leilani wasn't always a bad kid. in fact, growing up she was the perfect daughter to ask for. good grades, good manners, good housekeeping. it was unknown to her mother why leilani changed, simply because her mother was blinded by her own actions. as leilani's life began changing, so did she. things in her household weren't as good as they could have been. in the beginning of middle school, leilani dealt with depression, though she could never identify her feelings. she continued life as normal, just a little more slow. as she progressed into high school, leilani was so consumed with the events of her life she felt empty. she craved things that good grades could no longer satisfy. leilani began hanging out with the wrong crowd, getting into petty trouble like trespassing in a private neighborhood. it wasn't so bad at first, the things she did, but as she got older she started meddling with things far beyond her age. before she knew it, leilani was getting drunk with friends every weekend and began trying pot. although she had only done it twice, her mother had found out. burdened with a new child, stress at work, and marriage problems, leilani's mother could not handle an additional issue, and because of a lack of guidance and handle, leilani was sent to chesterfield. she has been in chesterfield for only half a year, enrolling in the middle of sophomore year when her mother was phoned by the police when her friends were caught smoking weed and drinking underage. leilani never wanted to be a bad kid, she was morally good at heart, but she could never blame herself for what happened to her. she knows she can change, but she wants to change for herself and not for others. she hopes she can change for the better in chesterfield, to prove that the negative things that happen don't define her. she also hopes to be successful to shove it in her stepfather's face.

birthed to mixed parents, leilani can be described as a watered down version of her korean mother. leilani once had beautiful, long hair which reached to her mid-back, but as she became a disappointment to her mother she cut it. she wanted to enter chesterfield with a new look, in hopes of bringing new vibes to her and her progressing personality. leilani dawns black, bobbed hair that is fairly messy unless during formal events. she's rather short, standing only at a fair 5'2". being in martial arts for the amount of time she has been in regular high school, leilani has built some muscle and is rather lean and fit.

leilani is kind at heart, which she shelters with a mean exterior. placed without her friends, leilani can come off as though she is either sad, deep in thought, angry, or emotionless. these are the four things people who do not know leilani usually classify her as. but as she begins to open up to you, people realize that leilani is a kind girl who is severely misunderstood. she keeps herself reserved, closed off to anyone unless they put effort to get to know her. she is a determined person with goals that she will not stop to achieve. she is intelligent and able to solve problems except her personal ones. she has the tendency to cut close ones off as a defense mechanism, which can be rather scary at times. leilani is extremely patient and gives more chances to people than they deserve, but once her limit is pushed it can be a bit scary. she is extremely observant, and will figure a person out before they can figure theirself out. she loves people, but waits for people to try to get to know her because she wants to have mutual effort in relationships. she can be rather stubborn, and learns many lessons the hard way.

until she was 9 years old, leilani lived her life with just her mother. they were very close and did everything together. leilani helped her mother through depression as she had just lost her father and moved to another country from her family. everything was amazing in leilani's life, until her stepfather came. things were okay at first, but as his true colors were revealed things turned for the worse. leilani's mother, blinded by her new love, was unwilling to leave despite the way he treated both of them. he would yell at her mother in public for small things, and kept a tight hand around her leash. leilani's mother was restricted from talking to her family and friends, focusing solely on him. leilani herself was restricted from her mother. when her mother started realizing things were going bad, it was too late. any form of escape would result into a loud argument, her stepfather yelling at leilani's face that she was the cause of her mother's depression and failing marriage. it didn't stop there. when leilani was fifteen, they decided to have a baby together. it was in an attempt to fix their issues, but leilani knew it wouldn't work because the issue was him. she cried upon hearing the news. she didn't want any child to have to go through what she went through, to be raised to an emotionally abusive, manipulative man. as her mother's attention dwindled lower and lower, she began to rely on her friends. she slept at her friend's house almost every weekend, and dated boys to fill the affection she longed for and missed. she began drinking to forget, and smoking to relax. she didn't care about school anymore because her mother could never be proud as long as she was distracted with other issues. her mother continues to live with her husband and child. leilani only communicates with her once every two weeks. leilani has been in three relationships. the second in which has been rather abusive, as he pressured her into doing sexual things she didn't want to. the third was able to help her out of the second, and she was extremely happy for awhile until she moved to chesterfield. they fell apart, and she realized that he guilt tripped her to never thinking he did anything wrong, which is why she was so happy. he became unstable, emotionally and mentally, which drove leilani away as she realized she needed to start taking care of herself.

Biography/History:
Apollo was the first kid in their family and older by a few years. He has a little sister called Jade who he calls JB or Sunshine. In return she called him Moonlight or AJ. His Dad was called Christoph and he's a bad person, a child abuser. His Mom was called Becca who is working an underpaid job to support her kids. Their parents are divorced. They were divorced once she found out he'd been hitting Apollo when she wasn't around. His Dad was a cop and his Mom ended up not getting custody of her children. She went to live with her sister and JB ran off soon after that knowing something bad was gonna happen, promising to keep in touch but she never did.

She was right about the bad stuff. Their Mom died of cancer 6 months later but they told everyone it was a car accident. A rib punctured her lung and she died on the way to the hospital. Apollo couldn't mourn for long. His Dad got even more violent against him and he was bullied at school. He began finding ways to escape. He went to the music room at lunch and began to play guitar and sing. He was pretty good. He graffitied at school and around town to give him a reason to stay out of the house. He couldn't be there when his Dad was there, drunk and abusing him to the point of him going to the hospital.

After one particularly traumatising night with his Dad he went to a coffee shop and blurted out everything going on in his life to the nearest sitting customer. She immediately calmed him down and helped him through it. She then asked if she could leave an anonymous message at the police station about his predicament. He said no but she did it anyway. It turned out she worked for a foster agency and she wanted to help him. Apollo didn't see it that way. He saw it as a way for her to get more money off of another kid. His father was quickly found guilty and thrown behind bars. Apollo was sent to a foster home and he was forced to live there but after escaping the house and others like it multiple times, petty theft and graffiti, they had no choice but to offer for him to go to Chesterfield. He took the opportunity. He wanted to be away from that God awful place.

Friends: He has always had a bad relationship with people so he cut himself off from everyone in order to not be hurt by them again.

Personality:
Fist and foremost, Mark is a musician and an artist. When he is bored, he always likes to sit down and write a song, draw a detailed picture, or sculpt a masterpiece. he did this so much that his parents even bought him a studio. and you can bet that if hes not at school or hanging out with friends, he was in his studio. Mark is also a fashion geek, always making himself look hip, sharp, and stylish. but above all this, he is a lover. he treats everyone he meets with the highest respect and has the manors of a gentlemen. he puts other peoples needs above his own and will sacrifice almost anything for his friends and family.

Biography:
Ever since Birth, Mark has shown the immense gift to create. even when he was a baby, he would draw and paint with the art supplies that his parents bought for him. And as he grew up, his skills got better and better. so good in fact, that his parents sent him to an art school. there he skills got even better, always getting top of of his classes, but there was a problem. he never really socialized with anyone in or outside of school and his parents saw this as an issue. so they pulled him out and had him privately tutored instead. this was for the better, since when they put him back into regular school he mad friends.

When he finally made his way to high school, thats when the social stuff really started. his parents enrolled him in a pretty nice high school. discovering that he had an ear for music in his junior year, his parents had him privately tutored in Guitar, piano, Cello, Violin, on top of his art lessons. sure it was alot of money for them, but Mark was an only child and they wanted him to be the best he could be. He became the star of all the talent shows and even joined a band. things were going his way

Suffering from borderline personality disorder due to issues with abandonment. This gives her a sense of paranoia about others and random periods of strong emotion like anger and depression. This gets her in frequent arguments with others which turn violent as well as self distructive hedonistic behaviour whether it is drug, sex or just shopping. After O.d.ing on drugs and arrested on possession and assault , her most recent foster parents have agreed with the judge to take her to Chesterfield rather than face jail.

Personality:
Gwen at first sight doesn't seem like a person who needs to be in the school, apart from her punk appearance maybe. Energetic anc gregarious with cheeky sense of humor taking little crap from no-one. She is loyal to friends and always willing to help. Her only flaw being she might be a little clingy with those she considers close to and constantly pushes to be involved in things.
However without warning this can change in a dime, going through moods which last from hours to days. This can be crippling depression or red hot anger at friend which she was fine with only an hour or two previously. This stems from paranoia and self depreciation that hits her and makes it digging for her to make or maintain friends. In addition it drives her to reckless behaviour and binges of whatever she can find whether sex, drugs or food.

Biography/History:
Not the most happy history to say the least, Gwen was unwanted result of a one-night stand between to underage teens. Though her parents, initially try to make things worth, the fact she was a burden on her parents was evident and life was difficult. Gwen's mother soon abandoned Gwen and her father when Gwen was five and her father left her with his parents barely a year later to his parents and disappeared. It was devastating for young Gwen but with her grandparents taking care of her she had for the first time a normal and loving upbringing. However her grand parents were old with one grand parent passing and the other incapable of taking care of her, forcing Gwen to be put into foster care.

It was not surprising that she was deeply affected her. In foster care she was a troubled teen, switching from a sweet child to anger and depression. She had few friends as she would alienate herself from others due to fear of abandonment and tends to rub people the wrong way. She got into drugs and other ways to try to get over her depression. It wasn't long until she had health issues and run ins with the law. After one of the latter she was court ordered to attend Chesterfield.

Reason for Enrolling in Chesterfield: Cassie isn't 'bad' she just tends to fall in with the wrong crowds and if she had chosen better friends to spend her time with she may not have had to enroll. What could she have possibly done for measures to have been taken this far? It had first started with drinking quite literally all the time and that became a problem once her parents realized she was drinking at school. Sneaking vodka in water bottles, putting alcohol in any drink she had. What had set them off is when she had crashed the car into the mailbox, because it could've been something worse. She could've hurt someone and so her parents tried every option. Sent her to therapy to talk with someone, sent her to alcoholics anonymous, monitored her constantly and yet she just escalated her ways and started adding drugs into the mix. They were watching their daughter fall into a life that wasn't healthy so they sent her to Chesterfield

General Appearance: Cassie is a typical teenage girl, she has natural brown hair that she likes to play around with. Sometimes she has it darker and sometimes lighter. Besides that she doesn't have anything super extraordinary about her.

The Story


Personality: Caring, Loud, Funny, Optimistic, Stubborn, Emotional,
Strengths: Cassie has nothing but jokes in her which is of course a strength in itself. Even when a mood is soured she tries to find a way to make everyone feel better even if she herself is struggling. She has nothing but care for the ones she loves, but that also comes with a price.

Flaws: Because Cassie can be quite stubborn and emotional it leads her to some difficult ways of coping with her problems. Hence why she is stuck at Chesterfield. When she drinks she doesn't feel and if she does drugs then she feels good. She can't handle the negative emotions that live in her and though she tries to help others she has found that the bottle and pills are what keep her happy.

Habits: When she's anxious or stressed she plays with her hair
Interests: She loves to read and write. Poetry is her favorite but she loves to write music more than anything and her poetry tends to be lyrics. She doesn't let anyone know and keeps her journal of songs to herself and it's a way for her to almost journal out her feelings
Displeasures: She hates when people pry too far into her life. She also hates when people are hypocrites and spiders are absolutely terrifying. She also hates when people don't listen to each other and aren't willing to at least hear the other side.


Biography/History: Cassie had the typical life that everyone has ever dreamed of. Two loving parents a large house, and even the yellow lab to go with it. Picture perfect at least on the outside it was. Her parents were high school sweethearts and have been together for quite a long time. Then along came her. That was supposed to be exciting except her mother became quite depressed afterwards and that caused some tension among her parents that never quite went away. That only bubbled as she aged and she began to hear her parents fight all the time, but they would never split because they were the picture perfect family and that meant they had an image to uphold. So fast forward to her middle school/ early high school years.

Cassie was an outsider to most and she was the popular outsider but she didn't associate with the jocks or the cheerleaders, though she had been friends with some of them growing up. She got invited to the parties even though she never truly wanted to go, but one party is all it took and she began to drink and she liked how she didn't feel anything from it, she didn't feel like a failure, she didn't feel like her life was falling apart, she felt better. Of course when her parents discovered her problem and forced her to all these meeting and therapists she began to rebel more and became better friends with more of the social outcasts. She began to take drugs with them and go out to parties every week. She even began to steal things from her house to sell so she could purchase drugs. She felt better and she needed to keep her actual feelings suppressed and because of what they caused her to do she is now stuck at Chesterfield drugless and drinkless.
