Welcome to the Lore page for Chaos Element! Here you can find current events and overall information for the RP.

Participants can also (And are encouraged to) post their current lore here also. (Ex. your universe has fused with another universe that you are trying to restore to its previous state or Characters have assembled a multiversal faction to bring forth the proper order of the multiverse or embrace the Chaos the star brings)

  • The Chaos Star

Only a few have seen "The Chaos Star" the catalyst for the collision of multiverses. It is not in the space of any universe but in a higher plane. (Any character of interdimensional travel can confirm) Those who have seen it do confirm that this object behaves is like a huge star and that universes are small tiny stars caught spiraling in their orbit. Its origins are unknown but its effects are inevitable.

What are the effects of the Chaos star?

The Chaos Star slowly starts ripping through time and space from planes of existence (Like a crack becoming bigger in a concrete structure) It then takes multiple universes apart into "fragments" (Stars, Planets, and even worlds exclusive to the said universe are included) locations of that universe are found in other universes.

The Shards of Algo
Algo.PNG
The two worlds Motavia and Dezolis are important parts of the Algo solar system, keys to the role it is supposed to play. The link the planets share is what caused both of them to be affected by the effects of the Chaos Star, however the dimensional portals that link the various universes only lead to the portion of Motavia that has been caught up in current events. The people there are unaware that Dezolis has also been affected and that part of it has been linked to their world. Thus, any means of reaching the frozen region remains unknown to them.

Motavia, the desert planet
Motavia.PNG
A thousand years ago Motavia had been highly terraformed, turning it into a temperate world more hospitable for the Palman people while remaining acceptable to the native Motavians. However, now only traces of the ancient civilization’s work remains, seen in patches of land where greenery still flourishes and the ocean that still persists to this day. However every year the desert spreads more and more, making living more difficult and isolating communities from each other. Thanks to the effects of the Chaos Star, a sizable portion of the planet has been ripped away from the rest and compressed into a smaller, easier to navigate region that contains several towns and other points of interest.

Dezolis, the ice planet
Dezolis.PNG
A world forever encased in ice and snow, home to the Dezorian people as well as some scattered communities of Palmans. Immense glaciers and tall mountain ranges keep the various regions of the world isolated from each other. Much like with Motavia, a large portion of Dezolis has been pulled away and compressed to a somewhat smaller region, though the impassable mountains and thick glaciers still pose an incredible obstacle for travel. One will have to find a way past these obstructions to find out what secrets this area of Dezolis contains.

Casseroya Lake (Paldea)

A huge, watery region that comprises the northwest corner of Paldea, Casseroya Lake is a great place to check if you're looking for a few dozen Water-type Pokémon. It is filled with many high-level pokemon (around level 50 in the game).

Origin: Pokemon
Fused with: Possibly The underground from undertail? (Need to consult Icee for solid permission)

Casseroya Lake Map.png

Areas of Interest
  • There's a set of ruins near the bridge that leads back southeast to Medali. The Pokémon surrounding the ruins aren't found elsewhere on the route. There's a second set of ruins in the far northwest of the area, as well, near the exit to the Socarrat Trail.
  • Casseroya Lake has three watchtowers. The first is located on a hill between the two western bridges from the Western Provinces. The second is on higher ground in the southeast of the region. The third is on the upper cliffs in the northeast of the lake.
  • There are several islands in roughly the middle of Casseroya Lake that are covered in items. They're also the staging ground for The Search for the False Dragon Titan, the highest-level Titan outside Area Zero.
  • There's a higher-altitude section of paths in the northeast of Casseroya Lake. To reach them you either need to walk through Glaseado Mountain or the Socarrat Trail, glide along the cliffs in the northeast of West Province (Area Three), or climb any of the steep cliffs.

Casseroya Lake Pokémon
  • Altaria - Rocky cliffs
  • Avalugg - In the lake
  • Azumarill - Near sources of water (Terastallized)

Newgrounds City

  • Fandom: Friday Night Funkin
  • [currently not fused with another verse]
images.jpeg-1.jpg

Newgrounds is the main city in which Boyfriend, Girlfriend and most of the wacky people they end up battling live. It's a pretty modern city, having pretty much the same tech level and similar layout to a modern day Philly. It is a place where your musical image makes up pretty much the entirety of what the world thinks of you. Expect to run into trouble, even if you're a top rap battler though, for there's always those people who want to outmatch you or even worse, just kill you outright.

Areas Of Interest

download.jpeg-1.jpg

Subway Station

The place where travel in and out of Newgrounds takes place. It's a common hub for random rap battle challenges as a lot of people tend to crowd the station and are almost always looking for something to do while they wait on their trains to arrive. However, rap battles at the stations are hardly half the troible that you're looking at if you decide to take a train nowadays. Thanks to the events of the Chaos Star, it's now entirely unclear as to where any of the trains go nowadays. Getting on a train could easily just land you in a completely different universe, and not just to neighboring cities like Neo or Soft like the trains once took people to. As such, it is highly ill advised for residnts to be travelling, though every now and again, some risk taker decides to anyway. The trains are mostly on an automated schedule so it's not like much is going to stop them...

images.jpeg-2.jpg

Hex's Basketball Court

One of Whitty's both favorite and annoying places to be. The park in Newgrounds has a rather large area for playing basketball where it's not uncommon to run into a basketball themed robot named Hex. Chances are, if you run into Hex, you're going to be asked to rap battle or play basketball. And regardless of what one you choose to do, you're likely to spend your day and night with the energetic robot. He means well, but he really just needs a late night time slot. If you're unlucky, or lucky that is, you can sometimes hang here and shoot some hoops yourself or just chill in the spectating area for awhile. The place never closes so people are free to hang out at any hour.

images.jpeg.jpg

Newgrounds Outskirts

Venture just outside the city and you'll get a glimpse of the war that surrounds it. Broken, desert wasteland surrounds much of the city despite the city itself being completely oblivious to the fighting. The Tankmen, also known as Newgrounds' main milllitary [and police, for those Tankmen that were lucky to be stationed in town] live here, fighting a war that to this day is still unknown fully what entails. Rumors say that the war has some sort of multiversal basis thanks to the issues brought about by the Chaos Star. Treading here is strictly forbidden as you're likely to get confronted by one of the Tankmen, or worse, caught in some crazy war crossfires.

At Night, Newgrounds Becomes A Bit More Shady and Dangerous...

At night, it's ill advised to be found wandering Newgrounds Streets. Not only are there chances of you running into some shady figures in the back alleys, but there is always this shady demonic presence about the city that seems to be strongest at nigbt. Some townsfolk blame the demons with a strong hold on the musical venues in Newgrounds, the Dearests, for the disturbances. However, some others suspect a shady mansion up in the hills of the city has a certain lemon themed monster that's to blame. Either way, it's best to keep on your toes if you need to be in the city at night...

Located deep within the Great Crater of Paldea, Area 0 is a highly dangerous area filled with mysterious and powerful Paradox Pokemon. The Pokemon here were originally brought to the region through a Time Machine created by the late Professors Turo and Sada, however ever since the birth of the Chaos Star, the Time Machine has ceased all activity and anyone who attempts to enter the lab it is contained in will be immediately attacked by Paradise Protection Protocol. The deactivation of the Time Machine doesn't make Area 0 any less dangerous however, The effects of the Chaos Star continues to bring pokemon from the distant future and past into Area 0, and these pokemon are even more aggressive than before.

Unfortunately, this volatile area is now home to many monsters from the Undertale Universe, moved from one prison to another, the residents of the Monster Kingdom have been forced to adapt to the wild new world they have been thrown into. Four safe spaces have been set up within Area 0, each one correlating with the Landmarks found within the original Underground.

The first home of the Monster Race when they were first sealed Underground, it was long abandoned as residents moved to ‘New Home’. Having once served as a refuge from the Humans who banished them, it now serves as a refuge from the vicious creatures that plague their once peaceful territory. Home is located on the very first layer of Area Zero, just below the Zero Gate after a steep drop into the crater.

Located on the second layer of Area Zero, Snowdin’s chilly climate has turned a portion of Area 0 into an icy wonderland, the harsh change in climate deters most Paradox Pokemon from entering the area, making Snowdin a ‘deadzone’ for most threats. Snowdin, once a small village has become one of the more populated areas in the Monster Kingdom due to its security.

Business doesn't stop for no one, not even Mettaton. MMT resort is located on the third layer of Area 0, Here the sky is covered by the familiar layer of rock and glittery crystals the monsters of the underground have grown accustomed to, MMT resort serves as a beacon of entertainment for the monsters of the underground, a place to get away from the startling reality of their situation, though the trip to the resort itself is extremely dangerous, the building itself is protected by MMT’s... diligent employees.

Located in the lowest tier of Area 0, Newer Home was originally called ‘New Home’ but quickly dubbed ‘Newer Home’ by the King of Monsters after their abrupt displacement. Newer Home is the second most populated area in Area 0, though the area is highly unstable due to now being located directly on top of the CORE, which has been fused with the highly dangerous and unstable Lab Zero. Though Lab Zero’s Time Machine is defunct, its security protocols are not, and the machine has barred all entry into and out of the CORE. Though no major problems have arisen from this yet, it's only a matter of time before the system collapses on itself and a terrible disaster falls upon the Underground and possibly the rest of this patchwork universe.
