Note: regardless of what abilities you may have, every Regular and Irregular has Shinsoo resistance. In this RP normal Regulars have either basic or good Shinsoo resistance, while very powerful Regulars and Rankers have high resistance, ''low level'' High Rankers have very high Shinsoo resistance and the top of the High rankers have incredible/extremely high Shinsoo resistance.Very powerful Regulars which are at a level where they can defeat Rankers (High Rankers not included) can have unnaturally high Shinsoo resistance. High Rankers which are in a league of their own regardless of their Rank can have outstanding, or monstruous Shinsoo resistance. Delete this note when you complete your character sheet, but keep in mind.

Name: Keylow Spectrum

Age: 600 ( mental age of a 40-year-old adult)

Gender: male

Sexual Orientation: heterosexual

Q: Regular or Irregular? ->A: Regular

Species: human

Appearance:
4784fe4eaeb6afc52c63dc50521dadde.jpg

Personality:
  • Rather calm, collected and analytical. He has a dark sense of humour. He never judges a book by its cover and tries his best to help the Regulars on their journey. He becomes highly intimidating and merciless when angered. Keylow also does not stand cheap tricks.
Position: Wave Controller, Fisherman
*Ranker : 1700th rank, (location: 2nd Floor)

Affiliation: Neutral

Abilities and skills:
#Outstanding physical capabilities- because of his vigorous training he is physically stronger, faster, more durable, and has better reflexes than many people in the Tower.
#Close quarter combat expert- Keylow is an expert in hand-to-hand combat as well as highly proefficient with any close quarter weapon the Tower has to offer.
#Shinsoo Manipulation (expert)- Keylow is highly adept at using Shinsoo. He can control strong barriers, up to 15 Baangs (releases/rooms) of Shinsoo (each of his blasts has high destructive power), use it to enhance his physical capabilities to great heights and of course use the Flow Control & Reverse-Flow Control in a very effcient way. Other than that he is unique in the fact that he can use Shinsoo for jet propulsion, partially absorb the Shinsoo attacks from opponents to reduce damage and shoot Shinsoo from his eyes like laser beams.

->[High Shinsoo resitance]<-

Weapons:
Storm_katana.jpg

^Ignition Weapon: Ergo Katana (B-rank weapon-> becomes A-rank when ignited)- generates powerful outbursts of Shinsoo when ignited, while also gaining more durability and becoming sharper.

History: Keylow was born in the Outer Tower and has always lived a dull and pointless life until he met Headon. The Guardian offered him a once in a lifetime chance, which Keylow took without a second thought and so he entered the Inner Tower and began his new journey. He worked hard to improve his skills and it took him about 400 years to climb up to the 134th Floor and become a Ranker. He was assigned to help Yu Han Sung on the 2nd Floor.

Name: Helios Prime

Age: 420 ( mental age of a young 30-yer-old adult)

Gender: male

Sexual Orientation: heterosexual

Q: Regular or Irregular? ->A: Irregular

Species: human from the Outside of the Tower

Appearance:
badasswizardsslide11_Slide.jpg

Personality:

  • Appears as a nice and benevolent individual, but that is just a mask. He is actually a merciless, sadistic and cold-hearted man...Or is he? In reality it is hard to grasp his essence, because it is rather hard to tell. He sometimes appears to have a soft spot for women and children, although it is unknown if that is also just an act to deceive people for whatever reason he would have. Benevolent or cold-hearted, no one knows which is his true nature. Maybe the answer is not that simple.
Position: Wave Controller, Flame User, Lightning User
*High Ranker: 24th Rank, Sobriquet: Prince of Havoc, Ruler of the 29th Floor

Affiliation: FUG (Slayer)

Abilities and skills:
#Extreme agility- his level of agility (in other words the combination of his balance, coordination, speed, reflexes, strength, and endurance) is gigantic and way higher than that of almost everyone in the Tower. He can defeat most people even without having to use Shinsoo because of this.
#Hand-to-hand combat master- Helios is a master fighter, being extremely proefficient in a high number of fighting systems and martial arts, most of which he learned from the Outside of the Tower. His style is rather hectic and unpredictable, because he combines many different styles and attack paterns each time he fights.
#Shinsoo Manipulation (master)- Helios is a beast in manipulating Shinsoo, like most Irregulars. He keeps his true level of mastery hidden, though. He can use both the Flow Control & Reverse-Flow Control in an extremely efficient way. He can strengthen his body, enhance his speed and create very strong barriers with the use of Shinsoo, but that is just childs's play for him. He made many people (Ranking Comission included) belive he can control up to 100 baangs of Shinsoo, when in reality he can control up to 1000 of them. While those are way fewer than what Enryu can achieve, Helios is still a monster in his own right and has developed a special technique in which he freely controls the movement of up to 20 of the baangs he can create (his Shinsoo Blats are very big in size and have incredible destructive power). It is very difficult or even almost impossible to change the flow of Shinsoo once it is released, but Irregulars have always made the impossible become possible. His Shinsoo control doesn't resume just to that, though. He is widely known for being able to give both lightining and flame properties to Shinsoo at the same time, although he cannot combine them, he usually generates lightning from his right hand and flames from his left hand. He has a wide variety of techniques, but he prefers to shape Shinsoo in the form of ''blades'' with various shapes...in other words he can make Shinsoo ''sharp'' by concentrating it. He gives it a blade-like effect and can cut with it. His Shinsoo attacks can cut even through the toughest materials. His most dangerous attacks consist of generating enormous Shinsoo lightning and/or flame ''blade-effect'' tornados.

->[incredible Shinsoo resistance]<-

#29th Floor Ruler- on the 29th Floor, Mr. Prime's Shinsoo resistance and control are increased to a certain degree.

Weapons: none

History: Helios was born somehere in the Outside of the Tower and entered the Tower through force a very long time ago. He easily passed Headon's test and climbed the Tower exremely fast because of his skills and quick understanding of the mechanics behind Shinsoo manipulation. It took him 110 years to climb it and become a High Ranker, but intentionally presented himself as being weaker than he actually was. Even though his rank (24th) is an increadible achivement, it is actually not the rank he deserved, nor does it reflect his true power. The reason for which he had chosen to hide his power was unknown, but most probably related to the fact that he joined FUG. Throughout his time in the Tower he came to feel disgusted with Zahard's methods and conservatorism, so he joined FUG and is currently one of the organization's Slayers, although that is unknown to everyone who is not related to FUG. With his High Ranker status and power he became the Ruler of the 29th Floor, the one which is just one level below the Workshop Headquarters. His tests are said to require little physical effort, but a lot of psychological effort.

Name: Tok Stonebreaker

Age: 245 (mental age: 21)

Gender: male

Sexual Orientation: heterosexual

Q: Regular or Irregular? ->A: Regular

Species: Reptilian Humanoid, type: Accel Turtle

Appearance:
d3cece1d04a9bcf23ba9b59cca4c696e.jpg

Personality:
  • Tok is quite serious and a bit stubborn. On the other hand he is a sincere guy, who doesn't sugarcoat his words, and a loyal friend. He would sacrifice himself for those he cares about, even though he doesn't express it through words and seems to act cold to most people, just because he is actually embarassed to act emotional or sensitive. He dislikes people with weak minds or souls. He is very courageous and has no fear of death, but he is not a hot-head who will start or enter a fight on impulse.
Position: Defender, Fisherman

Affiliation: Neutral

Abilities and skills:
#Accel Turtle physiology, special type- unlike the usual turtle humanoids , Accel Turtles have a small shell which can barely protect their bodies, but they have great speed and reflexes, unusual for a turtle. Tok is special for an Accel Turtle, in the sense that he has went through harsh training to achieve a stronger body and greater durability ( his strength and durability are many times above human levels) although this resulted in the decrease of his natural speed, because of the extra muscle. Therefore he trained even more to increase his reaction speed and to improve his reflexes. He also has small, but very sharp and powerful claws.
#Expert dagger and sword user- he is highly addept at using both weapons and has a style of his own.
#Experienced fighter- Tok knows when, where and how to hit, dodge and/or counter. He has fought for a long time and his fighting skills are outstanding, even without training in a particular martial art or fighting system.
#Shinsoo physical enhancing (basic)- Tok can use Shinsoo for enhancing his speed, strength or durability (only one at a time) by a maximum of four times for a short period. He needs to wait around 2 minutes before he uses the Shinsoo technique again. This isn't because of the technique itself, but because of Tok's rather low level of Shinsoo Manipulation. This ability will evolve over time.

->[Good Shinsoo resistance]<-

Weapons:
1409-daga-combate.JPG

^Ignition Weapons: Dual Quake Daggers- D-rank daggers. When ignited they become C-rank weapons and besides having their durability and sharpness increased, they cause bursts of Shinsoo that affect the whole structure of what they hit. Living organisms hit by these dagger when ignited will feel shaken up from the inside, while objects or other things may crack or shatter depending on their durability levels.

History: Tok was born an Accel Turtle, a species of turtle humanoids who have a small shell but are fast and acrobatic, from the Middle Tower. Other types of turtle humanoids where jealous of this and constantly made fun of the Accel Turtle's lack of strength or durability, just to make themselves feel better. Tok was different though. He trained vigurously in order to achieve great strength and durability, at the cost of losing half of his original speed. But to make up for that he trained some more to achieve greater reflexes and reaction speed. He came to be a great warrior who was respected by his own species and other reptilian humanoids, but still maintained a light hearted and cheerful attitude. Until his tribe and the surrounding area was attacked by an unknown group. A bunch of FUG members testing their new weapons and skills. He was the only survivor left. His skills impressed one of the FUG members.

''Come to the Tower, become stronger and search for me someday. I'll be waiting'' said the woman , before leaving.

The traumatic experience changed Tok and made him stoic, more serious and less forgiving. He trained extremely hard for many months and somehow managed to obtain the rather strong twin ignition weapons known as Dual Quake Daggers. He wanted revenge, he wanted justice, he wanted to destroy FUG, he wanted to enter the Inner Tower!

Odd and missing a few screws, Illiam is a hard man to get a grip on. At any point in time it can be nearly impossible to figure out what is happening in his head. He enjoys things on the sadistic side and will laugh at the misery and pain of others, in secret. He's no idiot and he is well aware about how others would react if you laughed at them when they were in pain, so for the most part he leaves that side of him to himself. He can become incredibly obsessive about owning things, often claiming things that do not belong to him and even calling other living beings his toys. If he feels like any of his toys are in danger of being stolen he will get violent, destructive, breaking the thief and maybe even the toy in the process.

Illiam is a thrill seeker that absolutely loves a good life or death scenario, seemingly fearless he hops into any death pit with no hesitation. He is an independent soul that does what he wants when he wants unless its in his better interest to follow orders. But this leads to him being emotionally closed off to the world. While Illiam has no hesitation calling others his friends, he will rarely let a another person know what's going on inside. Illiam is chaotic, he lacks empathy and is erratic. One second he could be the life of the party, then in the next moment he is killing everyone in that said party. Illiam likes to engage problems peacefully first, he tries to talk his way out of problems. But the instant that fails or seems like it will fail he will resort to more violent tactics.

Amu's curse: Within every Amu lies the ability to access extreme powers at varying costs. The activation requirement changes from Amu to Amu. Illiam's activation is through fear. While the curse is active Illiam's speed, reaction speed, power, endurance and pain resistance is increased. His blood lust spikes to new levels and his already bad judgment becomes even worse. He becomes closer to a beast then a man with a wish to only see more blood spill. Once the curse wears out Illiam becomes unable to use Shinsoo for combat purposes for a while and has only enough energy to walk.

Amu physiology: Amu's are tough beings to break. With skin and bones comparable to leather and metal respectively and endurance that makes taking down a mountain easier then an Amu. The average Amu can lift that four times there own weight, with Illiam being able to lift up to roughly a ton. Amu are naturally slow with a significantly slow reaction time. Broken bones and deep wounds take a much longer time to heal as well.

Unyielding tenacity: Being an Amu Illiam is physically durable. Being Illiam, he is also mentally durable. Illiam's ability to stand despite adversity that may knock him senseless is is outstanding. A one track mind ensures that Illiam will not rest until his goal is finished. Illiam is sure to get up from any blow and even continue standing long after he draws his last breath.

History

Back in his village Illiam was a notorious lad. A bad accident when he was a child left him a little less then right in the head. He wasn't a criminal by any means but he wasn't trusted or liked. Others in the village didn't like him due to his sadistic and violent nature. At least half the people in the village got into physical fight with him as some point, even his parents The only reason he wasn't on the streets was because his parents believed that some way they could bring back the nice boy he used to be. The only person that still liked him as he was, was his sister.

"She was the best toy out of all of them. I could be a rough as I wanted and she would never break. Playing with her was always fun."

In time even his parents tolerance for him dwindled and finally vanished. He was banished from his village. It was at this time that Illiam realized that while he saw the world as a game and its population as pieces, they did not see the same. So Illiam, banished walked the world alone and learned how live within his own thoughts... and so he did. He traveled and lived like a nomad, while his destructive ways have diminished they are not yet gone. In order to cure that he began to live with a death wish. Nearly every day was filled with some kind of life threatening adventure, this is what helped him. Illiam got better, no longer did he need to fight every person he came across. But humans can never truly change. Illiam at age 298 had caught wind of a tower, those who could climb it to the top could obtain anything. Wealth, power, revenge. This didn't interest Illiam at first untill he learned how life threatening it was. Now 300 Illiam has found the gate.

The Purple Eyed Cat Sidhe--Selicity Fars
Name: Selicity (Sel) Fars

Age: 301 - Mental age 14-16

Gender: Female

Sexual Orientation: Dunno…probably straight, but she’s never really liked anyone before so she doesn’t know.

Regular or irregular: Regular.

Species: Cat Sidhe…a species that have lived in the Outer Tower long before Zahard appeared and took over. They are a peaceful kind that dislike fighting and have never participated in climbing the tower…until Sel came along. They live in a secret village that very few know about. The cait sidhe are known for their ability to shift between human and cat form. They have excellent senses and eyes that shift color depending on their mood. Red=anger, blue=calm, green=happy, black=sad, yellow=desire/excitement, violet=berserker(Sel is the first Cat Sidhe to have this). Cat Sidhe do not have a natural eye color so their eyes always reflect their emotions. This may make them very easy to read.

Appearance:

(Human Form)

th

(Cat Form - it wears an eyepatch)

Pierre-cartoon-2.jpg

Personality: Competitive, playful, and somewhat lazy, Sel doesn’t actually care about becoming ranker. Her purpose for climbing the tower is to find the person who stole her right eye and retrieve it. Sel had always been a bit different from others of her kind. She enjoys a good battle, whereas her kind prefers not to fight, and can get pretty vicious when angered. She also gets easily excited and is not afraid to tell people how she feels. She is known in her village for her temper and her tendency to go berserk—she is the first of her kind to display violet eyes. Despite this, she can be pretty crafty when she puts her mind to it.

Position: Scout…though she can take the role of fisherman when needed.

Affiliation: Neutral

Abilities and skills:
  • Agile, fast, and strong(check out her weapon and armor)…she’s a cat, so she’ll usually land on her feet.
  • She’s got better senses than a normal human.
  • She can turn into a cat.
  • She can speak to all felines.
  • Her eyes shift colors depending on her mood. When in her berserker mode, her stats enhance and she loses all reason.
  • She's an expert at wielding her scythe...er hook.
  • Her shinsoo resistance is pretty high naturally(as good as someone can get considering she just entered the tower I suppose) and is further enhanced by her armors.
  • Her ability to manipulate shinsoo is basic...though it might(will probably) improve throughout the rp. She mainly utilizes the shinsoo that Athlene "stores" rather than creates her own baangs. Sel uses the stored shinsoo to enhance her physical capabilities or...if she needs a long ranged blast...send it back towards her opponent in an arc of pure shinsoo energy. Her weapon, while charged with shinsoo can get pretty deadly. Currently she can make at most 2 baangs.
Weapons:
  • Her armored gauntlets and boots are resistant to shinsoo and allow her to move despite areas of really dense shinsoo.
  • Her giant hook, Athlene, can absorb/ “eat” any shinsoo it comes in contact with and store it for later use.
History: Sel had always been a different from all other cat sidhe. She was a violent child and, whenever her eyes glowed violet, she would go on a rampage. No one in the village knew how to deal with her and as a result she grew up pretty isolated. Her life changed, however, when she met a High Ranker who—for some reason—decided to visit her village. During his visit he heard about Sel and insulted her lack of control. As a result, Sel’s eyes became violet and she attacked the High Ranker. However, he was much superior to her and, after defeating her, took her right eye. The last words she remembered him saying were:

“If you want this back, gain some emotional control first. I’ll be waiting for you at the top of the Tower.”

Thus Sel spent years training to be chosen…with the goal of retrieving her right eye. Her fellow villagers felt pity for Sel and helped her in any way they could. They crafted her armor that would make moving in shinsoo much easier. The village chief gave her Athlene, which was the weapon that was said to been used by the first Cat Sidhe. Her aim is to climb her way to the top of the tower in order to retrieve her right eye.

Name: Nyra Carciphi

Age: 225

Mental Age: 15

Gender: Female

Sexual Orientation: Heterosexual

Q: Regular or Irregular? ->A: Regular

Species: Deep Sea Wraith

Appearance: Nyra is usual covered from head to foot in cloth bandaging that's been soaked in oil. This is because her shin is extremely sensitive to drying out, so she has to protect it from heat and light. Beneath the wrappings her skin is black and smooth, almost like a frog's, and her entire body is extremely thin and bony. Her fingers, usually padded with extra cloth, are actually thin and needle-like, and her moth is filled with many small but extremely sharp teeth. She has triangular ears, cat-like in shape, that are usually pressed flat against her head but can actually move in every direction separately.

Personality: Nyra is shy and pretty quiet, but oftentimes her curiosity gets the better of her and she can't help herself from asking nonstop questions about things. She wants to know about everything new she sees. She gets especially excited when there's Shinheuh involved. She absolutely loves Shinheuh, no matter the shape or size or how dangerous in may appear. She's accustomed to survival of the fittest and understands that fighting is necessary to climb the tower, but that doesn't mean she likes it, and she'll try to stop unnecessary fighting between friends.

Position: Anima
tumblr_miuibsaDa21r9ublwo1_1280.jpg

Affiliation: Neutral

Abilities and skills:

Deep Sea Wraith Physiology: Sea Wraiths are amphibious, and while they can live on land perfectly fine, they need to keep their skin wet at all times, and as such they must avoid exposure to heat and harsh light. Nyra deals with this by covering her skin in oil-soaked bandages, however she has to be even more careful to avoid fire since she isn't exactly sure how flammable the oil she's using is. Sea Wraith's are incredibly weak physically; their skin is thin and easily cut, and their flexible bones can be snapped like twigs from even minor hits. They are perfectly suited for the dark and being underwater though. Sea Wraiths have excellent night vision, and even better hearing when there's not even a minuscule amount of light to see by. When in the water tiny sensors all over the Sea Wraith's body can feel subtle changes in water pressure and tiny movements rippling through the water. It also goes without saying that they are excellent swimmers, capable of moving through the water faster and with more agility that most other races can even think to replicate. Sea Wraiths are also carnivores, usually eating raw fish. (Nyra may or may not develop a Sushi addiction later on.)

Shinsoo Resistance: Nyra's resistance to high-concentrations of Shinsoo is quite high for a fresh regular. Ironically, since she was born in a place with incredibly-high water pressure and the feeling of Shinsoo pressure is very similar, she's actually more at home when there's more Shinsoo pressure. She just isn't used to there being little or no pressure surrounding her, so she seems very clumsy and losses her balance often when there's not a lot of Shinsoo pressure.

Anima: Nyra has an unusual ability to speak to and control the many types of Shinheuh that inhabit the tower. Even when she doesn't talk to them, Shinheuh still seem drawn to her.

Weapons: Nyra is pretty terrible with most types of weapons, so it's not too big of a surprise that her Arms Inventory doesn't have any real weapons. Instead it holds a number of glass orbs, bowls to hold compressed Shinheuh. Currently only one of the bowls is occupied at the moment: it contains two young Pit Eels, one Black one Gold.

History: Nyra grew up in a great underwater city suspended above a deep pit. Countless Shinheuh swam just outside the city's edge, and even more, larger, types lived below in the pit itself. Nyra was constantly slipping out of the city to play with the Shinheuh, even diving down into the darkness of the pit to see what kind of creatures lived down there that didn't like coming up where she could see them from the city. She wasn't alone in her adventures though, she had her older brother Arsean right there with her. Truth be told he was the instigator of pretty much everything, Nyra just tagged along. He's the one who ignited her spark of curiosity without which she probably wouldn't have ever left the city she was born in.

During one of their adventures down in the pit they stumbled upon the den of two huge Pit Eels. Anyone else would have been terrified or ran away from the gigantic beasts, but Arsean and Nyra were loved by the Shinheuh, and these creatures were no exception. The siblings made a habit of visiting the eels, and eventually the two Pit Eels became comfortable enough with the siblings that they ascended from the depths to show themselves to the other people within the underwater city. That was a mistake. A group of Rankers in the area heard of the creatures and decided to test himself against them, after all it isn't every day a new type of massive beast shows up. The Pit Eels were large yes, and under normal circumstances incredibly dangerous, but the Rankers had numbers and were prepared. Both of the eels died without putting up much of a fight.

Nyra was devastated that the eels had been killed, and while she was still busy crying over what had happened Headon was appearing before her brother down in the pit where he was watching over the eels' offspring. He left to climb the tower, at least according to the message he wrote on the wall of the pit. Nyra kept adventuring outside the city alone, but now it was to take care of the two eggs that hadn't yet hatched when the parent ells had died. It took a long time, so long she thought they had both died a long time ago and she was taking care of them in vain, but the eggs did eventually hatch, and after they did Headon appeared before her and asked her the same question he'd asked her brother. Did she wish to climb the tower?

Name: Arsean Carciphi

Age: 411

Mental Age: 29

Gender: Male

Sexual Orientation: Heterosexual

Q: Regular or Irregular? ->A: Regular

Species: Deep Sea Wraith

Appearance: Arsean's body is hidden beneath armor made of some kind of white metal, usually with normal clothing over it to blend in better. presumably he looks much like his sister without the armor, though taller and with slightly more bulk.

Personality: Arsean is overflowing with confidence and has the ego to match it (though which stems from which is anyone's guess). He constantly challenges anyone who he thinks might be able to put up a fight, and he pushes those who might one day be worth fighting to succeed and grow into opponents worth fighting. He can also act like the boy Nyra remembers on occasion, tossing aside his air or power and pretension and just having fun and laughing from his heart.

Position: Fisherman, Defender, Wave Controller, Anima

High-Ranker: Rank 195

Sobriquet: Black Pit Eel

Affiliation: Wolhaiksong / Neutral

Abilities and skills:

Deep Sea Wraith Physiology: Arsean is the same race as his sister. Instead of bandages and oil to keep his skin from drying out he had a specialized suit of armor made that keeps his body wet and safe from injury.

Shinsoo Resistance: As a High-Ranker, Arsean's Shinsoo resistance is above average to put it lightly. He spends most of his time in an isolated part of the tower where the Shinsoo density is extremely high and has no trouble moving around.

Anima: Arsean's power to completely dominate the many types of Shinheuh within the tower with just his will alone is terrifying. He's gone so far as to attempt to subjugate even the floor Guardians themselves.

Weapons: Not naturally skilled with the ability to control Shinsoo, Arsean uses wands to amplify his ability to control the Shinsoo around him. They are usually stored inside the arms of his armor. He also has a special contract with the Guardian of the 84th floor that lets him control vast amounts of Shinsoo on that floor. His armor also hides two long needles on the inside of each arm. Infinitely more dangerous than Arsean's own weapons or Shinsoo control are the many Shinheuh he controls. He is spoken about having a veritable army of Shinheuh that he keeps with him on the 84th floor, but there's one in particular that sits magnitudes above the others, and it's this one that is Arsean's oldest and most loyal Shinheuh and the one which earned him his Sobriquet. Leviathan, a Black Pit Eel that was with Arsean when he first started climbing the tower and grew to unimaginable size during the time since. When not compressed, many regulars mistake it for a floor Guardian due to its incredible scale.

disparity_by_beastofoblivion-d512c06.jpg

Leviathan, Arsean's pit eel, next to Yazir'el, Nyra's golden pit eel for scale.

History: When the Rankers killed the two parent Pit Eels, Arsean was furious. His anger only grew as he comforted the young child Pit Eel. He wanted to do something, but there was nothing he could do, he was powerless. That was when Headon appeared. He'd been watching the siblings because of their unusual power over the Shinheuh and was delighted by the events that had ignited such a passion for action in this one. Arsean said yes to climbing the tower of course. His goal: getting stronger and finding the Rankers that had killed the two Pit Eels.

It was difficult, but with each floor he ascended the young eel he'd brought with him grew larger. When it grew too large he was forced to compress it back to a manageable size else it started to dwarf the testing areas whenever it was outside of its bowl. The higher the floors went, the easier time Arsean had using the Shinheuh around him and Leviathan, the name he'd given the ever-growing eel, to clear the way for his climb. In the end he made it to becoming a Ranker easier than he'd expected, and not even that but being marked as a High-Ranker. He had no connections and no influence before that, but his ability and power over the tower's creatures alone meant he was strong enough to be a High-Ranker.

He let the acknowledgment of his power get to him, and he started challenging those stronger than him to see if his rank assignment was really how strong he was. He tracked down the Rankers that had set off his climbing the tower first, both thanking them and destroying them completely. After that he just kept wandering the tower for a while, collecting new types of Shinheuh and fighting other Rankers for fun. He started taking things too far when he tried testing his control over the creatures of the tower on the floor Guardians themselves. Needless to say, they had none of that and one even tried to kill him in retaliation. He fought back well enough that the floor Guardian let him walk away. One had a very different reaction to the young man's hubris, and it's on that floor that Arsean has made his home.

Name: "Xeheel-Ah-Rembar. You can feel free to shorten that to something less wordy."

Age: 142

Mental Age: 14

Gender: "Despite how I look, I am a male."

Sexual Orientation: Heterosexual

Q: Regular or Irregular? ->A: Regular

Species: Ember

Personality: Xeheel is, honestly, a bit too serious for his own good. Since his induction into the Tower, and hell, even before it he's been the kind of person who just can't get a joke. Usually either taking it (much) more seriously than ever intended, or misconstruing the jest until it's meaning is changed completely. Because, he really does just overthink things. You know the type. The kind of kid who thinks there's a deeper meaning being what any and everyone says, just because they didn't hang out with enough of their fellow punk-kids when they were younger.

Despite that, though, he's definitely one of the most caring people you could hope to meet in the Tower. He's instilled with a sense of justice set to rival a superhero, and will attach the title of friend to someone at the slightest provocation, even to the point where it's a little stupid for him to do so. Furthermore, Xeheel is essentially unable to keep his mouth shut. He'll say whatever it is the comes to mind, without filter, either being unable, or simply unwilling to put a cork in his mouth, shut up, and just smile and laugh his way through an unlikable situation. Oh, and his manners also suck. Go figure.

Position: Scout

Rank:N/A

Sobriquet:N/A

Affiliation: Zahard Empire

Abilities and Skills:

  • Snapshot - Due to his lack of outstanding talent in any of the fields of either Shinsoo, or traditional melee combat, Xeheel has fallen back on more grounded levels of combat. The gun. His model, a traditional weapon used by his people during their more primitive days, allows him to take what little Shinsoo he is able to manipulate and focus it into a compressed needle, which he is able to fire with remarkable precision. It is admittedly though, a crutch, and one that he's determined to abandon his need for in the coming years.
  • Shinsoo Resistance : Average
  • Ember Physiology - As a race, Embers vary greatly from person to person. At birth, each Ember is born with a different concentration of something they traditionally call "Lifefire". This "Lifefire", shows a direct correlation to their inherent ability to manipulate Shinsoo. The greater the concentrations of this, the more their racial features become apparent. Their ashen white skin and hair, pale as the bones of the Reaper himself.. Xeheel however, isn't among those blessed by power at birth. His skin is hardly discernible from that of someone who just needs to see more sunlight, and his hair being the exactly opposite of the white hair his race is so well known for. The only 'advantage' he's gained from his heritage, are his amber-yellow eyes, being an easy identifier for his race, should he ever encounter any of his more benevolent kin within the Tower's walls.

History: Xeheel's own history isn't really much to speak of. At least, compared to that of his sister's. The second child of the parents who birthed Zeharr-Ah-Rembarr, the Ashen Sun, great things were expected of Xeheel even since his conception. So, you can imagine his parent's dismay when he emerged from the womb with neither skin of ash, or hair of snow, but merely the appearance of an average, human baby. Immediately, they set out to hide what they perceived as their failure. They set out to educate him solely within the walls of their home, not allowing the young boy to step outside, for fear of recognition of their shame. And even when he did, they would dress him as a girl, so to disguise the child everyone knew to be a son.

Within those walls, they did everything they could to 'redeem' him. They taught him everything they could, from their own skills with Shinsoo, to the traditional arts of their people. But, unlike his prodigy of a sister, he was only every able to pick up the most scant and basic of techniques. Xeheel though, would persevere. Determined to waylay to pity, and despair of his parents, he set about with studies of his own, delving through the libraries of his people whenever he'd find himself able (which, admittedly, was not often), so to find a way to circumvent his lack of talent. And, eventually, he'd find it. A relic of his people, one that would allow even someone such as him to strive throughout the Tower. In his own time, he worked towards honing it, building his skill with the obsolete weapon he'd obtained. And... Someone recognized it. A certain rabbit eared Guardian. One who, to his parent's outstanding surprise, would extend an invitation. An invitation, that he, determined to spurr forth his parent's pride once more, would take without hesitation.

Q: Regular or Irregular? ->A: Regular

Species: Stigaan - Native to the Outer 42nd floor, the Stigaan are often looked upon as guardian's of nature. They reside in the outer edges of forests, building expansive cities within the canopy, serving as a connection between the inner forest, and the outside world. Taking advantage of this connection, the Stigaan often serve as guides to those wishing to venture into the depths of the woods. This, alongside the longstanding peace their civilization has experienced, has earned them the reputation of one of the more trustworthy peoples within the Outer Tower, seemingly content to stay within their cites, and not venture into the Inner Tower to seek after some grand wish or plan.

Personality: A friendly guy. That is the impression most have of the Stigaan, Oisin Ha'raa. Having an outwardly relaxed attitude, this, boasted by his people's trustworthy reputation, he gives off an openly approachable atmosphere. Furthermore, he compliments this with a quick wit, being quick to make a joke, and almost always having something to say about the situation. Indeed, these two things in unison often make him out as one to break the tension so to speak, interjecting into the most dangerous of moments with little more than a casual smile, and a joking remark. A friendly guy. An impression that wouldn't be entirely untrue, but definitely unfinished.

An instigator. That is the impression most should have of the Stigaan, Oisin Ha'raa. Beneath, and perhaps the source of his carefree attitude, lays a nature that wishes for nothing more than to break the dull idleness of everyday life. Doing little more in life than following his whims, his greatest purpose and goal seems to be that to stave off the ever looming threat of stagnation. From this stems and underlying attitude for many of his actions. Often doing something 'just to see if he could', indeed, rather than owing his reasons for climbing the Tower to a grand wish or thirst for knowledge, he merely scales it to see if he can pull it off. He cares little about the conflicts and events within the Tower, only ever paying them any heed on a whim, if anything.

Position: Light Bearer, Anima

Affiliation: Neutral

Abilities and Skills:

  • Stigaan Physiology - The Stigaan are naturally more in tune with nature than most. Because of this, among other things, they hold the capability to communicate with both the creatures of the Tower, and regular animals alike. Though, this befits them little on the lower levels of the Tower, with which are mostly filled with creatures more interested in their next meal than striking up a chat. This does however, nicely complement one's capabilities as an Anima, should they both possess the potential in the first place, and manage to scale to a high enough floor for it to be of use.
  • Shinsoo Resistance : Average - Oisin's level of Shinsoo Resistance is decidedly normal, he is neither strong nor weak in this front.
  • Grand Planner - Despite being rather young, at least in comparision to the other denizins of the Tower, Oisin shows a high level of intellect. Focusing on the bigger picture in his actions, he aims to play the long game, rather than going for the immediate victory. In a word, one could call Oisin a 'King'. Unlike the 'Strategist' or 'Tactician' he does not focus himself on brilliant battle plans or strategies, but rather the goal that those strategies are formed to work towards. To put it simply, where the 'Tactician' wins the battle, the 'King' takes advantage of it, and where the 'Strategist' wins the war, the 'King' begins it.
  • Silver Tongue - Oisin is a fellow who can easily be described as having a way with words. He shows an aptitude to talk himself out of most of his troubles, and worm his way towards success without having to lift a finger.
  • Tree Runner - Having grown up in the wooded cities of the Stigaan, Oisin is adept at climbing and moving throughout the canopy. This skill comes in handy in a multitude of ways, being easily adapted to navigate urban and rocky environments.

History: Within a society, any society, should peace arrive, they should flourish, they should spread and raise merriment, they should join hands together and work towards the future. That being said, within peace, any peace, should it reign for too long, restlessness is sure to arise. Even within the peace loving Stigaan this is true. Born into a world where nothing ever seemed to happen, Oisin quickly came to lust after more. While he was young, even while he frolicked and played with his fellow children he couldn't help but feel something. Something at first only subtle, but that something would grow to consume the everyday life that he led. Stagnation. Sure enough, by the time he had come of a reasonable age, he couldn't help but feel an extreme discontent with the stillness of life that went on around him.

Nothing ever changed. Nothing ever evolved. Life was at a standstill. He spent his days repeating the same things, over and over. Wake Up, Eat, Learn, Socialize, Eat, Sleep, Repeat. And no matter where he looked, he couldn't find a single thing to break that unending repetition. Spurning this on would be an overwhelming talent for pushing events in his favor, driving him to, if he could not find one, make a way to break out of his loop of an existence. And thus, things would begin. At first, he would only partake in minor mischief, spreading rumors in an attempt to rose those around him into taking some form of action, and, even though this would eventually bear some fruition, it would not be enough.

The ever so minor variations they arose in his life would too flow into discontent soon enough. Surely, he could do better, he thought. Surely this wasn't all there was to life, he thought. Surely... He could change this place, he thought. And what would be wrong with that? Change spurns motion, evolution, advancement! He'd be doing his people a service! His goal was a simple one, bring something, anything, great to his people, whether it be a festival... or a conflict, didn't even cross his mind. He began to take every action he could to spur things on. And, within a society in which trust was so easily given, it was nearly child's play to orchestrate an event of great proportions.

And, eventually, after much planning and preparation... The city in which her grew, was set alight. Spreading blackmail and discontent throughout the populace, Oisin instigated a riot, ending in the incineration of some of the older sects of the city. He of course, didn't care about the ramifications of his actions in the slightest. And why would he? They'd rebuild, they'd improve, they'd raise that old decrepit place up to a higher state than it had ever been before. So he'd simply sit back, and allow them to do as they wished, going unnoticed and unblamed. Or, so he thought.

There would be one being to take notice of his actions. One being that could shift his life more than any other. On a night, not too long after his grand event, he would be confronted by that being. Whether it was impressed, amused, or something else entirely by his actions was beyond Oisin. No, the moment that dreadfully sly being presented it's offer, he didn't even care to figure it out. That offer to enter the Tower of God. That offer to enter a place forever changing. That offer he could not refuse. And so, barely even thinking about it, he took his hand, and entered the Tower.

Name: Zeharr-Ah-Rembar

Age: 617

Mental Age: 26

Gender: Female

Sexual Orientation: Heterosexual

Q: Regular or Irregular? ->A: Regular

Species: Ember

Personality: Among the Rankers of the Tower, Zeharr is infamous. As a regular not a bit different than themselves, she blazed her way through the Tower, climbing it in only three hundred and fifty years and swiftly securing a place amongst the upper echelons of the Tower's Rankers. Her rapid progress having even spurred on rumors that her unnatural strength owes to her being an Irregular. She's known amongst her peers for possessing a wrath as blazing hot as her Sobriquet would suggest, and having a disregard for human life to match.

Zeharr herself, isn't exactly sure how she earned herself that sort of reputation. Because, in truth, she's kind of just a big old softie. Despite her prodigious strength, her personality is as kind as imagination can muster. The vengeful wrath she's famous for, is instead filled by an outstanding friendliness and compassion, the sort that would even nurse the worst of her enemies back to health, or provide a total stranger with a roof over their heads. And, while she's certainly taken her fair share of lives, to say she holds a disregard for them would be a lie wild enough to set off a fire of anger even within someone as nonchalant as herself.

She often sees herself as a sort of big sister figure for, what Zeharr refers to as, her juniors. She enjoys doling out advice to any Regulars she should happen to encounter, and has even been know, (Or, well, not actually known, due to the odd besmirchment her reputation seems to have garnered) to go out of her way to assist them, should she presume her actions would go unnoticed by the powers that be.

Position: Fisherman, Wave Controller, Hwayeomsa

Rank: 582

Sobriquet: Ashen Sun

Affiliation: Zahard Empire, Former FUG, Tied to the Workshop

Abilities and Skills:

  • Ember Physiology - Among the strongest of her race to be born in their entire history, Zeharr's Lifefire burns with a strength only rivaled by the greatest heroes and heroines of her people. Not only is her capability to manipulate Shinsoo heightened to terrifying levels, but so is her ability to resist it. Her ashen skin not only resists the flow of Shinsoo in it's natural state, but in it's elementalized forms too, the flames of the Hwayeomsa doing naught but wash over her already white-scorched skin, and the bolts of the Jeonsulsa crackling helplessly it. Inversely, her body is especially susceptible to physical attacks, (at least, for a Ranker), being as fragile as the ash it takes it's color after.
  • Shinsoo Resistance - Monstrous: Owing to her especially strong Lifefire, Zeharr's ability to resist Shinsoo is off the charts, being enough to give even an Irregular a run for their money.
  • Shinsoo Manipulation - Prodigy: Once again owing to her especially strong Lifefire, Zeharr is especially talented in the fields of Shinsoo Manipulation. While holding more renown for her creativity and versitilty in the field, she's more than capable to hold her own in terms of raw talent, being able to generate as many as 54 Baangs, usually.
  • Close Quarters Combat - Adept: While not being particularly outstanding in the field, Zeharr is somewhat knowledgeable in the field of CQC, at least enough to be able to hold her own in a fight. Generally, her fighting style is focused on merely landing hits, rather than delivering them with any degree of strength or precision, due to the destructive nature of her Ashen Grip only requiring so much as a touch to do serious damage.
  • Hwayeomsa - A fitting boon for one of her people, Zeharr is among the few inside the Tower who is able to call themselves Hwayeomsa. Besides her remarkable talent with the ability, the only other thing of note about the trait, are the crackling black limbs that she carries because of it, a feature inherent to any of her species who carries the ability, and a symbol traditional of great authority and strength within their culture.
  • Ashen Sun Grip - A talent she's cultivated on her very own and what Zeharr likes to call her 'special move', Ashen Sun Grip is an advanced form of Shinsoo Manipulation designed for close-quarters combat. Essentially, the ability consists of her gathering a dense concentration of Shinsoo both around, and inside her hands, and setting it ablaze, then further compressing the resulting pyre around her hands, and forearms, setting the crackling heat within her hands into a fully blown, white hot blaze. The result, is an inferno of a heat of such intensity, that even Zeharr's seniors would hesitate to take a direct hit, outputting a destructive power beyond what Zeharr would usually be capable of. Which, with Zeharr being Zeharr, is certainly saying something.
  • Solar Ashen Shunt - A modified variation of the 'Slider' technique, Solar Shift centers around using the resulting explosive force generated from the rapid ignition of a large mass of Shinsoo to move Zeharr at speeds, and over distances greater than the original technique would usually allow. Overall, this allows her to speed about the battle field at a devastating five times what a utilizer of Slider would be able to achieve, though it does come at the price of a decreased ability to steer her movement, due to the ability essentially being a technique in which she attaches jet engines to her body. Zeharr is also able to use the regular Slider Technique, should the situation demand it. Solar Shunt also has the effect of making the 'after images' produced by her movement appear orange to red, rather than blue to red.
  • Ashen Supernova Lance - While Ashen Grip is what Zeharr refers to as her 'special move', Supernova Lance is definitely the technique that she'd name as her strongest. Lacking the refined nature of her Solar Shunt, and Ashen Grip, Supernova Lance consists of her gathering all the Shinsoo in an area she can manage, and compressing in the palm of her hand. Afterwards, she'll fire it forwards, causing it to rapidly expand into a 'Lance' of still-compressed Shinsoo, with the goal of piercing her target. After that, and only after that, will decompress, and ignite the Shinsoo, resulting in a massive explosion of heat and force.

History: From the very moment Zeharr was born, the fact that she was destined for greatness was clear. With the marks of the Hwayeomsa upon her limbs, and the skin as white as the greatest of her people's heroes, news of her birth exploded throughout her village as soon as she exited the womb, and soon, the rest of the Ember Kingdom would follow. Even reaching the ears of her people's leaders, the incredible circumstance of Zeharr's birth launched both her, and her family into the upper echelons of their society. They took positions as Dukes of their people, granted property, wealth, and authority for doing so much as bringing their daughter into the world, and Zeharr herself, was practically inducted into the royalty of their civilization.

Raised with access to the best tutors and trainers her people had to offer, Zeharr was brought up with the implicit purpose of scaling the Tower in mind. So, given access to both the greatest of both luxuries, and necessities, she flourished. Both in her studies, and sparring, Zeharr showed incredible talent, displaying not only the incredible aptitude for combat that her Lifefire would suggest, but also an ingenuity and intelligence that not only equaled, but surpassed it. Her progress shocked her tutors, Zeharr taking the lessons they doled out unto her as if they were of a second nature to her, advancing through at a rate nothing short of prodigious. It was made immediately clear that the girl was destined for an even greater fate than they'd thought, the day which she'd be ready to leave for the Inner Tower approaching faster and faster as the days went by.

Surprisingly, though, that wasn't nearly as true as they presumed. Despite Zeharr's outstanding talent, days, weeks, months and years whisked by without sight of hide nor hair of the rabbit-eared Guardian that they so eagerly awaited. And they didn't have a clue as to why. Her skill and capability was off the charts, her achievements stood as high as they could, while secluded to the solitary outer floor of the Tower upon which they resided, yet still Headon showed no interest in the girl. It was baffling. It stood without reason or rhyme, beyond the grasp of her people, so deeply steeped in their expectations as they were. Or at least, beyond the grasp of all but one. A single one of Zeharr's tutors, and one of the few Rankers that called her home floor their own. For she knew the rabbit well, and to grasp his attention, the young Ember needed one more thing, one vital thing that she lacked.

She needed to be interesting. Zeharr needed to be not only someone who would bring power to the Tower, no, there were candidates for that position aplenty. She needed to be someone who would bring dynamic to it. Someone who could spur on change and revolution, who could play a role in whatever grand plan that so-called-God held within his ever-unknowable mind. So, she set about making Zeharr into that very thing. With her connections and experience as a Ranker, she ventured throughout the Tower, reaching out to her contacts, and seeding within them information both true and false about the girl she sought to bring into their midst. Whispers. Rumors. She planted them throughout the Tower, their vines eventually reaching the ears of those of power. And among those, a few would take interest. The FUG. Thus, the preparations were in place. The FUG, tempted by the offer of yet another powerful, naive ally to place within their midst, were ready to serve as a landing pad. So the only thing left was to wait, for Headon to launch her.

And after only a few years, he would. Zeharr of course, would be none-the-wiser to her tutor's machinations and took Headon's sudden appearance into stride as she always did, entering the Tower without a shred of hesitation. Then began her warpath. From the moment she entered the Tower, Zeharr would outshine her fellow regulars by far. She blazed her way through the Floor of Test and those that followed, skyrocketing to the top of the E Rankings within months. And soon after, she'd meet the FUG. After she'd gained prestige within the Tower, they approached her, acting on the seeds of rumor that her tutor had sown all those year before, and bringing her into their fold. With them, powerful allies as they were, Zeharr scaled the Tower even further, taking whatever job they requested in exchange for their companionship into stride, and executing it without fault.

Her time with them, at first, was carefree and light. Well, when putting aside the... Illicit nature of the tasks she'd be assigned, at least. Zaharr forged friendships, and alongside them she traveled, with them she learned, she taught, she fought, she joked, and she lived. Those days, they were ones that even now, she'd remember fondly. But as with any good thing, they were to eventually come to an end. An end that would come, hinged on one single job. It was going to be simple, they said, claiming that they'd only need her aid in a task, an experiment of sorts that they were preforming within the depths of the Workshop. Something that they insisted that only she would be able to aid them with. So, she complied and traveled back down the floors of the Tower until her eventual arrival at the Floor she'd passed through so long ago. Something that they insisted that only she would be able to aid them with. So, she complied and traveled back down the floors of the Tower until her eventual arrival at the Floor she'd passed through so long ago. She followed their directions through the winding alleys and towers of the Workshop, until she arrived at a simple, unsuspecting door. And after she passed through it, what she could only describe as Hell reared up to meet her.

Through the door, the sight was a simple one. One that could even be soothing to anyone other than herself. Within the small, claustrophobic lab was not more than a handful of people, each one silently working away at some sort of strange, metal device. But that wasn't what disturbed her. Along the walls of the room, lining it's tables, shelves, and any free space they could find, were small, advanced looking capsules. And within each of them... Floated a tiny, dancing flame. At first, Zeharr wasn't exactly sure what she was looking at. But she felt it. A faint, flickering light of familiarity emanated from each and every one of the. They were... Enough. They were more than enough. Enough to send the ever calm and relaxed Ember into a rage. One without thought, or consideration. Before the scientists even had a chance to speak Zeharr set them ablaze, the silent tinkering of the carefully hidden workshop quickly being replaced by the deafening noise of fire and screams.

That one encounter, that one day was all it took. Zeharr abandoned the FUG, leaving the organization behind her without a shred of doubt in her mind. She left those she'd called ally and friend behind her without so much as a word, the pyre she'd left within the Workshop being the closest thing to a goodbye that any of them would receive. From that point on, she spent the rest of her time as a Regular alone, only ever entering a team whenever she absolutely had to, and abandoning them as soon as their purpose was fulfilled. The FUG, of course, was less than pleased by her betrayal, but Zeharr knew them well enough. She knew where they thought she'd be, she knew who and where she needed to avoid, and she knew who among them she could and could not defeat. So she managed to allude them. She kept her profile low, and her determination high as she ventured up through the Tower, steadily progressing along, and making sure to never stay in the same place for too long. Until eventually, she finally reached it's peak.

The 134th Floor. Arriving there, not an ounce of triumph was within Zeharr's being. No. Because here journey wasn't over. Not quite yet. She still had one thing she needed to go before she could really, truly call her ventures as a Regular complete. She needed to find out who was behind that twisted laboratory... And she needed to put an end to them. But, that was something she clearly couldn't do alone. But here, on the highest floor of the Tower the solution lay. The Zahard Empire. They were a force, she knew, that was far from imperfect themselves... But that wasn't important. What was important, was that they could help her. So to them she swore loyalty, so she could begin her search, at long last.

With the backing of the Empire, she'd found herself protection. She could walk the streets without worry of their assassins hunting her down, and, more importantly, she could investigate as freely as she wished. She scoured through every last tie she had to the FUG, begging, pleading, and beating any information she could out of them, until she finally learned the name of her quarry. And then the day came. Just one more day. Just one more encounter. She cornered the disgusting, depraved thing that'd wronged her. That'd wronged her people. And struck him down. As she had with the lab before it, she reduced the monstrous instigator to ash, and scattered him to the wind. On the one day, she felt not content, happiness, nor joy. She felt not anger, sadness, nor rage. All she felt, was the heat of her own flames as she burned that pile of sin into ash, and at feeling that feeling, that lack of feeling, she knew. That this was where things had to meet their end. Zeharr brought her war against the FUG to an end and secluded herself to her own mechanisms, deciding to do all she could to put her past behind her.

Now I'm not actually sure what the lyrics to this song are, but hey, the sound of it suits her, and it's called Blaze, so to hell with it, right?

On Ran's business card read the words "A mercenary with a heart of gold". He is fun loving and a very lax person. Ran doesn't enjoy stressing over things, so rather then stress over any given situation he just tries to work with the situation then fight against it. He is a lover of the finer things, games, booze and men. Ran is very open about his sexuality but usually isn't concerned about yours, even if you are not interested in Ran, he won't hesitate to try to get his way with you (within the laws of course). He enjoys sweet things a little too much, candy being his greatest weakness. Ran isn't one to get mad but he is one to get serious especially with a job. Any and all jobs assigned to him by FUG are absolute no ifs or buts. Ran on the job is a different beast all together. He is as efficient as he is terrifyingly deadly, taking mostly assassination jobs and having a track record of never letting his target live for more then a few hours.

Abilities and skills

Shinsoo control (adept): Above all Ran is a Wave Controller and he can prove extremely well. Strengthening his body with Shinsoo, flow control, reverse flow control are all second nature for him. On a more advanced level he can effect light using Shinsoo and is able to make holograms and turn himself as well as others invisible by shifting and bending light particles. Using that same skill he can also bend how the landscape around him looks. He is able to create 40 bangs easily and use each one for a different purpose if he can focus on it. He can increase the pressure of Shinsoo in a given area as long as he can see it. While his mastery over Shinsoo offensively is impressive he seems almost unable to use Shinsoo defensively by making barriers and he is only able to increase the durability of his body with Shinsoo to a certain point. He excels as using Shinsoo to attack and increasing his speed as well as physical power. Ran can give Shinsoo a flame like property and uses that to attack. Although his flame attacks are a force to be reckoned with he dislikes trying to contain it. He would rather cause as much destruction with it as he can. While he can pinpoint his flame attacks he usually just causes a huge explosion in the enemy's area, this can lead to his flame attacks getting powerful but sloppy. In some cases he has been seen to use Shinsoo to float or even fly but rarely does he use that ability, on one can say why.

Hand to hand combat master: There has never been a moment where Ren has picked up a weapon and fought with it. His whole life he has been fighting with his arms, legs and teeth. He can easily fight toe to toe with an enemy even if they are using a weapon. Fighting his whole life without a weapon has helped Ran gain an extremely fast reaction time. The perfect counter to most moves have been ingrained into Ran's subconscious, his fighting is purely instinctual.

Quick regeneration: Having the blood of all 10 families in his blood has given him the ability of quick regeneration. The time and rate of regeneration is dependent on the what is gone and how much of it is gone. If he loses an arm from the elbow down is can regenerate in five minutes. Regeneration happens on its own but Ran can speed it up if he focuses on it and stays stationary. The time is also dependent on if he is regenerating too many wounds. If he is regenerating one arm then it takes a significantly longer to finish if he has to regenerate two. One entire arm from shoulder down would take 10 minutes but if Ran was regenerating two arms it will take a 30 minutes to regenerate both. His powers will shut down if he has to regenerate too much at one time. He is also unable to regenerate vital organs such as the heart and lungs.

Ran has made a pact with the Guardians of the 20th, 50th, 77th and 134th floors. On those floors Ran's regeneration abilities are brought up to being near instant.

Weapons

Being a fisherman but not liking any weapon other then his hands he had a custom fish hook made for him. They are gloves with string that can be feed through the fingertips and be used as his fishing line. He can have ten different strings at once going but the length of each string is shortened compared to a normal hooks. The range that Ran can cast his string is shorter too.

History

Ran had lived in the slums of the tower, his job was as an underground arena fighter. He hated it but it was the best kind of job he could get, the pay was good and he was good at what he did. His family always questioned how he was providing for them but Ran never answered honestly. He was able to provide well for his family until a ranker felt the need to join a match. It was a big one, Ran vs the unknown ranker, the stakes were high and so were the bets. In the end Ran didn't stand a chance. The ranker didn't even give move an inch, it was a one sided battle. In one night Ran seemed to lose everything, his job, his home, his family. He stayed awake all night cursing the ranker that did this to him. Screaming to the sky how he would kill him. It was then that Headon came to him and give him the opportunity to climb.

He started like every other regular, all young and plucky thinking that they can take on any challenge that the tower threw their way. It only took two years for Ran to see how wrong he was. Going up all the floors he saw sadness, unlike anything he knew previously. He had experienced loss that made him crumple and fall. He had looked into hell and saw what horrors awaited him. Once he got to the 20th floor he stopped going up and decide to spend the rest of his life there, this is when FUG found him. Ran shared many of the ideals that FUG has and joined them. After he had been with them for a few years the opportunity to become a "Mad Dog" opened up to him and Ran took it. With the blood of the 10 families and a year of fighting for his life in the pit Ran began to make his way back up the tower. He became a Ranker after 430 years and a powerful member of FUG. He is now undertaking missions that are assigned to him in the tower by FUG.

Please nerf his regeneration. I can accept limb regeneration, but not heart regeneration. Modify that and he's accepted.

Accepted.

The Galleon

Name: Evelyn Wicker

Age: 736 (his mental age is that of a 24 year old male)

Gender: Male

Sexual Orientation: Pansexual

Q: Regular or Irregular? ->A: Irregular

Species: Human

Appearance:

th

Personality: In one word...whimsical. Evelyn does whatever he wants, whenever he wants, however he wants. His personality is as unpredictable as his mood. He can be nice to you one day then betray you next. He doesn't have a strong sense of loyalty and he does whatever he thinks seems more fun at the moment. Evelyn lives for entertainment and if you don't bore him then you are his friend...for now at least. He's quite manipulative and has no problem lying if he believes it will get him what he wants. He also enjoys collecting things that he considers rare and unique.

Position: Light bearer, Guide...though he has been asked to be a Spear bearer on many ocassions.

High-Ranker: 666th (Though this isn't proof of his actual skills as it is rumored that he planned his rank in order to get a cool number).

Sobriquet: The Galleon

Affiliation (Zahard Empire, FUG, Wolhaiksong or neutral): Neutral...though he has worked with all three groups at some point.

Abilities and skills:

  • Incredible Shinsoo Resistance: He's an irregular. He can basically walk through the most dense shinsoo fields with ease and travel to any floor he likes.
  • Multiple Weapons Expert: He is very versatile and knows how to skillfully use many different weapons in combat. Evelyn just needs to look at a weapon/item to know how (the path) to use it. The weapons he wields are usually high grade. This makes him excellent in both close and far ranged combat, though a true master of neither.
  • Excellent Shinsoo Manipulation: He's skilled at using shinsoo to enhance his physical capabilities, as well as his lighthouse's capabilities, and can control 100 (Actually 500) different lighthouses at a time. He is very skilled at flow control and reverse flow control. Reinforcing his lighthouse is no problem for him. He generally fires up to 100 shots (baangs) from Gold Friday at a time, though his max, when he is forced to get serious, is 500. Survived his encounter with Helios Prime, after all. The number of baangs he's able to utilize at a time decrease the more lighthouses he utilizes in conjunction. Essentially, if he's already using 300 lighthouses, he can only make another 200 baangs.
  • Expert Light Bearer: All the functions of a light bearer, he can perform quite well. Hacking? No problem. Teleport? Watch him transfer 100 people to a different location per lighthouse. Using his lighthouses to enhance any and all the high grade items he has in his possession is child's play. He's quite good at the support role and...as expected of an item hoarder...has various high grade cores to add to the functions of his many lighthouses.
  • Experienced Collector: There's a rumor that his stash of goodies can rival that of the 10 great families, if not better given the sheer number of paths he's walked, and his ability to appraise the value of an object.
  • Extremely Powerful Intuition: This is probably the skill that allowed Evelyn to become a high ranker. Evelyn's got a very acute sense of the tower and that's what makes him an excellent guide. His ability to see the paths of the tower and gauge a person's potential is frighteningly good even when compared to the likes of Silver Dwarfs or Red Witches. He has guided many rankers, and even high rankers up the tower.
  • Excellent Eyesight: Even without the use of his light house guiding, he can probably snipe a person from 50 kilometers away(courtesy of his Snake Eyes).
  • Incredibly skilled Tactician: He's good at strategy and getting what he wants.
  • Agile and fast: He's pretty light on his feet and his ability to react to changes is quick. The paths just come to him and keeping him trapped is pretty hard. He's a slippery snake that goes where he wants.

Weapons: He's got lots of rare high grade ignition weapons that he can utilize, but the one he usually carries is his shinsoo pistol, Gold Friday.

50968.jpg

  • Shinsoo Pistol, Gold Friday(B --> A-rank): This weapon evolves with its user acts as a channel to greatly aid shinsoo manipulation. It fires shinsoo bullets that can vary in size and shape depending on the user(becoming a long spear, a large globe, a beam, a creature, etc) . When ignited, the pistol will lengthen, glowing a brilliant gold, and the bullets will home on their target, moving as if alive.
  • Lighthouse(A-rank): It's made of very pure Suspendium...and it's green.
  • Snake Eyes(S-rank): It acts as a scope that allows him to see as far as 50 kilometers away in fine detail. It also induces drowsiness the longer you stare at it. Evelyn can multiply the drowsiness effect at will. In addition, it comes with thermal vision, night vision, shinsoo detector, and practically all the functions of an observer.

History: As with everything he did, Evelyn entered the tower on a whim...opening the door himself. He found a good group to travel with and helped them climb the tower. However, he didn't stay with any group for long and often liked to switch from one to another, sometimes going back to the second floor to see if there's a better group to hang with...since he found the process of climbing a lot more fun then becoming a ranker. Evelyn timed himself every time he successfully finished the climb. Along the way, he collected rare high grade items he found in the tower, keeping them as collectable trophies. He became a guide working with many different people he found fascinating. Evelyn has worked with members of Wolhaiksong, FUG, Zahard Empire, etc on many different occasions. However, his personality eventually drew the ire of a particular FUG slayer who blinded him(Helios Prime), forcing him to replace his eyes with Snake Eyes. Afterwards, he opened a shop on the 20th floor called Ophidian, selling rare high grade items to whoever could afford it and hiring Rankers to supply his shop. It was on a whim that he travelled to the secret village of the Cat Sidhe. When Evelyn learned of the rare purple-eyed Cat Sidhe he saw her potential and purposely got her riled up in order to see her eyes. Afterwards he acquired one of her eyes for himself, partly because it was unique and partly because he wanted to see her climb the tower. He currently has her eye locked away in his shop on the 20th floor.

After another perspective
After being "defeated" by Princess Murin Zahard and a powered up Selicity Fars, whose full potential had been temporarily awakened by the princess's Earth's White Blessing technique, he gave the Cat Sidhe back her eye and offered to guide her up the tower...along with an irregular Satyr who wants to destroy FUG, and the Princess of the Yongsung Dojo who he's taken an interest in. Guiding three regulars up the tower at the same time would prove to be a difficult task for most, but it doesn't really pose problem for the irregular guide extraordinaire. Evelyn rather enjoys the challenge. Though, as a high ranker, his assistance in tests are limited (without breaking too many rules at least), so he provides "support" in various other, less obvious, ways. His intentions are are as ambiguous as his goals, but, as with everything Evelyn does, you can just call it a whim. He helps people on a whim. He leaves them on a whim. And should the people he helps end up clashing...well...the side he picks is usually the one that entertained him the most.

[QUOTE="The One Eyed Bandit]
full

- Theme -

Now I'm not actually sure what the lyrics to this song are, but hey, the sound of it suits her, and it's called Blaze, so to hell with it, right?

Name: Seefi Grasshider

Age: 158

Mental Age: 21

Gender: Female

Sexual Orientation: Heterosexual

Q: Regular or Irregular? ->A: Regular

Species: Therianthrope

Personality: Seefi's kind of an odd sort. She's inquisitive to a fault, is plagued by the curse of never being able to tell when someone's joking, and despite her cool exterior, really, really needs to work on keeping her emotions in check. The first impression one would have of her is that of the cool, refined beauty that her outer shell would suggest, you know, the sort of ever elegant girl who drinks their tea with one finger stuck out, who wears only the trendiest of clothes, and whatnot. And to some degree, mostly in her usual mannerisms, that is quite true of her.

But in others... Well, being raised in a tent didn't exactly foster the greatest lady inside her. While she's generally soft spoken and sincere, she'll also interrupt people and intrude into conversations without a second thought. Where she's an astute and passionate learner, she's a bit too much of an astute an passionate learner, often invading sessions and events without permission, just because whatever the subject matter was peaked her curiosity. The listen goes on. All of that, really, can be traced back to the simple fact that her tribe was just so small. Everything was shared. Everything was a given. Anyone could intrude into anyone's matters, because every knew everyone else as well as they did the back of their hand. So, now Seefi, someone completely unused to, and even unaware of the conventions of larger societies is thrown into one... And, well, you get the picture.

Similarly, she's hopelessly trusting and naive. Throughout her life, she's been surrounded by people who, as far as she knew, held intentions just as pure as she. Her mind is completely free from fears of such things as deceit and betrayal, which, while allowing her to put her wholehearted trust into practically anyone she meets... Also is a bit of an open back, in a place so ruthless as the Tower she's been thrust into. This is especially true when you take into consideration her unnaturally self-sacrificial nature, being more than willing to put her life on the line, or give up whatever it is she values most, just for the sake of helping another.

Position: Spear Bearer

Rank: N/A

Sobriquet: N/A

Affiliation: Neutral

Abilities and Skills:

  • Predator - Seefi, as with her entire race, is especially in tune with the world around her. She's able to pick up on slight movements, vibrations, and changes in the atmosphere that only wildlife would usually be capable of picking up.
  • Astute Learner - Having spent most her free time growing up learning pretty much anything she could, Seefi's definitely become a swifter learner than most.
  • Smith - In her free time, Seefi has taken an especially large interest in the art of Smithing. She's relatively proficient in the skill, having even forged her own weapon and armor. Her methods are however, quite archaic, by the standards of the Inner Tower.
  • Shinsoo Resistance : Low - Having lived in an area of the Tower with a reletively low level of Shinsoo, Seefi's natural resistance to it is rather underdeveloped.
  • Huntress - Owing her training to the fields of her home floor, Seefi's experience in combat comes from her time hunting the wild Shinheuh of the Tower, rather than traditional training and combat. Because of this, her aim, throwing arm, and skills when combating Shinheuh are more developed than what one would expect from a fresh-off-the-boat Regular. She's however, not completely without experience in person-to-person combat, having spent a reasonable deal of time engaged in sparring matches with her fellow tribesman, which, when combined with tactics adapted from her hunting technique, allows her to hold her own against most regulars, too.
  • Illiterate - Her tribe not having developed a written language due to the scarcity of their number, Seefi can not read or write.

Weapons:

Red Spear - The finest arm Seefi has crafted, the Red Spear is a simple thing. It's design differs little from that of a traditional spear, it's greatest feature being the thorough Shinsoo Reinforcement carried out upon the haft, bolstering it's durability and flexibility, making it into a weapon worthy of use even inside the Inner Tower. At least, for now.

History: Secluded away on the Outer 117th Floor of the Tower, a small tribe lays. Hidden away, unobserved and untouched by the rest of the Tower's inhabitants, they are a people without name or prestige. Among them, living a simple life of little more than eating and sleeping, Seefi resided. As with all of the floor's natives, she'd grow up blissfully unaware of the Inner Tower and it's ever-conflicting inhabitants, her focus instead being turned to the simpler things in life.

Born into such a small tribe, Seefi's childhood was one that could hardly be called one, as was the norm for all born among her number. She, alongside her kin, would be taught to hunt and hide from the very beginnings of their lives, the act of tracking and slaying the Shinheuh of her floor being as natural to them as the passing of night and day. For Seefi, this was especially true. Born under the Chieftain of her tribe, she was raised with a determination fostered inside her. One that shone brightly, seeking towards the betterment of her people, so, when the fate day where she succeeded her father came, she'd not only be a replacement. No, she needed to be an improvement. She needed to bring forth their tribe to a new level, as her father had before her, and his had before him.

So, as she grew, she made it her goal to make sure she could. She steeled herself, she spent long nights, crouched low in the grass with nothing but the silence of the night to keep her company, just so she could improve her aim that tiny bit more. She spent endless days within the heats of the tribe's forge, carefully studying and learning under the blacksmith as he hammered away. She spent countless twilight, sat alongside the Elders of the tribe, with nothing but the clothes on her back, and a drink in her hand as she listened to their ancient, ever-wise ramblings, so to glean even the tiniest bit of knowledge from those who'd come before her. But in the face of the Tower, all of that was naught but dust in the wind.

It was, really, never much. What Seefi and her people had, that is. Their numbers barely reached into that of the thirties, their homes were often not more than tents and holes, and their food... Well, it would never be the most delicate of things. So, living like that it was undeniable. That really, Seefi and her people were probably among the weakest in the Tower. They were behind. In technology. In culture. And even in politics. Every single thing, that they'd found themselves so proud over, was naught in the shadow of the Tower, shielded only it's ignorance of they, and they of it. Rather, that was how things stood. Until a day barely a moon ago. A day when, something unprecedented happened, when a certain Guardian would finally trowel something, or someone, determined, stupid, or just plain crazy enough to place onto his board-game.

Seefi. Someone who, from the bottom of her heart, wished for nothing other than raising her people up to heights never seen before. Someone who, so naive and ambitious, would be unable to see through the Tower's God. Who, at such an opportunity as the one he presented to her, couldn't ever bring herself to say no. Someone who, for the first time in her people's history, entered the Tower of God.

Abilities and skills:

  • Strange inability to get killed. Despite his lack of skills and abilities, he has an incredible talent for not getting himself killed, due to his pure will too love.
  • Basic shinsoo resistance.

Weapons: He has a sort of dispenser that feeds out string wires, which he uses to set traps and trip enemies. The weapon feeds out up to two shinsoo reinforced string wires unless ignited. These strings are hard to see unless you are looking for them and hard to break.

History: He lived a normal life inside the tower, until one day after taking a blow that should of killed him from a irritable low ranker he walked into, Headon accepted him into the tower out of curiosity of how he survived.

Coward- a person who lacks courage in facing danger, difficulty, opposition, pain, etc./ a person who shows fear in the face of danger or pain.

His personality seems a bit contradictory. If you mean to say that he can get over his fear in certain situations then ok.

I'd like to know why the low-level Ranker attacked him. Also a common thing between the Regulars was also the fact that they deeply desired something. I'd like o know what that is as well.

As for his weapon. I'd rather not accept that right away. It sounds like something complex found in the Workshop. He can gain something like that later, but for now I can accept an Ignition weapon which is at maximum B-rank normally and A-rank when ignited.

Last but not least, if there is some special reason why he is so good at not getting killed, I'd like you to send me a pm and tell me why.

Bravery is not the absence of fear, but acting in spite of it, he doesn't actively seek danger and tries to avoid it, but can man up at times.

He probably bumped into him by accident.

It's not that complicated, its just a wire dispenser. An Ignition weapon is a lot fancier then this little thing.

He has a strong desire not to die I guess, probably climbing the tower in search of immortality.

But it is the absense of cowardice...He who is a coward is, by definition, not brave/corageous. I do know however that you put ''a bit of a coward'' so whatever. You can keep his personality like that.

And for what reason would that Ranker attack him?

It's a non-ignition weapon that contains hard-to-break shinsoo-enforced wires that move at very high speeds. In the ToG verse it is complex. Up until this point the only non-ignition-weapon 'objects' that used shinsoo where the Tournament Guards of the Workshop. But even those might have been made in the same way Ignition weapons were. Ignition Weapons are said to have a soul or use a special type of Shinsoo. Shinsoo that is somehow alive (like the Thorn).

If you want to use it that badly then at least make it a (rather peculiar) ignition weapon. Something like this: it only takes out 2 non-shinsoo-infused string wires when not ignited, and does what you say it does when ignited.

Ok add that in his bio.

I still want to know about that special ability that keeps him from dying. Why? Because I want to know if it's something I'm willing to accept.

Said Ranker was irritable?

Haven't really thought of that, just wanted a character who seemingly wouldn't die. I guess pure will too live?

Ok...there are people like that. Pure will to live huh? Ok it works . Just add that info and modify the info about that rather unique weapon of his and he is accepted.
