CaptainRustbolt21

The Rusty One
CaptainRustbolt21 represents...

A crossover Roleplay of many separate universes...

Chaos Faction
Multiverse Mayhem

|——————————|

The Multiverse, a higher realm of existence where myriad ‘big bang’ events happen every millisecond, where it is inhabited by 5 non corporeal deities called the Outer Gods, and where the Omnimachine, a large device capable of manipulating entire universes, reside. Ever since the Multiverse’s creation, the five Outer Gods observed the billions of emerging universes with glee; they had always been fascinated and entertained by the architecture, skill, and general evolution of all of the intelligent life within each and every universe and have little interest in changing a universe to their expectations. In one universe, there would be a Human child who wields a device that allowing him to morph into any alien he desires. In another universe, there would be a society where Humans nearly drove Monsters to extinction before sealing them away. In yet another universe, there would be a kingdom full of horses whose government is based around friendship. The possibilities are endless... and the Outer Gods love it.

The thought of one or more inhabitants of a universe escaping their home and attempt to overthrow the Outer Gods is a laughable one; even though it’s entirely possible, the Outer Gods held every advantage and can easily pummel the trespasser and even then, only three instances of such an event actually happened. It seemed like nothing can stop them from kindly observing myriad universes and witness such uniqueness in every one... except for one. Out of the five Outer Gods, there was one that stands them out...

Vortigon

A flame monster with a unending thirst for chaos, Vortigon intends to not only make actual use of the Omnimachine, but to use it for his own amusement. The other four Outer Gods, not wanting Vortigon’s chaotic desires pollute the Multiverse, desperately fought against the rogue Outer God for control of the all-powerful Omnimachine. However, after approximately a billion years, Vortigon won his battle against the Outer Gods.

With his foot firmly placed on the neck of another Outer God, Vortigon grins malevolently as he observes his surroundings, seeing the other three dead Outer Gods. “Isn't the view beautiful? All of this, this endless void of existence, created you, me and the other three Outer Gods. And once I secure the Omnimachine, all of this will be MINE.” He said to the Outer God, his grin getting wider. The Outer God tried to sputter our something, but can’t because of Vortigon’s boot. Eventually, Vortigon decides to put the deity out of their misery by breaking its neck, leaving only Vortigon himself. “I never liked your kind...” He said before he approached the Omnimachine, the large wall-like device that is capable of manipulating entire universes within the Mutiverse. Once he approached it, it summoned a touchpad screen, showing to Vortigon a small portion of what the entire multiverse has to offer. “Oh-ho-ho-ho... so many buttons...” He said as he wiggles his fingers. “Eeeny meeny miny... all of them!” He then just places his fingers on as many universes as he can and just begins to mesh them all together. As he continues to do so, he makes a haunting evil laugh as he thinks about what chaos he will cause...

Meanwhile in one of the universes, we see the blue cyromancer Sub-Zero looming over the defeated reptilian assassin Reptile in a large battle arena filled with an blood-crazy audience. With the two is the warlord Shao Kahn sitting on a throne witnessing the end of the battle, alongside the human sorcerer Shang Tsung, the necromancer Quan Chi, and the Outworld princess Kitana. There was also the god Raiden, the grey assassin Smoke, and the human celebrity Johnny Cage. As the reptilian assassin gets up and leaves the battleground, Sub-Zero said to him “I would kill you, but that is not my purpose here.” The cyromancer then confronts the warlord, staring him in the eyes. “Your followers hold you in high esteem, warlord. They fight and die for your own amusement. My brother participated in this folly. I do so only to face his killer!” He said to the warlord, seemingly demanding to the emperor to fight the murderer of his brother. Shao Kahn initially considers the request, then he leans forward from his throne, making a light grin. “And you shall.” He simply responded. Quan Chi lifts his fist in the air, green energy cackling from his hand. Then, a burst of flames briefly appears, summoning the revenant ninja Scorpion. The revenant approached the cyromancer, with a surprised look on his face. “What is this?! You are not Sub-Zero!” He shouts to the cyromancer, where he began his fighting pose. “I am his family and clan. I fight for his honor!” Sub-Zero responds bravely, glaring at his brother’s killer. “HE HAD NO HONOR! And you will die as he did!” The revenant shouted, his voice full of rage.

Then, just before they can clash and begin Kombat, the area suddenly rumbled like a rollercoaster. Everyone, including the emperor and his audience, were caught off guard of this sudden earthquake. “What is this sorcery?!” The revenant demanded, almost falling from the earthquake. “Yeah, Raiden, the hell’s going on?” Johnny Cage asked to Raiden as he regains his balance as the earthquake seemingly begins to calm down. “I don’t know... but something is not right...” Raiden said, with serious concern in his voice. After he took a moment to gather his thoughts, he then said “We must return to Earthrealm. I sense anomalous activity in it.” Shang Tsung overheard what Raiden said and attempted to approach him. “No, you will not! You have not claim victory in Mortal Kombat!” He said to the thunder god. “This anomalous event is far more serious than the tournament, sorcerer! We will return back to Earthrealm immediately!” Raiden firmly responds to Shang Tsung. Sub-Zero then gets up and approaches Raiden. “I will come with you.” He said. “NO! You will fight! Get over here!” Scorpion screamed, as he summoned his roped kunai and attempted use it to strike Sub-Zero. However, Smoke intervenes, grabs the kunai, uses it to pull Scorpion towards him, and elbows him in the head. “We will leave, specter.” Smoke said to the revenant as he and Sub-Zero returned to Raiden and Johnny Cage as they teleport away to Earthrealm, to learn what anomalous activity is happening in it.

//Don't worry about most of the characters speaking here - the only one you really need to remember is Alice. But seeing as the DM himself made a prologue of some kind, I thought I might as well do the same. Here ya go!
Alice
  • In another universe, there was a different event going on, yet to lead to the same fate. It featured a team of just about 11 people, and approximately 3 months after a great triumph and achieving their freedom, with the massive tower known only as 'Jail' looming over everything, bigger than it has ever been. Alice, one of this group of 11 people, would be going about her usual operations among the team, until she would unfortunately be cut short this time, as something that was thought highly unlikely was soon to happen. And it all started with the following words... And a few noises from the several speakers set up around the building!

"Everyone! We have an emergency! Come to the lab - we can talk about it there!" A childlike voice sounded through the building - through speakers. Alice was startled by this voice - although she knew who it was, it still startled the heck out of her. She would drop what she was doing immediately and head to the laboratory of the building - where she would only see 8 people (including herself) present. "...Where are the other 3?" Alice asked, looking to the 'deliverer' of the message (who was Snow White), who didn't respond, only seeming worried. Another spoke up from the left, groaning. "That... is the problem." They (Kaguya) said, motioning to the left of the laboratory where three unconscious bodies in terrible condition were seen.

Alice, among others, was terrified as she recognised all 3 of them. Jack, Red Riding Hood, and Hamelin. Alice, immediately worried, went over to all 3 of them to get a closer look. Jack had given in to blood loss, possibly beyond restoration, while Red Riding Hood and Hamelin were on the edge. With Red Riding Hood out of commission for a bit, this technically made Alice the leader of the team. Everyone looked to her for what to do. She sighed.
"...For a while, I think it's best we just try to oversee them as best we can to make sure their conditions do not worsen. It is all we can do for now." She said in a somewhat stressed tone to the others.

A far smaller, yet somehow older girl spoke up (Thumbelina), to voice her concerns.
"So, what - we just do nothing about this mess? Are you nuts?!" She remarked. A chuckle from the back was heard, adjusting her glasses (Gretel). "Actually... I think it's a good idea." She said before everyone 'else' glared at her. She remained not phased and rolled her eyes. Before they could converse further, the Jail tower roared and shook, shaking the whole land - even the whole building itself. "What?! Is this more mimicry?!" Alice called out through the shaking and the panic others were having, the majority of them trying to defend the three injured bodies, while Alice tried to keep everyone in the same area, until she finally looked out the building and saw the Jail tower had dug itself into the ground even more and opened up what looked to be a gateway to somewhere.

Alice saw it and looked to Gretel.
"Gretel! What do we need to fully restore two people and restore blood and life to the third?" She shouted out. Gretel sighed, somehow remaining calm through all of this and shook her head. "Alice, I'm sure even you would know that's a gateway to another dimension. Their land, rules and everything is different from ours. Are you saying you want to-" She was cut short by a deathly serious Alice just glaring at her - she means 'tell me now, this is no time for questions'. She nodded and sighed. "Well, you'll obviously need medical supplies. Insulin should help for 'his' blood, maybe a defibrillator to get him up and alive again, and then we'll just need to nurse them all." She said as Alice noted it all down before making a mad dash for the gateway. "While I'm gone, Cinderella is in charge! I hope to come back to heal those 3 up when I have what's needed!" She called as she ran for it, making it through the portal just in time for it to then be sealed off with a convenient rock slide blocking the entrance to it.

And just like that, she was gone. Her universe had been linked to another, and where she was going she was unsure of, but the gateway she has ran into is taking her to Earth - or whatever is the closest to it in this mess. She just hoped the team can stay stable and composed - no less organised - when it is down 3 major members and the morale member. Alice closed her eyes mid-travel as she would ultimately land at her stop any second now - where her hunt for supplies would begin. Of course, she would make it there, but take a short rest to understand the situation she is in before she dares to look around for anything or even anyone at all.

"...So this is what 'Earth' is. I wonder what monsters live here..."

Sir Alonne
Location:
Besieged City-Park
Interaction: Open

The King's castle loomed far in the distance, smoke billowing \from the many factories and ironworks which formed around it. The endless cloud coming from the molten iron obscured both the sun and the sky, the endless grasp of the King ever marking the world above. Far from the castle, a massive warrior clad in an odd assembly of armor watched the Castle, knowing that at any moment, his former master would take notice of the numerous missing soldiers. And once he found out about his departure, well... they'd better be far away enough to avoid altercation. Sir Alonne was done with the King, and wanted no further interaction whatsoever.

The kingdom was dying, the ravenous curse of the undead spreading to more and more families, the King's aristocrats being driven into more of a fervor due to their master's negligence. Undead hunts growing more barbaric and costly all thanks to that damned scepter. If there was one great regret that Sir Alonne had after his dealings with the king, it was that he never tried to talk him down until the Scepter's power became too tempting. Perhaps if they'd maintained a proper dialogue, worked as old friends instead off master and servant, maybe he could've stopped the once unknown noble from going mad with power. The undead hunts would never have started, the obsession with grandeur would never have taken hold, and perhaps he could've lived the rest of his days in service to this kingdom.

A hand on his elbow interrupted the warrior's pondering, and he looked down to one of the many knights that had served under him while with the king. Many had found more loyalty to their captain than to their king, and had joined him in his exodus. This one company of Alonne Knights would leave this kingdom to be consumed by the curse, never to return. Tall as they were, not one could even come to Sir Alonne's shoulders.

He finally turned away from the Castle, gripping the sheathe of the Cursed Nagasaki that had traveled with him on the majority of his ventures. He already knew of a perfect place to recuperate once they'd escaped the King's grasp. There they could recuperate and plan on which land to venture to next. The fog and smoke which plagued the outskirts of the King's land made navigation difficult, it also disoriented the many victims of the Undead Hunts, but it would also help disguise them until they'd made it out of his territories. It just so happened that Sir Alonne understood most of the Kingdom's lands thoroughly, and was confident in his ability to navigate them even with poor visibility.

But the fog and smoke alone weren't all that the escaping Captain and his knights had to worry about.

For despite everything going well, two hours into the murky outskirts the land shook and writhed dangerously. The sound of wet trees and the wind were replaced by that of the very ground being torn asunder. It was just his luck, a quake had struck while they were in the midst of their escape. He called out to his soldiers, ordering them to stick together and head west, as far from the sounds as possible. He had faith that if they stuck to formation and skirted the quake they could use it to their advantage.

But then a second quake started which made the first one seem paltry in comparison. Almost immediately Sir Alonne could tell that the entire chunk of ground beneath him was rocketing into the air, and he had no idea when or where it would land. He couldn't make any leaps like this unsure if he'd be leaping into a massive fault or not. Inevitably, he was flung from the piece of ground, another large rock smacking into his side and dislodging his blade from his grasp as he went sailing through the quake he couldn't even see. Eventually he slammed into a hard surface, probably another large rock. He pushed himself up, just lucky to be on solid ground, immediately moving forward towards a bit of light.

Only to step out of the immense cloud of dust, fog and smoke to find himself on the roof of a building.

Sir Alonne came to a stop, the initial shock of the change of setting fading under a cacophony of sound. Behind him, the smoke and dust obscured a massive wall of solid earth which looked as if it had smashed into the side of the building. It shook dangerously, and Sir Alonne knew that staying would be hazardous. He moved to the edge of the roof, pausing as a helicopter flew past. Down below, he looked over a cityscape in turmoil, buildings crumbled in some places, smoke from fires in others, and what looked to be all out warfare in the streets below. One thing caught his eye above all else, the building across the street, protruding from one of its upper floors was the unmistakable handle of his blade. It seemed to have been freed from its sheathe during the quake.

In the distance, a skyscraper was struck by what looked to be a meteor before collapsing. Feeling the building he stood upon shake in a similar manner,Sir Alonne stepped back, adopting a certain stance before flinging himself off the building. He sailed over the street before catching himself on a shattered window's edge. his sword lodged nearby. Reaching out, he grabbed hold of the sword just as another helicopter crashed into another floor. He carefully pulled himself inside before looking down to the street below. People were running everywhere, cops were engaging with zombies in the streets, and down the street a truck came barreling around the corner. On the hood was an armored humanoid creature which stabbed a brutal looking sword into the windshield, causing the entire vehicle to spin out of control.

The cops and citizens scattered as the truck slammed into the mass of zombies, the street soon cut off by the wreckage.

Sir Alonne took it all in, sure that he'd been sucked into a vastly different realm. It was an occurrence not too uncommon, one he'd gone through in his earlier years of adventuring. But never had the realms been so vastly different. The weapons of the people in blue, the undead were different, the odd machines flying and driving around. He had no idea where his soldiers were, but he could only hopes they'd found a less hectic place after the quake.

Sir Alonne had no time to learn the workings of this realm, he's have to get down to the streets below first. Not trusting the interior of the building to be free of dangers, he began the process of climbing down the outside of the structure, finding no shortage of handholds to aid in his descent. The moment he finally reached the ground, something pinged against the back off his helmet, and he glanced back to one of the people in blue. Immediately put off by his size and appearance, the officer had taken him as another threat like the zombies and orcs. Sir Alonne turned to talk him down, but the Officer raised his gun again, prompting Alonne to dash towards him and crack him on the head with the handle of his Nagasaki.

Unwilling to spill blood until he was more caught up with the situation, Alonne took off in the opposite direction. If he could find somewhere less hectic in this city, then he'd be more able to catch his bearing. Everything was madness, various creatures attacking the locals, armed people defending themselves as best they could. Even the attacking forces were turning on each other.

Eager to get off the streets, Sir Alonne found a park in the center of the city. Fights were still breaking out within it, but at a much smaller degree than the city. He cut down several bow-wielding skeletons before finally coming to a stop before a large statue in the center of the park. Despite several corpses lying around, this was by far the most peaceful place he'd found since the quake. It was there the swordsman began pacing, thinking up how he was to approach the situation.

When Raiden, Johnny Cage, Smoke, and Sub-Zero made it back to Earthrealm, they saw what a complete mess it was; there were buildings collapsing, zombies sprinting towards city militia, and distressed civilians running in fear. “Holy shit... what the hell happened here?” Johnny simply ask in shock. “I do not know...” Raiden responds, also in shock. Then the zombies began the target the quartet, where they all immediately began to engage in Kombat. Sub-Zero and Smoke tag-teamed in fighting off the hoard using their icy and smokey powers, Johnny Cage fought against the zombies using his martial arts techniques, and Raiden use his electric god powers to subdue the zombie hoard.

Alice
  • Upon arriving through the gateway she ran head-first into, Alice had been wandering the new environment she had been practically tossed into. It was not until about 3 seconds ago where it was just about as normal as a town could get - until the buildings started collapsing and zombies started coming on in like it's free real estate. Alice looked as some of the creatures began going after her - having not fought full on zombies before, she's not sure what to do. She tried her best to stay calm where she would glance around the surroundings quickly - and she then sees the quartet fighting the zombies ( CaptainRustbolt21 CaptainRustbolt21 ). Seems she wasn't the only one getting swarmed by these creatures.

Alice, noticing all four of them were getting attacked by the zombies and trying to defend themselves, thought she would help to try and take a bit of attention off of them. So she planned to do just that. First, she had to get attention of the zombies. Then, endure all of the attacks and harm they would do to her. And lastly, wait for the quartet to either run off like little *censored*s or actually help her out in exchange. Alice sighed as she formulated the plan. Now she hopes it will work as she would slowly be cornered by zombies, yet backing up and using her blade to space her out from them.
"Intimidate. Cover. Resist Attack." She muttered, casting three different spells on herself.

The effect of Intimidate drew in all the zombies around her and the quartet directly to her. The effect of Cover shielded her from any wide-ranging attacks or several attacks at once that would hit multiple people, so if the quartet would help and attack, Alice would not be harmed by their attacks if they hit multiple targets. And with Resist Attack, Alice has reduced how much damage she is taking for a while. She now tries to endure as much damage as she can and hope to heck those four men help her out of this situation after she fished them out from that situation. She only has so much health, and so little time - especially against creatures she hasn't met. She has already suffered 3 separate hits before the quartet would be able to react to the sudden change in pace and do anything. But what 'do' they do?

The quartet were taken aback when the unknown individual decided to attract the zombies away from them and to her. Using this as an opportunity to take them all down at once, Raiden prepares a powerful electric attack, as he floats into the air, electricity coursing through his body. “Shield yourself, outsider!” Raiden warned to the mysterious individual right before he fires a blast of electricity towards the zombie hoard, electrocuting them all to death. After the threat had been taken care of, for now, Raiden floats back to the ground and approaches the individual. “Are you okay, unknown one? Are you hurt?” Raiden asked to the individual.

Alice would hear the audible warning from this man in question and prepare herself - the electrical blasts tearing through the countless zombies, while thanks to her Cover spell, Alice was safe from harm of that same lightning. She would be relieved and seem OK after the zombies passed, and then that same man floated on down to converse with her. "Me? I am fine, sir. What of you and the other three?" She asked passively, having made it out of that mess with two bites one one arm and a scratch on the other. It's only minor injuries, it seems, but she did it to protect four people she had never met and known before - in the face of creatures she'd never fought. She let out a sigh of relief now that the zombies were of course no more, she took a moment to assess the situation. Through portal, to this mess, zombies, just drew the whole pack to her and took a few hits for total strangers, and as she hoped, she got the treatment she had expected. Though - it's hard to tell her feelings when her face and tone didn't seem to lean towards anything - a neutral.

Johnny Cage makes a thumbs up while Smoke and Sub-Zero nod together, confirming that they are fine. “I am fine as well. Who are you and what realm do you hail from?” Raiden asked, curious as to how these sudden change of events happened.

Alice
  • “I am fine as well. Who are you and what realm do you hail from?” Raiden asked, curious as to how these sudden change of events happened.
Alice seemed to process the words until we got to 'what realm' and her expression shifted from a calm oddity to 'I'm sorry what'. She shrugged. "Well, the introduction part is easy, but what do you mean what 'realm'?" She asked simply, expressing her confusion. Of course, many are led to believe that from where they all come from, there is ordinarily one realm of existence where it would happen in. Alice is one of those people - and is already taken aback by this realm talk. What the heck is this man on about? She shrugged it off after a while and decided to just make do with the introductions. "...I'll get back to you on the whole 'realm' thing, but my name is Alice." She explained calmly, gripping her blade and managing a slight smile. "I'm going to assume you all felt tremors in where 'you' come from as well?"

Raiden raises his eyebrows, surprised that this ‘Alice’ never knew the concept of the realms. When Alice said that she will get him back on the realm explanation, Raiden nodded slightly, expressing respect of her decision. “It is good to meet you, Alice.” Raiden responded. “Indeed, I have felt the tremors. I do not know where they have came from.” Before he explains further, he saw the injuries on her arms. “You are wounded.” Raiden points out as he lifts his hands, now emitting a cyan, electrical glow. “Hold our your arms. I will heal them.”

Alice nodded to what Raiden said, putting her blade into the ground for now and outstretching her arms in order to be healed. She saw nothing wrong with this, really. But it seems that she is indeed not the only one to have experienced tremors. This means it was probably universal - not in just one realm of existence, but several others. If it affected hers, and Raiden has claimed it happened in his own world, then it's highly likely more beyond have experienced it as well. She just calmly processed this information in her head and let out a sigh of 'so that's how it is, is it' upon realising what could well be happening - a universe wide earthquake. This is still valuable and probably important information - and at least it takes a burden off her shoulders that she probably doesn't need to retrace her steps.

Raiden then places his glowing hands onto Alice’s injuries. Alice felt a warm euphoria as Raiden begins to heal the scratch and bite wounds on her arms. Eventually, Raiden stops, her injuries had been fixed. “Done.” Raiden said. As Raiden said that, Johnny Cage leans forward to take a closer look of the giant-ass sword Alice placed onto the ground. “JESUS CHRIST...” Johnny said under his breath.

Alice sighed as her injuries were no more - the evidence of them completely gone. She seemed to like how the feeling of this healing was, and smiled. "Thank you." She said calmly, going to pick up her sword. And in that moment...
Johnny Cage leans forward to take a closer look of the giant-ass sword Alice placed onto the ground. “JESUS CHRIST...” Johnny said under his breath.
Alice chuckled a bit as she picked it up - thankfully not whacking Johnny in the face with it, that probably would have hurt - a lot. "Oh, trust me, there's bigger." She said honestly and proudly, hosting it up in one hand like it was nothing then grabbing onto it with hand number two. It seems pretty light - but she says that there's bigger than that sword? I mean, it's highly likely - but how does it seem so light? There are too many questions and not enough answers for them.

Sub-Zero then approaches Raiden. “Lord Raiden. I understand that we must learn about these anomalous events but... What about the Mortal Kombat tournament?” Sub-Zero asked Raiden, concerned about the fate of Earthrealm. “I... am not sure yet, Sub-Zero.” Raiden responds.

Alice
  • Alice sighed, shaking her head. "So... your plans were cut off too?" She would ask before she herself realised her own 'mission' and her expression shifted to 'oh heck' in that moment alone. Well, this ought to be something. A race against time on her end, and she's spending it like this? She's not sure how to word this to her new friends, but... She just had to try and figure out 'how' to do that without coming across as harsh and/or rude. That's gonna be a challenge in itself. "...Oh..." She said after a while when remembering this problem she now seems to have.

“What about those lil’ flashy-back things of yours?” Johnny Cage asked Raiden. “Can’t they tell you that this event happened or something?” Raiden then removes his amulet...

601541
... A golden, but dented, talisman with a cracked, dragon-shaped sapphire on it. “My visions never foreseen this event happening... but even then, it appears that the future has remained unchanged...” Raiden responds.

Alice
  • Alice seemed curious, thinking aloud. "So... it wasn't foretold, but nothing has changed...? That's... weird..." She commented, putting her blade back down into the ground and putting her back onto it - resting off the blade, so it would seem. No, not the curved end of the blade, the other side of the blade. The one that 'doesn't' kill people. Alice took out what seemed to be a gun and a series of wires, sighing. It wasn't of any use to her or anyone like this, but she had it with her anyways - for some reason or another. Like - it had a purpose, probably, but at the moment, it cannot be put to use? Heck knows. "So if the future is not changed, what the heck is all this even supposed to be for...?"

“I do not know, Alice. I am just as confused as you are.” Raiden said. Even with these mysterious events happening, the destructive future remains unchanged? Armageddon will still come? After Raiden places his amulet back o to his person, they are confronted by two cybernetic machines, one red and one yellow, that are approaching Smoke and Sub-Zero. “You will come with us back to the Lin Kuei temple for assimilation.” The red robot said to the duo. “Cyrax?!” Smoke exclaimed towards the yellow robot in shock. “Sektor?” Sub-Zero said to the red robot, just as shock as his partner. “Robots??!” Johnny Cage also exclaimed, both shocked and in awe.

Alice
  • Alice also seemed mildly surprised. "...Those 'are' indeed robots." She said calmly and plainly, gripping her blade. "The heck do you mean 'assimilation'? What do you want with these two?" Alice challenged, taking up a more serious tone and not sounding too happy or polite about it - if need be, she will gladly fight and do some damage - she has at least crushed several robots before. Breaking these two can't be any harder! Though, regardless, she stared at the two incoming robots - red and yellow, and not in the mood for their possible nonsense.

“That is not your concern, child. We will take the Lin Kuei assassins without question.” Cyrax said to Alice. “I’m sorry for what they done to you, Cyrax, but we will not comply!” Smoke said to Cyrax as he prepares to engage in Kombat. Sub-Zero follows suit. “Let’s see if your circuits are cold-proof!” Sub-Zero boasted as he prepares to fight the two robots.

  • Alice sighed, backing off and not seeming impressed or amused at all. If anything, that comment kind of hurt. She feels a rush of energy course through her as her spells from before have expired, and now she is without anything to deter her or anything extra. Suppose now she watches, or she could cut in? Though, considering what she sees, maybe it is best she stays away anyhow. Robots, assassins, zombies, what start to the day is this? A dangerous start none the less, but one that will not remain boring forever.

Smoke and Sub-Zero then fought against Cyrax and Sektor. Sub-Zero uses his ice powers against Sektor, who is countering his attacks with a flame thrower, while Cyrax, equipped with a saw blade, attempts to gain the upper hand against Smoke. Johnny Cage approaches Alice and places his hand on her shoulder. “C’mon, let’s teach these metal heads a lesson!” He said to Alice with confidence.

Alice, although hesitant, nods in agreement. "Hm. Right! Wouldn't be the first robot on the body count... This should be fun." She said, pridefully holding up her sword and with a determined look of 'you're going down' meeting both robots. "Unfortunately, your business is now 'our' business." She said coldly as her yellow eyes locked with the robots, of course. Alice's intention would be to help out the mutually countered Sub Zero, who is fighting against fire and he sadly has ice. She would take a deep breath before running in with her blade towards Sektor without fear. "Rage Rush." She muttered under her breath before reaching Sektor, bashing him thrice in a row with that huge blade of hers. She looked to Sub Zero mid slashes like 'you can't do this alone - I know this is your fight, and I'm sorry for getting in the way, but now it's my turn to help you and the others in return'. The slashes individually seemed to do pretty heavy damage to Sektor - with the same amount of force put into each of the three.

Sektor, though sustained damage from Alice’s Rage Rush, survives the attack and eventually counters by kicking Alice away before teleporting below her and giving her the rising uppercut. After Alice recovered from the attack, Sub-Zero joins with her against Sektor. “Nonsense, child. Smoke and Sub-Zero are part of the Lin Kuei; they will go through the Cyber Initiative, to prevent insubordination. If you do not stand down, you will join them.” Sektor said to Alice in a attempt to sway Alice to surrender.

Alice defiantly shook her head. "Unfortunately, I think you'll find I'm not in the mood to do that." She said bluntly, putting her blade before her. The kick thankfully didn't really harm her - she'd need to take a bit more hurt than that - although the uppercut did hurt a fair bit. "Someone who starts their battles and gives up on them immediately is not fit to fight another day. That is a mistake I do not want to make." She said confidently, digging her blade into the ground. "Blood Raptor." She muttered after digging the blade in. What looked to be 'streams' of white, red and pink surged from Alice's hands along and around the blade in a swirling motion (think like a tornado) until it reached the bulk of the blade which is underground. Large circles in those same colours would light up the ground above them from below it - all around Sektor - and then explode all at once. Surges of the same colours came from the 'aftermath' of those explosions back to Alice and triggered a violent shudder in response.

(Blood Raptor's side effect generated pure blood for the B-L-O-O-D Meter.)
