: Black
Skin Tone: Medium
Description: An elder with sunken eyes and a mouth set into a near-permanent frown. His black hair has been buzzed close to the scalp, but one can still see small grey hairs and a prominent widow's peak. His facial hair is trimmed, though their growth itself is quite unkempt - The man has decided to grow it into something of a short beard. The man is typically quite relaxed, though his demeanor shows a stony exterior, and dark eyes do no favours to showing a gentler side. His body is well built from exercise and martial arts, and despite his age there is no lack in focus or power that can be seen. The left forearm is marked with a tattoo showing a dagger wrapped in written bandages - "Life or death, brothers forever." Above the image, from the shoulder to below the left bicep, is a set of gears arranged to show some manner of skull. Depictions of combat are set in the sockets, and around it is a circular border for the quote "Order in Chaos." Both elbows are marked to depict stone tomahawks in flight. The right arm is nearly covered in a sleeve, showing a highly detailed snake-like monster swallowing the arm from the shoulder and almost up to the wrist, the multi-layered teeth stretching out madly in an attempt to pull more flesh into its black-and-grey mouth.

Psychological Profile:

Character Summary: An extremely experienced operator specializing in clandestine duties such as infiltration, sabotage, guerilla action, sharpshooting, interrogation, black propaganda, and scouting. Typically one of the agents assigned to investigate cryptid rumours, liaison and consult with response teams, counter-information or destroy revealing materials, etc.
Personality: Operator x34 is best described as cold, but not without empathy. Far from a psychopath, x34 takes careful consideration of his motives to ensure he does not delve into the mad depths of revenge or blind obedience. x34 believes actions should only be carried to the extent that is necessary to achieve the desired goal, however the extents he is willing to go to are far further than most. An inherent threat, for example, is not afforded any basic rights in his eyes. Extermination is entirely justified, and must be carried out. His moral code understands practicality and little else, though he tries to not lose that precious abstract morality that is afforded so much importance. Outside of his duties, he appears quite normal - whether attempted or not - he jokes, tells stories, and drinks. Typically he refrains from any manner of deeper conversation unless truly pressed, 'deeper' translating to politics, morality, or personal misdeeds. Comrades are of high importance to him, and should be cared for even if they are conscripted cryptids, though they are not expected to learn about him or understand him.
Biography:
Born in the small town of Ouray, quickly abandoned by his young father and left to a late-teens mother with little money. They'd live off of family homes, moving from home to home when they become too much for the homeowners to stand. Eventually, right before going into high-school, she accrues enough money to keep their heads above water. Still, the constant moving leaves him without friends, and with his caregivers constantly changing he had to learn self-reliance. Still, humans are social creatures, and him finds himself growing increasingly depressed. His mother is often busy at work, and him left with little in terms of care. He grows to be increasingly agitated, letting them out in bursts of sudden self harm or damaged property. Near the end of his high-school years, he finds an outlet in martial arts. His grades remain rather low, though he has a passion for learning he simply chooses martial arts training over homework. On tests he shows an impressive ability to retain past information, which keeps him just afloat to graduate.

Following high-school, he signs on with the US army. A gap year of amateur tournaments and various training camps further ignited his fascination for the combat life, and he throws himself into its strict training regime. He comes to love the difficulties and pains, improving little by little with every day. He earns his chevrons in the end. Fighting and combat is rough, though not often brutal. He rises slowly in the ranks, the risks of combat dawning on him quickly. He'd heard before of soldiers that left the force from injury, then had no relevant work experience to care for themselves. He didn't want to end up that way. Continuing his military career, he takes up online post-secondary courses in his free time. He takes a specific interest in psychology, history, and foreign languages. While he'd had an issue with motivation years past, the military has since fixed his bad habits. Years go by this way, his career going well but only by grunt standards. His career moves to through the Green Berets, then the Special Activities Division. He transitions to the CIA's Special Operations Group upon receiving his Bachelor's. He serves for years with them, proving a superior combat ability and survival capability. He does so well he is given the opportunity to join the cream of the crop, the best of the CIA's overt operatives - He joins the Clandestine Service.

An old, grizzled veteran now, he's sent to the Ukraine-Russia border with a small team to gather intelligence on the situation and await further orders. Disappearing civilians and Ukrainian soldiers on the far north warrant investigation, and it is signed off by command. That night, he walks out the only survivor. It is his first experience with a Cryptid. Exactly what the beast was is not revealed to him, though he marks himself with his best recollection of that horrific creature. There is a lack of contact with command shortly after submitting his report, he is left afraid that he's been somehow compromised and therefore abandoned. In fact, he was currently being transferred to Citron. He has since been a dutiful and loyal member of the organization, his extensive background in clandestine tactics and intelligence gathering perfect for an undercover agent.
Field Operations Information

Callsign: Fable
Specialisation: Support - Sabotage, sharpshooting, intelligence gathering, etc. A dirty fighter who prefers to use traps and tricks to assist the team and kill the enemy.
Preferred Loadout: Prefers the standard equipment offered to him, with the exception of his sykes fighting knife, though very frequently makes special requests. As an intelligence agent, his word on what is required is taken more carefully provided he not have a history of excessive force. While sometimes he has requested heavy ordnance equipment, it has only been in the most extreme circumstances. Requests are made, when possible, with evidence of the manner of cryptid being dealt with, and other variables that are being considered during the operation.
Gear Alterations: A balaclava and satchel of various tools.
Skills and Abilities:
* Schooled in Psychology: How the mind works, what we want and what makes us uncomfortable, why we act the way we do, what changes out behaviour. Lincoln understands this stuff well, and uses this frequently to manipulate others during infiltration or interrogations.
* Combat Jack: Years of Muai Thai and Jiu Jitsu, combat training from various military divisions and different branches, a necessity to familiarize oneself with weaponry of international threats and unknowns. Lincoln is well versed in all forms of direct combat, and shows this by commonly using unconventional weapons and tactics during deployment - Chemical agents being a favourite of his.
* Death's hunting dog: Lincoln has a drive bordering on obsession, a dauntless will to carry out his objectives without anything capable of halting him. His mind can force the body to push through damn near anything but the impossible, and leave the wound as another scar.
* Hide in plain sight: Blending in with foliage or people, both are equally deadly. This is not the skill to hide himself however, but hideouts, traps, weaponry, travel routes, and even prisoners. Given proper time and planning, he can make anywhere dangerous.
* Multi-lingual: Self-explanatory. Speaks a few different dialects from eastern-europe and the middle east. He is fluent in Russian and Arabic, and merely passable with a few others.

Quotes: "I'm too old for this sh- fuck, I said it."

Andrew 'Roach' Willis

Willis in Da Nang, Vietnam circa 1965

''I've been alive long enough to know the kind of shit humanity can do to itself, but also long enough to know what it should fear."

General Information

Name: Andrew Willis
Age: 120
Gender: Male
Ethnicity: Caucasian (Perpetual)
Birthdate: 5 November 1901
Nationality: American
Birthplace: Portland, Oregon, United States of America
Organisation: US Army (1917-1953), USMC (1964-1967)
Employed Since: 1967

Physical Information

Height: 5'11" (1.81m)
Build: Athletic
Eyes: Dark brown, changes to green upon using his powers
Hair: Dark brown
Skin Tone: Lightly tanned
Description: Like all other Perpetuals, Andrew stopped aging physically once he became an adult. Thus, despite being well over a century old, Andrew still possesses the appearance of a young man in his early twenties. What makes him stick out from most other Perpetuals is his far more average appearance in comparison to the unnatural beauty of the rest of his kind, making him look a lot more unassuming and disarming.

Psychological Profile:

Character Summary: A relatively young but experienced Perpetual who has fought in many wars and now works for CITRON
Personality: The years spent alive have taught Andrew to be calm and patient, even in the face of danger. He always manages to keep his cool. Other than that, he is incredibly down to earth and friendly, being understanding of the situations people present to him. However, he is also quick to react when something goes wrong. When on a mission, he is far more serious, although he still oftentimes cracks jokes to lighten the mood.
Biography: Born in Portland, Oregon in the year 1901, Andrew was left on the steps of an orphanage as an infant, abandoned by his Perpetual parents. There, he grew up in the orphanage surrounded by other boys. He was always touted as the biggest, smartest, and also the nicest. Having grown bored with his life in the orphanage, Andrew left to sign up for the Army when the United States decided to join the Great War in late 1917. Lying about his age, he enlisted and went through basic training. Once finished, he participated in the Aisne Campaign, and later the Meuse-Argonne Offensive.

During the second phase of the Meuse-Argonne Offensive and during a heated battle, Andrew and his unit took a direct hit from a German artillery shell, killing all except him. He was, however, badly wounded in the process and rushed to a field hospital. As if his survival wasn't already astonishing enough, his wounds healed completely within a matter of days, amazing the doctors present. After a full recovery, Andrew demanded to be sent back into the fight, which was accepted. He attributed his survival to pure, dumb luck. His actions awarded him a Distinguished Service Cross and a Purple Heart.

Following the end of the war, Andrew moved to New York in hopes of a better life there. He got a job as a mechanic at a relatively busy workshop. By the time the Second World War erupted, Andrew still looked hardly a day past twenty when he should have already been in his early forties. Passing it off as good genes, he re-enlisted in the Army and was sent to fight in the Eastern Front and was placed in charge of a unit of men. He participated in several battles, most notably Normandy during D-Day.

During the Battle of the Bulge, Andrew's unit was pinned down and surrounded on all sides by German troops. As his men began to die one by one with many more wounded, Andrew unleashed a powerful psychic blast that tore apart the enemy soldiers. While this almost completely drained his energy, it also killed every German in the area, but also knocked his surviving men unconscious. High on adrenaline and with enemy reinforcements arriving, Andrew personally pulled every last one of his men to safety just in time for friendly reinforcements to arrive. For his outstanding act of bravery, he was awarded the Medal of Honor.

After the war ended in 1945, Andrew returned home and went back to his job with newfound respect from his colleagues, largely forgetting about the incident and dismissing it as a hallucination from battle stress. When the Korean War broke out just five years later, he immediately re-enlisted and participated in the Battle of Inchon.

By the 1960s, he had finally realised that something was seriously wrong with him. While he should have been in his sixties by then, he still looked as young as he did after the end of the First World War. He considered going to a doctor or specialist, but decided against that for fear of being laughed at, called a liar, or being outed as a Soviet spy. Thus he decided to instead forge documents in order to prevent suspicion. With a new identity, Andrew essentially started a new life.

He would later be drafted back into the military to fight in Vietnam in 1964 under his new alias. Andrew participated in the Hue-Da Nang Campaign. In 1967, after getting surrounded by Viet Cong on all sides and watching his men slowly die, this triggered a massive psychic response due to him suddenly remembering the events in the Ardennes. His powers created a psychic storm that completely annihilated the attacking Viet Cong. This completely drained him of his psychic power and caused him to slip into a coma for several days.

When he awoke, he found himself in an unfamiliar medical facility outside Vietnam. There, he was approached by CITRON personnel and finally informed about his nature, and what the organisation was, and offered to join. Andrew accepted the offer without a second thought, and was trained by the few other Perpetuals employed by CITRON to control his abilities. Now vastly more experienced, Andrew has learned how to properly control his powers and largely handles more hazardous operations and also deals with other members of his race.
