    Personality: Mari is a mild-mannered man who shouldn't be on the battlefield, let alone piloting a mech. He's someone who is easily discouraged and lacks the self-confidence to move forward in life. If anything, he's someone who rejects the call to action in favor of a 'normal' life. Despite his reluctance to piloting, he secretly enjoys flying.


    Affiliation: Neutral, Enemy of the League


    History: Hailing from the Lunar Colony, Mari was the son of a neurologist affiliated with the League. His mother kept him from learning about his father or his occupation for undisclosed reasons. Following the devastation to the colonies, Mari and his older brother became refugees on Earth. While his older brother became an ace pilot for the World League, Mari became a low-leveled data analyst. Rather than envy, Mari instead felt inferior and guilty that he was riding on his brother's coattails. He lived a rather comfortable life in a Blue Zone and pushed the rough life he once had in the Yellow Zones and the suffering of his fellow man to the back of his mind.


    During a Rebel attack on a League Base, Mari attempted to stop the hijacking of an experimental unit. Things panned out differently, however, and Mari ended up somehow being mistaken for a sleeper agent planted by the Rebellion. Labelled as an enemy of the League and someone to be shot on sight, he has since become a fugitive with no other choice but to pilot the Baselard.

History: Jackie grew up hating the League, for grwoing up in the slum area, she had to fend for herself, as her mother was killed by a League soldier in their own home, Jackie couldn't live in the California safe zone slums, and joined up with the Rebels, she found this tank, and fixed it up, now it's one of the battle tanks in the RAID(Rebel Armored Infantry Division-No, I had no idea it'd spell RAID-).

Tank history:She found it rotting away in a old military base out in the Arizona Desert, so really, it's new to the field...


Approximate Height: Average size.(Maybe a bit taller than an American M1A2 Abrams main battle tank)


Weapons: Mounted anti air missiles


Special gun:A rail gun that is extremely unstable, it has NEVER been test fired, but was told it can put a hole in a mech, but, they don't know what will happen to the tank after it's fired. It fires from both cannons, again, unknown fire rate, after shock, or if it will work. Best to not use it unless ABSOLUTELY necessary.


Left and right gun:Fires an anti-tank shell and HEAT rounds, and other tank shells


Mounted on the main guns:Anti personnel HMG's that fire the .50 caliber rounds for light cover and deadly damage to soft targets


Back Missiles:The back Missiles fire anti tank artillery, good for just using it on a group of soldiers in a open field, as the explosions are very devastating, and are not very accurate.

High speed:For the way it's built, and the tires it has, makes it able to travel fast on the open road, and open fields.


Charge:Using it's high speed, the front wheels can be locked into front place, making it an amazing door knocker...Break stuff down...
On the one hand, I feel like I should say that "tomboy" is way to short for a personality, but since I've already seen that do good when it comes to actually playing out your character I'll let it slide. Though for future reference I would like more than a single word.

One more for now, I just really love Yanase Takayuki's designs - especially with Frame Arms since it seems like he wasn't constrained by Gundam design philosophies.

Age: 14(mostly because of timeline issues with her age and when all this kicked off TBH)


Physical Appearance: She is five six, and looks small. She also looks like she has no right to still be alive on the frontier, much less the red zones that she spends some time in. Particularly as she has no visible mech she travels with.


Personality: Angel is not an especially happy person. She will help people if she sees someone in trouble, but she is aloof, and like as not will leave after.


Affiliation: None at the moment. She has been wandering since her parents died, and surviving off trading kaiju parts for supplies. She is however rather disinclined towards supporting the world government, and is thusly rather inclined towards rebellion, although she has had no official communication.


History: Angel is the daughter of two mecha pilots who were part of a security force that ran medium sized(20m) mechs in pairs. They started out as loyal pilots who wanted to help defend their safe zone. They both came from well-off families and knew little of the true situation. Then as they began their duties they saw the truth of their world. They had been planning a departure with their mechs for some time when they were sent out on a particularly nasty mission in the pacific rim involving a small herd of Kaiju led by a medium sized Kaiju that was mysteriously maddened. They managed to take them out, but not without sustaining some damage to their suits. When the battle was over they hauled the corpse of the lead Kaiju up onto a nearby small island and emerged to investigate it. At first they could not find anything odd about it but then they noticed a small purple gem, imbedded in the creatures head. They removed it and found an odd purple gemstone mounted in an old gold-ish setting along with strange markings. They got the sense that this was not something they wanted in the hands of the government, and so they fled early. They set out for the high mountains of a yellow zone in their mechs and managed to survive fairly well. When they left Angel's mother was three months pregnant. Six months later Angel was born and from birth she had odd purple eyes. She was a sickly child who only got better when her mother, who wore the necklace, was close. When she hit three years old she grabbed the pendant and seemed to instantly feel better. She protested when her mother tried to take it back so her mother let her keep it. Unfortunately they had had to rush their escape, and nine years later the government caught up with them. They attacked with one 40m advanced mech and killed her parents, mostly destroying their mechs. They then attempted to crush her with their mechs fist. Right before it smashed her it was stopped by purple light which then erupted upwards. Titan surged up, and as it did it's fist impacted the other mech knocking it backwards to the ground. She then followed it up by crushing the pilots cabin while the mech was on it's back. After mourning for a day or two, she took one of the all terrain motorcycles that were mounted on each of her parents mechs, and used parts from the three mechs to upgrade it. She then set off, and has spent the last year learning to control the pendant, and surviving.


Extra: She possesses an all terrain motorcycle with three specialized wheels that make it next to impossible to damage the tires on terrain. Simply put the wheels function like in Snow Crash, although if you have not read that the wheels are essentially made of many small parts. Specifically the outer surface of the wheels are made of independent parts that are run by sensors within the wheel. They adjust to almost any terrain, and include magnetic pads for metal surfaces, and tiny spikes for stone type surfaces. It can go up a Two hundred miles per hour max, but that only in relatively open areas. This is the fastest the onboard computer can manage, and at that point it can not manage much of any kind of change in direction. In more confined environments the onboard scanning can still manage in the 60-100 range depending on amount of clutter. This can also transform into a suit of armor that fits to her, as listed in mech.

Mecha appearance: It is made of purple semi transparent energy, and looks like a large scale manifestation of Angel./Blue and orange metal suit that adds a few feet in height and a couple in bulk.


Mecha history: The origination of the pendant is unknown, and Titan is not particularly well known. There might be a few tales floating around of pilots who got backed into a corner only to have a massive purple shape show up and save them, but they are not famous./The roadrunner is a modded version of the standard pilot pod her parents mechs came with. It was designed for close quarters moblity and allowing pilots to survive ejections.


Approximate Height: The size varies greatly, but she cannot maintain the massive sizes(100m+) for long as they tax her. Depending on the size she can manage anywhere from 5 minutes of time to an hour. This ranging currently from 120m to 20m./The roadrunner is about two and a half meters.


Weapons: She primarily fights with her hands with the projection. She can change the size as needed, as well as changing the shape of most parts of it, such as changing the arms into blades. Her favorite engagement technique is the eruption technique where she gets close to an opponent and then triggers the pendant, using the force of the expanding shape to add to the power of an initial uppercut. However at the moment she has no ranged capabilities whatsoever./The roadrunner has a single shot beam weapon that must recharge after use. This ranges from small low power shots, that can only really harm unarmored humans, to full power shots which can do light damage to mech armor. However firing the full power shot would utterly use up its power core, and leave her stranded, if it did not just explode.


Functionality: The pendant is magical in nature, and functions by holding light energy into solid form. However it has a limited pool of magic, and that pool is taxed by physical attacks. Bladed attacks are ineffective because the mech cannot be cut so it just relegates them to pointy clubs. Pure energy attacks are also not very helpful as the mech can ground them in it's own energy. Huge amounts of energy can overcome this, but energy attacks do not deplete the magical energy. However the energy threshold lowers as the magical energy levels lower. If it is destroyed either of those ways it shatters and falls, leaving Angel stranded quite a ways up into the air, right around where the chest of the mech was./ The Roadrunner is specifically designed to allow for safe ejection and escape. It has impact negation abilities rated up to 200m, but solely when landing on its feet. This is because the technology to do this is extremely complex and can only function at one angle. Once back to the ground it generally transforms back into the motorcycle.


Powers: Her mech is a purely magical construct. Relatedly, while it is not indestructible it is not strictly damageable. This means you cannot take off limbs or target weakspots. You have to just overcome the magical energy holding it together. It's current limits are not how it will necessarily remain./None

<strong>History</strong>: Born in a blue zone, Klein's family was a prestigious one filled with two battle-hardened pilots turned high brass. Klein's family lived practically on the border of the blue and yellow zone where he lived. He and his sister went to prestigious schools, learned from the best teachers, and excelled in their studies. They even had training in engineering to fix machines. Klein wanted to be a pilot and engineer. His sister, however, wanted something else. When they were older, Klein's sister ran away, leaving a memento to his brother, a necklace, to remember her by. This saddened Klein but, thinking it was for her, kept training to become a pilot and engineer. Soon, SpecForce for the World League saw his talents and brought him in, further increasing his training to better hone his skills. At the end of his training he was given a choice of a machine to pilot. He chose his machine and modified it to better suit him in the field. <strong>Extra</strong>: He always wears a necklace given to him by his sister before she ran away from home.

<strong>Mecha History</strong>: It is a modified LMS-145 Stryker limited production model. It was modified by Klein to fit his style of fighting where it now has enhanced boosters and leg missile pods, along with forearm missile pods instead of the standard spike. The LMS-145 Stryker was a limited production machine, canceled for another production line. The number of Strikers in service today are 60 of the original planned 100. The Stryker's controls are not easily mastered, making the pilots needing to train extra hard for controlling it. The original intent for the Stryker was for a close up melee machine, making it's movements fast and precise for cutting with it's Heat Sword. This had a drawback, making the pilots accidentally overcompensating and leaving themselves open as they need to regain their balance from the hard swing they made. This drawback was what made it undesirable in bulk and had the line canceled. Despite the cancellation, they still make parts for the pilots who do still pilot the machine. And the Stryker Kai is no different. Klein had to specially request parts he designed in order to modify the Stryker and have spare parts for. <strong>Powers</strong>: Burst System - This system is in it's infant stage as the system was just installed on the machine and has never been tested out before. The techs who installed it say that it, in theory, gives the pilot a boost of reflexes and gives the Mobile Suit a boost of speed. Little is known about the system as the techs refuse to disclose any information so it leaves one to wonder if the system is stable or can go out of control.

Personality: Klein's attitude in the battlefield is mixed. Sometimes he jokes while other times he is calm and serious. He doesn't mind having a conversation out of battle. He has no hesitation when it comes to certain things with him being a soldier.

History: Born in a blue zone, Klein's family was a prestigious one filled with two battle-hardened pilots turned high brass. Klein's family lived practically on the border of the blue and yellow zone where he lived. He and his sister went to prestigious schools, learned from the best teachers, and excelled in their studies. They even had training in engineering to fix machines. Klein wanted to be a pilot and engineer. His sister, however, wanted something else. When they were older, Klein's sister ran away, leaving a memento to his brother, a necklace, to remember her by. This saddened Klein but, thinking it was for her, kept training to become a pilot and engineer. Soon, SpecForce for the World League saw his talents and brought him in, further increasing his training to better hone his skills. At the end of his training he was given a choice of a machine to pilot. He chose his machine and modified it to better suit him in the field.


Extra: He always wears a necklace given to him by his sister before she ran away from home.

Mecha history: It is a modified LMS-145 Striker limited production model. It was modified by Klein to fit his style of fighting where it now has enhanced boosters and leg missile pods, along with forearm missile pods instead of the standard spike. The LMS-145 Striker was a limited production machine, canceled for another production line. The number of Strikers in service today are 60 of the original planned 100. The Striker's controls are not easily mastered, making the pilots needing to train extra hard for controlling it. The original intent for the Striker was for a close up melee machine, making it's movements fast and precise for cutting with it's Heat Sword. This had a drawback, making the pilots accidentally overcompensating and leaving themselves open as they need to regain their balance from the hard swing they made. This drawback was what made it undesirable in bulk and had the line canceled. Despite the cancellation, they still make parts for the pilots who do still pilot the machine. And the Striker Kai is no different. Klein had to specially request parts he designed in order to modify the Striker and have spare parts for.   • 1 x BOWA·Norfolk XBR-L Type-3 beam rifle - Custom addition to the Striker Kai's unit. This rifle has greater output and beam focus, resulting in a beam rifle with extremely high penetrative power and damage. Reference image below:

Powers: Burst System - This system is in it's infant stage as the system was just installed on the machine and has never been tested out before. The techs who installed it say that it, in theory, gives the pilot a boost of reflexes and gives the Mobile Suit a boost of speed. Little is known about the system as the techs refuse to disclose any information so it leaves one to wonder if the system is stable or can go out of control.

I always loved the Efreet Kai so when I saw this I knew just what to do. I tried to not make the EXAM system too powerful, too. And I will intro my character.

Personality: A young and idealistic former soldier, Roland has always had a deep seated sense of right and wrong but is slowly beginning to learn the world isn’t as black and white as he first believed.


Roland can often seem short tempered and quick to anger but his military training and personal experience has thankfully taught him not to let it get in the way of a plan. Most of the time anyway.

History: Born to a comfortable station in life within the New England Blue zone, Roland had no idea how bad life really was for most people for most of his life. But he knew that people were suffering to at least some degree and wanted to help as much as he could.


To this end he joined the League Security forces when he was young in order to do his part and help keep people safe. While he excelled as a pilot and was well liked by most for his amicable demeanor, he felt increasingly uncomfortable as he waded deeper into the Military’s aura of control and began to notice things, how people who spoke up against the the League tended to disappear, or how machines returning from extended campaigns in the wastes supposedly to curb the Kaiju would return home with bullet holes.


Eventually his curiosity got the better of him and he decided to do some digging. He snuck out of his barracks one night and broke into the record room, there he managed to find his way through dozens of files, containing information on a rebellion he hadn’t even known existed, suppression plans targeting the more populated cities in the safe zone and other damning evidence of the League’s cruelty towards the people it was claiming to protect, going as far as human experimentation. Finally, he happened across a confidential file labeled “Zone M” he barely managed to get a peak before the guards rushed in and beat him to the ground. He was thrown in the deepest hole the base had to offer, but by some luck this actually saved him. Shortly after his detainment the base he was in was attacked by unknown forces possessing weapons he’d never seen and he manage to escape in the confusion. Stealing a Suit on his way out, Roland escaped to the yellow zone and eventually made contact with a local rebellion cell with whom he now works to figure out the mystery behind this Zone M, the League, and the mysterious force that attacked that night.

Mecha Name: LMS-017 Joust (Special Custom: Full Kit)

Mecha history: A modified version of the standard League Suit, Roland stole it during his break out. It has since been modified with a number of enhancements and alternate parts that give it greater speed and accuracy than the standard model at the cost of armor and general structural integrity.


Approximate Height: just over 20 meters tall. The same as all other joust models.


Weapons: Bullpup Assault Rifle: a short barrel modification on the usual military rifle, it has greater control and accuracy that its contemporaries at the cost of a lower penetration value.


Heat Knifes: A pair of powerful close range weapon in the form of a large knife, capable of generating high temperatures and peeling through most armor.


Armor magnum: A unique weapon and Roland’s personal favorite, the A-Magnum is a large, handgun shaped, single shot weapon capable of firing large metal “bolts” at high speeds that tend to smash anything they don’t pierce. While they are primarily designed to crack the hides of more armored kaiju they also play merry hell with even more heavily armored League Suits. Their main drawback is that due to the weapon’s unique design it has fairly little ammo and isn’t meant to be used except when absolutely necessary. Not to mention it has to be reloaded after every shot.


Rocket Shield: While primarily for defensive purposes, this custom shield also hides a pair of dumb-fire rockets on its underside. It can also be used to bash things in a pinch.


Multi-missile pods: A pair of shoulder mounted missile launchers that each carry a total of 3 pods which each fire a swarm of small seeker missiles. While they lack the full armor penetration of the larger rockets fired from the shield launcher, their collective power can seriously damage any single target or saturate a small area. They also tend to create a thick cloud of smoke on detonation, which can be useful for escaping.


Powers: ECM Tracer: A special device mounted on the Joust’s head allows it to generate outlines of objects by reading their electronic system’s output. This allows the Special custom to see units even through walls, which is why it excels at reconnaissance and stealth operations.


It can also see the “residue” of signals that were recently in the area, allowing it to track targets with relative ease.


Flack armor: A set of thick metal plates strapped to the suit for extra protection. The armor isn't particularly strong but can absorb roughly a single burst of gunfire before being rendered useless. The plates are quite a bit heavier than the custom's usual loadout, so both they and the missile pods are equiped with an emergency expelling system that allows the pilot to shed them in case of an emergency.

Years of piloting a mech took its toll on Diana. She lost her left eye, her left arm, and has had major reconstructive surgery on her spine. She wears a patch over her eye, but has a cybernetic limb replacement, and an exoskeleton grafted onto her spine column to augment her nervous system. She suffered enough damage that her piloting abilities were severely degraded.

Captain Hawker is an engaging officer. She likes to know the people under her command and calls them by name. She knows that she will fail if her people cannot succeed and does whatever is necessary to set them up for success. Hawker goes out of her way to shake everyone's hand and sizes up their personality based on their handshake. (Given her own physical regimen, her handshake has been known to make combat marines wince.)


Smart, seasoned and full of pluck - she takes grief from no one.

The more draconian the League became in suppressing personal liberties, the more disappointed she felt about her government. Finally, she walked away and joined the rebellion, training mech pilots to fight for freedom.


When the operation came up to seize the Legion carrier her name leapt to the top of the list. She had wet navy experience, and was also familiar with 3D combat as a former mech pilot.


Extra:


Hawker is fluent in seven languages: English, German, Russian, Italian, Ancient Greek, Japanese and Hebrew.


While Hawker's mech-piloting is long behind her she sometimes pilots assault shuttles and mech-carriers. This is part of her "lead from the front" mentality, and part of why she's loved by those under her command.

History: Zack was born in the California. For the first five years of his life, he lived in peace with his mom and dad. However, after the Invaders came, he was forced to flee California with his mom and dad, desperately trying to escape the incoming chaos. As they drive down a road in order to escape the Invaders, however, a flash of light blinds him. Zack can barely remember anything from that night, only being able to remember the shrieks of his mom and dad. For the next 13 years of his life, he was raised by a small group of refugees in the deserts of Arizona, where he learned to become a mechanic. It wasn't until the age of 18 that he piloted a mech for the first time, in which he was forced to flee once more when a horde of raiders attacked his second home. Three years later, he continues to live in the ravaged deserts of Arizona, focused purely on surviving with the help of his mech.

Mecha History: A customized mech that was used by the refugee group Zack lived with. It was used for combating raiders during scavenging. It was built using parts from wrecked Jousts, Dolls, and vehicles. It was ultimately inherited by Zack when he escaped with it, as it's original pilot was killed by a raider before the pilot could board it. Zack now depends on Prowler, seeing it as not only his means of defense, but as his home as well.


Height: Roughly 10 meters.


Weapons: It wields two submachine guns called VANDAs that carry a total of 60 rounds per clip. When out of ammo or disarmed, it is capable of using it's hands for hand to hand combat.

Powers: Prowler is able to go into Overboost thanks to it's four thrusters, two located on it's back and one on each side of it's arms in the shoulder region. During Overboost, it can reach speeds of up to 300 mph. However, it slowly drains away energy, making it a last resort for escape.

Though 2 things, check out the rules in the overview if you haven't yet and in story we're in the midst of a battle that's about to carry us out into the middle of the ocean and then to another continent. Outside of her patriotism she is a fairly straight-forward individual and has little time for nonsense or cowardice. She hates when people beat around the bush and absolutely despises surprises in all the forms they might take.

<strong>History</strong>: Mikado was born to a career military family in rural Arizona. For generations her family had fought for their country and she was no exception. At the age of 18 she was quick to enlist in the United States Air Force, aiming to be a pilot for the Thunderbolt II just as her great grandfather had piloted the same-named plane so long ago during the conflicts of the middle east. Much to her parents joy she succeeded and by the time she was 19 she was already being trained to pilot her mech of choice. Unfortunately it was only two short years later that the world changed. The brewing conflict with the colonies saw the creation of the World League. Her once proud nation was gone, replaced by some homogeneous super-state. Despite the agreement she never stopped viewing the United States as the United States and made her disdain known to everyone whether they asked or not. Things just went from bad to worse when the Invaders arrived, throwing what semblance of nationality out the window as they brought Earth to ruins. She was on the frontlines, giving everything she had to defend her country but it was simply not enough. While fortunate to survive she was left bitter and frustrated. Her frustration only grew as the World League became more and more oppressive, cracking down on all dissidents and she found herself pointing her guns at people more than the monsters the Invaders had left behind. After many years she finally had enough, viewing the World League as being nothing more than an invading force of her homeland. As such she defected and using her Thunderbolt she fought her way into the yellow-zone east of the California blue-zone. It was there that she met up with like-minded individuals and soon enough she was a member of the rebellion fighting against the World League.

<strong>Mecha history</strong>: The A-10 Thunderbolt II was a limited production model built for the United States Air Force prior to the incident of 2077. It saw extensive action in the one-day war and the events that followed. It's design proved quite valuable to the World League in their fight against the Kaiju but was ultimately phased out in favor of more modern models. This particular model was piloted by Mikado during the events of the war and the on-going struggle with the Kaiju. As the World League descended more and more into oppression and control Mikado chose to defect, feeling the World League did not embody the principles she had signed up in order to defend. Upon her defection she took her Thunderbolt with her, fleeing into the yellow zone.

Their limited range and piercing power make them ineffective against other mechs.

As such they are almost exclusively used for sustained flight to and from the combat zone and small jumps to re-position.

Due to it's general poor maneuverability the Thunderbolt II had to make up for it with defensive capabilities. With energy weapons becoming more and more commonplace the Thunderbolt was given a coat that could absorb energy impacts. The coating provided crucial seconds needed to either retaliate and shoot down the offender or move to cover. While called Anti-Laser the coating can absorb a variety of energy types although it generally only lasts for a few seconds of sustained fire. Since it can be worn down fairly quick the Thunderbolt has to have the coating re-applied after every battle where it gets hit.

Rocco stands at a tall 6'3" with a large, muscular build. He has a grizzled look that suits his old occupation of being a mechanic. His right arm is a mechanical prosthetic, that he himself designed. The hand is usually gloved so as not to show people that he himself is part machine. With his gloves, Rocco tends to wear fairly basic clothing, a jacket with a t-shirt or muscle shirt underneath and jeans accompanied by combat boots.




Personality
:

Rocco has always been a salt of the earth type of person. He tends to be interested in helping people out and doing what it takes for the good of the general populace. Despite the many tragedies that have affected his life he still does his best to keep a smile on his face and find humor even when being faced with the threat of death.

But even with his overly chipper attitude, Rocco does have a few skeletons in his closet which contribute to his vengeful vendetta. Though a kind hearted person, Rocco does not believe in second chances, and should you make it it onto his list, you best start praying.

Affiliation:

Rocco used to be apart of the World League military but after a betrayal that left him crippled and his wife dead, he has since left in search of redemption. Currently the mechanic is a vagabond, but does have inclinations to join the rebellion.




History
:

Growing up on earth Rocco lived a fairly happy life. His father was a soldier, so he wasn't home much, but from what Rocco could remember he was generally a very kind hearted individual. He treated his wife well and he spent lots of time with Rocco when he was home. Sadly though, he died during a terrorist attack on a military base. From then on Rocco wanted to join the military, to ensure something like that never happened again. Thus was his child like optimism. But as the boy grew up he discovered his incredible knack for creation, engineering and mechanical repair. Not only was the boy incredibly gifted in these fields but he also seemed to have his own artistic flare to the work he did.

Deciding to combine his two passions, Rocco joined the military when he was 18 as an engineer/mechanic for the military. From there he worked on military grade Mechs and then eventually became the lead mechanic for the New York military base. It was here that Rocco met the love of his life, one of the mech pilots and soldiers for the World League.

During the invasions and attacks on earth, the ones in command of the military base used the soldiers stationed there, and it's inhabitants as bait so they themselves could get away. After his wife died valiantly on the battlefield and the base was destroyed, Rocco found he was the only survivor. Barely escaping the attack in a stolen Mech, the Mechanic made his way down south, but not before loosing an arm. After a hazy year the man had a dream. In the dream a voice promised him vengeance, and a deal. The next morning Rocco began to build, creating a Mech.

Rocco loves both Rock and Jazz and any mix between the two. His favorite band is Black Sabbath.

Mecha history:

Rache was built by Rocco Falkov only 2 years ago after a voice came to him in a dream, offering the mechanic vengeance. The next day he began construction immediately, creating and designing a mech all the while being guided by what he assumes is his subconscious. Or is it something more? Rocco doesn't like to dwell on the thought too much. Either way, after a year of construction he finally completed his magnum opus; Rache. For a time the cockpit's controls were like most any mecha's, until another thought came from his "subconscious". He was to build a control system that was directly linked to him. It was risky, but in Rocco's mind it was worth it.

After several months of work the Mechanic designed a prototype piece of technology that linked him and his machine. Not even bothering to design anything beyond the prototype, Rocco had the piece of technology surgically implanted right into his spinal cord. Now Rache and Rocco are linked, for better or for worse.

The machine itself is not well known as of yet, but Rocco hopes to change that soon. He has begun taking out military convoys in search of information on the location of those he wishes to destroy. So far he has come up empty, but Gearhead won't stop now.

Powers:

The Rache has been linked to Rocco, making the reaction time between machine and pilot almost zero. This is one of the Mech's greatest advantages, along with the versatile array of weaponry and the articulation of the machine. The Rache also can propel itself off the ground using the thrusters on it's calves, making the movements that much more nimble and deadly. Altogether, the Rache is a decent enough mech, but it does seem to harbor some deep secret that even Rocco is unaware of.

Amelia's family lived practically on the border of the blue and yellow zone where he lived. Amelia and her Brother went to prestigious schools, learned from the best teachers, and excelled in their studies. They even had training in engineering to fix machines. Her brother wanted to be a pilot and engineer. Amelia, however, Became a pilot for the Rebel after overhearing some officer's at the world league talk, she learned that they were not what she had expected and became enraged at the way they were doing things. When they were older, Amelia ran away, leaving a memento to his brother, a necklace, to remember her by. This saddened her brother. Soon, she joined the rebel giving them the information she had overheard from the officer's, decided to change how things worked and free the blue zone from the World league she continued training pushing herself over the limit every time, for her being the best didn't mean anything it was about doing it with as little casualty possible. Her capacity with a mech was more than good, she was nimble and she was quick, on the battlefield she was known as the Blood Rose. Her Mech is a one of a kind, modified by her and the rebel to make the enemy fear her way before she even reach them.

Looks good over all. Seems like you put quite a bit of thought into him. One thing that might be an issue though is that the Rebels have sort of already mobilized, and they're in the middle of the ocean at the moment. So picking up a neutral party could be an issue at this particular moment. If you want to jump in right away, it might be best to keep the same general backstory but have him as already having joined the rebels and just sort of have him appear on the ship as if he was already there.


Otherwise you might have to wait until they make landfall again.


Although, for what it's worth, we're moving towards another fight relativly soon, so you could have him appear in the middle of that if you want, though even that may take some time.

Simple, but looks good over all. The Mech reminds me a lot of the Wing Gundam.


You're free to jump in. Right now the rebels are all bumming around in an aircraft carrier in the middle of the ocean, so the easiest route of introduction is probably to just appear and pretend you were always there. Otherwise we're gearing up for another fight, so you can appear in the middle of that if you want your intro to be a bit more action-y, though that may take a bit of time.

Personality: Mikado is a true blue American patriot. Born in Arizona she was raised in a more rural community away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Both her parents were members of the military as were her grandparents and their parents before them. All these factors came together to instill a great sense of pride in her country. This pride often-times reveals itself in the form of arrogance when dealing with people of others nationalities. History: Mikado was born to a career military family in rural Arizona. For generations her family had fought for their country and she was no exception. At the age of 18 she was quick to enlist in the United States Air Force, aiming to be a pilot for the Thunderbolt II just as her great grandfather had piloted the same-named plane so long ago during the conflicts of the middle east. Much to her parents joy she succeeded and by the time she was 19 she was already being trained to pilot her mech of choice.


Unfortunately it was only two short years later that the world changed. The brewing conflict with the colonies saw the creation of the World League. Her once proud nation was gone, replaced by some homogeneous super-state. Despite the agreement she never stopped viewing the United States as the United States and made her disdain known to everyone whether they asked or not. Things just went from bad to worse when the Invaders arrived, throwing what semblance of nationality out the window as they brought Earth to ruins. She was on the frontlines, giving everything she had to defend her country but it was simply not enough.


While fortunate to survive she was left bitter and frustrated. Her frustration only grew as the World League became more and more oppressive, cracking down on all dissidents and she found herself pointing her guns at people more than the monsters the Invaders had left behind. After many years she finally had enough, viewing the World League as being nothing more than an invading force of her homeland. As such she defected and using her Thunderbolt she fought her way into the yellow-zone east of the California blue-zone. It was there that she met up with like-minded individuals and soon enough she was a member of the rebellion fighting against the World League.

: Mikado has a pendant with a picture of her parents on one side and the American flag on the other. She is immensely protective of the pendant and views it as a good-luck charm on her fight to regain her country.

Mecha history: The A-10 Thunderbolt II was a limited production model built for the United States Air Force prior to the incident of 2077. It saw extensive action in the one-day war and the events that followed. It's design proved quite valuable to the World League in their fight against the Kaiju but was ultimately phased out in favor of more modern models.


This particular model was piloted by Mikado during the events of the war and the on-going struggle with the Kaiju. As the World League descended more and more into oppression and control Mikado chose to defect, feeling the World League did not embody the principles she had signed up in order to defend. Upon her defection she took her Thunderbolt with her, fleeing into the yellow zone.

The Avenger is a 36mm rotary cannon mounted on gimbal mounts attached to the Thunderbolt's shoulders. This affords them a wide range of movement and even allows them to fire on targets behind the mech. The Avengers are belt-fed ammunition stored in the large drums in the Thunderbolt's shoulders and have a rate of fire of over 4,000 rounds per minute.

The WS-16C is a 36mm chaingun with a secondary fire mode that fires 120mm rounds. The weapon is relatively small and can easily be dual-wielded by the Thunderbolt for additional firepower. Given the large caliber of the 120mm rounds each magazine only holds 12 rounds requiring the pilot to be very careful in how they use them.

With a range of over 20km it was designed to give the Thunderbolt the ability to provide artillery support for friendly units. The Mk.57 also features a modular barrel set-up which enables it to field smaller caliber rounds such as the 120mm attachment or the 57mm. Utilizing it's smaller caliber attachments the Mk.57 has a rate of fire of 120 rounds per minute. This is drastically reduced when using the 120mm and especially the 220mm rounds.

Javelin CIDS Mk. 1:

The Javelin defense system consists of armor plates mounted on the Thunderbolt that contain spikes that can be shot out at high speeds. The spikes can be reeled in once used enabling the system to use the weapon continuously. The spikes are designed to deal with small-scale Kaiju that attempt to climb onto the Thunderbolt. Their limited range and piercing power make them ineffective against other mechs.





Jump Unit:

The Thunderbolt II comes equipped with a Jump Unit attached to it's waist. The two boosters are capable of moving independently of one another which afford the Thunderbolt a high degree of maneuverability. Given the Thunderbolt II's immense weight the jump units struggle to perform some of the more extravagant maneuvers pilots might want. As such they are almost exclusively used for sustained flight to and from the combat zone and small jumps to re-position.

Looks good (Though I feel like I'm missing some references somewhere with the machine. Muv Luv's one of the few mecha series I haven't touched yet.)


But yeah, she looks great. You're free to join in whenever.


Rebels are on a boat, if you want to go in now you can just pretend you were always there. Otherwise you can wait a bit and join in when the fighting starts, though that might take a few. Either one is good.

Only reference would be the mech itself, I'll read up on the latest posts n see about jumping in on the ship.

Status- alive, at shatterdome ruins aboard the yet to be named League super carrier.


A league gentlemen of unknown affiliation, he dresses in a slightly variated League uniform that is mostly a simple recolour.


An extremely abrasive man, he dominates conversation and demands utter obedience.


However he succumbs to pressure easily and seems to be a non-combatant.


He is a petty coward, preferring to subvert and extort then to physically confront another person, though isn't above using tools such as shock collars to manipulate others.


Surprisingly good at motivational speeches that invite fury or hatred, for some reason changes his accent whenever he starts a conversation or speech.

He is still at the shatterdome that fell under recent rebel attack, it was here he attempted to manipulate the criminal Roux Le Corps but was foiled by the Athenian Jackson 'cutter' November.


His current goals are unknown but it is likely that he will continue to try and recover Roux and the experimental device implanted upon him, and coercing Jackson into joining him in pursuit of the rebels.


He currently has assumed command of the Remaining league forces aboard the super carrier.

Personality: A quiet yet intimidating specimen, Sergei Romanov is a man of few words, preferring his actions to do most of the talking. He's all work and no play, with a presence that chills lesser men to the bone.


Affiliation: World League Black Ops


History: Was born and raised in Novosibirsk, Russia along with his younger sister Marcia. His mother died while his sister was still fairly young, and his father disappeared one dark night, leaving Sergei to take care of his younger sister by himself. He would eventually train himself to become a police officer and at some point earned a high enough rank that he received training in mecha piloting, only learning to pilot weaker mechas that were focused more on law enforcement than anything else. After the Anti-League Rebellion made themselves known to the world, Sergei trained himself more than ever in order to finally join with the World League military where he would eventually become a prestigious captain, known for dismantling a notorious Anti-League faction who's goal was to sabotage most, if not all of the World League's European mechas. He was further promoted to the World League's Black Ops unit and now performs covert operations that the World League would prefer the public not know about.


Extra: Always wears a mask made of an unidentified metal, that covers his entire face save for his upper-left half.

Mecha History: A mecha that is considered illegal among the World League's long list of authorized mechas. It is illegal due to it's experimental parts and weapons as well as it's unique capabilities. It is the only one of it's kind and it was given to Sergei by an "anonymous benefactor", most likely someone very high up in the World League's inner workings.


Approximate Height: 19.7 Meters


Weapons:

  • Eagle Gun: A long range gun that fires bullets that are shaped like eagles. It has a fairly slow rate of fire but the bullets are able to home in on his opponents. The bullets are also capable of delaying themselves before being shot, which is useful for faking out opponents.
  • Flank Bombs: Two missile launchers that are on either side of Ruhiel. Each launcher can fire up to three missiles that will veer in the opposite direction that they are launched (right missiles veer left, left missiles veer right). They can hit targets from long ranges and are best suited for enemies hiding behind cover.
  • Beast Pods: Stationary bombs that home in on approaching targets. Their hard metal shells make it nearly impossible to destroy them through physical means, and they only home in when an enemy is in close proximity. Only six may be deployed at a time.
  • Wide Jump Legs: Allows Ruhiel to jump up to 20 meters in the air. They can also be used to dash quickly 10 meters in any direction.


Powers: Ruhiel can transform into a makeshift jet, at the cost of some of it's power. While in this form, Ruhiel makes use of a high-caliber, armor-piercing sniper rifle. While in this form, it can still use it's Beast Pods by dropping them from above his opponents as well as it's Flank Bombs. Also, while in it's normal form Ruhiel can create a pressurized fluid jet from an "eye" on the left side of it's head. This jet is strong enough to cleanly cut through metal.
