Hestia:
Hestia stepped out of the sleek black Mercedes, smoothing down her white pleated uniform skirt. She thanked the burly security-looking driver as he opened the door for her, offering a hand. She took it and then waited patiently as he unloaded her meager one suitcase worth of luggage and placed it on the pristine, gumless sidewalk where she stood just outside the steps leading up to the facility. The man nodded to her once before going around the car and climbing into the driver's seat, zooming off to who knows where.

Hestia's mind was a whirlwind of thoughts, which had started since the day had begun. She'd woken up at five in the morning, anticipation for going to this new school with lots of supposed prestige to become, of all things, an assassin-- her mind wouldn't let her sleep. Hestia had eaten, changed into the uniform that had been shipped to her foster home, and then waited until seven o' clock sharp for her predetermined mode of transportation to arrive. Hestia hadn't known what to expect, but it sure hadn't been a Mercedes coupled with a burlesque man who looked like he would fit better in a Mission Impossible movie than real life. His reflective shades had only added to the look, as well as his salt-and-pepper hair. Without so much as a bye to her uncaring one day only foster family, Hestia had signed the necessary paperwork, left a note on the table reiterating what had already been said, and then left with the man-- which had required total trust. But when he'd flashed his badge at her with the school insignia, she'd had no choice but to go or be late on her first day of school-- which is a big no-no.

They'd driven for several miles, past various cities and both the suburbs and urban areas. After a while, the man had turned onto a smaller road that looked like it hadn't been used very often-- not paved but just smoothed down dirt and gravel. It led into a forest, still rich with green summertime leaves. Her sense of alarm had grown until he pointed out to her in a gruff, apathetic voice the beginnings of a building, whose white top Hestia could see even from the distance. They'd driven from the road into a forest valley where it was made apparent that the facility was located. Very isolated. Very remote. Very hidden. As one could only expect from a private, government-oriented, elite facility used to train modern spies, assassins, and agents.

So here she was. Hestia peered up at the tall building, which had a big letter D in white on the side. She'd memorized the map and brochure word for word so she knew this must have been where the restrooms and dining hall were. With a sigh, Hestia hefted her luggage up and began the trek up the stairs, noting the lack of students. Odd, but then again, it was still early. Maybe they had later call times? Hestia shrugged mentally and pushed open the entrance doors to see a spacious room with a modern looking wraparound desk and a cheerful looking red-headed lady sitting behind it.

"Why hello there!" the woman chirped, pushing up her tortoiseshell glasses onto the bridge of her nose. "Welcome to Cikovia (Sick-oh-vee-ah) Academy! You're early!"

Hestia cringed inwardly at the greeter's love of ending every statement with an exclamation mark.

"Hello." Her voice was smooth, cold, lacking in any emotion. The way it had sounded since the day her mother passed away. "Am I too early? Is the facility not open yet?"

"Oh, no," the woman replied in a soothing tone as Hestia rolled her luggage up to the desk. "It's simply that all the students have different call times-- it makes things more organized and easier to track; so kids aren't coming in all at once. Makes my job easier."

Hestia couldn't really care less about the overly perky secretary's job.

"Hm. Do I need to sign anything? Complete any registration?" she asked, her pale blue eyes flickering disinterestedly at the wall behind the red-haired lady's face.

"Oh, yes, just sign this form right here--" She slid a paper and pen over to Hestia, who obediently signed on the indicated line. "-- and then press your finger right here, please!"

Hestia pressed her thumb to the scanner, which flashed red and then green.

"Beautiful!" said the woman, clapping delightedly.

Hestia rolled her eyes internally. Whoever hired this idiot is going to regret it.

"You're all set!" smiled the secretary, taking back the form and then pointing at a set of doors which appeared to lead outside. "Building A is to your right, and those are the girls' dorms. You'll find your room number in the common rooms on the notice board as soon as you enter. You can unpack then. Your schedule will be in your room. Goodbye and good luck!"

Hestia pursed her lips to refrain from interrupting the peevish woman who was basically spouting things Hestia already knew. When she finished her speal, Hestia sighed in relief and then began heading for the double doors.

"Thank you, Sharon," Hestia called over her shoulder. "See you later."

The digital clock sitting on the night stand angrily glared at her for already being awake at such an ungodly hour. Truth of the matter was she had never fallen asleep, her tired blood-shot eyes proof of this. In a last ditch attempt to am least get an hour, she turned over, facing the oppitlstide side of her room. Another fifteen minutes crawl by as she tried to force herself to sleep, but it was an effort that resulted in nothing but frustration. At this point, Amari have up, and sat up.

Her room was dark, only a small area being lit by her clock, which let her see just enough to avoid stepping on what she assumed, were Alice's toys. She was an only child, her parents having been either to exhausted or too busy to have another child. That was fine, since a lot of the help her parents had hired has kids, hence the toys. It made Amari sigh though, she didn't like it when those kids were in her room, they had a tendency to break things, or worse, make a mess. With a sigh, Amari decided let it go, so long as Luther made sure that they didn't break any of her things whole she was away. The car was supposed to be coming at 7, and as her morning ritual did take some time, maybe it was a good thing she couldn't sleep.

Speaking of morning rituals, as she open her bedroom doo, there stood Luther, his fist raised as if he were about to knock on the door. "Ah! Miss Ravencroft, you're already awake," He said, his face holding a disappointed downward glance, "Another sleepless night?"

"What else would it be?" Amari replied quietly, allowing his to step to the side before she left her room. He fell in lone beside her as she walked down the hall, though Amari allowed him to take a few steps ahead of her. He was a large man, very tall, very strong, very Intemidating, but he was more interested in making sure she ate properly and took showers when she needed to. Though he never tried to play the role of a parent, which found odd, as so many nanny's and butler's had before. She liked him because of this. Not to mention his daughter Alice was very cute, despite being a troublemaker.

"I've already set out a clean towel and your new uniform in the bathroom for you, as well as refilling some of the toiletries. Breakfast should be ready shortly after you're done," Luther said, giving Amari a slight smile as she walked into the bathroom, before continuing down the hall. She showered and got dressed quickly, only putting a light moisturizer on her face, before returning to her room to pack. She already wasn't the hugest fan of the uniforms, but private boarding schools normally had such things. Though her wardrobe contained many more casual clothes she packed into a large rolling suitcase, before also packing a small back full of some the more intimate things, before stuffing that in the big bang and zipping it up. After one last check to make sure everythingn was set, she headed downstairs to join Luther and his family for breakfast.

His wife, a lovely woman named Kara, had made pancakes, with a few different sides like bacon, eggs, and a little fruit salad. They all sat at the obnoxiously large dining table, Alice asking toms of questions about her new school, that while Luther and Kara knew the actual premise of, Alice was 10. So, the fact that Amari was leaving to become an assassin was baugely veiled over by a facade of somepreforming arts school. And for the rest of breakfast, they ignored the subject all together.

When 7 am rolled around, Amari had already said her goodbyes to Luther, and his family, making arrangements for her Aunt, who mind you was in a similar fiscal situation as her and her parents were being a world reknown author, to take over care of her family's manor. Amari didn't have any legal say really, u til she was eighteen, but Her aunt was more than willing to be the one who took care of it until then. The only one in her family Amari trusted to really.

In any case, Amari didn't know why a ride had been arranged for her, though when she saw who rolled up, it make a little more sense. An intense looking woman in a black Audi A8, wearing a pantsuit and sunglasses. She looked fairly young, perhaps late twenties to her early thirties. She seemed nice enough, and even allowed Amari to sit upfront after a breift discussion about how she go car sick if she was in the back for too long. The ride too a while, long enough actually, that Amari had fallen asleep.

Her ended a while after, as she began to feel the now uneven rhythm of a dirt road. She snapped awake, taking a quick look around, before galcing at the woman, who assured her that they were almost there. This was confirmed by the very briefly flash of a building through thick trees, all before they pulled up infront of the school. Amari got out, the woman popping the truck so she could get her luggage (which was was amazing all fit into one bag, but it was a really big bag), giving her a moment before driving off. The first thing that Amari noticed was the only other student in sight.

Another girl from the looks of it, so Amari calmly lugged her bag all the way up the steps to the top. She was glad she was correct, another female student(though she was walking away at this point), and a woman who...oh god, it was a morning person. Amari hated morning people, Kara and Luther being the only exceptions because it was part of their job descriptions. Anyway, she cleared her throat. "Um, excuse me," she said, her voice holding a slight monochromatic tone to it, "This is Cikovia, yes?" The woman was very bubbly, making Amari fill out some paper work, as well as leave her thumbprint (which she was a bit hesitant about) before directing her to Building A. She didn't say goodbye to Sharon, or even a thank you as she walked off, finding herself quickly, and somewhat unintentionally, catching up to the other girl. Oh well, these things happen after all.

When she had caught up to her, where at that point she would just look stupid to try and walk anyway with a large rolling luggage bag, she glanced at the girl giving a simple, very slight, as a good morning.

Hestia
Hestia heard a call of "Good morning" from behind her; for a split second she imagined ignoring the voice-- it was too early for human interaction and red-haired Sharon had practically drained her of the little energy she had. But with an internal sigh, Hestia turned and looked, seeing another female who looked about her age, wearing an identical uniform and carrying a rolling luggage bag, with pretty features, albeit expressionless.

Hestia pursed her lips before opening them to utter a cordial: "Good morning."

Her eyes glanced at the girl's pretty face and hair, which looked well groomed and done up.

Wealthy, she thought. Or at least, well cared for. She tried not to be bitter; other people couldn't help it if they were born with better circumstances than others.

"Hello," she greeted, trying to attempt conversation. "I'm Hestia Fauxe. First year. You are?"

Honestly, Amari was a bit surprised the other girl had actually greeted her. This was a school for assassins, and not only them, but agents and spies. Also, side note, shy did a school like this have a brochure? It seemed a little, well, not very secretive as she would have expected, but they did only seem to be handed out to select few. So, she gave the girl a somewhat dull, put polite smile. Friends would be something good to have no? A school like was sure to be full of surprises and unpleasant circumstances. She obviosuly didn't reply to the girls goodmorning, instead taking note of her apperance and facial expression.

Blonde, blue eyes, maybe a year, no, two years older than Amari herself, pretty too. Which meant Amari should probably keep her guard up. Never trust the pretty ones. Anyway, The girl seemed to make some quick judgment of Amari, probably picking upon the fact that she came from money, it was fairly obvious. Amari picked up on the fact that this other girl did not. However, that hardly mattered to Amari, financial situations were not going to be a big contributing factor here, so there was no need to bring it up.

"Hestia?" Amari mused, "What an interesting name. Pretty though," She said, her green eyes briefly meeting Hestia's, before she looked away, scanning their surroundings. After a moment, she looked back, "I am Amari Ravencroft, and yes, I am a first year too." Pausing once more, she looked down at her bag to make sure that it had not fallen open, as this particular one had issues with the zipper when full. To her delight, it hadn't moved at all.

Returning to her conversation, it was Amari's turn to ask a question. "Did Miss Sharon tell you to go to Building A as well?" She asked, glancing back in the direction of the older woman, before back at Hestia.

Hestia
Hestia looked the Ravencroft girl, noting her cold tone and disinterested gaze. She pursed her lips.

Turning your nose up on me, hm? Not good enough for you?

"Thanks," Hestia muttered when Amari complimented her name. She continued walking towards the A building, not caring whether or not the girl was following, but knowing she would. As she walked, she continued to speak.

"Yes, Miss Schroder directed me towards Building A," Hestia said, her tone not cold but not warm. "I expect she told you as well? Unnecessarily, of course. It was all in the brochure." Thank God they'd had a brochure with a map, because Hestia had once tried looking up the map online-- nothing had come up. As was to be expected from a secret academy.

Hestia wheeled her suitcase up to the dorm building, opening the door and entering. She looked for the notice board, which stood in the window of one of the study rooms. She narrowed her eyes and squinted at the tiny print words.

"There we are. Did you say your name was Ravenscroft?" she asked, not really needing to ask. "We're rooming together. Fauxe and Ravenscroft. It says here we're in Room A1. Looks like we'll be spending the rest of the year with each other. What a coincidence."

She didn't seem to pleased with Amari's attitude, and perhaps it would be a little different if she had gotten some sleep, but-a yawn broke the brief silence, Amari reaching up to rub her eyes. "Yeah. Though, this is a school for assassins, and spies, and...secert agents? That was the last one right?" She said, furrowing her brows every so slightly, "A brochure seems like a security risk." What if someone found it? Someone who wasn't supposed to to and exposed them? Wouldn't they all be in danger? Or worse, fleeced to go to a normal school? Amari was a bit lost in thought as they walked, continuing on into building A, before Hestia's voice free her out of them.

"Oh, really?" She asked, looking at the room listings. "Also, Ravencroft. There's no S," She pointed out, "It's fine though, happens all the time. Anyway, we should probably go put our bags away," She said, before looking to Hestia. "Mind if I ask how old you are? I have a feel the first gears are going to be a good mix of different ages," she stated, "I'm 16. You seem a little older."

Hestia
Hestia smirked at the correction but uttered a small apology: "Sorry, my bad. Ravencroft. No 's'. Gotcha."

Looks like little-miss-prissy didn't get her beauty sleep, she thought to herself as Amari yawned. Sixteen, huh, she mused as Amari continued speaking. That explains a lot.

Aloud, she just said, "You're correct. I'm eighteen." An adult now, she added in her head. Finally.

She didn't need parental permission or legal guardianship anymore. She was free. Hestia caught herself before she smiled. She didn't want to look like a grinning fool.

"Let's go find our room, then," she said, already heading towards the hallway that made up the first floor. "Room A1. Shouldn't be hard."

Immediately, Hestia spotted the plaque above a doorway which read: A1.

"Home sweet home," she murmured, pressing her thumb to the fingerprint scanner conveniently placed on the door handle. It beeped quietly and flashed green, the door swinging open easily and silently when Hestia pushed down on the handle. "At least for the next year or two." She knew from reading the brochure that the upper years were rooming in the upper levels of the building-- the seniors having recently vacated the first floor.

Hestia entered the room, looking around. The theme was pleasant enough, with floor to ceiling one-way windows that revealed the forest around them. It looked rather minimalist, but bare. A TV was mounted on the wall, surrounded by shelves. A few chairs, a table, a couch. There was another archway, which Hestia went through. It led to the bedrooms, which were fancy looking bunk bed looking things, the like which Hestia had never seen before. She turned and looked at Amari.

"Do you want the top bunk or the bottom?" she asked.

"Like I said, it happens all the time," Amari said with a little nod, glancing at the room listings one more time, before she looked back at Hestia when she answered her question. "Oh, really?" She didn't actually sound surprised, more like she was perhaps a bit gladbher assumption was correct that even though there were first years, the ages were going to be a mix of teenagers and legal adults. "Well, congrats." It may have sounded a bit sarcastic, though Amari didn't mean it like that. And maybe the congrats was a bit sincere, as Amari couldn't wait to turn 18.

Amari nodded, following after the older girl to their room, waiting for Hestia to use the thumb pad to unlock the door, Amari quickly slipping through before the door relocked. Anyway, the dorm room actually surprised her a bit. It wasn't what she was expecting. Typically, boarding school dorm rooms were small, with uncomfortable bunks and dingy carpets. This, was a lot nicer. Walking further into the room, she left her bag near the archway to the bedroom, before walking to the windows.

She looked put at the forest, only barely seeing what may have been a another building off in the very far distance. She couldn't even tell what color that little for was, which made her crack a small smile. The veiw wad lovely, and they were probably all completely safe out here. She turned away from the veiw when she heard Hestia ask her what bunk she wanted. Amari walked into the bedroom area, she looked at the bunks, then to Hestia. "Which one do you want? I don't which one I have."

Hestia
Hestia shrugged, looking at the beds. They were nice, except a little cramped. Hestia was pretty sure if she were to sit up suddenly she'd hit her head on the top bunk, or if she was sleeping on the top bunk, the ceiling. She tapped her chin and then said:

"Top bunk works for me."

With that, Hestia climbed up the steps, crawling to the bed and putting her suitcase down with a huff. On the bed was a slip of paper with her name on it, followed by a list of classes-- a schedule. Attached to the paper was a little note that read: "Orientation in the dining hall at noon. Full schedule classes will start tomorrow. Settle in your dorm and feel free to tour the campus. Do not enter Building E. Recreational buildings (pool, gym, library) are open for students to utilize before official classes start tomorrow. Welcome to Cikovia.

Wonder how they knew I would pick the top bunk, Hestia mused.

"Well, it appears classes don't start until tomorrow," she said to Amari, a tinge of surprise leaking into her tone. "We've got free reign of the campus until then."

April Donner

April woke up later in the morning, sleeping in at her leisure. She sat up slowly and yawned, stretching her arms out above her. She rubbed her eyes sleepily as she looked over to her alarm clock, checking the time. It read 11:15 AM. Around the same time she normally woke up, when she wasn’t doing anything early, that it.

The blonde girl swung her legs off the side of her bed, sliding her feet into her slippers. She shuffled over to the bathroom, where she started the shower. She stripped off her pajamas and took a shower, singing softly to herself as she did so. She luckily didn’t have to be to the academy until early evening, giving her plenty of time to get ready before it was time for her to leave.

After she showered and brushed her teeth, she came back into her room to pick out her clothes for the day. “Hm, hm, hm... What to wear...” She murmured quietly to herself, thinking. She suddenly paused, having come to a realization. She wore a uniform now. Duh.

April changed into her school uniform, looking at herself in her body sized mirror after she changed. Hm, the skirt seemed a little short on her, but that was okay. She quickly finished getting ready before hopping down the stairs cheerfully, already on to her usual cheerful shenanigans.

“Good morning!” She chirped, despite the fact that it was now after noon at this point. Her mother smiled warmly at her from the kitchen table, where she had been reading a book of sorts. The older lady took off her reading glasses and stood up, giving her daughter a hug.

“Oh, look at you, so grown up... I thought I wouldn’t have to say goodbye for another couple years.” She sniffled tearfully, looking at her daughter proudly. She turned and waddled back into the kitchen, coming back with a cup of tea and toast. “I made breakfast for you, sweetheart. Sit, sit. You better hurry up eating, your ride should be here soon.”

April chuckled nervously, never sure how to respond to these kind of emotions. She appreciated them, of course. Her mom was so kind, and caring... She couldn’t help but want to make her proud. And she was happy she was able to do it.

April sat down and ate her breakfast politely. It was obvious her mom had made it when she had gotten up, so around six in the morning. It was freezing cold. But April didn’t say anything, smiling politely and forcing the disgusting cold tea and toast down her throat.

Right as she finished she heard a knock on the door, which she assumed to be her chauffeur. April let her mom answer the door while she gathered up her bags: a large suitcase and a duffel bag. They were both almost as big as her, yet somehow she managed to carry both of them, waddling forward as she desperately tried to keep her balance.

The next thing she knew, she was in the back of a black car with tinted windows. She looked out the window as they passed through a few towns, her legs swinging below her, as they barely touched the floor. She tried to make polite conversation with her driver, trying to pry information from him. But they had obviously warned him beforehand, as he was very brief and defensive in his answered. April sighed as she gave up, finding talking to him to be boring.

As they arrived, the driver directed her to the main office, where she met the perky secretary. They had some nice conversations. Through her, she’d found out who had already arrived and what first impressions she’d got of them, as well as some random information about campus. Well, this will be exciting, April thought to herself as she trekked to the girls’ dorm, her duffel bag resting halfway down her thigh as the suitcase dragged behind her.

April found her room quickly, though she forgot to check who she was bunking with. She was more focused and scouting out the room. Figuring out her roommate could happen later. Whenever they showed up. She went through all of the things provided by the school. Searching all the cupboards and odd places, looking for secret entrances of sorts. She didn’t find anything interesting, though she had found some books that might be interesting to read.

Once April has searched every corner of the dorm, she finally relaxed. She claimed the top bunk as her own, setting her things up. Hopefully her roommate didn’t mind. It’d be annoying to have to move all of her stuff. She climbed up onto her bed and made herself comfortable, pulling out a Sudoku book to pass the time until her roommate arrived.

Amari nodded when Hestia chose the top bunk, giving her a minute to get up there, before she rolled her bag over to her bunk, picking up the peice of paper which turned out to be her schedule. When Hestia pointed out that classes didn't start until tomorrow, she waved her paper a bit. "Yeah, I saw. Orientation is at noon, and i guess we donf have anything afterwards," She said, looking over her schedule again, before she set it down, and got up. She lifted her suitcase up into her bed, unzipping it so she could unpack. She would assume that they each had a closet and a dresser, or at least separate dressers. Anyway, inside her suitcase was a lot of leggings, skinny jeans, and a variety of different shirts. She assumed that they only had to wear the uniforms when school was actually in session, which would make a lot of sense.

Anyway, she spent a few minutes in silence putting her clothes away, before she got to the few bathroom stuff she brought. Her face wash, moisturizer, and two different face masks, with a few other miscellaneous little things that she set on top of her dresser, going back for the last thing in her bag. A picture of her, her parents, and her grandfather. It was time when she won the marksmanship competition, and it was really the only personal effect that she brought that meant something. She sat that on the small shelf above her bed, making sure it was far back enough so it wouldn't fall, before she zipped her bag up and set it beside her dresser.

Turning back to look up at Hestia on the top bunk, she subconsciously brushed a strand of hair behind her ear. "I think I'll go walk around for a little bit. If you want to, you can come with me. If not, have fun with whatever you decide to do," Amari said, before she turned and left the bedroom area, and then the dorm room completely.

Once out in the hall again, she headed back out to the commonroom, finding a spare brochure laying on one of the tables before she accidentally left her's somewhere else. Anyway, she stood there for a few minutes, looking over the map deciding on where to go first.

Marq woke up as he always did at the exact time of 7:45. He liked waking up naturally without any alarm or other such annoyance, and today was no different. His parents were already up and preparing for his departure - so he could hear. The indistinguishable rustling of different bags and suitcases on the other side of the door was feint but a little too noticable. Marq carefully placed his legs one after another on the right side of his bed before rubbing his eyes with the tips of his fingers. After a brief moment he went to his wardrobe and without hesitation instinctively grabbed the weekday's outfit... After what felt like a brief second, he realized he had to use the uniform he had prepared the day before, as he grumbled frustratedly under his breath. Hurriedly, he grabbed his prepared uniform and put that on instead. The clothing was a rather comfortable fit, and it looked alright.

His door was still closed, he moved the curtains away from his window, which filled his room with the calming morning light. Five minutes had almost passed, and he spent the last minute to make his bed look as neat as ever. He scouted his room for any omissions and, as always, found none.

He placed a hand on the doorknob and pushed his door open, revealing the same walls he'd always seen - the paint had frustratingly enough begun to fall off the walls though. He scurried across the floor, stopping for a moment to align a picture of the little family. He let out a short sigh, smiled at the picture, and thought about the opportunity he had taken. It was the right choice, he was sure of it. A brief moment passed in thought, as he hurried around a corner into the livingroom. At this point he could hear his mother, almost panically, ask where her son's toothbrush was. Another sigh escaped Marq's mouth, this time in humorous disbelief. "In the bathroom, left cupboard, right side just above where I placed your hairbrush yesterday" he said as he rounded the corner knowing fully where everything was placed. He smiled wholeheartedly at his hardworking parents. His dad hurried to the bathroom as his mother threw herself into a tight grip around Marq, tears nearly filling her eyes. "It's alright mom, it's alright" he said, as he latched his arms around her, "You really didn't have to start packing" he said with a forced smile on his face. Marq had really wanted to pack his luggage himself, and at that moment he preferred to not look at what was on the floor in front of him - his parents had been a bit too eager to prepare everything. The hug eased off, the clock showed 8:08 and it was time for the usual mornng almond tea. He went into the kitchen, found his cup where it always stood, and poured up the freshly brewed tea, that his father had begun preparing at 8:03.

So far everything had followed the schedule quite neatly, which he thought was always a sign of a good day. The morning rays hit their dining table, making for a quite comfortable setting to drink the morning tea. Every other day was coffee. His ride to the Cikovia Academy was scheduled to arrive at 8:30, so he did have plenty of time to make his departure as easy as possible. He saw both his parents doing their best to pack his stuff, and he signalled them to stop in their tracks and to sit down at the table. While he drank from his tea, he also gestured for him to do the rest "... With a pretty please on top". The rest of the time went with Marq desperately trying to fix his parent's packing-system. It was organized, but not quite in the right way. After twenty minutes, which felt like a lifetime, Marq had organized his bag and suitcase with everything he needed. A mere two minutes before his ride would hopefully arrive.

The three of them now stood in the doorway as Marq began putting on his thin grey jacket, as he pulled his zipper all the way up, closing his jacket entirely. His mother closed in on him, with his father standing right behind her, both of them with proud tears but sorrowful expressions. "Remember to h-hold up your hand in class and say a lot" his mother stuttered, and Marq responded with the usual nod. "I'm gonna try my best" he responded after a short time. "Remember to send us letters at the regular as well, so we know how you're doing!" the father proclaimed, trying to sound as non-affected as he could. Marq nodded, as he shortly afterwards heard the sound of a car engine nearby. He was just about to turn towards the door, before his mother zipped down his jacket a little bit, with the reasoning "I d-don't think you have to zip it all the way, dear". In a very instinctive motion, Marq zipped it all the way up again. No way he was going to let that zipper sit anywhere else. He giggled silently to himself before opening the door and taking his first step outside. A black A6 was idly waiting for him to get inside - the windows were tinted black. As he made his way towards the car, his mother waddled slowly behind him, until Marq assured her it was gonna be okay, kissed her on her forehead, loading the trunk before getting into the car.

It was a long drive. Marq had begun sorting the chauffeur's glove compartment to his annoyance, after not being able to strike up a conversation. The drive lasted for 42 minutes, before a facility was beginning to show behind the trees. "So this is it?" He asked the chauffeur who just glared back at him.

The care eventually stopped, and the chauffeur gestured for Marq to get out - preferrably quite fast. Marq opened the trunk and took out his bag and suitcase, and made his way towards what he hoped was the reception building, kicking a rock away from the stairs for it to fall between the plants where it belonged. As he entered the building he was met with a red-haired woman who introduced herself as Sharon. A few minutes of asking questions back and forth, and Marq put his fingerprint on a paper. "And that should be all!" she exclaimed. Marq forced a smile. As he helped her hair in order, the smile became more and more genuine. A little puzzled Sharon continued "You can find your room number in the common halls and..." until Marq interrupted her. He'd already read all that information in the brochure. He thanked the secretary and made his way towards the common rooms, as he just began noticing the surprising lack of people.

"Caleb!"

Caleb groaned, eyes still stubbornly shut as he simply rolled over in bed. He was having the nicest dream, too. Unfortunately, his brother was persistent. Caleb felt the warm security of his blankets disappear as they were yanked off of him. He slowly opened his eyes, scowling up at Darius as he stood over him, looking just as annoyed. He was already fully dressed, and judging by the smell that filled their shared apartment, had made breakfast. Caleb shifted to his feet with a yawn, and squinted at the light coming in from the window.

"What time is it?" Caleb mumbled.

"It's 7:00, you're gonna make me late." his twin complained.

"Why don't you just leave without me? You have your own car."

"Because I'm not letting you sleep in on your first day!"

Caleb stared blankly at his brother, wondering where in the gene pool something went wrong that made him a morning person. Nonetheless, he understood his attitude. School was important to Darius, and if Caleb wanted to make a good impression at his own new school, he needed to follow his example. Even if the schools they're going to couldn't be more different. He shuffled into the bathroom, showered, brushed his teeth and hair, spent a few minutes pretending to carefully choose what to wear just to annoy his brother, despite having already decided the night before, got dressed, ate breakfast, and practiced his smile in the mirror.

"How long do you need? Do I need to get comfortable while you model for yourself?" Darius called out.

"Hey, this smile's gotten me out of a lot of trouble before. I'm not leaving the house smiling like a heathen!" he yelled back.

By the frustrated grunt that was his brother's only reply, Caleb knew he won for the time being. By the time they finally left their home, it was 7:25, to his twin's chagrin. Darius helped him get his bags into his car, as they gave their goodbyes to each other.

"It's gonna be lonely around here without you, I won't lie." Darius said.

"Don't be a wuss, I'll be sure to visit whenever I can. Might even send you pictures of anyone I think is cute!" Caleb replied.

"Knowing you, I think I'm okay without having pictures of half the school." he teased. "I'm serious though. Try to be careful? I'm still not sure I like the idea of you going off alone to somewhere so...potentially dangerous."

"I'll be fine, D. Just make sure to watch yourself while you're here."

They hugged, and each got into their cars to leave.

The drive to the school was fairly uneventful, though it was a long way from there home. Caleb got there by 8:00 on the dot. He pulled into the facility and got his bags out as he observed the main building. It was intimidating. Not the building itself, but what this all meant for him. This would be the start of his new life, and hopefully it would be a better one than he had before. One his mother would be proud of. He went inside, and was immediately greeted by the woman manning the front desk. He returned the greeting, and went through the paces of getting himself registered, including stamping his fingerprint. He headed over to the common rooms after getting the appropriate information from the secretary.

Location: Building A Commonroom - Outside

Interaction: Open
Mentioned: N/A
She decided she would just walk around campus for a bit to waste some time. Well, not really wasying time, she was going to look around. Looking back in the direction of her room, she quickly took a brief walk down the gall, trying the other doors. Someone seemed to already be in one, through she would never know. The doors wouldn't unlock, so it was good to know nobody but maybe staff could come into their rooms without permission. After that, she left Building A completely. Looking off towards the area Sharon was standing, the stairs right off the front of the school. Anyway, she turned walking off to the closest building, Building B.

Looking at the brochure, she looked back up at the entrance. "Boys dorm. No point in even trying to go in," She muttered to herself. She assumed the door would be locked for girls, and besides, there wouldn't be anything interesting in there anyway. Amari also assumed that the dorms inside would be pretty much the exact same as the ones in Builindg A, so she moved on, heading off to go explore one of the buildings she could actually go in.

Hestia
Hestia watched Amari leave, shrugging and looking at her own stuff. Unpack? She shrugged again and unzipped her suitcase, putting her clothes in the closet and books on the shelves. She left her phone charging on the table. Hestia gathered her toiletries and promptly went in the direction of Building D, where the bathrooms were. Hestia wanted a snack, too. There were 3 more hours until Orientation. More than enough time for Hestia to tour the facility. She exited the dorm room, the lock clicking behind her as she left.

Hestia walked to Building D and began climbing up the staircases, so quietly that even red-haired, loud-mouth Sharon Schroder wouldn't hear. Hestia figured maybe she'd run into somebody sooner or later. It was just awfully quiet.

"Yo."

A male voice sounded form behind Hestia. When did he get here? If she were to look behind, she'd be met with intense red eyes and pitch black hair, complimented with pale skin and a monotone outfit of grays and blacks. "Little far from the dorms, huh?" Alistiar asked, stepping up the steps silently to stand beside her. "Have you gone to the buffet yet? Might want to grab some breakfast if you haven't already..." he asked, an awkward conversation starter. "This campus is a lot bigger than I expected it to be. What are you here for?"

"Did you get everything dear?" Rang a feminine voice across the room. Alice looked up from her light pink briefcase, that was filled with diverse accessories. "Yeah. Give me a second!" She replied, her voice a bit raspy from her cold. Just my luck... Getting a cold on one of the most important days of my life? Fucking hell Out of slight frustration, she chucked her red dress to the side. She kept forgetting that too fancy clothes would most likely be a bother more than anything. With a huff she went over to her window and rolled up the covers revealing the morning sun. Its gentle rays soothed her, and she couldn't help but let a slight smile cross her features. She took out her brush, and with practiced ease started fixing up her hair as she looked at the general public going about their everyday life. An evil smirk started to form on her lips, as she looked at a rather sad looking office worker. From the looks of his messy attire, he most likely got fired yesterday and went out drinking. What an idiot...

"Honey, did you remember to pack your socks?" The voice of her other snapped her out of her daze, and she turned to look at her. Alice's mother was nothing to scoff at. She was an elegant lady in her 40's that still looked as young as every, with fair skin, black hair and emerald green eyes that seemed to be staring through your very being. Alice rolled her eyes with a chuckle "Yeah yeah, i'm an adult mom. Did you forget?"

Her mother brought a hand up to her lips with a little giggle "Oh? Is that so? I keep forgetting with the uncontrollable amount of sweets you eat" Alice's cheeks flushed a bright red, as she subconsciously pushed away the plate of cake she had on her desk.

"Sh-shuddup.." She replied with a pout as her eyes suddenly found the floor to be that much more interesting.

Her mother giggled again. An elegant laugh, only perfected by the elites of society. "I'm only teasing sweetie. But you might want to hurry up, the driver will be here in 30 minutes"

Alice's mouth widened into what could be described as a fish from the reality of those words "Oh right!" She exclaimed, and proceeded to increase her packing speed. It was an impressive speed alright, it took her 25 minutes to pack 5 kilograms worth of luggage. Amazing.

She put on her new uniform, it fit snugly around her waist and chest like it should. As expected, it was hand tailored for the students after all. With her hair perfect, outfit clean and wrinkle free, she marched out with a confident smile. Sending a goofy salute her mother's way as she approached the black Audi.

"Good morning!" She called out to the driver. No response. Oh? We are playing that game? She leaned forward "That's not how you treat a lady you know?" She pressed on with a pout. No response. Her eyes scanned the car, looking for anything she could use against him. Hey eyes landed on his suit, she recognized the manufacturer. It was a cheap brand. "Say... How does it feel to be an under payed government worker driving a car around town? Does it feel degrading?" She leaned closer, and the driver visibly tried to lean away from her. "Mister, why are you leaning away? Am i uncomfortable? Mister why is your suit from a cheap manufacturer? Hey mister, am i annoying you?" She kept nagging him through the ride. Her questions and insults were low blows and had no basis. But they were annoying, which was all she was trying to achieve.

She continued to barrage him with questions throughout the ride, until they arrived at the school where she was almost kicked out of the car. "Rude..." She muttered with a pout. Alice made her way towards the reception. Taking in the air of the school. It was very high class as she recalled seeing from the mail sent brochure. She went over to what looked like the secretary. She just sent away a guy with glasses it would seem. Alice walked up to her "Good morning" Said Alice with a polite smile. Her eyes scanned her name card in her pocket. Sharon is her name, huh?

"Good morning!" Replied Sharon with a happy smile. Red flags started popping up in Alice's head. Ah crap, one of those positive fucks. She hated those type of people. They were not human. They were the type of person that could get an anvil to the face and afterwards thank you for caring for them. However her dislike towards her didn't cross her face, as she went through the procedure with the fingerprints, and was sent off towards her room.

Fishy Fishy

She followed the other person, before calling out to him "Heeeeey!! You with the awesome glasses and plain hair!" She called with a wave, hoping to catch his attention. It was time to see what the other elites looked like. She was excited. Excited to break them that is.

Marq Netley
Location: Staircase

Upon hearing a voice behind him Marq turned his head to scout out behind him, and in his surprise actually saw another person nearby. He stopped on the stairs and turned around, to greet the approaching girl. He met her with a friendly smile and a hand gesture signaling that he had seen her. So there are actually people here. Great!

LoveDoctorBlaze LoveDoctorBlaze

"Hey! You with the..." He began as he inspected her, trying to look for something that stood out.
Neat, purple hair, nicely tailored uniform and.... he thought to himself but stopping himself in his own thoughts. He grimaced inwardly in the slight hope that he had not seen what he thought he'd seen. "... with the pretty hair and uniform" he simply said to not have a too long of a pause. He was now trying his best to not drop the smile, and lowered his hand. He took a few steps towards her, and kept glancing down at her shoes.

As she finally caught up to him, his suspicion was confirmed; both shoes had a left-handed knot. He kneeled down before her, with hands rested on one knee, waiting for her to get a little closer. It's a rookie mistake, it really is - hopefully students of this caliber know better. After a brief moment, he looked up and pointed at her shoes whilst asking "Do you mind real quick?". Not really expecting an answer, he took hold of the shoelaces on her right shoe, untied them, and tied it in a right-handed knot in a matter of a few seconds. As he jumped up again, expecting her to thank him, he put up a hand - "Don't mention it" as he smiled genuinly again. That couldn't have been on purpose for a girl of that caliber he thought to himself as he pressed his hand forward for a gentle handshake.

"The name's Marq Netley - a pleasure to be sure" He said, still scanning her for the littlest of mistakes, but with none found. He looked her in the eyes throughout the introduction, and awaited a response. It didn't quite look like she was a morning person like him, but what do you know, it could just be a simple facade. "What may I call you?" He asked the moment after, of course expecting an answer this time. He quickly broke eye contact to glance at her shoes again, and it brought him some solace that he was able to help the poor girl, then he regained eye contact again, still smiling winsomely.

Moira Wright

Moira stepped out of the house with her suitcase, duffel bag, and backpack in hand. Whipping her head around to look back to her father, she gave him a melancholy smile. “I miss you already,” she exclaimed as she threw a free hand around her dad in a hug. After saying their goodbyes, Moira stuffed her overpacked suitcase and duffel into the trunk and climbed into the car. As the chauffeur pulled away, she sat up against the lowered window and waved her goodbyes to the little family she had left.

Once her house was out of view, Moira turned her attention to the driver. She pestered him with questions until he just ignored her altogether. “What’s your name? How long is the drive? When’s your birthday? What’s your favorite color?...” It turns out that the two of them were in for a very long ride. For half of it, Moira was sleeping like a rock against the door. The second half was spent on her tablet listening to podcasts and reading through the latest news on all of the social media platforms possible. When the actual academy itself finally came into view, Moira gaped in awe.

Next thing she knew, Moira was standing at the entrance of this large academy being weighed down by her luggage. Trudging up the stairs with her baggage was a feat, but she somehow made it. She made it to the front desk where she met someone named Sharon. Sharon seemed very peppy and informed her about various tidbits of the school. Moira thought that she was very welcoming and stayed to talk with her for at least thirty minutes before venturing off to look for her dorm.

Moira made her way to the girl’s dormitories and wandered until she found her dorm.
“Room A2, room A2…. Aha! Found it,” she muttered to herself. As she entered the room, she took a quick moment to sweep the place over with her eyes. ‘Very nice, I wonder if my roommate is here’ she thought to herself. Moira set down her luggage and called out, “Hello?!! Anyone here? I have food!”

Hestia
If Hestia were a normal person, she would have jumped at the unexpected voice which intruded on her thoughts. As it was, she whirled around, ready to lash out with her fists, one of which was still holding her bag of toiletries. Luckily, her brain registered the young man's face before her hands were even moving, and she relaxed into a less stiff position. Hestia wore a bemused expression as she listened to the male jabber on. She studied his features as they stood on the stairs, noting the midnight hair which contrasted her own silver-blonde streaked ponytail. His eyes were a rich red color compared to Hestia's violet-blue ones.

"I already had breakfast before I arrived," she told him, a corner of her mouth curling up into an expression of amusement at the boy's awkward attempt at conversation. "My name is Hestia, and I'm category assassin," she continued. "And you are?"

April Donner

April had gotten a few pages into her puzzle book when she heard someone walk into the dorm room. Startled, she jumped a bit and looked up, her eyes darting around the room as she momentarily forgot where she was. Once she remembered where she was, she chuckled at her panic and closed her book, leaving a pen in to mark her page. She hopped off the top bunk and dusted herself off before adjusting her skirt.

She walked out of the bedroom to greet whoever had walked in, assuming it was her new roommate. “Hi! You’re my new roomie, right?” She asked, seeming excited. Her brown eyes glanced over the other girl, seeing that she was wearing the same uniform as her. Well, at least if she wasn’t her roommate, she was definitely another student. So someone she should get to know.

“Oh-mi-goshhh! I love your hair!” April squealed, stepping closer to the girl to play with her hair. She softly touched the ends, pulling at it a bit to examine it closer. After this, she took the opportunity to pull the other girl in for a hug, giggling.

“We’re going to be best friends.” She stated matter-of-factly as she took a step back, smiling from ear to ear. She cleared her throat and stuck out her hand, offering it for her to shake. “I’m April.”

Alice smiled when he approached her. He looked a bit cuter up closer. However she was a bit confused from his behavior. She followed his eyes, and looked down at her own shoes. What's wrong with my shoes? Suddenly he kneeled down, and Alice lowered the speed of her steps from that gesture. If she wasn't confused before, she sure as hell was now. At this point, she was very cautious of this person.

"Do you mind real quick?" Came his voice suddenly, and Alice looked down at him in surprise "Wha-" She replied in a weird form of stutter when he started fixing her shoelaces. She had no idea what he was fixing, but it was something? She really was at a loss for what to say. Is this how the top of the top looks like? She took the hand of the weird guy. "H-hi. My name is Alice. Charmed." she replied not quite sure on how to handle this person.

Moira Wright

Moira heard a rustling further in the room and assumed it was her roommate. Soon enough she saw a girl emerge from a doorway, “Hi! You're my new roomie right?” the girl said enthusiastically. Moira nodded in response and opened her mouth to respond, but the girl cut her off and surprised her by stepping in closer to play with her hair.

She chuckled from the girl’s compliment and fervent behavior, “Thanks, I got my hair done the other day.”

However, Moira froze up when her new roommate gave her a sudden hug. It's not that she didn't like friendly people- she loved them, but she wasn't used to such behavior when she first acquainted herself with someone. So in a response to the girl’s unexpected gesture, Moira gave her a reluctant tap on the back with one hand and nudged her luggage backward with her other. This girl was a complete stranger to her and right now, Moira’s paranoid imagination was roaming free. ‘How do I know she can be trusted? What if she pickpockets me? We are in a school for spies and assassins after all.’

Moira's thoughts were interrupted by the girl as she held out her hand and introduced herself as April.
“I'm Moira! Isn't this place insane?!!” she exclaimed as she eagerly shook April's hand, returning to her bubbly self.

Moira moved past April with bags and moved towards the beds. She looked at the bunks and saw that the top one was disheveled from already being claimed, so she placed her belongings next to the bottom bunk and sat down on the bottom bed with a plop.

“What category are you in? I’m training to be an agent,” Moira asked as she began to unpack her backpack. She pulled out a tablet, laptop, her phone, and an assortment of snacks. After popping a stick of gum into her mouth, she held out the pack out to April, “Gum?”

Clara had been picked up in a black car and the guy driving wasn't very talkative but that was alright, boring but alright. Once she got there she got out of the car and the man drove away. She couldn't believe she was actually here and maybe just maybe she was step closer finding out what happened to her parents. Holding tight on to her bags she went to building A to find her dorm room. "I wonder what my roommate will be like." She said to herself as she made her way. She check to see where her room was then headed her way there. When she got there she didn't see anyone. Well it was probably a good thing she could be alone for a minute as she packed and took everything in. Once she was done unpacking she looked out the window. "Time to explore!" She headed out the door out on to the campus. She decided she would check out building D since that's where the library and everything else was plus she could make some new friends. When she got there she heard a couple of voices coming from the stair case and....did they say breakfast? "Hey did you say they were still having breakfast!? Is the food any good?" The girl said smiling and it seemed she had just popped up out of no where.
