Expedient Blocking: If Lenneth's speed is higher than her opponent's, then her shields gain weapon advantage.

Location: The wedding, up on the stage

w/ Hayate @theunderwolf

Lenneth was basically a doll the entire time, easily malleable by both Hayate and the servants; she never struggled with anything they had her do, or put on, offering no such resistance. When it was all said and done, she looked radiant, with tasteful makeup, but definite makeup, befitting a Princess on her wedding day. An overly extravagant, beautiful dress, that glittered like the moonlight, it was far more restrictive than Hayate's, but at least it wasn't the initial dress that the maids had brought in, something that would've restricted all movement, under the guise of fashion. She teetered atop heels, unlike Hayate's flats, but that was not a huge issue, Lenneth's boots normally were heeled, so she was used to them.

Hayate seemed to dictate a lot of what went on -though, obviously, not everything, she wasn't exactly a 'Valkyrie', just yet-, and Lenneth couldn't help, but be utterly amused. After, they were both finally ready, smelling like walking gardens, she leaned over, and gently whispered, "S-sorry, h-hunny..." She knew Hayate was not exactly used to this whole palace-princess life. She'd probably get used to it soon enough, however.

With a giggle, they finally left, heading out towards the place, where the ceremony would take place.

...(for interest of time... and because Im not great with this sorta thing... lol, *skips some*...)...

Lenneth stood up on a pedestal, shinning like a white beacon of purity, even in that opulent city of Valken's capitol. The stage for the wedding between the princess and her bride, was raised, elevated so the surrounding masses could see. It was taking place outside, just beyond the Main Doors leading right into Castle Valken, but within the Main Gates, in the open, glorious courtyard. Lenneth had already taken her walk, and had managed to do it perfectly, a walk that left a majority of the crowd stunned. (Even, Freya had been impressed with Lenneth's poise). Speaking of which, all of the royal family was present. They stood the closest, and were basically looped around Lenneth, and Hayate, watching onward. From Freya, standing there with her head held high, a wide smile of pride on her face, to the small Vava, floating in a glaze of pink energy, a book in her hand, opened to whatever page, looking disinterested, to a few of the other members of the Valkyrie line. The Queen, nor the King was present, though; that aroused some suspicious chatter, confused to why the King and Queen would not attend their own daughter's wedding.

Anyway, the wedding was underway, and was about to conclude, for the most part, things were said up on the podium, between the glowing, magical Gyoja, and a few others. Now, Lenneth, clasping the hands of her beloved, smiled into Hayate's eyes. Redness matched the rouge on her cheeks. Opening her colored lips to speak, her voice was carried, because she wanted all to hear, but it still held that certain Lenneth-charm of being extremely formal, light, and dainty. Her inner self just couldn't change that easily, "Hayate... I.. I never thought anything like this would ever happen. I became a Guard, to pr-protect my friends, family, my kingdom. I never dreamed that I'd find another path in my life... A path, with you. I love you, Hayate. With all my heart."

It was so sweet, her airy, light voice could melt even the harsh, spoiled, miserly hearts of the masses. In Valken, it was unwritten, that anything was truly possible, that one's goals, aspirations, and dreams were never too high to accomplish. If a man wanted to marry another man, that was possible. If, a woman wanted a woman as her wife, then that, too, was possible. That's just how Valken worked. However, there were certain things that were just beneath the skin. Though, Valken expressed acceptance and preached 'follow your heart', on the surface. Anything, like that was rarely upheld. Most followed in the same traditional path that had been laid out of generations, blinded by the easy life placed before them. Things, like a woman marrying a woman (or a princess marrying a woman, for that matter) were extremely rare, and quite out of the ordinary. Despite, being widely 'acceptable'. Valken was hypocritical like that. It was hypocritical in a lot of facets of life. None, of which people -normal Valken residents- wanted to ever bring up. Speaking of things that tarnished Valken name was deplorable to its people, who lived in lavish, selfish lifestyles, bathing in splendor and squandered riches. Anything, that threatened that, was largely regarded with disdain. A princess marrying a woman? Was far from expectation, and even though, there was a huge crowd to witness such an event, most had only shown up to look on in disgust. Yet, Lenneth's sincere words, spoken calmly, and with conviction, made more than a few question themselves.

It didn't last long, however, and just as Lenneth was about to gather the courage to lean in and kiss Hayate, screams of panic rang out, drawing the attention of all. People began to run away, spreading out like ants. Some guards fell over, collapsing in pools of blood. At the gates, spreading outward, to encircle the proceedings, and the citizenry of Valken, that were there, was a band of Outlanders. How, they had managed to get in? Weakened defenses due to a wedding.

Now, they were looking to destroy some of Valken. Whatever they could. Starting with a princess, and her bride.

location: in the crowd, watching the wedding w/ Wags

Shy snickered at her companion's words. Sure. Yeah, right. "You can try to take my favorite bow," she warned. A warning from Shy was to be severely respected, the woman did not mess around. "Ugh. Wags, do you think *I* like doing it? No, of course not. But right now, it's imperative that we do. We need to speak with Lenneth further, we need to agree on something -anything! Outlander life depends on it. So, yes, suck it up wolfy, and do your duty." Her words were stern, harsh even, but not without coming from a place of love. Shy adored her people, and Wags was a close friend of hers. She had always tried to mold Wags into a shadow of herself. Another General that could be followed. A woman that would lead Outlanders with respect and love. In some ways, Shy saw a bit of herself in Skadi, but that darn Lokir nature.. was hard to get through.

Shy followed her companion's indication, and spotted the dressy shop. A grin spread across her lips. "Good eye! Yep, don a hat, and let's go!" She stated simply, landing on the ground in front of the place.

...

A short while later, Shy was somewhere within the throngs of people regarding the wedding before them. She sported a new dress of her own, and looked far far different than normal. Though, she didn't look exactly like other ladies, especially the richest, prissiest of Valken women, that were attending there. It was quite obvious that Shy was not used to wearing such a garment. Or really, any garments of any sort. She stood there, beside Wags (presumably), feeling extremely uncomfortable. Her height, also was an issue, and she could just barely see passed some people. Or really, she couldn't see passed them at all, but was attempting to. Despite, how obvious she was, no one really paid her any attention, far too focused on Lenneth, her bride, and the wedding at hand.

Just, as it was about to end -or so Shy thought- a commotion stirred up, that drew her attention. To her shock, and utter dismay, she saw Outlanders filter in, killing simple guards around, and threatening many of the Valken rich who were there. Shy sympathized with them, standing in that crowd of wasteful people, she, too, struggled with wanting to go on some sort of murderous rampage. These people stood for everything she stood against, but it was neither the time, nor the place. And honestly, Shy was not really one for killing innocent lives. (Heh. 'Innocent' lives. Wow, had she changed. Was that Lenneth's doing?) Regardless, she stood staring in disbelief, recognizing this particular band of Outlanders.

They were her own. A band, that she and Skadi had come to the city with. Except, they had been ordered to stay behind, hiding within the nearby forest. It seemed they had other plans. She listened, as they announced loudly, that they were there to stop this wedding. That they were going to kill Lenneth, and anyone else they could.

"Why should we allow Valken royalty to flourish, when we struggle? There are some of us, that support this action. Those people are no longer our allies. Anything, that goes on with Valken, is against Outlanders! Why should we allow a princess -any princess of Valken, to fulfill her dreams? We shouldn't! Let's cut this head off of Valken scum, once and for all! Heh, a wedding just makes it easier for us."

Shy, wondered where the security was. Certainly, a wedding of this caliber would have heightened security? Her eyes scanned the ramparts of the walls. Various Archers, and Shielders, and Knights that she had spotted before were missing. Perhaps, she had trained her Outlanders, too well. They had efficiently taken care of a great number of targets. Without being seen, or heard.

Impressive.

Shy shook her head. No! This was not the way! Even, if they managed to accomplish something here, Freya would still march down with the largest force Valken could muster, to wipe out the rest of the Outlanders! This battle -if won- was just one. It would not help win the war.

This attack was fruitless, and stupid. They had managed to scare the people of Valken, but Freya and the rest of the Valkyrie Royal line was here. What hope did her smallish band of Outlanders have? They had just written their own death sentences. She cursed in her mind, watching, trying to think of what to do. Stupid, stupid, stupid! Damn, stupid idiots!

Coin stood just a bit aways, probably enough that the man thought his whispering could not be heard. Oh, she heard it alright, the blonde had trained herself to listen to discreet conversations. She pushed forward, interjecting her presence, and words. "Oh, good sir, not a 'thief'! An 'opportunist'! I would never dream of stealing anything! I assure you! That's left for those unscrupulous riffraff of Outlanders that scurry in their holes out in the wastes beyond our beautiful kingdom! I would never imagine of sullying my hands, or tarnishing the great Sarlatan name! No! I could not bear being a thief! It would do too much harm to my very soul and heart! Please, you must believe me, kind sir!"

Her eyes found the other boy's who seemed more her age. The man had basically paired her up with him. He was the least interesting of the people she had met. That was for sure. If there was a 'low class' in Valken, he would be it. It was obvious, that was on purpose though, because of his obvious humble upbringing in the Valken military. He was only not rich for now, but give his training a few more years, and he'd be set for life in Valken's military. She supposed, in that way, he was at least somewhat interesting.

"Heh, alright," Coin stated, with a flat shrug. "Let's go!"

..

Coin had been escorted to the wedding, with her 'date' this Bishop boy. Her blue eyes were taking it all in. The royalty had gone all out. The courtyard sparkled with gemstones she had never even seen before. If anyone could truly agree with the Outlanders, when they said Valken squandered their riches, and just tossed them about like common stones, then this particular event would be a pretty good argument for the Outlander side. If she just kicked her foot, she'd loose a beautiful, polished stone of gem. The entire place was coated! How'd they even manage this? Coin's mouth watered. She couldn't wait to...

'Opportunely' 'acquire' some of the beauty and riches that were so generously placed about.

Her daydreaming, and sparkling eyes blinked, when screams rang out. Turning her head, Coin observed what was going on. To no one's surprise. Or at least, no one who was smart, some Outlanders showed up. Boy, they were quite tenacious, weren't they? Learning of the wedding. Then managing to worm their way into the capitol. Regardless, of any defenses in place. This... could prove to be an even more fortutious situation.. In the chaos, Coin to work indiscriminately... A grin spread across her face, while she waited, patiently.

Jackson had received an invitation to the wedding to attend with his parents of course. They beamed when they had seen Jackson in full noble attire, but they had frowned upon seeing him carry his Killing edge. His response? "You can never be too careful if someone decides to attack a gathering." Of course, being a noble, you wouldn't expect a noble to carry a blade at all times. At the ceremony sitting next to his father, he did notice a few glances over in his direction both for his looks and the sword he carried, but he paid no attention to them. He leaned back in the bench as he watched the proceedings, the princess and her bride made a good couple. However, this happy moment was cut short by the clattering of gates and the spilling of guards as well as the circling of, Outlanders? He shook his head at the guards and applauded his earlier decision to carry his sword, but he did not draw it just yet. He looked to his parents, and his father nodded before, surprisingly, drawing a sword from within his clothes. ~Like father, like son I suppose.~ Confident that his father, combined with his uncle, could protect themselves and his mother, he raced towards the stage before any of the outlanders could make a move on the princess.

'Thanks Xerxes,' Bishop thought sarcastically as he walked with three blond girl. He was a little anxious to go to the wedding since they are usually reserved for the higher classes. Still today had been odd, which Skadi and that other girl appearing earlier, and she even downright said that they were on different sides... Though, if the Outlanders had any decency then they would let the people of this city have a good time at this wedding...

Or so he thought

It wasn't until the screams that Bishop actually realized what was going on. A group of Outlanders had arrived at the wedding, ready to slaughter the newlyweds. Bishop tighten the grip on his lance, which he had been using a walking stick for the majority of the day. He then turned to the girl, "you should get out of here," he ordered, which felt a little weird but the citizens shouldn't get caught up in this commotion. And after saying that Bishop made his way through the crowd, telling everyone that they should evacuate. While Bishop was trying to keep on a brave face, he was still terrified. This was Bishop's first actual battle, even if the Outlanders were horribly outnumbered.

Captain Xerxes - 'The Bear'

images-24.jpg

Xerxes searched the crowd many times over as he made his way through the sea of citizens, scanning them for the odd blue hair. The ceremony was in progress as he did this, but Xerxes could not afford to be distracted. His efforts were not fruitless however; he spotted the blue locks and the person they belonged to standing next to a strange looking woman, and they were both in formal attire. Xerxes raised an eyebrow at this; it was strange to see Bluebird like this, but he had to admit; she did look rather pretty...

He snapped himself out of his own thoughts and scolded himself; he couldn't be thinking about things like that, especially when it was the enemy! He started towards the pair when a scream rang out and he turned to see a group of warriors approaching, cleaving through anyone who was unlucky enough to be near them. Acting quickly as the crowd began to panic, Xerxes called to the small amount of Knights who were in combat with them as he drew his Steel Sword.

"Rally to me, men! Form a line and let no one through! Anyone with ranged weapons get behind them!"

The Knights turned to the Captain and nodded as they all moved back together and formed a line in the street, lances outstretched as they kept the warriors at bay while others began hurling javelins at them. The crowd began to panic, and Xerxes pointed his sword to the empty street past the podium where the two brides were at.

"Everyone head to the Upper Ring! All guardsmen to me! We must rout these invaders!"

He spotted Bishop in the crowd and pointed at him with his sword, then back to the empty street to the second level.

"Drake, get these civvies out of here! Keep them safe! I'll send some men after you shortly!"

That was when his eyes fell back upon the blue hair, and a fury filled him. Gripping his sword tightly, he charged at Bluebird with a yell, keeping his shield up defensively.

"You're not going anywhere! You heathens aren't going to a lay a finger on the princess!"

And as soon as he got close, he swung downward in a mighty arc at her.

then confronted by Xerxes @The Lord of Sunlight

Shy felt people pushing by her. A few bumped harshly into her. Her height was probably a major reason for this. At a measly 5'2'' the Outlander General was not exactly noticed; especially, with a panicked crowd, with most people -even most of the women- being taller than her. She wondered if Wags was buffeted by such annoying bystanders. Finally, she found herself rather alone, standing somewhere near her companion.

Overhearing shouts, Shy looked up. The cerulean haired woman recognized such shouts. Valken military getting to work, already taking up positions, and defending the place properly. Something, that Shy had only started teaching the Outlanders before she had left a few years ago. At least, the other Outlander Generals had taken up her slack, when she was gone. Or she presumed. Still, this was pretty well thought out, and even though her Outlander band had taken out some key targets, there were still quite a few guards, knights, and other various units filtering out, taking up defensive positions. From her spot, she watched some attacks between the two groups initiate. To her surprise, the Outlanders managed to cut down some more Valken units. For a split second, she wondered if they could actually win a fight like this. That thought was short lived, because no, of course they couldn't. This was a suicide attack. How freaking stupid could you be?

All the sudden, a man was rushing her, his sword extended in his hand. To her surprise, he swiped down at her. Deftly, Shy dodged, but found herself stumbling in the restrictive dress she was donning. She felt against her leg, where her dirk was hidden, her only weapon currently. There was no way she could carry bows into this place, without anyone noticing. Or at least, she would have thought as much before, until an entire band of Outlanders had shown up, nearly unimpeded.

"What the hell?" Shy shouted at the man. She tried to play off being actually Valken. How did Valken ladies speak? Probably, not by prefacing their words by a curse. Well, too late now. "G-good sir," she began. Lenneth said that, often, right? "Wh-why are you attacking me? Th-the enemy.. it is that way, yes? D-defend.. a.. a.. " she found her voice catching in her throat. "A l-lady."

Coin blinked, and turned to her redheaded escort.

"you should get out of here,"

His words were meant to be kind, and defensive, clearly he was going to protect the citizenry. Clearly, he took his job seriously. It was pretty apparent to her that he was just in training, and was not confident at all. Even, his voice had a certain shake to it. He might not have meant it to come out that way, but she had heard it. His kindness was wasted on the blonde girl. Yet, she gifted him a smile, and nodded once. "Can do," she replied simply, watching him move away. Geez, sometimes Coin's luck was scary good. He departed her side, and disappeared into the screaming crowd. The fact that people were dying was not lost on her, but she didn't really fear for her life; Coin could defend herself if it came down to it.

"Time to get to work," she purred, slipping into the throngs of people, ready to leave with some new heavy pockets.

Jackson had made it near where the princess and Hayate were standing, but he didn't see any other guards around. Either that or they were busy or he didn't see them. It was a good thing that he managed to get there because while it might have seemed that the outlanders were occupied, one of them was lucky and broke through. Perhaps he wasn't all that lucky as Jackson held his killing edge in both hands waiting for him to make a stupid error. A stupid error did indeed happen as Jackson saw his attack coming and sighed before punching the outlander in the face and returning his hand to the grip of the sword. The outlander staggered a bit, but Jackson started his attack as his blade started to glow blue(Will-O-Wisp). He held the blade up and spoke, "Time for you to cut and run;" Jackson swung true and his sword found a temporary home in the outlander's chest before he withdrew the blade causing the outlander to fall to the ground. Quickly turning to the duo behind him he spoke quickly, "Are you two ok?"

It didn't take long for the remaining Valken soldiers to gather into a defensive possition, but Bishop continued to evacuate the citizens. Captain Xerxes called out to Bishop, saying that he should get the civilians out, "Yes sir!" He yelled back before turning to the sea of civilians.

"Everyone please stay calm! Evacuate out that wa-" Bishop was saying until he caught something in the corner of his eye. An Outlander holding an axe was making a straight path twords Bishop. The young Guard knew that he was at a disadvantage, and he knew that this was his first real engagement with the enemy, but he will try his best to by time for the citizens to escape.

The Outlander was getting closer, too close for Bishop to effectively use his lance. So he back pedaled before making a huge mistake. Instead of taking the time to get some good footing he decided to attack while retreating. The Outlander used the heavy weight if the axe to parry away Bishop's lance, and the guard then tripped over his own foot. Leaving him vulnerable on the ground. The attacker went in for the finishing blow, but luckily for Bishop he used the shaft of the lance to block the attack, saving his life. The axe head dug into the woods, but it didn't go all the way through so Bishop threw up his foot to kick the attacker in his hands. Causing him to lose his grip, and with the momentum the Axe became free from Bishop's lance to skid it's way across the ground. Leaving the Outlander unarmed.

With one swift move Bishop spun around his lance to cut the attacker, living a diagonal gash across his chest, then the redheaded pushed himself off of the ground to swing the blunt end directly into his opponents temple. And just like that the men fell to the ground, where Bishop wasn't sure if he was alive or not.

Without getting another chance to rest another Outlander attacked, he was equipped similarly to the previous one. Except this time he took Bishop by surprise. Where Bishop couldn't see his attacker his body seemingly jumped away from most of the attack, as if it just moved on its own. The tip of the axe head clipped Bishop's arm, leaving a small gash that started to bleed instantly, if he didn't move then the axe would have ripped straight through his arm. Once again Bishop prepared himself for yet another fight.

Xerxes' sword met the ground with a loud clang, and he looked up at Bluebird with fire in his eyes. He pointed his sword at her with an angry glare.

"Don't play dumb, Bluebird. I'd never forget the person who slaughtered good men in cold blood. Especially one who nearly killed me as well. How's your leg, by the way?"

He motioned towards her leg, the one he slashed during their clash. He assumed a defensive stance, keeping his shield up and his sword on top of it, the tip pointed straight at her.

"Call your men off and surrender, and your head can stay on its shoulders."

His glare never left his face as he stared her down.

Shy narrowed her eyes at him. Her current getup was definitely not one meant for combat. She was used to moving unrestricted, entirely. Not feeling like she was encaged by her own garment. What was this man's problem anyway? Why was he after her? She didn't even have a weapon out! Her hand was gripping her dirk under the poofy dress, but still. That was mostly a precaution. She didn't really have any intention to use it.

Though, thinking on it now, perhaps she should? Would anyone notice if she killed a Valken military man? It probably just would've been chalked up to some random Outlander killing him. Besides, she didn't really have any issues with killing Valken personnel, anyway. So what was holding her back?

When, he mentioned her leg, she glanced just barely down at it; it had long since healed, given magical treatment by some unit with a stave. Not a big deal. She also didn't particularly remember that engagement, but if he had managed to score a hit on her, then perhaps he wasn't so incompetent. A grin spread across her face, thinking about it. "Look, I'm not in charge right now. It pains me to admit, sure. But that squad of Outlanders are acting on their own.. the friggin fools. They're gunna die here today. They should've just waited back in the forest, like I had ordered." She shrugged. "Guess not, and here they are. I assure you, though, I have nothing to do with this! Coin was busy rifling through various knickknacks and such things. More than one purse of a fallen, or escaped noble woman had found its way into her hands. She deftly avoided many skirmishes with the various crazy Outlanders. They acted like wild animals, she noticed, indiscriminately attacking whoever they could, with no care for the consequences. Twice she had seen them strike out a noble, only to be beheaded by the fighter they weren't watching, or gutted by the knight behind them. She had even sliced a few new 'bellybuttons' into a couple. Though, their corpses always left her disappointed. Sheesh, it was like Outlanders owning nothing of value! Who woulda thought?

Just then, she stabbed her sword down through one, and watched as his lifeless body slid off her shiny, now-reddened blade. Standing there, sword in hand, dripping, she snickered at the boy before her. A guy she had managed to rescue. With a wink, she spoke up, "Hey, Red. Havin' a bit o' trouble?"

Bishop wasn't exactly sure if he was going to make it out of this. The wound on his forearm was severely decreasing the mobility in his right arm, Bishop hasn't delta this kind of pain before, but he wasn't going to let it keep him out of this battle. Something unexpected happened when the Outlander stopped, before a sword erupted from his chest. The body slid off the blade and fell to the ground, revealing Bishop's Savior.

"Hey, Red. Havin' a bit o' trouble?"

The voice belonged to the blond girl from before. Surely he should have realized that she was armed with a sword, well... he was kind of lost in his thought on their way to the wedding. Anyways Bishop was glad that she came back, "Y-Yes, thank you," he said, taking a second to catch his breath and calm his nerves. And at the same time he kept one hand over his wound, just to slow down the bleeding. It seemed that most of the civilians had escaped which was good. And Valken's troops were making quick work of the Outlanders...

Bishop's eyes scanned the battlefield until they spotted Captain Xerxes and the blue haired girl. Wait, why were they fighting? The blue haired woman seemed to be friends with Lenneth, and Bishop suspected that she was an Outlander. Though she could be tricking the Princess, so Bishop decided to leave it to his Captain. Before Bishop could do anything he looked over to the girl, "thank you for saving me, I owe you my life," he told her, it was the noble thing to do when someone save your life. Once again Bishop tried to raise his lance, but his main arm was too weak, but that still didn't break his will to fight. So he used his left hand, even though it made him utterly useless onot the battlefield.

Coin was swiftly wiping off the sticky, viscous red liquid from her uniquely designed and colored blade. Her Gilded Sword. Maintaining it, and upkeeping its shine, and eternal glory was something she prided herself on. There was no way she'd merely let the durability of such a finely crafted blade diminish, and lower the sword's worth. Especially, not for some silly brigand Outlander, or whatever that was she had just killed.

Sheathing her sword, Coin adjusted her cap, and brushed some of her blonde hair. She was a girl that loved to keep up appearances. Anything pretty was a high priority in her mind. Including herself. Like she had figured, he was thanking her, then, out of the blue, she heard a string of remarkable words...

"Thank you for saving me, I owe you my life,"

Piquing her interest, a unique look crossed her face. Turning to him, Coin responded, with a sly, grin, and a charming, "Oh, really now? You 'owe me your life'? That's what you said, right?" She found herself looking up and to the left, deep in thought, her lips curled upward. "Hm? You don't say?..." Now, just what could she do with someone that owed their life to her? She could think up several things. With a soft chuckle, she addressed him again, "If that's the case, then Red, you and I are going to be great friends! I can just feel it!"

The blonde girl noticed him fidgeting, struggling with a bleeding injury. "Ah! Here, got something fer that Red." Digging around in her pack, she managed to pull out an Elixir. Before handing it to him, she pulled it back. Only a bit, though, with the intention to end up giving it to him. She just had a small little caveat/warning to get through. "Ah! This is expensive, don't forget that. These healing items are not those common vulneraries, or herbs that the Outlanders spread across their wounds, like wild animals. This is the real deal. A pure Elixir, that fully restores even the most grievous of wounds. Here."

Hayate

The ceremony was all she could've ever dreamed of. The crowds the dresses the priest it was all just so beautiful! And well her wife was both more then she could have dreamed and so much more than beautiful. Lenneth was just perfect in every way and Hayate couldn't rip her eyes away. Her speech turned Hayate redder then an apple, "I can't beat that love," She said quietly," All I can say is that you should get ready for the happiest life you could ever- OH COME ON>" She ended yelling at the encroaching outlanders. She growled in anger, sighed and leaned Lenneth back into a quick but romantic kiss pulled her to her feet and walked away from the altar. This wasn't Shy, Hayate grasped instantly So a rogue faction? This was something she probably should have shared. She walked calmly past the quickly formin circle of guardsman and watched as an outlander charged her. On the other hand, the only thing that could improve my wedding is some stress relief. So maybe I should thank them. Calmly she watched the approaching man then when he was within arms reach her arm flicked out instantly, slamming her palm into his face and catching him in the air. Then without a moment's hesitation she slammed his head into the ground with a dull crack. "Dorel," She said calmly, standing up, "My spear please." Eagerly the butler scuttled up to her and handed off her weapon which she took gladly. "Please fetch Lenneth some fighting shoes and a change of clothes." She requested then began to walk back to the circle of guards as the butler ran off. Calmly Hayate waded through the melee and dodged every stroke that came at her until she was behind the line again. "I believe we'll be fine," She said to the kind nobleman then turned to Lenneth, "Kinda reminds me of how we met love! Shall we make our way to our suite?"

Skadi

Skadi loathed ceremonies of any kind. She also hated hats of any kind. But the food was good she had to admit. She stood beside Shy uncomfortably munching on a massive plate of tiny entrees, wearing a very tacky hat. She attracted a few glares but someone actually said she was very fashion forward. Which was apparently good. Which was bad. Blugh confusing. Skadi didn't do confusing. So when the outlanders attacked she almost breathed a sigh of relief. Something interesting at last. Quietly though she waited for Shy's word as the quite protective captain jumped to her aid. She sniggered as she finished off her plate and threw it over her shoulder. "I'd listen to her if I were you," She said to the captain, "She ain't the one with the sword in her hands here."

Lenneth stood there, listening to Hayate for a moment. A small smile on her face. She didn't say those things to be impressive. They were just what the young woman felt, and thought. Her affection was interrupted, but the other woman's was not, and she felt herself leaned back, when suddenly her wife quickly kissed her. Causing, Lenneth to blush quite deeply, and feel weak in her knees. Such, an intimate action, revealed publicly, and with such affirmation. The confidence of her beloved, made Lenneth weak.

Had anyone noticed? The Gyoja there did, as well as Freya, who was happy that many of the military were already dealing with these riffraff that had unwantingly interrupted a beautiful affair; her younger sister's wedding. She would not forgive it. Still, she was hanging a bit back. It was not like a General (for Freya was more or less a General) of her position to rush head-first into battle. Sure, the General Archer of the Outlanders was known for that, but the Outlanders were primitive. Savages. Their tactics -such as this stunt- were all over the place. Both unpredictable, as well as predictable. They could always be counted on to make asinine, stupid decisions. Decisions that would ultimately lead to their downfall in this war. Decisions like sending their Generals into the forefront of battles. Decisions like attacking a well-armed, very-much fortified defensive position, filled to the brim with Valken ready. They would be easily crushed. Freya could taste their defeat. She began to command from her position, delegating orders here and there, that the other captains were not giving. The place was a madhouse, with some civilians dead, but a lot having given escorts; escaping with their lives. Many Outlanders were rushing through some of the defensive positions, but it was no matter, they proved little threat, over all.

Lenneth, grabbing her long dress, rushed after Hayate herrr -wife?-; were they married, yet? She lightly laughed, "Hayate, I'm fine. I can fight like this." There was really no need for any such orders. Her boots usually were heeled, not as flimsy, but yeah, this was already gone over. Okay, she usually fought in armor, not a poofy, lavish wedding dress, but, oh well. It wasn't like she could change in the middle of a battle. The thought of that made her giggle with amusement. Then, she heard the suggestion of returning to their suite. With a small smile, she reminded Hayate, "The after party..."

An Outlander had managed to get close enough to them to swing his sword. Lenneth swiftly tossed a circular, edged ring. The chakram cut him, and he fell down with a thud, instantly felled. Except, she had not killed him, just subdued him in a swift fashion. She might have been a blushing bride on her wedding day, not dressed for the occasion of battle, and dressed for the occasion of marriage, but she was still quite capable. The small Chakram she wielded were easy weapons in this full-on brawl. She did feel a bit naked without her Greatshield. At this point, though, Lenneth was much more confident in combat, and knew she didn't always have to rely on the massive slab of protective steel.

Lenneth turned to the man, who had protected them, when they were still up on the stage. Smiling gently, she nodded, "Th-thank you, g-goodsir. Y-yes, we're fine... Thanks.. again."

The anger in his chest began to swell the more he listened to her. It was like she didn't even care about the lives of those in her command! Just bodies to her!

"Gods, is lying and deception all you're capable of?! People in the Outlands have grown so much colder..."

He shook his head and looked her up and down as he took in her threat.

"I'm not the kid you were shooting at before. I think you'll find I've improved much since then. Plus, you're in a dress, and I've been around nobles long enough to tell that you're in no state to move as fast as you did."

The woman next to her have a warning as well, but all he did was give her a piercing glare.

"Unless you want to have a stay in the dungeons as well, you'd do best to stay out of this."

He turned back to Bluebird and stepped closer, his shield still up.

"I'm not going to tell you again. You've interrupted a Royal Wedding, murdered innocent civilians, and have caused a war that's taken too many lives on both sides! So kneel on the ground and put both your hands on your head or so help me, one of us is going to end up dead."

He stopped around ten feet away from her, shield still raised and ready to strike should she try anything.

Shy glanced towards the feminine voice of her companion Lokir, providing verbal backup. That was good, she gave her a simple nod, with her gaze turning sharply back to the man before her. Her eyes narrowed to vicious, gleaming slits. "How dare you! Of course I care about my men!!" she shouted at him, hand gripping around the dirk's handle hard. "I always have! More than you do, I'm sure! Everything I've ever done has been for them! I, even, set them on the path of discipline! Tactics, and the power of the mind, that Valken knows too well. I showed them those!"

"But there's little I can do for them now! I told them to hold their ground. To wait! I had a better idea. A 'solution' of sorts to help. They just could not listen to me! Also, think for once Meathead. Why would I be in this dress, attending this wedding, if I had some sort of plan to attack? Why wouldn't I have my bow? Why would I put myself in such risk and endanger the lives of my men with a foolish half-baked attack? Does any of that make sense to you? Why would I even be in front of you, when I use a bow?"

His words to Wags angered her even farther. "Don't speak to her like that," Shy hissed defensively.

He mentioned the fact that she couldn't move as quick, which was not only obvious, but correct. Her state of dress definitely held her back, but it wasn't her speed she relied on. With a smirk, she told him this, "Heh, maybe you speak the truth about it. Fighting in a dress like this is not ideal, but I don't need to outspeed you. I just need to strike true. You really ready for that chance?"

Shaking her head, she finished, stating darkly, "Perhaps, but I did not start this war. I'm merely fighting on the side that needs it. Heh, then it will be you!"

Carren was too deep lost in thought to hear Coin's futile attempts at calling out to him, disappearing into the crowd while on his way to the wedding.

...

The time for the wedding was near, Carren standing with a smile on his face near the front. He stood close to the royal family, but not quite in the same line as them. Instead, he was hidden a bit further into the back. Carren had been unsuccessful in arranging a front-row spot for the young Drake, but only because he hadn't seen the boy anywhere once arrived and couldn't quite catch their name back when he was still chatting with Xerxes. Still, that was only a minor issue. It certainly wasn't a blemish on this joyous day, where he could see his long-lost niece's most precious day come to fruition. Unlike most others, Carren couldn't care less who she had married. If a man can find a lady pretty, then why couldn't another woman? Yes, it is a bit unusual. Maybe Lenneth couldn't have heirs either. Who cares, however? She certainly didn't seem to pick out the worst of the bunch, as her wi-

Carren, stop it! You're getting lost again. The man pinched in between his eyes to make sure he stayed with the ceremony until the end. Everything was going perfectly, even the weather agreed! Nothing could ruin a day like this.

...Or, well, so he'd hoped, and thought for a good while. Alas, it wasn't meant to be. Screams erupted from the crowd, Carren instantly whipping his head towards the masses. One, two, three. People were dropping like flies with a lake of crimson red forming underneath their feet. Behind them were rough looking fellows, obviously not citizens of this lavish city. Their clothes were almost primal and some had dirt stuck to their face, wielding weapons that ranged massively in quality.

"Outlanders? But why?!"

Carren couldn't understand. He heard the voice of his friend ring out above all else, rallying his men together to form a wall around the princess.

"Lenneth? Lenneth's in danger... no, is she in danger?"

The man scanned the area. The Outlanders were a small bunch, already being taken care of. He spotted the red-haired boy from earlier taking one out, suffering a blow right after. Before Carren had time to worry, someone else mopped up the bandit swiftly and accurately. Everywhere else was the same; The outlanders could get a few targets down, but were mopped up just as quickly.

"This is no fight... this is a slaughter! On both sides no less..."

Carren glanced up to the podium, seeing the princess and her wife taking to arms as well.

"Even they shall fight?!"

The man couldn't believe it. He wanted to do something; anything as well. He was certain there was a guard screaming at him to evacuate, but he didn't move. He had completely frozen up in the chaos. It was a miracle he hadn't died himself, although he was well hidden behind a slew of soldiers.

Should Carren fight along in this? Is it the right thing to do? Or should he just... run? Save his own hide? Truthfully, he didn't like the sound of either. The latter would have him abandon his own family and fellow countrymen, but the former... He didn't want anyone to die! Surely the soldiers would slaughter the invaders without remorse... but why couldn't they just capture and restrain them? Why did they need to result to stooping down to that level as well?

Carren stumbled back in a daze, avoiding an arrow soaring past him by complete accident. He looked in the direction it was fired from, seeing an archer already locked in combat with another soldier.

This was wrong. This was so, very, wrong.

Captain Xerxes - 'The Bear'

Xerxes listened to her with a scowl, but most of her words were already lost to him. He didn't care for the reason she came here or why these Outlanders were attacking; all he cared about was if she was going to answer for the lives she had stolen. He had to give her a chance to come willingly, to see that if she realized that if she just turned herself in, then the end of the war speeds up, and lives are spared. But no; she just kept trying to talk her way out of it. Of course there were reasons she was dressed like that; perhaps she needed a disguise in order to get close enough to the Royals, or maybe she was hoping to use the confusion of the Outlanders to silence someone. But Xerxes did not voice these, for arguing with her got them nowhere. Action was neccesary.

He sighed quietly as he looked down to the ground and spoke softly to himself.

"I'm sorry, Zeke. I tried. Please forgive me."

He looked up at her once more, no longer with fire in his eyes, but...with an odd sadness.

"Egret Bluebird. You have committed a multitude of crimes against Valken and her people, and for these heinous deeds, I sentence you to death. Prepare yourself."

With a speed much faster than when he first faced her, he charged at her, and began swinging his sword horizontally. Unlike their first encounter, where his blows relied solely on power, his strikes were a balance of speed, power, and accuracy. She would need intense reflexes to dodge his improved blows now, or the assistance of another.

Shy found herself stricken with clear disdain, for when this man used her real name. Did he not understand Outlander custom? Did he have no respect at all? "My name's Shy," she hissed. How'd this lowly grunt of Valken even know her full name? He did speak the truth, though. She certainly committed countless crimes against the Valken nation. That much was true. It was hard to be an Outlander General, that took a lot of matters into her own hands, and not commit any 'Valken crimes'. Whatever. She was proud of helping her people.

He continued his tirade, ending with a sentence for her death. She doubted he had that type of call, but she was already wanted Dead or Alive. So, made sense. He probably just wanted to pretend to be important. He began swiping at her, and she found herself, having to dodge awkwardly in that dress. Some of it was even sliced through, shredding some of the beautiful whiteish-blue fabric. That meant his slashes were quite close.

"I'm not here to harm the princess, or anyone!" she growled out, feeling his sword cut across her arm, instantly splashing some red along her beautiful outfit, coating it with a disturbing swathe of red. Wincing in pain, she withdrew her Dirk. She had to defend herself, even if she was not here to harm Valken personnel. He brought it upon himself. Then her eyes widened, and a man she recognized rose up behind him. An Outlander was taking advantage of the fact that this Valken unit had his back turned.

Frowning, Shy dove forward, sliding under this man's outstretched weapon, feeling the hot steel, now splashed with her blood, fly just above her nose, cutting a few strands of her cerulean hair. She brought herself up, deflected the Outlander's attack, which made him eye her in great surprise, before she hit him a few times, bringing the Outlander man down. She didn't kill him. There was no way she could do that, but he collapsed unconscious. In effect, she had protected the Valken man who was attacking her, from a near sure-hit of an Outlander, who was trying to take advantage of the current situation.

Her Dirk dropped from her hand, and she held up her hands. "F-fine. I'll give in. Just t-take me to Princess Lenneth. She'll know what to do."

Jackson, with the confirmation of Lenneth, moved back to defending, or rather fighting with her and Hayate. Still, how was she going to fight in that dress without a visible weapon? His answer to that came in the shape of a chakram as it knocked out an outlander. ~Huh ok, I under estimated her, still I don't see anyone around besides myself and Hayate to help her; I better stay near.~ Jackson, with his killing edge out, decided to simply stay with her. "My lady, we must flee from here; I'll cover you. Unless of course you still want to fight, I'll help you then as well." He glanced at his blade for a moment as he was reminded that it had turned blue when he killed that outlander. He had gained a name for himself while traveling as the Blue Reaper; anyone who was killed by his blue blade had their soul consumed. At least that was the rumor he had heard; he wondered if anyone recognized him from that little display?"

The girl seemed happy about Bishop's words. It was the right thing to do after all. The girl then held out an Elixir, saying that it could heal the most gruesome of wounds. The boy hesitated as he reached for the Elixir, but he pulled his hand back. "You should use that on someone more important, I'm fine," He told her. Surely there was a noble or a better fighter out here that required so some healing. Even with his wounds healed Bishop couldn't do that much against the remaining skilled fighters.

Bishop's eyes went back to checking on Xerxes, and it seemed that he got the upper hand on the woman. She held her hands up in surrender, "hold on..." Bishop said before making his way over to the captain. "Captain Xerxes, what's going on here?" he asked his Captain. His green eyes going from the woman to Xerxes.

Roland

"And here I am" Roland said as he appeared in one of the hallways. He was currently looking where the closest thing to a treasury was. He wondered the hallways avoiding all panic, and discord of the people, and the guards. Passing by he might of grabbed a expensive vase or two carefully putting it inside his bag. Traveling further into the discord, many people might of dropped their valuables so those cannot be wasted.

He heard some clangs, and shrugged as he nearby room. Swiftly he got out a lock pick, and started to undo the door. "Just a little bit more" He said as he twisted the pick. When he tried to unlock it it broke. "Darn" Getting out another lock pick, and trying to unlock it again. After a few attempts he unlocked it, and started to pillage the least most valuable things. Why? He didn't want to get sold out, by a few people who got caught with the most valuable things inside the castle. Either way he closed the door halfway, and started to pick a tome.

Captain Xerxes - 'The Bear'

images-24.jpg

Inwardly, Xerxes was smiling as he watched her struggle against his attacks. Perhaps he was just enjoying seeing her struggle, or have her experience what he experienced. When one of his blows connected and covered her sleeve in a shade of crimson, a surge of excitement ran through his body. He had her on the ropes; which was why he was so surprised when she dived under him and, instead of taking advantage of his surprise, attacked one of her men that had snuck up behind him. His brow arched in confusion; and then she dropped her dirk and surrendered. Xerxes wasn't expecting that at all, and he had to blink a couple times to be sure this was happening. With a glare, he sheathed his sword into his shield and walked over to her, turning her around roughly and pulling out some rope from his pouch and tying her hands together tightly. He looked up when someone called out to him, and saw that Drake was approaching. He questioned him about who this was, and he answered him without the glare leaving his face.

"This is Egret Bluebird. An Outlander General. Go and bring Princess Lenneth here. Now."

He dismissed his soldier, and forced Bluebird down onto her knees before he walked back in front of her, moving the unconscious body of the Outlander who attacked him and he kneeled in front of her. He looked back to the unconscious Outlander, which was being moved away by two Soldiers, then to her, still glaring.

"Why?"

Skadi

Skadi was a very patient person. Or at least that was what she thought herself and in reality the only way to get her to sit still was to tell her she couldn't. So when she saw Shy pushed back she lost all sense of decorum. She tossed her hat aside and let out a low resonating growl as her beast stone activated and she transformed into a massive emerald wolf. Around her guards screamed and charged her but with a howl she was on them first crushing the wind out of one with a sweep of the tail and pinning another under her claws. Then a quick flick and f her eyes she saw the captain and answered him in the low distorted tones of the beast skin "because if you don't I will shower the blood of these two fools over the square."

Expedient Blocking: If Lenneth's speed is higher than her opponent's, then her shields gain weapon advantage.

@theunderwolf @Clockwork Syringe

Lenneth, still holding two chakram, one in each hand, looked over at the man. His words were unnecessary, but she appreciated his dedication to his duty. It was hard for the woman to say much of anything against anything he had to say. Even, when she disregarded most of it. She was capable of defending herself, or at least she thought so. His actions were just so sweet, and sincere, she couldn't deny him. She just simply couldn't.

Whatever the man was wondering about, Lenneth would not recognize. The fair-skinned woman had only just arrived back in the kingdom a few days ago, and had been wrapped up in getting reacquainted with princess-life. Not to mention having a majority of her time preoccupied with her beloved. If there had been any rumors she could've picked up on, she most certainly didn't, and she definitely did not recognize him from before then. "Ah.. the party..." she breathed out, knowing he wanted to escort her safely away. Just as Hayate wanted to shield her, protect her, and bypass a lot of the natural proceedings. Possibly, because she didn't know Valken customs. Her eyes drifted over to the woman she loved, with a small frown of worry displayed upon her face. Then, she heard someone speaking. A mighty, firm voice of a woman. Who she recognized as her eldest sister: Freya.

Freya Valkyrie

M1jO2wB.jpg

"Enough!" she shouted across the entirety of the courtyard, standing atop the stage, so all may see her. Like usual, Freya commanded her presence to be known -no, felt. Authority proceeded her, and she stood atop there, glittering with poise and confidence. It was just like Freya, to make a grand entrance, and exude her strength, like a blanket of fog over everyone.

She stepped forward, "It seems the Outlander insurgents have been quelled. With, just their lone leader left." With that, her strong words, spoken to all still around, she stepped right off the tall stage, and landed firmly in the courtyard. Walking forward, eyes left her, and moved to the front of the place. Many dead people lied there. Valken and Outlanders alike. Though, more Outlanders to be sure. A good number, that should not have been killed that day, if they wanted to use any sort of advantage they had to win the war. Dwindling numbers was not advisable.

She walked forward, meeting a man, half way into the field. He seemed confused, and shocked to hear her announcement. Glancing behind him, he saw nothing but Valken units surrounding him, cutting off his escape. He was the band's leader, after Shy and Wags. "What do you have to say for yourself? Is this how Outlanders act? Do you all know no decorum? Have you no dignity? Attacking us in such a horrific way? During a wedding? This was to be a pristine occasion! A wondrous, remarkable event! Yet, you inbreds see it as a time to kill us? Kill the brides? Those pure, beautiful women, who were joining their hearts? You have the gall to bring your weapons here. Bring your war here. Bring death here? Insolence."

Her hand clasped her lance, gripping it tight. "Punishable by death, have you anything to say for yourself?" she repeated, coming to a halt, staring down her Outlander opponent.

He roared angrily, "All Valken are worthless scum! Look at this place? This 'wedding' is nothing but squalor! It proves what we say! Our words! Yet you don't listen to them! Fine, then. Listen to my steel, you bitch!" He rushed forward, lifting up his ax. He swung, expecting to connect a hit.

Freya easily sidestepped his attack. Her single step had made it look effortless. Her ranged, lanky weapon was normally outmatched by a hefty, strong weapon like an ax, yet he missed. He might as well have had a butter knife. Even her opponent looked shocked. "I will punish you, then, hopefully, we may return to enjoying our day." She held her lance to her, then lifted it up to the sky. It seemed to gleam, and she darted forward in a surprising gust of speed. The tip of her weapon sunk straight into his chest, and penetrated out through the back of the poor Outlander. With a gurgle, and a cough, the light left his eyes. He fell, once she withdrew her bloodied lance.

Servants, guards, other various people rushed over, while she immediately began wiping down her weapon. Freya turned her attention back to her fellow Valken. "Well! It seems this is finished. Those Outlanders thought they could interrupt us, and befoul this day, but they shall not! We are Valken! Nothing brings down our traditions, our way of life, our dreams, and hopes! Valken stands tall, proud, and beautiful! No matter the small issues that arise! Our enemies are impatient, but I am not. I will not allow this weak-willed skirmish to carve a blemish into this day! My dear sister Lenneth, and our soon to be-new beautiful sister Hayate, deserve far far better! Do you all not agree?!"

Cheers began, rising as more people pulled themselves out of hiding. It seemed her speech had aroused Valken loyalty.

"In the face of this evil, we will spit! I say, continue the wedding! The festivities! Allow us to celebrate, our victory, and our fallen men! Not diminish their efforts with self-pity, and sadness! They, those incredible men and women who gave their lives today, they would want us to continue! They would want to see us give in! They would not want this day to be ruined! Let us finish what we started here today, and greet our new sister, after she weds princess Lenneth! Then, and only then, will we continue our march out on those lawless beasts. After perhaps a day.. or two... Hehe." She winked, teasing how long the party would probably last. Valken parties could last days.

With that, many people were around once again, all screaming in unison, clearly impressed with what Freya had to say. They were all sort disappointed, earlier, when they noticed neither the Queen nor the King showed. The King, who hadn't made a public appearance in years, was expected to at one of his daughter's wedding. Still, he did not show. That disappointment, well it was gone. The people remembered why they remained strong. Freya. She was their new Queen.

She turned to address some units she had called over. Ordering them like she would anyone else, Freya said, "You all, I apologize. I wished to let everyone enjoy today, but it seems our neighbors would not allow that. Please, travel the perimeter. Survey our surroundings, keep us safe. Post more defenses around all points. You know where. Increase the patrols, and make sure everyone is armed, and knows to attack any Outlanders that try to get near -on sight. No mercy. Go."

Vava was floating nearby. She had barely moved much during the entire thing, seemingly unfazed by it all, pert, cute nose plastered down into a book. However, she was just beyond her eldest sister, and she overheard Freya's words. With a curious glance, the small girl looked up.

Blinking, with her mouth parting in just a small little muse of air, she wondered something. To anyone, Freya's orders sounded, well -sound. To her, they sounded like they were making up for something. Vava, not a tactical genius by any means, figured that those orders would have been given out earlier in the day. Certainly, Freya would not have forgotten to give out such useful, defensive commands. Especially, today of all days...

Her small mouth closed, and she stared. What did this mean? Had Freya anticipated an attack? Had.. she wanted it? Vava, gently blinking, turned her head, her body floating gently, in the same direction, her attention cast over towards Lenneth.

Outlander Style: Keenly, and reflexively swap weapons when attacked. Shy is never unaware. Allows instant weapon switch depending on range of attacker.

Shy watched the confused man walk over to her, and bind her hands. Another, raced over. A younger, redheaded boy. He clearly had no idea what was going on here. Even the man's explanation would probably somewhat go over his head.

He forced her down to her knees (wasn't she already short enough?). She glared up at him, thinking, 'how dare he'. Still, she made no indication, besides a glare, that his actions weren't permissible. Even, when Skadi instantly retaliated, angrily shapeshifting, clearly very much disturbed by his treatment of her. She did, however, correct the man, "Gr. My name's Shy."

Shy sighed. "Wags, settle down. It's fine. Lenneth will deal with this. Just have patience." And faith.

She glanced over, hearing the announcement that all of the Outlanders had been squashed. Except, for their leader. Her eyes found him. A man named 'Rougher'. Or that was his Outlander-christened name. Coming from the fact that he always tended to act rougher than everyone. His idea of justice often clashed with Shy. Or, at least this new Shy. They got along rather well before. Before her three-year hiatus. No wonder they had attacked. It was just like the man to allow his anger, and emotions dictate his self. He was the last alive, though? That made Shy feel insanely sad. At least, one Outlander would live today. The one she watched, being dragged away. Alive, but spending the rest of his life in a Valken prison. What a life. She had done that to him, and it felt terrible in her core.

Her eyes focused back on Rougher. A very strong Warrior that she had placed in command after herself, and Wags. She did trust him, but clearly she had trusted him too much. He had blatantly gone against her orders, and gotten everyone under their command in that smallish band killed. The cerulean haired woman watched as the eldest Princess of Valken ran him through with her spear. More than most, Shy was surprised at the efficacy of the woman's strike, and dodge. Shy had known the children of Valkyrie were all quite skilled; very strong warriors. That was unexpected, though. How much stronger had they gotten in these three years?

Shy watched sadly, as her friend (of sorts) Rougher, fell. Now, more than ever, she needed to rely on Lenneth's help. She hoped the Valken princess could provide any. Even some.

Daddy's Little Girl: Has a chance, to receive, rare item drops after defeating an enemy. (Lck%)

Coin watched as the redheaded boy left her. He had been quick to dismiss her words, and her aid, denying the use of her Elixir. Ugh! How rude! "Hey, wait!" she called, when he rushed over to another man... who was engaged with a woman?

She gathered up a few things, then raced after the boy. "You owe me your life, remember!" she shouted to 'Red'.

As she drew near, she observed the scene before her. A small fight, leaving the woman injured on her arm. She watched the woman subdue another attacker, then forfeit. The woman was bound, and thrust down on her knees. Another lady shapeshifted. A Lokir? Remarkable! Coin's eyes glittered, watching the small little stone she carried glow, and then use its magic to transform the pretty woman into a vicious wolf. "Wow," she breathed.

Then, like everyone, she watched the scene with Princess Freya, and the Outlander leader. Coin winced when she struck true, and he fell. Ironically, he had been felled in much the same way she had saved Red from his Outlander attacker. Coin, still, shook her head. That was another body she would not be able to loot. Outlanders, she had learned, had nothing of value.

Jackson was about to further defend when all of a sudden a woman's loud voice cut through the rage of battle. Turning to look, he saw that it was none other than Queen Freya Valkyrie, Princess Lenneth's older sister. Smirking at this sudden appearance, Jackson knew that they had won, for if the Queen herself was here, then the Outlanders' defeat was assured. He kept his blade drawn until the queen relayed that there was only one Outlander left, their leader. Sheathing his killing edge, Jackson watched as she made quick work of the leader who recklessly charged her by sidestepping and eviscerating the man. With a final speech, she stressed order, unity, and festivities. With the safety of the princess all but assured, he turned to her one last time to speak. "Well my lady it seems your older sister has things under control. She hasn't changed ever since I left this city to explore the outside all those years ago; Oops! I should not have said that!" Jackson exclaimed. "Anyway, if you want some help, don't hesitate to ask in the future." Jackson then bowed and began to walk off to find a drink.
