Christina is the oldest daughter of Antonio and Maria Russo. She was born in Arezzo, Italy. As a father to be, Antonio was interested in what was going on inside his wife's womb as Christina developed inside her. As a Stand user he became even more interested when he noticed a small, ghostly, mechanic looking pink angel beside Christina during an early ultrasound. The doctor and his wife didn't see it, but as a Stand user, Antonio knew that he was looking at a Stand. When Christina was born her Stand was already inside her. Sometimes Antonio would see Pink standing over baby Christina in a guardian pose, but Christina seemed to be oblivious to her stand.
As Christina grew up, her Stand devolved along side her; however, she still didn't seem to be aware that Pink existed, leading Antonio to theorize that Pink was running on autopilot. As a girl, Christina was oblivious to how many time Pink had kept her out of a bad situation. Pink would numb the legs of some perv so that he couldn't follow and catch Christina if she fell from a tree, among other things. This protection also carried over to her little sister, Isabella, leading her to wonder if Pink was their guardian angel when she finally saw her Stand at age 13. Antonio figured out that Christina could see her Stand after noticing one of Christina's drawings labeled "Pink, Guardian of Femininity."
Her dad showed her his Stand in secret and explained to Christina what Stands actually are. He began to teach her how to control Pink. The timing couldn't be more perfect as Christina was going through puberty and Pink probably wouldn't let a teenage guy to touch her, even in a friendly way. As the years went on, Christina managed to keep Pink from darting any guys she didn't want her to. She continued to draw Pink, but explained the drawing as an idea in her head, something like a superhero, instead of as her Stand. Christina recently made it through high school and is making the transition toward college. She wants to pursue a career as an artist, but hasn't quite picked what kind of artist she wants to be.
