Gender: Male

Sexual Orientation: Heterosexual

Q: Regular or Irregular? ->A: Regular

Species: Human

Appearance:
033cd5bdcef82e1f4886cd4b5e10a7ee.jpg

Personality: Cheerful, he knows he is weak so he doesn't actively seek danger and tries to avoid it, but can man up at times

Position: Scout

Affiliation: neutral

Abilities and skills:

  • Strange inability to get killed. Despite his lack of skills and abilities, he has an incredible talent for not getting himself killed, due to his pure will too love.
  • Basic shinsoo resistance.

Weapons: He has a sort of dispenser that feeds out string wires, which he uses to set traps and trip enemies. When ignited, the weapon feeds out up to two shinsoo reinforced string wires. These strings are hard to see unless you are looking for them and hard to break.

History: He lived a normal life inside the tower, until one day after taking a blow that should of killed him from a irritable low ranker he walked into, Headon accepted him into the tower out of curiosity of how he survived.
Ok. Accepted. His weapon can make more that 2 string wires when ignited, if you want to (I only mentioned 2 when it is not ignited). Also if you could add his desire for immortality in the bio it would be great (but not obligatory).

Re-updated.

True name: Deltron Zero
*Alias as an average Ranker: Weiss Delta
**Alias as a High Ranker: Dominus Mortem

Age: 580 (mental age: 30)

Gender: male

Sexual Orientation: apprears asexual (possibly heterosexual, though)

Q: Regular or Irregular? ->A: Regular

Species: human

Appearance:
latest

Personality: Deltron is a man who shows little emotion. One may think he is heartless, but that isn't really the case. Truthfully, he isn't emotionless, but was trained to keep his emotions under control. In other words, he merely has incredible self-control and discipline. He is, however, severe and can be merciless towards those who break the laws of the Tower.

Position: fisherman (as a High Ranker), spear bearer (as a Ranker)
*As a Ranker: 3000th Rank
**As a High Ranker: 600th Rank, Sobriquet: Blank Stinger;

Affiliation: Zahard Empire

Abilities and skills:
#Outstanding physical prowes- Deltron is incredibly fast, strong, and durable, to the point where he is considered extremely dangerous even without using Shinsoo.
#Master fighter- Deltron does not practice any particular martial art, but he has developed his own fighting style. His fighting skills are top notch.
#Shinsoo manipulation (special)- Deltron has a peculiar way of using Shinsoo. Of course, he can do the usual things that High Rankers of his level can do, such as using the Flow Control and Reverse Flow Control with ease, increasing his physical capabilities to great heights, strengthening his weapon, and creating up to 38 Baangs. But he has a few unique skills, which make him quite terrifing:
  • White Shinsoo- for some reason the Shinsoo that Deltron controls turns white. Deltron's speciality is the unusual ability to counter or erase the Shinsoo techniques of others.
    • Counter Waves- by concentrating Shinsoo in his fists and releasing it in the form of multiple energy waves which go in various directions, Deltron can weaken, or even disperese Shinsoo attacks.
    • Blank Blade- the reason for his Sobriquet. By concentrating Shinsoo within his wooden sword and causing it to vibrate, Deltron's sword becomes as powerful as an A-Rank Ignition Weapon. Depending on the power of the Shinsoo technique that he faces, Deltron can erase it, cut it, or block it.
      • [True Form] Blank Blade: Molecular Divider- the true nature of Deltron's technique, which only a few selected people know about. He can actually increase the power of his wooden sword to the point where it becomes as powerful as an S-Rank Ignition Weapon. Also, apart from Shinsoo-countering, he can give the sword a white Shinsoo edge, which is as sharp as that of a monomolecular blade, thus making him able to cut through the toughest materials that the Tower has to offer. This technique requires great concentration and cannot be overused, thus Deltron only utilizes it when it is truly necessary, or when he doesn't have a choice.
  • White Scales- by concentrating Shinsoo within his body, Deltron causes his entire body to become white. This technique greatly increases his Shinsoo resistance, to the point where it rivals that of an extremely powerful Irregular. On the other hand, extended use puts quite the burden on his body.
  • Void Spear- Deltron can generate a white spear made of Shinsoo which he launches at his target. If one tries to counter it with Shinsoo, the energy will be absorbed into the spear, making it grow both in size and destructive power. However, if the amount and pressure of the Shinsoo attack used to counter it is too much, the spear will vanish.
  • Silence Bullet- Shinsoo bullets that he can shoot through his fingers. If the bullet hits a living being, then that being will be rendered unable to use Shinsoo for a short period of time depending on their Shinsoo resistance and mastery. The amount of time can range from a maximum of 5 minutes to a minimum of 3 seconds.
  • Silence Strike- technique variation. Deltron can concentrate Shinsoo within his limbs and strike. Has the same effect as Silence Bullet.
  • Zone Zero- Deltron can temporarily disperse the Shinsoo in an area which is within his field of vision, on a maximum radius of 20 meters. Because the Shinsoo within that area temporarily disappears, people caught within it become unable to breathe, as Shinsoo takes the role of air within the Tower (among other things). The area will return to normal after 6 minutes. It takes him roughly 40 seconds of concentration to pull it off, though, so it is mainly used for ambushing, rather than direct confrontations.
  • Tabula Rasa- Deltron's eyes become white and begin to glow, and if anyone stares into his eyes for more than two seconds, then their mind will go blank for 5 seconds.
  • Unusual characteristic: hair manipulation- Deltron can use Shinsoo to strengthen and use his own hair as a weapon. This is a technique which he uses when he operates under the alias Weiss Delta.
->[Outstanding Shinsoo resitance]<-

Weapons (if any) +their capabilities:
#Deltron has a few spears and swords stored in his Arms Inventory, but he generally only uses two specific weapons:

  • A normal wooden sword with no crossguard (as Dominus Mortem)- it becomes a lethal weapon when he empowers it with Shinsoo.
  • Pyro Drake (as Weiss Delta):
5903408333_348ce23fff_b.jpg

^B-Rank Ignition Weapon (A-Rank when ignited). A spear with an unusually long and sharp pointed head. When it is activated, the spear's head turns into a literal blade of fire, and causes extremely hot fire-effect Shinsoo outbursts on impact with anything it touches.

History:
Deltron Zero woke up one day in an open field somewhere in the Outer Tower. He found himself in an unusual situation. As if pieces of his memory were taken away. He only remembered three things: his name, that he could use Shinsoo, and that he had an unusually strong desire to enter the Inner Tower. He was really confused. As he was walking aimlessly through the fields, Deltron was approached by Headon.

"Do you wish to have your strongest desire come true?"
"I don't even know what I desire..."
"But I do, Deltron Zero."
"How do you know my name? Wait...I have a vague memory of you..Who are you?"
"You can call me Headon. I am...the caretaker of the Inner Tower. And I know that you desire answers, don't you, Deltron?"
"Inner Tower...Answers. Y-yes...yes. Answers...I need answers!"

Thus began Deltron's journey through the Inner Tower. He had a fast ascension, reaching the 5th Floor of the tower within 1 year. But by then, he was approached by members of the Zahard Empire. They promised that they'd give him the answers he was looking for, if he'd join them. He accepted.

300 years later, Deltron had already climbed the Tower twice. Once under the alias of Weiss Delta, and a second time as the mysterious masked man, Dominus Mortem ( his mask was given to him by the Zahard Empire, and it has a special function that makes his hair become extremely short as long as he wears it). Due to his abilities , he became a secret weapon of the Zahard army and a special member of RED.

It is unknown if he found the answers he was looking for, but after all those decades, Deltron's personality changed almost completely. Currently he is a simingly loyal follower of Zahard.

Q: Regular or Irregular? ->A: Irregular

Species: Cyborg (human).

Personality: Daz is a calm and collected man, however he is greedy, having an insatiable hunger for power and fame. He wants to be known, he wants to be the most powerful, however he tends to overestimate his abilities, feeling like he can take on the most impossible tasks. He can back it up most of the time as he is easily able to overpower most opponents. But he is completely capable of outsmarting opponents as well. Due to his cybernetic enhancements, he is able to identify fighting patterns, or kinks in someones fighting style. Sometimes, if he has enough time, he can identify their weakness.

Position: Fisherman however he can fill the Wave Controller (Jeonsulsa and Dansulsa) position.

Affiliation: FUG (soon)

Abilities and skills:

#Outstanding Physical Capabilities: Daz, from even before his cybernetic enhancements, has shown incredible speed, strength, reflexes, durability, and stamina. However, his cybernetic enhancements has improved these by an incredible amount.

#Cybernetic Enhancements: Daz has undergone experimentations due to a near death experience. He has been fitted with new organs, an arm, and a leg made of metals and electronics, making Daz, a cyborg. He has many gadgets attached to his body (telescope in his eyes, information on many things about some races from outside the tower and he is capable of identifying some humane things like specific types of metals or things like that, wings that sprout from his back, flashlights, and many other useful or not useful gadgets). He has human feelings that he can hinder when he desires to (like Tatsuya Shiba), however, he can only do that for a short period of time for reasons unknown. He does have a resistance to fire and a higher durability than most other races, however, he can be overloaded with electricity, malfunction from extensive exposure to water, and some acids can still melt through his metal covering.

#No Shinsoo Manipulation: Yet.

#Outstanding Physical Combatant: Daz is a very worthy opponent, utilizing all of his abilities when fighting, being a very versatile and dangerous foe for anyone on the same level he is at. He does not know martial arts or other "techniques" that give many advantages in fighting, he resorts to using his weaponized arm for most of the heavy hits and his human arm for carrying his sword. He is a brawler-type hand to hand fighter.

#Great Shinsoo Resistence (Special): He has great overall resistence, however he has better resistence against fire and electric shinsoo. However, if he takes too much electric shinsoo at one time, he will be overloaded and have to restart his system which can take a while. He has almost no resistance to water, if it enters his body with force and gets into his motherboard, he can be fried and have to restart his system. He can swim though, he can manage his way through water, but if it is used against him with the form of shinsoo and gets inside of his system, it can get bad. He tends to stay away from water because of this.

Weapons +their capabilities: His own body (literally). He has many different gadgets and weapons attached to his body. However he has a black sword and his left arm that he mostly uses. He can sprout mechanical wings that can sprout from his back that can be used for gliding it enhancing his jumps drastically, however he is too heavy to successfully fly. Very durable and sharp, his arm is light and powerful and he prefers to use it as his main weapon for fighting. His sword is a bit heavy, some people may not be able to lift it, but Daz has the capability of using it with ease and proficiency.

History: Daz was the king of an entire kingdom from outside of the tower, ruling through fear and letting everyone know, he was their ruler. However, he craved more than just his own kingdom, he wanted more. He needed more land, power, fame. Daz started to invade nearby kingdoms, and he had gotten pretty far along with his invasions, however when he came to a very large kingdom, some of his own troops turned on him along with the other kingdoms, attempting to overthrow him and kick him out from being a ruthless tyrant. They attempted to kill him, and they had gotten fairly close to doing so, however King Daz had some few very loyal followers. Some who would do anything to have their king get what he wants. So they had taken him to a far away land, filled with technology beyond their own kingdom's. They had given their few lives for Daz's. These people who were given Kaiser's dying body were known as "The Metalsmiths". They had been known for making cyborgs from these humans, but none have been as successful from living or completely dead humans. Daz, on the verge of death, was the perfect candidate. He could feel no more pain, nor could he have been completely without the spark of life. The Metalsmiths worked on Daz for days, making new organs, limbs and giving him the gadgets that would make him the greatest of them all. However these Metalsmiths had a plan of their own, when Daz would be complete, they would send him to the legendary Tower. They could follow him in, and they would be granted all the power they could ask for. They uploaded all that Daz would need to know about himself and before they woke him up, they left him outside of the gates to the Tower. When Daz took his first breath, he was afraid. So afraid that he was overloaded with emotions he hadn't wanted and he blindly exploded with a *bang* (Heh), killing all of the Metalsmiths around him. Once he calmed down, however, he became confused as to why he was in front of these gates. Until he opened them...

#Outstanding Physical Capabilities: Kaiser, from even before his cybernetic enhancements, has shown incredible speed, strength, reflexes, durability, and stamina. However, his cybernetic enhancements has improved these by an incredible amount. He is capable of going toe-to-toe with even some very low Rankers in terms of brute strength.

#Cybernetic Enhancements: Kaiser has undergone experimentations due to a near death experience. He has been fitted with new organs, an arm, and a leg made of metals and electronics, making Kaiser, a cyborg. He has many gadgets attached to his body (telescope in his eyes, information on many things, missiles shot from his arm and back, wings that sprout from his back, flashlights, screwdrivers on his fingers, cords able to hack into most forms of technology, and many other useful or not useful gadgets). #Great Shinsoo Manipulation: He can produce about 3 baangs before he must rest to regain his baangs. He is capable of making powerful and large explosions shot from his arm and even more powerful concussive blasts from his chest (from the cybernetic heart that is a powerful "engine"). He can make these baangs fiery, but he has to actually program that into his arm when he wants to use fire baangs. This is however the most he can use of shinsoo manipulation as of now.

Ok so a few things...

Being a ranker does not equal to higher brute strength. In other words "He is capable of going toe-to-toe with even some very low Rankers in terms of brute strength" doesn't really mean anything. You can just mention that he has a lot of brute strength.

"He has human feelings that he can turn off when he desires to, however, he can only do that for a short period of time for reasons unknown"- human emotions come from the brain, or, to be more specific, the limbic system. On the other hand, if he somehow shuts down the functions of the limbic system, aparts from emotions, he also shuts down the elements which are responsible for motivation, learning, and memory. Basically...it would completely hinder his ability to think, or react. If you want to limit the strength of his emotions (like in the case of Tatsuya Shiba, from The Irregular at the Magic Highshcool) for a short period...then I am ok with it.

"He has many gadgets attached to his body (telescope in his eyes, information on many things, missiles shot from his arm and back, wings that sprout from his back, flashlights, screwdrivers on his fingers, cords able to hack into most forms of technology, and many other useful or not useful gadgets)."

"His own body (literally). He has many different gadgets and weapons attached to his body. However he has a black sword and his left arm that he mostly uses. ^Now, this part needs the most changes. I understand that he can have information on many things, but I'd like you keep in mind that he cannot have info on the Tower. His missiles should be limited in their numbers, and thus he'd need to refill his stash once they run out. On the other hand the technology in the Tower is very peculiar, so I have no idea how that will work. Screwdrivers and hacking tools have no value in the Tower...Lightbearers do all the info gathering and hacking (through lighthouses and operahouses). The biggest problem: he cannot have tech that fires shinsoo blasts. Shinsoo is specific to the tower (therefore he cannot use it before he actually enters the Tower) and you need special types of materials and technology to implement it into weapons. You can have those types of things later, after the time skip.

He cannot have that great of a Shinsoo Manipulation yet- he hasn't entered the Tower and hasn't learned about Shinsoo for the moment. Even if he did, I'd only allow him to be able to create one bang of shinsoo until the end of the 2nd floor test and, subsequently, the time skip. You may update that section afterwards.

That would be all.

Ok, now he's accepted.

Name:Argeus

Age 1000 with a mental age of 60

Gender: Male

Sexual Orientation: Straight

Q: Regular or Irregular? ->A: Irregular

Species (Living Ignition Weapon included): Saytr

Appearance:

Personality Argeus is a quiet being who much rather listen and watch than speak. Argeus tends to make friends easy, but without every truly trusting most of them. Those he does trust he is more than willing to help should the opportunity arrive to.

Position: Wave Controller

Affiliation Neutral

Abilities and skills:

High Shinsoo resistance

Attuned to nature: Argeus is able to draw out and use the Shinsoo within plant life to become more powerful

Arbor Body: Argeus' body is comprised of a tree that adapted to feed on all sorts of energies around it to survive in the outside world. It was discovered once he entered the tower that he could feed on Shinsoo as well. As he takes in Shinsoo Argeus is able to change his size from his normal 13'0 feet down to whatever size or even grow larger based on how much Shinsoo he takes in. The Shinsoo Argeus takes in is stored within the red maple leaves that grow out of his body and the leaves will wither when he uses too much Shinsoo which can endanger his life.

Affinity with Nature: Argeus is able to manifest his Baaams in the form of seedlings which he is able to control the growth of. Argeus is also able to resonate the Shinsoo in his body with that of other plants giving him the ability to control plants and use them in combat.

Excellent sense of smell: Argeus is effectively blind using Shinsoo to see and even then only when things are close so he relies on his sense of smell and the feeling in the air to navigate.

Spear proficiency: Argeus spent most of his life as a hunter never really exploring his abilities as a wave controller which has given him a mastery over the spear he uses as a primary weapon.

Tracking: His excellent nose is great for following scents.

Camo: He is able to blend into a wooded area or in a forest.

Regeneration: Like any good plant Argeus is able to regrow limbs with no real issue, but if his heart, located at the center of his chest were to be destroyed he would of course die.

Weapons (if any) +their capabilities: A wooden spear which his is able to change into a bow. Carved out of his dead father.

History: Argeus entered the out of curiosity and desperation. Being the only of his kind left in existence Argeus entered the tower to find shelter and possible to bring his race back from the grave. The wood from Argeus' kind is extremely durable perfect for any sort of crafting. Some would argue that their wood is required when one is crafting a masterpiece, and so the peaceful giants were hunted down and turned into end tables, homes, and weapons. It was after that Argeus learned that he was actually a wave controller and began to embrace this revelation. Rather than join FUG and become an enemy to everyone he sacrificed his friends and now travels alone. Waiting for the opportunity to strike back at FUG.

Horrified by this Argeus entered the tower with the intention of bringing his race back. Argeus was able to breeze through the first few floors with ease thanks to his size and his strange ability to feed on all sorts of energies. It was after that Argeus learned that he was actually a wave controller and began to embrace this revelation. Argeus was able to make many friend during his climb up the tower, but one by one they were snuffed out by FUG who tried to use his friends to force him into working with them. Rather than join FUG and become an enemy to everyone he sacrificed his friends and now travels alone. Waiting for the opportunity to strike back at FUG.
Accepted.

Personality: What a strange one this guy is. He is friendly, childish, very sarcastic, and enjoys pranks. He is very sneaky when he is comfortable and loves to crack jokes. Of course, it's all for the ladies. But if you upset him even a little bit, he will not show mercy. He loves being with his friends and can be dramatic. However, he will only fight if he is stopping a fight, or if one of his friends is in danger.

Position: Wave Controller and Spear Bearer/Fisherman

Ranker: 1234th rank. It makes him happy.

Affiliation: Part of the Eurasia family. Publicly, he is a follower of Zahard, but really, he doesn't care.

Abilities and skills:

  • Incredible Physical Condition: Eredin is very strong, fast, and fit, and he looks it, too. He is very agile and has proven to be quite durable.
  • Shinsoo Manipulation, Expert: He is very capable of handling himself in a fight, using solely shinsoo. He can create up to 25 Baangs, and he is very capable of enhancing his own body with it, able to perform incredible feats. He has a great understanding and capability of using both Reverse Flow and Regular Flow os Shinsoo. He is known for manipulating his spear by surrounding it with shinsoo (Making it more durable and sharper, reinforcing the steel), controlling it wherever he wants, commonly just throws it and makes it come back, but really fast. Also makes blasts or beams of black shinsoo, same design as Baam's, but black and silver.
  • Spear skillz: Eredin has remarkable accuracy and precision with his spear and any thrown objects. He is also very adept with using his spear in close combat.
  • Unnaturally High Shinsoo Resistance

Weapons (if any) +their capabilities: Spear of Judgment. Same spear in his appearance. Ignition Weapon. When ignited, it multiplies into 12 different spears, all controlled by Eredin subconsciously. A much less powerful skill than Enryu's skill, yet still very useful.

History: Well, Eredin is a part of the Eurasia family and that is enough reason in itself for him being chosen by Headon, but he really had shown an interest in becoming a very versatile fighter, able to take control of any offensive position with ease. He grew up in the Tower and was treated with respect even as a child, just for being the son of the Family Head. However, that comes with a price, as every child is supposed to be incredibly talented from birth. Luckily, Eredin was very talented.... At improving himself. When he first started training, it took a long time, but he had the patience and the intensity to keep going on and pushing himself to the limit. He was eventually chosen to be a Regular in the Tower and climbed it very quickly, it just so happened that many of the participants were very strong, like himself. It was almost one of the fastest groups to climb the Tower in a very long time.

Name: Hex Jaspers

Age: 350 (mental age: 18)

Gender: male

Sexual Orientation: heterosexual

Q: Regular or Irregular? ->A: Regular

Species: metahuman

Appearance:
Komaeda.Nagito.full.1552294.jpg

Nagito-Komaeda-dangan-ronpa-guys-37371070-600-467.jpg

Personality: Hex is rather cheerful and laid-back, even when he talks about people dying. But that may be just a mask he wears, so that people wouldn't be able to understand what he's thinking, and also as a means of defending himself against psychological warfare. He has a high level of self control, but that doesn't mean he can't be angered.

Position(s): Wave Controller, Jeonsulsa, Scout, and even Fisherman if necessary
A-Rank Regular

Affiliation: Wolhaiksong

Abilities and skills:
#Superhuman physical capabilities- even without the use of Shinsoo, Hex has physical prowes which are above normal human levels, namely:
  • Supernatural speed & reflexes- Hex can move so fast that he appears as a blur, and his reflexes enable him to dodge and maneuver around complex attacks, and react instantaneously to what most people take a lot more time to react to.
  • Enhanced durability- he has conditioned metabolism enabling extraordinary efficient healing, as well as denser skin, bone, and muscle than normal. Hex can take numerous blows of internal or external assaults before succumbing to the effects. His level of durability is high enough for him to be unharmed by high level free falling.
#Average human strength- Hex is just your average Joe when it comes to lifting and punching strength without the use of Shinsoo. In other words, he is capable of lifting his own body weight, at max (65 kg).
#Hand-to-hand combat expertise- Hex is proefficient in quite a few martial arts of the Tower. He also learned a few things about fighting from Ha Yuri Zahard and Urek Mazino.
#Golden Eyes of Truth Perception- a conceptual ability which he inherited from his mother. Whenever he activates it, his eyes turn yellow (golden) and enable him to see the 'truth' in anything. To be more precise he can see the aura of any being (thus understanding their true nature), always realise what is real/fake (and therefore, always detect if someone is telling the truth, or a lie and be aware of illusions) and literally see the movement something is about to take, a few seconds before it actually happens (he sees the trajectory of anything through the form of yelow lines), so he cannot be fooled by feint attacks and can dodge better. Overusing this ability, however, causes severe ocular pain.

Avenger.%28Edmond.Dant%C3%A8s%29.full.1985377.jpg
#Shinsoo manipulation (prodigy)- Hex is a genius in understanding and manipulating Shinsoo, but rather than learning and copying techniques that others use, Hex is the type that observes other people, analyzes how they use Shinsoo, then comes up with his own techniques. With his level of power, he can fight toe-to-toe with almost all Rankers (but he'd still be unable to defeat a High-Ranker without aid). He can control up to 25 Baangs, use Flow Control & Reverse Flow Control in an extremely efficient way, and strengthen his body to outstanding levels, but those are just the basics, so to say. Most of his Shinsoo skills are fairly unique:
  • Grim Lightning- the Shinsoo he uses is (generally) electric in nature, but rather peculiar, as it is somehow fused with darkness, and always dances arund his body, regardless of how he uses it, forming some sort of protective armor. Apart from basic energy blasts, Hex has a few other sub-techniques:
    • Umbra Ergo: Accel- by using electric Shinsoo to stimulate the nerves, Hex can enhance his physical strength (including jumping strength), speed, and reflexes to a frightening degree, thus making this an advanced version of the "classic" Shinsoo body strenghtening. On a more advanced level he can also accelerate his healing rate by absorbing the Shinsoo-based electrons and using them to stimulate molecules, renewing damaged cells. He can only use it for 10 minutes once every day, and becomes very tired afterwards.
    • Umbra Ergo: Vector Blade- Hex generates an electrical blade which can stretch and change trajectory based on his thoughts. Darkness also forms around it.
    • Electro Snake- can create one or more snakes made out of dark electricity, to attack the target(s).
    • Dark Coud: Lightning Rain- Hex creates a dark storm cloud above his target(s), which generates a great amount of lightning strikes.

  • Darksider- a very peculiar technique. Darkness forms around Hex and engulfs him, taking the shape of a symbiotic organic armor. When he uses this, his durability, strength, and even Shinsoo resistance are enhanced to incredible heights. He can manipulate it to some degree, generating claws or spikes from it. It has the special ability to store up to 14 Baangs within a sort of tentacle that is generated from the chest area. Whenever he punches, or kicks something (or someone) Hex can use the energy from one of the stored Baangs to add an explosive energy wave to his attacks. Once all the Baangs are used, the darkness armor will disappear. Even if he doesn't use them all, the armor will still disappear after an acumulated 30 minutes of usage. Can be used once per day.

latest
  • Free style- his most interesting technique. By using Shinsoo to bend some of the laws of physics, Hex is able to stand, walk, or run on horizontal or vertical walls, on water and even on air.
->[unnaturally high Shinsoo resistance]<-

Weapons (if any): none

History: Once a beautiful and powerful Irregular woman with golden, messy hair and yellow eyes entered the Tower. While not as fast as Urek Mazino, she managed to reach the top of the Tower extremely quick. Once she reached the 100th Floor, she took Arie Hon's special test and fought him for 10 minutes. They were evenly matched. While Arie Hon would usually respect such an opponent, for the first time, he was actually infatuated.

After some time, the golden haired woman would have given birth to Arie Hon's child. Given her and his abilities, the child would have surely been monstruous as well. But the woman died after giving birth to the child. The baby was a boy, and his mother named him Hex. Arie Hon was silent and stoic that day.

The boy was indeed a genius. Hex's ability to manipulate Shinsoo was outstanding and he even inherited his mother's conceptual ability (Golden Eyes of Truth Perception). He was sure to become a true monster. But Arie Hon was unsatisfied with him once he saw that he couldn't, or better said, didn't want to learn the Arie sword techniques, as he found them...boring.

Since he belived that he had nothing to offer the child, and the child had nothing to offer him, Arie Hon decided to have Hex leave the family. Basically, he abbandoned his son. Strangely enough, Hex didn't seem sad when his father abbandoned him, just disappointed in him. Conservatorism and obsession with power where never things which Hex was keen on, to say the least. By that time, Hex was 160 years old, and was already approached by Headon.

With nothing left to lose, Hex accepted Headon's offer and entered the Inner Tower. 190 years later, Hex became a famous A-Rank Regular, reaching the 100th Floor. He chose, however, not to take his father's test. He also discarded the Arie family name and chose to use his mother's name instead. Everyone knew him as Hex Jaspers.

Throughout his adventures, Hex eventually found someone who shared his ideals. The man known as Urek Mazino. Thus he joined Wolhaiksong.

Name: Areum Eurasia

Age: 220

Mental Age: 19

Gender: Female

Sexual Orientation: Super Gay

Q: Regular or Irregular? ->A: Regular

Species: Human

Personality: Of the Eurasia family, the first thing that may come to one's mind about Areum is 'lazy', and while not as endlessly lethargic as her the bigger portion of her brothers and sisters, one wouldn't be entirely mistaken to think in such a way. A bit of a 'pampered princess', Areum isn't the sort that's particularly pleased with things not going her way. Whether something such as losing a battle or something as trivial as food or bedding not being up to par, Areum is extremely quick to complain, either pinning the blame on others or launching an attempt to force them to do something about it.

However haughty, though, Areum isn't entirely disagreeable. So long as everything as going the girl's way, in fact, you'll often find her to be quite a reasonable companion. Despite her spoiled nature, the girl admittedly does have a decent head on her shoulders, and as a former Princess Candidate, she's quite capable of slipping into a leader's position, being surprisingly considerate despite what her arrogance would lead most to believe, though her strategic capabilities do find themselves a little lacking. She's of the sort who make a good companion, so long as her prospective partner find themselves able to either look past- or just deal with- the issues the plague her personality.

Of which, the most detrimental is perhaps the girl's inferiority complex. Though you'll never find Areum admitting to it, her mother's refusal of her becoming a Princess had more of an effect on her than just causing her to 'run away from home'. With her denial of the position and the now poor ties she holds with her family, Areum took an extreme blow to her self-esteem, acting as she does in an attempt to both make up for it and cover what she perceives as her failure up to those around her. Her arrogance, in reality, isn't much more than an attempt to make up for the confidence she's lost, even if Areum herself doesn't realize it.

Position: Defender

Rank: N/A

Sobriquet: N/A

Affiliation: Herself

Abilities and Skills:

  • Shinsoo Manipulation: Bulwark - A specialized form of Shinsoo Reinforcement, Bulwark is a talent cultivated by Areum herself that focuses on solely enhancing a single one of her attributes, rather than her physical capabilities on the whole. Namely, Areum is versed in enhancing her defensive abilities, and nothing more, increasing both her Shinsoo and Physical Resistances, while leaving her attacking power and speed untouched. Her experience in other forms of manipulation is barebones at best.
  • Shinsoo Resistance: Very Good- Defense being Areum's specialty, she's put a particular amount of effort into improving her Shinsoo resistance, and is a stage above most her fellow E-Ranked as a result.
  • Adept Fighter - To support her Shinsoo Reinforcement, Areum is in the process of learning her way around the martial arts. While reasonably talented, and able to put up a good fight against most other F-Ranked Regulars, she's not nearly as experienced as some, and still has much to learn.

Equipment:

  • Palisade Bracelet - A modified Arms Inventory, the Palisade Bracelet is built up of a series of small, dense discs, which are compressed through Shinsoo, attached to a thin wire. By running a current through them, the user is able to decompress and control them for use as shields, platforms, or anything else they're able to think of. Decompressed, each disc has a width of around six feet, and is able to resist force equal to two or three Baangs of power. There are six discs attached to the Palisade Bracelet, though Areum is only able to control two at a time.

History: As a member of one of the Great Families, Areum's always been part of an elite few of the Tower. But even amongst them, she's always been more than a bit of a rarity. In the family famous of Wave Controllers, Areum displayed a talent deserving of her name indeed, only, not in belonging to the family's traditional image. As a Defender, instead, her role was clear. From a moment not more than a month after she'd begin training to climb the Tower Areum showed talent for the ever-illusive role, and as she advanced that talent only grew. It grew, and she began to shine, enough for her to catch the wandering, greedy eye of Zahard. A girl of beauty, prestige, and rarity, she presented herself as a valuable gem indeed. Valuable enough for Zahard to invite the girl into his own fold. And valuable enough for her mother to deny.

As opposed as the woman was to even the thought of the Princess Selection process, she denied Areum completely. Enne. The reason, clearly, was that woman. That murderous older sister of hers. But even if she knew that there was little Areum could do to make her mother budge. No amount of begging, pleading, or reasoning would get through to her. For a few years, she tried without fault. But she never even gained an inch of footing. The argument wasn't even one-sided, hell, it wasn't even an argument. She'd have been better off pleading to a rock.

So, she did what seemed logical to her. She took anything she could in hand, and ran away.

Areum abandoned the home of her family and cut her way into her own place in the Tower. She'd build up a life of her own, she thought, and then she'd contact Zahard, in whatever way she could, and take up that which she'd been denied. Obviously, things didn't go the way she'd hoped. As valuable as gem as she was, Zahard was hardly in the business of welcoming one such as her into his fold. A runaway. A traitor. And neither was her family, so sure of that fact was Areum that she didn't even have to check. With her disgraceful begging on one hand and her haphazard flee from their arms in the other, the Eurasias wouldn't interested in taking her back in the slightest.

Because of her actions, because of her rashness, Areum lost almost everything. All she'd been left with were the clothes on her back, and what pathetic a living she could scrape out. Still, somehow, she managed to succeed. Not with a life of glamour or excitement, but one none the less. A life enough to allow her ego to recover, if only a little, before being approached by Headon, only to be left behind once again, in search of either a new one entirely, or an old one reclaimed.

I know I already accepted this character but there are two things that I'd like you to modify...please change outstanding shinsoo resistance to unnaturally high shinsoo resistance and shinsoo manipulation:master to shinsoo manipulation: expert.

PERSONALITY

Amongst the many stereotypes, whether it be the silent one, the haughty one, the annoyingly shy one, the easy-going one, Orin would mostly fit within the 'introvert' category. Often, and rightfully first perceived as a calm, reserved, borderline shy individual, Orin hosts an inner flame and passion for various things. Whether it be establishing peace at the end of the line, climbing the tower, getting on the same level as everyone else, or eating surface-world foods, Orin hosts many things to be passionate about. However, the most former seems to be the most outspoken passion at the moment.

Orin's a type of person who always wants to help others, while at the same time rejecting any help directed to himself. Though, despite this, he often
only directs his attention to a couple, worthy causes. Spreading his attention too thinly would only lead to quick, swift mental exhaustion for Orin, overwhelming himself with all the bad in the tower that he can't fix.

Orin is generally quite careless when it comes to his livelihood. Directly correlated to his need to contribute something, and his lack of tactical expertise, Orin would often lose himself on the quest for good, ignoring any form of negative consequence that is to follow. Orin would often find himself deep in thought, something that's stuck with him for a great deal of time now. Thinking of what
could be, rather than would can be. Thinking impossible scenarios for the sake of them 'sounding happier'. Left unchecked, and without a good slap to the face, Orin would begin to believe these impossible goals are possible, leading to a downward spiral of sadness. This idealism is what drives him to climb the tower, and something he turns back to whenever he begins feeling self-worth issues arise.

Rather recently, in Orin's mind at least, he's been a hard-working individual. Attempting to reach those impossibly high goals, one
has to be in order to have whatever inconceivably low chance it takes to achieve it. When spending time on this, he tends to be quite energetic, completely contradictory of the aforementioned introverted behaviour. Going all in on whatever goal is put in front of him both emotionally, and physically. Though...his rather silent when need be attitude often keeps him extremely far away from any high position. Opting for a 'helper' approach, rather than the leader alternative.

In terms of friendships, idle chatter and such, much has been implied already. He tends to enjoy a small, selective group of friends. Chiming in the background, giving out moral support and suggestions. Orin tends to be quite good at maintaining relationships, though at the same time he has a knack for distancing himself from others. Rather secretive in terms of his personal life and current feelings, Orin makes himself notoriously difficult to really know.

Despite all this, Orin regularly contradicts such attitudes and behaviours whenever with a group of friends, or confronting an enemy. When conversing or planning or anything with conversation other than small talk, Orin brightens up a little. Albeit, a
tiny smidgen. Throwing in some casual wit, or even a smile. When confronting an enemy on the other hand, Orin tightens and exaggerates his primary personality traits. Taking on a much more serious persona, coupled with a dash of mercilessness if need be.

BACKGROUND

Orin was never the strongest amongst his people, nor was he the smartest but...he wonders why him, out of everyone he knows was selected to climb the tower.

Orin was the product of a respectable Xebelian commander and a field medic within the 78th floor. In design, Orin would gain the amount of strength as his father, later taking his position once ready. Everything was planned out for him once Orin was born. His career, his friends, his education...Orin was set for an adequate if not
good life. That is, until many, many different factors popped up.

Xebel, home of the Xebelians, was a major military force on their floor. They were an underwater nation, hosting numerous environmental advantages against rivalling species. Throughout Xebelian history they haven't entirely been the best at keeping the peace, nor were they the best at making friends. In fact, nearly
all other species on the 78th floor are in war with the Xebelians. The humans, animal hybrids, intelligent animals, there were far too many enemy species to count.

Xebel never felt threatened, as were its citizens. Far too deep within the seas, Xebel was far too deep for other civilizations to strike. Thus, Xebel pooled all its defenses into
offenses, with a quarter of Xebel's citizens being enlisted into its military.

Politics surrounding Orin aside, he was quite the scrawny child growing up. He was often forgotten as a child. Getting lost in the seas upon
seas of people who were both physically and mentally superior to himself. The only thing he was known for, was being the son of one of the commanders and even that didn't get him to stick out. With someone else's achievements being the only inch of acknowledgement an individual had, most would feel pangs of insignificance, as if they have nothing to offer to the world. Truthfully, Orin felt that in the beginning. This social isolation, accompanied with the extremely few friends he had, was likely the cause of his initial introverted attitude to most. The first part of his life was pretty simple. Perform badly in training, brood for a little bit, take care of basic needs, ponder existence for a little more, and sleep. The cycle kept repeating, again and again until his dad sat Orin down for a "talk".

"...You know the story about Pem Qie? The guy who brought himself, and his community of people into the ocean with Shinsoo hundreds upon hundreds of years ago? Well, he was just like you when he was your age. Under-performing, weak, and no one believed in him. If you believe the tales, look at what he's accomplished! What I'm trying to say, Orin...is that if you work hard enough, you could be just like him in the future."

Orin was...unconvinced to say the least. It felt like it was a fabrication, a tactic to improve Orin's mood. Well...Orin didn't fall for it, and his unamused face towards his father said that
exact thing. His dad sighed, and stood up.

"C'mon. I'm taking you to the surface world to show you something."

This was a special occasion for numerous upon numerous reasons. One of which, is being that Orin would have to wait a great deal of years to be
permitted to such a place, if not never. Orin wasn't enthused, nor was he denying of such an offer. He simply followed his father to the shore, something would be a sort of regular occurrence in the future.

What Orin's dad was showing, it didn't matter. Showing him the surface world was all he needed to change his attitude. He felt...faster, stronger, he could see in lengths he could only dream of, it was almost like he was on the same level as the people his age. Grass... was
that what grass felt like? Was that would it felt like to breath pure air? It felt enlightening, as if he was about to be one of those crazy street preachers, preaching loud and hard about the current situation.

His father's call for attention was a reality check, making Orin realize something: any future time on the surface world would be for the sake of war. The aging man told Orin to watch his hand, and in an instant, a ball of water looked as if it
popped into existence.

"Me, your grandfather, your great-grandfather, further and further down the family tree all the way to Pem Qie possess this ability: creating water from Shinsoo currents. Chances are, you could have this ability too. Others can do this as well, badly must I say. Though on this floor, our family has the best handle on this ability. Chances are, you possess this ability as well. That, or you don't. It's really 50/50 because of your mother, the rest of us just got lucky."

Luck. Something Orin never had. Though he still tried. A new motivation, a new thing to feed his new desire to reach the top. So he trained with his father, every other day on the surface. Sometimes, they would even disguise as humans and visit the many towns and cities. It... it was nice. Despite all the mutual xenophobia, Orin liked being on the surface, he liked to feel the air brush past him, he...liked talking to humans. It made him wonder, what's the point of all this conflict?

Years past, and Orin produced his first baang of Shinsoo water. It felt great, like he actually
had something to be proud of. Something that would make him unique amongst the rest, until he got his second reality check.

Atop of his training with his father, Orin was qualified to train under a special corp of Xebelians. The ones who could form water out of Shinsoo. Turns out, there's such things as distant relatives. Even the most
distant of them to Orin had the genes of Pem Qie for heightened ability with Shinsoo water. Orin didn't even know half the people there. No, scratch that, he didn't know any of them there. But, even if it was from a common great-great-great-great-grandfather, they were all related some way or another. The same feeling of uselessness swept through Orin. He thought he was unique, but, there were 50 other people is age that're like him.

No, I'll do my best this time.

Orin wouldn't let all the time his father and himself invested in his abilities go to waste. He made it this far, and he wouldn't give up now. Not with someone wanting him to succeed. With all this, Orin trudged on with his training, until...an alien-like creature confronted him.

It was a normal day with his father when it happened. The sun was about to set, touching the horizon as it gave a warm glow to Orin's surroundings. His dad offered to take the two on a stroll through one of the towns. Perhaps, get a taste of whatever "chocolate" was. Orin nodded eagerly, it was something he wanted to do for quite a long time now. Everything seemed to be going swell, until, atop of a hill, in a bunker, or some other place, there was a glint. And then...

Bang!

A single second was all it took for Orin's future to change. In the beginning, he thought
he was the person who was shot. Blood was on his hands, shock filled his head, then he looked up. A clean shot to the head was the only thing Orin could see when he saw his dad. He was sure it was over at that point. Too late to run, too late to shoot back...he just wished all this pointless conflict was over. Then, another glint came, and Orin knew it was all over. So he closed his eyes, prepared for what was coming.

Another bang was heard, much more muffled than last time. As if, he was hearing it from a room somewhere else. Orin waited a few more seconds, with nothing happening. No pain, nothing. Was this what death felt like? Eyes were open again, and all he saw was a rabbit-eared creature behind a near transparent wall. In the confusion and the moment, Orin freaked, launching himself backwards while at the same time, shooting a blast of water at the guardian. All
that seemed to do was amuse Headon, a smile spreading across whatever body-part had his mouth and eyes.

"I don't normally arrive in such dangerous situations, but I think I just saved your life. Honestly, I'm sad for what you had to experience but if he didn't die he would've just gotten in the way of things. So I'm here to give you an offer. You could climb the tower, and gain the power to crush your enemies, endless riches, anything you wish. And if you don't well... I'll be off on my way then. Though please note, this Shinsoo barrier will disappear and that man up there will attempt to line the shot up again, if he didn't run scared from my appearance."

There was a pause from Orin. The rabbit-eared fellow could've come seconds earlier, and he could've ended this all. Instead, he chose to wait. Wait until tragedy struck, just so there was a higher chance for him to accept. Orin didn't want the power to eliminate everything around him. He just wanted everyone to stop with the wars, with peace as a main goal. But, at the same time, Orin so very wanted to crush Headon for standing idly. As much as he wanted to, he couldn't. He didn't have the power, so he accepted, taking his hand into the inner tower to start his journey.

CAPABILITIES

?REGULAR OR IRREGULAR?

Regular

?Abilities & Skills?

Xebelian Physiology - Orin possesses the biological makeup of the Xebelian race. Evolved long ago in order to completely sustain themselves within the depths of an ocean with no surface contact, a functional Xebelian should have a denser muscle structure and such. Otherwise, said individual would die of the pressure levels within the average Xebelian residence. In general, and as previously implied, a Xebelian's physical state tends to be on a higher level than a human, granting them:

- Enhanced strength

- Enhanced durability

- Enhanced stamina

- Enhanced speed

- Enhanced sight

Orin obviously possesses these abilities, however compared to his fellow colleagues and everyone else in his race, he pales in comparison. This often comes with a twist, for example Orin could be an excellent strategist or something of the sort, the only problem is he
isn't even lucky enough to have that.

Blade Operation - Though Orin's usage of blades and daggers would be average compared to other regulars climbing the tower, this is his main method of attack without exhausting himself too quickly with Shinsoo techniques.

Above-Average Shinsoo Resistance - Orin possesses an above-average Shinsoo resistance. Essentially, the grey area between "high" and "good". Living in a dense Shinsoo environment, it would make sense for his likeness to achieve such a resistance.

Swimmer - Living underwater, it'd be quite obvious for Orin to naturally be an excellent swimmer. Reaching speeds surpassing a human swimmer in peak human condition, Orin fares far better as a scout when submerged.

Shinsoo Manipulation - Regarding Shinsoo manipulation, he's considered average for his age amongst his family tree. From previous experience, Orin has been able to produce one baang. Similar to a Hwayeomsa or a Jeonsulsa, Orin possesses the ability to form water from Shinsoo currents. An ability linked to the man who discovered this ability to settle underwater with others, most of his ancestors possess this ability. There is no particular limit to the extent of this ability, as it's potential is directly linked to the user's ability with Shinsoo. The man who discovered the ability centuries ago was said to cause tsunamis with the flick of his hands, while Orin can only do the "small things".

Water Bullet Technique - The most commonly learned technique in a Shinsoo-using Xebelian's repertoire, the user utilizes aquatic Shinsoo to compress a drop of water atop of one of their fingers before shooting it with tremendous force and speed. To look more "badass", most users tend to mimic a gun with their hand, shooting the blast once their thumb touches the hand.

Devil's Mist - Orin's secondary escape tactic, he converts the Shinsoo around himself to form a thick fog, rendering any individual with no special eyesight temporarily blinded. This could only be sustained for roughly ten seconds, until he feels varying levels of fatigue dependent on his current status.

Orin Combination Technique - This isn't exactly a new technique, but rather Orin applying his skillset to maximum efficiency. Used as a last resort due to the Shinsoo demand, Orin first launches his "Cheap Shot" technique at the enemy. Whether it proved successful or not, Orin would envelope the surrounding area in a thick fog, disguising himself before sticking with his tanto. Two decisive cuts are given to the chest area, best case scenario. In the end, Orin would dispel the fog, going for a headshot with his "Water Bullet Technique".

Indomitable Will - Orin possesses a will that can't be broken. Either that, or he's simply stubborn. Taking things on an emotional level quickly, Orin tends to do anything for the sake of peace and/or harmony, never giving up until it's fulfilled. This, can often be contradicted by the actions he takes. However, in the end, it's all he wishes.

?Weapon?

Orin is in possession of a tanto. In appearance, it
looks like a miniature katana, and quite frankly that would be an extremely good explanation. Twice as small, it operates like a dagger, utilizing quick, decisive cuts rather than strong slices. Orin's tanto holds no special properties. It isn't a compression weapon, nor is it an ignition weapon. Similar to a normal sword, the practically of this weapon would be nearly gone on higher levels due to the high viscosity of Shinsoo, forcing Orin to discard the weapon once he reaches a high enough floor.

88BT-cold-steel-warrior-o-tanto-thumb.png

INABILITIES

?Tactical Inability?

Orin hasn't exactly read Sun Tzu's "Art of War". For most of his life, he's never had to create his own strategies, following someone else's coattails when it comes to making plans. This ultimately, makes him an excellent soldier which is something...climbing the tower doesn't need. Orin, at the moment, has nearly no tact at all, going through the same predictable moves when in battle unless told otherwise.

?Blade & Shinsoo Dependence?

Orin never passed "Hand-To-Hand Combat 101". Without his blade, and when enemies are unaffected by his Shinsoo, he holds no skill in using his fists. True, he could hit hard, but his moves are equivalent to a ten year-old sassy girl.

From previous experience, Orin has been able to produce three baangs.

Cheap Shot - As the name suggests, it's a cheap shot. A technique created by Orin himself, he forms a fist of water equivalating to one Baang, before shooting it at an opponent's abdomen. The impact, in Orin's current status, would wind most victims due to the blunt force. This tends to be used as an escape tactic, as this fulfills 1/3 of Orin's normal Baang output. Coupled with his tendency to use the water bullet technique, adding the shinsoo used would equal Orin nearly reaching his maximum.

Name: Ningor Frostnova

Age: 200 (mental age: 18)

Gender: male

Sexual Orientation: heterosexual

Q: Regular or Irregular? ->A: Regular

Species: Albion

Appearance:
fb1bb271b630ced82046f7afde0aba7a.jpg

476181.png~original

Personality: Ningor can come off as severe and somewhat indifferent, as he shows little emotion and doesn't speak much, unless the situation calls for it. He is a true warrior and continuously strives to perfect his sword skills. But he does have a soft side, especially for women, and can be a true gentleman if he wants to. He is also very calm and has outstanding self control, to the point where you never know what he's thinking, as he always maintains a straight face, even when he's joking or telling something that would make other people feel embarassed. While anger generally does not show on his face, one will feel it through his actions.

Position: Scout

Affiliation: neutral

Abilities and skills:
#Albion physiology- an albion's appearance is very similar to that of a human, except for their light blue scleras and white irises with no visible pupil. All of them have white, or gray hair, a small body frame and fair skin. On the other hand, while they bear a similar appearance, they have characteristics that differentiate them from humans:

  • Supernatural agility- with agility beyond that of a normal human, Ningor (like all the members of his species) can go from one motion to another extremely quick, effectively dodge many attacks, swing from things easily, sprint, do back-flips and numerous other gymnastic, athletic and martial implements with very little effort.
  • Night vision- the ability to see in low light conditions and even total darkness.
  • Enhanced cold resistance- albions can resist in extremely cold environments.
#Expert swordsman- Ningor displays great swordsmanship skills, wielding his sword fast and and with great precision. Most of his techniques involve swinging the sword in a perfect arc.
#Martial arts: soft technique- Ningor is very skilled in the art of using an attacker's force and momentum against him or her, by leading the attack(er) in a direction to where the defender (Ningor) will be advantageously positioned and the attacker off balance.
#Shinsoo detection- he can detect the Shinsoo that others use, in a wide area.
#Shinsoo manipulation (basic)- while not a prodigy, Ningor's skill in manipulating Shinsoo is not bad for an F-Rank Regular. He can make 1 Baang, but he mostly uses Shinsoo to enhance his jumping power, speed, and reflexes (at the same time), or simply enhance his grip strength (this helps him greatly with his sword techniques).

->[Good Shinsoo resistance]<-

Weapons:
kata08edit.jpg~original

^Ignition Weapon: Ghost Requiem (C-Rank weapon-> becomes B-Rank when ignited)- a beautiful katana with a bladed made from never-melting ice. While it is extremely sharp and light, it is way more frail than a normal sword, and if it is not swung properly (in a perfect arc), there is a very high chance for it to shatter. Once it ignites, it releases a wave of cold air which causes the temperature around Ningor to severely drop in the subzero range, while also freezing the object or living being that it cuts. Also, the ignition will repair the sword if it is broken.

History:
Albions were survivors. Even with their supernatural skills, they still needed to protect themselves from physically strong predators, within the cold, mountain area of the Outer Tower were they resided. While their thin frame didn't equal to low levels of strength, that didn't mean that their strength was extremely high either. While their muscles were pretty strong, despite being small, their lifting and striking strength were merely equal to average, or silghtly above average human levels, in most cases. For Albions to survive, they needed to make full use of their agility, fighting skills, and weapons. Every day was a fight for survival, but one of them enjoyed it. That someone was Ningor Frostnova.

Apart from fighting predators, every day was rather boring for Ningor. It revoled around waking up, training, eating, and sleeping. Fighting powerful foes was the only thing that satisfied Ningor, even as a youngster. He'd train hard and perpetually polish his skills for the sake of testing it against the predators that threatened the peace of his village. He'd even learn various soft techniques of martial arts and some Shinsoo manipulation, apart from swordsmanship. It was the only thing that lighted a fire within him. The other albions were grateful, but most were also afraid of him, so they kept their distance. Apart from his parents, the only one who would approach him was the village chief. The man also gave Ningor a present to show his gratitude: Ghost Requiem. Ningor was fascinated with the sword, and practiced hard so that he wouldn't shatter it and have to rely too many times on its ignited mode. And so, the young albion's happy days continued for a while.

Nothing lasts forever, not even hapiness, or excitement. After a few years the number of predators which attacked the village dropped by three quarters, and even those who still attempted to do so were easy to defeat for Ningor. At that point, his whole life was boring. He didn't dislike peace, but he was a warrior. He sought to polish his skills, discover his potential, unlock doors to new possibilities, but he couldn't do it from where he stood.

"Can someone out there free me from this cage of never ending boredom?" he didn't ask anyone in particular, and wasn't expecting an answer, but he did receive one. An answer from someone who found Ningor interesting. And that someone was the no one other than the bunny-eared caretaker of the Tower.

"Greetings Ningor, I am Headon, head of the Guardians of the Inner Tower. If you wish for excitement in your life, then I can offer it to you. Are you willing to face the challenges that may await?"

For such a question, Ningor had only one answer: "Yes!". And thus, after a short while, he was teleported to the 2nd Floor.

Yongsung Murin Zahard

Name: Murin Zahard.
weapon-manga-girl.jpg

Age: 626

Mental Age: 16-18

Gender: Female

Sexual Orientation: Heterosexual.

Q: Regular or Irregular? ->A: Regular.

Species : Princess. Formerly human.

Personality: Straightforward and blunt. Murin says things as she sees it and doesn’t hold anything back. Why would she have to bother with lies when she’s a princess? In that sense, she is a fairly honest person. Honorable as well. Murin would never attack an opponent while their back was turned. Nor would she betray those she’s made an alliance with. Acting in such an evil manner, giving up on one’s true self/friends to climb, resorting to trickery…all of that is a sign of weakness in her eyes. And Murin has unshakable confidence in herself and her own strength.

That doesn’t mean that she won’t acknowledge her own defeats. It simply means that giving up isn’t in her dictionary. Unlike most other princesses, Murin is hardworking and has a strong sense of duty. She’s also very determined about getting her way to the point where she can be described as prideful and stubborn. Murin is somewhat vain, in the sense that she judges things by their appearances. However, the trait that makes her stand out among the other princesses is Murin’s greediness. Even though she’s a princess, Murin is frugal with her spending and and a miser. She always seems to want more even though as a princess, Murin had already been given a large sum of wealth. This is due to Murin’s poor upbringing prior to receiving a portion of Zahard’s power. She haggles with shopkeepers, hoards her wealth, spends carefully, and always seems to be itching for more. Old habits are hard to get rid of.

Even after all the years of becoming a princess, she still finds it hard to call Zahard her father and the other princesses her sisters. While she is loyal to the Zahard Empire, she still considers the Yongsung Dojo to be her real home. She also dislikes Enryu and blames him for the misfortune of the Yongsung Family.

Positions: Fisherman(mainly), Defender(sometimes), Anima(after receiving the ‘Coil of the Dragon’ from her biological father)

Affiliation: Zahard Empire, though she is friends with a couple of Wolhaiksong members…including her sister Yuri Zahard.

Abilities and skills:

  • Martial Arts Master—Having trained at her father’s dojo in the 43rd floor since childhood, she eventually surpassed her father and became the master of the Yongsung dojo after inheriting the ‘Coil of the Dragon’. Her style of fighting bears similarities to Shaolin kung fu and incorporates lots of powerful kicks, punches, throws, and sweeps. Hand to hand combat is her forte, though she’s been known to use staffs and swords in combat as well.
  • Proficient swordsmanship—She experienced with wielding swords and has practiced using Spirit Fang, being able to ignite it a wield efficiently. She’s nowhere near close enough to be the best swordsmen in the tower, but having the strength of Zahard makes up for anything she lacks. She’s was also tutored by members of Arie family before entering the tower.
  • The blood of Zahard—After receiving a portion of Zarhard’s power, Murin gained immense physical capabilities and heals faster than a normal person. Normally fatal injuries don’t kill her. In addition, all the skills that she had before becoming a Princess were greatly enhanced. Her punches and kicks generate shockwaves.
  • Very high Shinsoo Resistance—It was already decent as a child, but after receiving the blood of the irregular Zahard…yeah. Let’s just say there’s a reason she’s been asked to be a defender.
  • Advanced Shinsoo manipulation—She mainly uses the flow control to reinforce her body. Murin can use it to strengthen/harden certain her muscles/skin/bones, speed her reactions, control her metabolism, and even enhance her senses. However, her shinsoo manipulation is such that she can also reinforce or weaken the bodies of others. By sending her shinsoo into them, via physical contact, she can disrupt the shinsoo flow of her targets, limit their movements, strength, and senses. Alternatively, Murin can enhance these physical qualities in her targets as well. The techniques she uses to do this are called Heaven’s Black Curse and Earth’s White Blessing respectively. They fall under branches of shinsoo techniques having to do with body manipulation taught in her dojo. Murin is excellent at reading and controlling the shinsoo within living bodies.
  • The Coil of the Dragon(tattoo on her arm)—A spell of domination that’s been passed down from her family for generations. Said to be a gift from the guardian of the 43rd floor to her ancestor before its death by the hands of Enryu, it gives her the ability to subjugate/charm all creatures that have a lesser willpower than her own. Essentially she can force her victims into a contest of dominance. She mostly uses it against Shinheuh, since they have less resistance against it, but theoretically the spell works on all sentient beings. However, should she use it on an opponent with a stronger willpower than her, the spell will reverse on her. It glows golden when activated.

Weapons (if any) +their capabilities:

  • Spirit Fang--> A fairly normal looking katana that was forged and refined by the soul of the Yongsung founder. It’s a D-rank weapon that becomes A-rank when ignited. The blade glows crimson and can cut souls, leaving the victim’s physical body undamaged.

History:

Born on the 43rd floor, the floor of death, Murin Yongsung’s life has known battle since childhood. Her family had existed in the 43rd floor long before the guardian’s death. The Yongsung Dojo had been famous back then. A place for Regulars and Rankers alike to learn the Yongsung Style of martial arts, train, discipline, themselves, and become stronger. The Masters of the Yongsung Dojo have always been Rankers, some even high Rankers, and the descendants of the Yongsung Family were respected for their fighting prowress. They’d been the chosen Rulers of the 43rd Floor. However, everything changed when Enryu arrived.

After the 43rd floor guardian’s death, the Yongsung name lost all of its notoriety and their right to rule vanished. The 43rd floor became a floor of death, a dangerous, "unlivable" area governed by its own rules. Members of family died trying to fight Enryu for the Zahard Empire with only a few survivors remaining to keep the dojo alive. They lost everything, their fame, their wealth, and their power. The Yongsung Dojo became forgotten over the years, as the occupants that had once lived in the 43rd floor left and its location sealed away to outsiders. The few that did come were criminals who wanted to exploit the area uncontrolled by Zahard or the few willing to give up their souls in return for becoming "immortal" and never leaving. The Dojo lost most of its disciples and became riddled with debt. No one in the Yongsung family had been chosen to enter the tower for centuries, there souls locked away in order to abide by the new "rules" of the floor and unable to leave. This was the world that Murin Yonsung was born to.

As the eldest child of her family, Murin was trained to eventually take over the Yongsung Dojo. The young girl proved to be a prodigy. Within a decade or so, Murin surpassed her father in skill, inheriting the Coil of the Dragon and the Spirit Fang and became head of the Yongsung family. She defeated all those who braved the Floor of Death and challenged their dojo. However, that wasn’t enough to rid the family of their debt and restore the Yongsung dojo to the way it was. So Murin decided that in order to help her family, she would have to discard her name and become a Princess of Zahard. Her father was against it. He told her if he wanted to leave, she would have to defeat him, reclaim her soul (becoming a fugitive of her own floor), and give up being the head of the family.

So she did. Murin joined the competition to become Princess a century later. It had been a cutthroat selection, especially when her opponents were girls of the 10 families, but with her determination and talent, she carved her way into the position. Thus Murin Yongsung received a portion of Zahard's strength and became Murin Zahard. With her new position, she was able rid her family’s debts and pave the way for the revival of the Yongsung Dojo. She enjoyed a life of luxury that she'd never experienced before. Even though she was no longer a Yongsung, and could no longer provide an heir to continue the line, her ascension brought fame to the Yongsung family.

But that wasn’t enough. Murin wanted to restore 43rd floor to the way it was. To return her family’s position as the Rulers of the 43rd floor, fix the area, and bring it back from isolation. And to do that she needed to become a Ranker. With the title of Princess, Ranker, and possibly a 13th month weapon, Murin was certain she could reclaim 43rd floor for the Zahard Empire. So when Murin was chosen to be regular by Headon, she climbed the tower with the goal of re-starting the 43rd floor tests (which her family used to be in charge of) and finding a new guardian.

She was last seen on the 80th as the strongest B-rank regular. Her next test won't start until another 5 years...so she's "training".

After Another Perspective
After doing her task for Evelyn, "meeting" Selicity Fars, and helping the Cat Sidhe out, Murin continues continues to climb the tower with her teammates. Currently she is on floor 87.

3581741ce9e6d103fc43070ae42634c9.jpg

Personality: Azalea is quite a handful. Mischievous and playful, she tends to do things her way most of the time, firmly beliving that if she is not caught in the act, she can do what she wants without worries. Even if she can be a rather cold person, she isn't exactly evil. She is merely a rebel, and while she does hate the conservatorism of the Zahard Empire, she isn't that fond of FUG either, as she merely joined due to certain circumstances. She really hates narrow-minded people, or those who wish to confine her within a cage, whether it is a real one or a metaphour. If angered, she displays a very cruel and sadistic side.

Position(s): Fisherman, Wave Controller

*High Ranker: 99th rank, Sobriquet: Scorpion Fish

Affiliation: FUG

Abilities and skills:

#Mithriad physiology- as a mithriad, Azalea's outer appearance isn't much different from that of a human, except for her black scleras. But she does have characteristics which make her different from humans:
  • Contaminant immunity- she , like the rest of her species, is immune to all poisons, toxins, venoms, viruses, bacteria, and allergens within the Tower, with the exception of fatigue toxins, to which she is merely resistant.
  • Enhanced physical condition- Azalea's body eliminates the excessive build-up of fatigue-producing poisons in her muscles and her musculature generates almost no fatigue toxins, granting her monstruous levels of stamina, exceptional endurance, and very high lung capacity. Not only that but her speed, endurance, and strength are outstanding, enabling her to fight toe-to-toe with almost anyone within the Tower in pure physical combat.
#Incredible combat skills- the reason she can fight almost anyone in close quarter combat isn't only because of her physical capabilities, but also because of her excellent fighting skills. She tends to use a lot of acrobacies and quick attacks, displaying a very elusive fighting style.
#Shinsoo manipulation (special)- Azalea's Sobriquet (Scorpion Fish) was given to her due to the fact that she can give poison properties to the Shinsoo that she uses. Of course, she can strenghten her body with Shinsoo, and use Reverse Flow Control, but that's just child's play for her. As stated before, her speciality is the unique ability to use poison-effect Shinsoo. That being said, she can make her Shinsoo take both a liquid and a gaseous form, and the poison itself varies in type, depending on what she desires to use it for. The color of her Shinsoo is light blue. She can control up to 50 Baangs (the total amount that she can create is unknown).
  • Techniques:
    • Neurotoxin Blade- she coats the blade of her dagger with potent poison. If one gets cut by the dagger in that state, they will experience limb numbness, headaches, and blurry vision for various amounts of time, depending on their Shinsoo resistance.
    • Death's Orchid- Azalea emits a highly toxic gas-type poison-effect Shinsoo on a very wide area. Inhailing the gas causes coughing, convulsions, lung damage, and eventually asphyxiation. The effects over time depend on the opponent's Shinsoo resistance. Shinsoo barriers can be used for protection against it.
    • Toxic Love- a technique which involves Azalea kissing her target. Once she does so, she emits gaseous poison-effect Shinsoo through her mouth which goes within her target's body. The victim will suffer halucinations and loss of balance for various amounts of time, depending on their Shinsoo resistance.
    • Skull of the Reaper- creates a skull made out of Shinsoo with gas engulfing it. It is very hard to destroy and it shoots highly corrosive acid from its mouth. Azalea mentally controls it.
    • Scorpion Stinger- she concentrates a lethal amount of poison in her nails, while also enforcing them with Shinsoo. The poison is so potent that it may even cause the blood to boil in weaker individuals.
    • Acid Rain- creates a gigantic sphere of Shinsoo and tosses it high into the air, where it becomes a cloud that generates acid-effect Shinsoo in the form of rain drops.
    • Fireworks Funeral- Azalea generates extremely powerful acid-type poison-effect Shinsoo blasts in all directions.
    • Corrosive Morpher- probably her most dangerous technique. Azalea generates a high amount of dangerously potent liquid-state poison around her. She can manipulate the shape of this liquid poison in a few ways, namely: using it as an armor, making it become multiple tendrils, giving it the shape of a creature, or simply dividing it into multiple spheres to launch at the target. It is incredibly corrosive and also causes paralysis, if one is hurt by it (the amount of time one remains paralyzed depends on their Shinsoo resistance).
->[Outstanding Shinsoo resistance]<-

Weapons:
#A dagger with a peculiar shape (as seen in the image above)- it is a normal, but very sharp and durable A-grade weapon. Azalea uses it for one of her techniques: Neurotoxin Blade.

History:
The mithriads are a species shred in mysteries. Their cities are structured like mazes, and they themselves are quite hard to read, or to understand. There was one particular mithriad which was a little different from the rest, and which caught the attention of Headon. Her name was Azalea Crimson, the simingly easy to understand mithriad. But with time the people of the inner Tower would find out that she was quite the mystery, and a handful. With her unique and potent Shinsoo skills, as well as her rebel nature, she was quite a handful, and most people didn't want to approach her. But some did. People from FUG.

Azalea wasn't particularly fond of FUG, but she joined because of her hatred for the Zahard Empire's methods and conservatorism. Sometimes she wished she didn't join. Eventually, things became rather boring for her.

On a certain occasion, she and some other FUG members were asked to test some new weapons, on one of the fastest species of the Tower: the accel-turtles. If the prototypes showed good results, they'd prove very useful and strengthen the power of FUG. At that time she already became a High Ranker, while the rest of the members of the squad were Rankers bellow the 90000th rank. Despite her instructuctions of not doing anything unnecessary, the other FUG members got carried away and killed the accel-turtles without mercy. While Azalea was a rather cold person, she did not agree with the way they did things. She was too late to stop them. The low-end Rankers already killed almost all of the accel-turtles, except one: Tok Stonebreaker. She at least wanted to save one of them, but to her surprise, Tok managed to dodge the blasts of the weapons due to reflexes rather than movement speed, and even when some of them managed to hit him, he still survived.

"Stop" she said on a cold tone, and every other FUG member froze from fear.

To her Tok was very impressive. If he trained he'd become a true force. At that point Azalea found deep disgust for both Zahard and even FUG. She was not a saint, but they went too far. Thus she belived Tok was valuable. His hatred and desire for revenge would help him become a real monster, and eventually fight to destroy FUG, while she fought to crush the Zahard Empire and weaken FUG from the inside. She approached Tok, but the accel turtle was dizzy and his vision blurry, so he couldn't distinguish her facial features.

"Come to the Tower, become stronger, and search for me someday. I'll be waiting" she said. Tok heard what she said, but he fainted before he could say anything. By the time he woke up, the woman already left.

Right now, Azalea is not assigned to any floor as an Administrator, Test Director, or Ruler, but she has a lot of money (courtesy of FUG) and travels around the Tower for various reasons.

[NAME]  Lionel Arie.
[AGE] 348 (19).
[GENDER] Male.
[ORIENTATION] Heterosexual.
[REGULAR // IRREGULAR?] Regular.
[POSITION] D-Class Wave Controller.
[AFFILIATION] Neutral.

Abilities, Techniques and Weaponry.

[Masterful Arie Swordsmanship]
Like most if not all children of the Arie family, Lionel learned the ways of the most famous and, for many, best sworsmanship style of the entirety of the known Tower, Being adept in this art, Lionel learned how to fight with a sword effectively and dangerously even in the very dense shinsoo of the upper floors, and also learned several basic techniques that make all Arie swordsmen forces to be reckoned with. Is it true there is no particular style or technique to counter this style? If there is, no-one lived to pass it on...

[Exceptional Shinsoo Manipulation]
In spite of his young age and little experience in the Tower, the blood that flows in his veins come directly from Arie Hon himself, so it's not surprising at all for Lionel to show an amazing talent in controlling shinsoo. Even moreso than his good, bit not astounding, skill with a sword, in fact, Lionel is among the best wave controllers of his rank and beyond, capable of controlling a maximum of 10 bangs of shinsoo, and with a very precise control to boot. He has shown to be capable to learn and even create new techniques in very short amounts of time, and is more than capable of using flow control and reverse flow control.

[Very High Shinsoo Resistance]

White Gibbous Moon. It's a Rank B Ignition Sword (A when ignited) from the Arie Treasury Lionel received from his mother when he left the floating castle to become a regular. It symbolizes the expectations and pride of his family, and Lionel sees it as a sign of his father's approval. It's capable of synergizing with the Arie style by manipulating the flow of shinsoo to magnify the force behind every slash. It can also project beams of energy at a distance and form a defensive shinsoo field to protect the wielder.

How would one define Jun Lun? She is a peculiar girl for sure, with a myriad of strange interests and even stranger mannerisms. She has an odd way of normalizing very odd happenings. Her way of speaking is calm and collected, but she will often refer to the strangest of things in very monotonous ways, making them appear normal. The reason for this is because Jun often has a hard time distinguishing what's normal from what's not; it's all the same in her eyes. Abnormalities are a part of normal life, so why then should they not be treated as normal? One could call Jun accepting in this regard, but most call her strange.

There is also something inherently amiss with Jun. Her smile is warm and her disposition is naturally welcoming, motherly even, despite this there is also something off putting about the way she often acts. One of the most chilling things about her is how she is always smiling. Alone it's hardly something to worry about, but it's what she does while smiling that is worrying.

Jun will never understand why she earned the name Sadist Queen, but anyone to step on her shoes knows very well why. Jun has a simplistic, if not barbaric, way of dealing with others. If someone or something bothers her, she eliminates it. After all, one does not ask the splinter in one's hand to politely leave. One discards the splinter, destroys it even, Jun believes the same approach can be applied to the living as well. So she easily and heartlessly discard anything or anyone to only become a pain to her. She doesn't do it out of malice or even because she enjoys it, but rather because it's the logical thing to do.

Abilities and skills
Star Light Phantasm: A special skill in which Jun can create a countless number of small Shinsoo projectiles that can posses a verity of properties. An individual Shinsoo bullet is hardly an effective way to dispatch a target as alone they do little damage. The strength of this skill comes in the sheer numbers that Jun can create and control; overwhelming the opposition. Jun can produce a few different types of bullets.

Straight Comet: Jun's basic bullet, it leaves a short trail and looks akin to a needle. It does the least amount of damage but moves the quickest.

Flashing Star: A slow moving bullet that looks like an orb of light. When the bullet makes contact with a tangible object it detonates, creating a small explosion little more then three times the size of the original orb.

Nebulous Tail: A hazy mist created from a multitude of microscopic bullets. The bullets themselves can not travel faster then a human can walk and quickly disperse after they move too far from Jun. However the bullets slowly melt most things that come into contact with them, making them most useful for defensive measures. Often form in tail like formations around Jun.

Solar Flare: Jun's most powerful and unstable bullet type thus far. They explode with great force upon impact, or when Jun wishes, allowing them to inflict a substantial amount of damage on their own. However the bullets are hard to control, often too slow to hit unless the opponent is caught off guard and Jun can only use so many before tiring out. Alone they are useless, but when paired with the other bullets they often decide victory or defeat.

Event Horizon: Jun's currently unstable trump card. To be implemented later.

Infinite Phantasmagoria: Unique skill to be developed later.

History
Jun's story is a simple one. She grew up in the Outer Tower, a simple city girl who was nothing more then another passing face. She enjoyed it, being a wallflower that is. The type of girl who was perfectly fine, being nothing but perfectly average. In this perfect little life that Jun led however she always felt one thing was off, she felt something was missing from her life and yet the one thing missing was the one thing she always had: the stars above.

Jun would always look to the sky with a deep longing, all she wanted was to be closer, to touch them, to keep them. The celestial bodies that eluded her never failed to incite the deep wonder within her as a child. Despite leading an ideal life, each time Jun looked to the sky she was filled with the need to be up there with the stars. This deep want never subsided, and in time only grew within Jun each time she saw the star lit sky. It was her only wish in life, just to get closer. But in this world, how would one obtain their wishes?

By climbing a tower, of course.

Jun had heard though the grape vine that by climbing the tower one could obtain their dreams, whatever they may be. So now Jun had a goal, to climb the tower and to shine with the stars. But the only question that remained was how to start climbing the tower. After gathering a bit more information she leaned only those worthy may enter the tower, however Jun didn't quite know what it meant to be worthy. Rather then worry about that however she worried more about learning the skills needed to climb. It took many years but she learned about the tests, she learned about Shinsoo, and to what magnitude it's used in the Tower, she was even told about the potential pain that may await. After learning everything she could, as limited as it was, Jun got to work.

She worked with Shinsoo control, combat training, puzzle solving and the works. What followed was long and arduous years that yielded minimal results, yet Jun kept trying. Year after year she would push herself. Her body had met it's physical limit early on but her Shinsoo control seemed to improve at a greater rate. So Jun began to focus on just Shinsoo. Without truly proper training her progress was slow coming, however just seeing that small amount of progress was enough to keep Jun going. With unyielding persistence she devoted herself fully to realizing her dream. After many years of work and struggle, her efforts were rewarded. The care taker of the Tower came before her one day, and asked her the question that had been answered so long ago.

"Would you like to climb?"
