Change: An inescapable inevitability that all things are subject to. Men grow old and die; Empires rise and fall; Winter turns to spring; and even the stars shift in the sky as the gods themselves fade away and be replaced. Over and over this cycle repeats unceasingly, creating the thing we call destiny.
Once more Ragnarok has come. The time for the old gods to step down and for new ones to take their place. But this time a new variable has been brought into the mix, one that threatens to bring everything crashing to the ground. A group of mortals from an age past have returned from death. They wander this new and strange world unaware that their every action changes the world's fate. A single word spoken could give birth to a new god. A single enemy slain could give rise to a beast of destruction. Each step they take, each choice they make brings the era to a close, paving the way to a glorious new age...
Or bringing this world to its ultimate end.
