This thread is dedicated to all the NPC's that will be mentioned, shown or played by myself throughout the story of Reverse:Rebirth! I will constantly be updating this thread with new NPC's as we go along. For now, I will provide a picture and some information about said NPC. Except for The Vale NPC's which will have Character Sheet formats.

(GM NPC)

Name: Genya Iori

Nickname: Gen

Age: 25

Gender: Male

Race: Half-Breed Demon/Human

Personality: Genya is rough around the edges, almost always seen as if he were annoyed by everyone and everything. (And he particularly is. to a fault) But to his students and his comrades, he is a good person. He believes teaching someone must include struggle, if someone doesn't have the desire to become better, or to learn then they will never succeed.

Biography: Other than Genya being the current head of The Vale, there is not much to say. He's spent his whole life working as a Hunter for The Vale. When his master had decided to hang up the coat, he gifted Genya ownership, and that was around 5 years ago. As the Leader, Genya has had multiple struggles and even failures. He has failed at least 2 classes of students, either A. the students weren't willing enough to learn B. Students were injured so much they had to leave the school. Currently, Genya has only 2 students that have passed and became Hunters. There was one class that Genya had failed terribly, and wishes to never have happen again. Referred to as the "Accident". In which Genya had failed to keep a student under control during a spike in their power, and resulted in an explosion that wiped out the whole class.

Soul Combination - Genya is able to combine his soul alongside a familiars, in which will morph him into whatever familiar he combines with, and gives him a new look.

Name: Jacques the Butler (An iconic character in both the Cerberus Vale RP and now Reverse:Rebirth RP!)

Age: 29 (130)

Race: Human (Nigh Immortal)

Personality: Jacques is the best butler one could ever ask for, he's like Alfred from Batman, if Alfred knew magic at least. He is kind, curteous, respectful, wise, and sympathetic. Jacques is the true gentleman that people rarely see these days. Though he is also respectfully strict to his masters, preferring to call them out if they are doing something that seems ill-mannered quietly. Jacques also has quite a sense of humor though, so he's not all strict when the mood is light.

Biography: Jacques comes from a family of servants, always tending to a master of their choosing. They live, and they will die for that certain master. Jacques had the pleasant choice to be seperated from his family during a storm, with whatever rubble Jacques had he floated his way towards a mysterious island that was covered in forests. After arriving on the shore, Jacques passed out and was picked up by the inhabitants of this mysterious island, and gifted to the one that ruled the island, a Witch. Commonly reffered to as the Black Witch of the Forest, and notorious for being one of the most, if not THE most powerful magical being in the world to date. She saw a certain natural talent for magic within Jacques, and not only trained him in magic, but fancied being considered his first master. His servitude to the Witch lasted 15 years until the day the Witch would gift him something that she would never do for another human being ever again. Immortality, the gift of eternal youth. Jacques initially declined, believing that if he had to die one day it would be for his Witch.

4 more years would pass until the Witch struck the question up again to Jacques, with which he declined once more. Though his intentions were well, it would be the final time his first master would be able to strike him a question. Fearing the power that the Witch held, an Empire from across the ocean invaded the Island, bombarding the Island with mortar fire, the Witch decided that it was an order now to make Jacques immortal, no longer a choice of his own. Using her power, she cursed Jacques instead of gifting him immortality, while also covering him from mortar fire. The island was in ruins, flames and destruction all around. And Jacques was the only survivor. In her final harrowing words, the Witch told Jacques to wait for her, one day she would return. And so, Jacques shall wait for that day.

Jacques spent the next 100 years roaming from land to land, continent to continent after having left the ruins of the Island. Up until he found Bordova, and applied to serve for The Vale. Since his training as a butler was always tip-top shape, he was given the job. Since then, he has served dutifully every leader that has taken hold of The Vale, awaiting the day The Witch will return to him.

Powers:

Master Spellcaster - Jacques is considered to be one of the most powerful spellcasters known in Bordova, from his training with The Black Witch, he could very well be THE most powerful next to her.

Immortality - Jacques was cursed with Immortality, he cannot die by natural means and thus lives on for an eternity, though he is able to be killed by battle.

Master Butler - You think being a Butler doesn't take amazing skill and powers? Psh.

Techniques: Jacques is mastered at nearly every magical spell that even includes elemental spells. He is a true magic caster.

Weapons: NA

Extras: Jacques will not do missions, he is simply a butler. A powerful butler. He does everything and anything his masters ask.

The Vale NPC's
(Senior Hunter NPC)
(Senior Hunters are the superiors for Students of The Vale. They are Hunters that have graduated from being Students and are now Full-Fledged Hunters, taking on contracts and various missions that are considered high tier and extremely dangerous.)
Name: Leon

Nickname: Leo

Age: 20

Gender: Male

Race: Nekomata (Cat boi)

Personality:
Headstrong, hot-headed, loud, and a handful to deal with. Leon is not shy to show how he's feeling. Whether it rubs you the wrong way or not doesn't make much a difference to Leon. You might take this as unsettling, but its only when Leon is working on his inventions as a mechanic. He likes to be left alone indefinitely during those times. As any interaction will bother him and he will (lightly) lash out at the people around him to buzz off. When not working on his inventions, and in more social situations Leon could be seen as a grumpy old man at a party. This doesn't make him impossible to become friends with, though. You'll just have to deal with his annoyed groans more often in the morning. Becoming Leon's friend or at least having him hold you in high regard is rather easy. Bring him food and some drinks during his invention time. Leave it beside him while he works, he'll appreciate it and make sure to keep you in his list of people he likes. He might even make you a nifty little gadget as repayment! As complicated and grumpy as Leon seems, he is a big softie deep down and cares for those who are in need of help. But this does not mean he won't look at a situation with a realistic, if not pessimistic viewpoint. Whether it adds up or not, Leon deems it better to disregard the mathmatics and logic of a situation when its necessary, especially for the people who have helped him in the past.

Biography:
Leon is a citizen of the Mokujin Kingdom, related to Nekomata, Leon was often bullied for the way he looked, his cat ears being rather big and his cat tail whisking about as it pleased made him a common mockery. Though this didn't stop Leon from doing what he liked the most whenever he was in school, to build. Build as a machinist and to one day be the best machinist of Bordova. Magitech began to rule Bordova's way of life, and Leon believes in putting it to the test by pushing it further. As a young boy he was already creating machines that would help him in his daily-life at home. His mother and father being gone for extended periods of time helped with Leon to gain his sense of freedom. When graduating high school, Leon shut himself in and began working on his own as a machinist, having saved up his allowance all the way through high school from middle school to buy a complete Machinist's Tool Kit. From here on out, Leon was in his room creating machines, taking jobs to fix other people's machines, and improving inventions whenever he saw it fit.

His work cost him though, as one day an accidental explosion tore his right arm completely off, forcing Leon to have to work with only one arm, he decided it wouldn't ruin his plans. In his determination, Leon began to work for a proto-type on a mechanical arm for 3 years. It took him 5 months afterwards to complete the build for the proto-type, and with his newly acquired arm he went out to celebrate, only to be met with a feral demon. Leon made short work with the demon, with only minor injuries and the proto-type arm having been destroyed in the skirmish. While Genya Iori, Leader of The Vale took notice of his bravery. Calling him forth to The Vale to train him among a class of students. Leon felt something pull at him here, and took up the offer to be a Hunter. Becoming the best of his class and soon enough graduating as the only student in that specific class. Leon put himself to the test once more, creating a better version of his proto-type arm, the completed version that now is worn today.

Powers:
Leon surprisingly has no magical abilities to call his own. Instead, he is more adept with his mind than he is with anything else.

- Mechanical Genius: He is a genius in mechanics and creating things.
- Expert marksman: Trained in marksmanship
- Boxing fanatic: He likes to box, and is how he beat up his first demon. Cold hard fists baby.

Techniques: Leon is a long range fighter, taking the back seat of battle and using his gun to pick out opponents. On rare occassion will he use his mechanical arm to fight, and to deal massive explosive damage.

Weapons:
- Elysium: A custom made hand-cannon that Leon takes pride in having created. 15 round magazine packed with bullets that'll leave an oversized hole in normal human flesh, and a normal to large sized hole in a big monster.
Leon has created multiple different bullet types to accompany him with his hand-cannon.

- Mechanical Arm
Leon lost his right arm during an accident when he was a young man, now replaced with a fully functioning arm, Leon hides many secrets in this shiny bad boy. Elemental cartridges are implanted into the wrist of the arm, these cartridges when exposed to oxygen turn into home-made bombs that will detonate within 5 seconds of oxygen exposure.

(Senior Hunter NPC)​
Name: Volga

Nickname: V

Age: 17

Gender: Male

Race: Human

Personality:
Calculative, cunning, sassy and silly. Volga is much like a snake to those he considers enemies, to his friends and peers he is only more silly and sassy. Liven up the mood with some jokes, or tricks. That's how Volga lives and acts, he isn't one to be stuck on the bad too long. He moves on like he believes all others should. Perhaps he just doesn't hold some things in life to high regard, all that can really be said is, Volga has an unusual way of comforting others.

Biography:
Volga's past is difficult to examine, records show he was part of a Traveling Circus, and it oddly shows with how he acts. He knows little of his mother or even his father. Believing them to have abandoned him to the circus after his birth, when Volga was able to walk and talk, he was put to his circus training. He showed an affinity towards puppets and marrionette's, and when he figured out how to create them on his own, he would make odd puppets that even unsettled potential customers. Volga was kicked to the streets 5 years after his mastery in making puppets continued to throw out customers, and with his anger, Volga settled on being a vagabond and gain revenge for being kicked out of the only home he knew. He created puppets that held weapons inside, fully intent on attacking the circus in the dead of night. That is, until a demon did just that for him..

Though the night was full of terror, when Volga watched as the circus was being attacked, he could do nothing but stand there in fear. He did not know what to do, nor could he understand how to fight such a thing. All of his anger was now replaced with fear and grief. Running away, Volga happened towards the Estate of The Vale, and took shelter there. Genya Iori noticed the abilities the boy possessed, and wished to shift that fear and grief into control and power for the young man. He allowed Jacques to handle his training, as magic string would bring out the puppets to become more life-like and give them more humanoid movements. Within a year or two, Volga had changed completely, and was indebted to the kindness and kinship of The Vale.

Powers:
- Puppet/Marrionette control : Can control up to two puppets at a time.
- Magic String : The magic string allows Volga to give the puppets smooth movement, and more humanoid reactions.
- Increased perception : Volga's eyesight is one of a kind, especially being able to see within the dark of night clearly.

Techniques:
Volga is a mid-range to long-range fighter, his puppets do the work while he controls them.

Weapons:
Caldabog - Volga's first puppet, and the most used one. This puppet specializes in attack and speed. But has low defense. Attached with two scythes on the wrist, and stilt blades.
Valor - Volga's second puppet, second most used. This puppet specializes in specifically defense. With normal attack but low speed. Its built with steel and lacquered wood. Its able to open its body up and shield an ally from even an explosion.
Silk - Volga's final puppet, and the least used. This puppet specializes in speed particularly and traps enemies in its linked arms and legs. Allowing Caldabog or Valor to damage the opponent.

Extras: Volga likes to paint in his spare time while listening to music. Mainly classical.

Allies of The Vale
Allies of The Vale (NPC's)
(Allies of The Vale are members of Bordova's society who are partnered with The Vale, they have a specific set of work that they will attend to for both The Vale and Bordova.)

Soma Cruz
(Once a character of Cerberus Vale, now returning new and improved for Reverse:Rebirth!)

Soma Cruz, a longtime ally of The Vale and provider of Weaponry. Born as a demon and taken in by villagers from a land faraway from Bordova, Soma lived his life protecting the lives of the people who took him in. He was but a child when the Demon Gate closed over 100 years ago, from the love of his mother he was sent to Earth. His time spent in the village was mainly for protection and learning how to live much like a human. When he became at least 100 years old, he heard of Bordova becoming a land worth looking into. Once there, he was one of the few to help raise Bordova's lands to what they are now. Helped build The Inner City, The City of Rememberance, and Mokujin Kingdom. When he was finally revealed as a Demon, there was initial backlash, and he took it all because of his love for humans, and their treatment of him as he was younger. Although when Lord Joseph spoke out for supernatural kind, Soma was spared his imprisonment, and returned to society. He noticed that Bordova was only just beginning, and that it was weak and defenseless. Thus, his decision to become a Weapons Dealer and Crafter started. Building himself up from nearly nothing, Soma soon enough became the guy to go for each military that resides in Bordova and The Vale's personal armory. Soma is silly and carefree with friends, but when business is in session he get's a little more serious. He knows that the weapon speaks to its wielder, and will always provide for his customers. Especially The Vale's.

Lord Joseph
(Returning character from Cerberus Vale!)

Joseph is the current head of The Inner City, a Demon who has walked the Earth for many years after exile from Hell. Advocating for peace between the supernatural and humans, he accomplished this through showing the hardships of both sides. The process was difficult, if not nearly exhausting. Joseph finally made peace attainable through his persistence, and for Bordova's wellbeing in mind. 35 years ago, when the Un-Dying epidemic began, Joseph was on the front lines to stop the threat from causing damage to Bordova. Surrender was greeted with gladly, although he was still wary of what the surrender might have meant. He would gain a clear slap to the face upon realizing there were other Un-Dying beings out there, and they would rise up to cause attacks on Bordova. Joseph initiated the Research on the Un-Dying, and funded it personally as it went along, when a way was found out on how to combat this threat to nature, Joseph called forth all the Leaders from the different lands, and voted for an organization that would deal with threats much like this one. All were in favor, and so The Vale was born, standing strong 30 years later after its birth. Creating strong Hunters that have sought to protect Bordova from harm.


Commander Vanessa of the Iron Fortress

Don't let her smile fool you, this girl is hard as titanium and will kick your ass with just words if she really wanted to. Military is her speciality, and that's just what the Iron Fortress has. A Military like no other. To her people she is a graceful goddess that treats them well, protects them, and honors them everyday. The chilling cold is what gave birth to this hardened woman, and thus she treats the cold winds as if they were her flesh and blood. She has a son, who is eager to prove himself one day to his mother and join her Specialized Military Unit, though as of right now the boy is the ripe age of 5 and the light of her world. She will often squeeze his cheeks in happiness. To the rest of Bordova she is elegant and well-mannered, she considers The Vale a special unit fit for her own respect, which is difficult to earn.

Salazar Saleem, Sultan of the White Desert.

Sultan of the White Desert and well-known ladies man. Flirtatious, relaxed, and rather dim-witted. Salazar enjoys the view from his Tower the most, and seldom likes to travel to the other Lands, except for when The Inner City is throwing a festival. Salazar is a lover of swords as well, take him up on the offer for a duel, he'll most likely bounce up and down with glee. He advises any who wish to cross towards the Black Desert to be aware, that the Guardian named Torren shall judge them worthy to walk those lands. He has crossed those lands only once in his life, and came out alive by the skin of his teeth.

Yara Zantetsu, Lady of Mokujin Kingdom.

Lady Yara of Mokujin Kingdom is a soft, loving and kind person. She resides in her Castle more often than not, mainly because of her frail body. She was stricken with sickness many months after she became the leader of Mokujin Kingdom, it has become a test of will to give birth to an heir for the Kingdom, Lady Yara avoids the topic at all costs when meetings take place, and is afraid she will die before she can provide for her Kingdom. Her only companions are the birds she tended to as a little girl, now all grown up they stay at her side while she lays bed-side for most of her days. She hopes with all her might that her husband will stick with her till the very end.

Leader of The City of Rememberance
Nothing is known as of right now who has taken the leadership of The City of Rememberance, little to no contact ever comes from this mysterious land, and if ever there was any, it is mostly through letters. All that can be said though is that The City remains in good spirits and health.
 
Vale Informant and Advisor
(Vale Informant and Adviser)

Name: Irvine Viril

Nickname: Irvi

Age: 22

Gender: Female

Race: Human

Personality: Kindhearted and gentle, Irvi represents the warmer aspects of the flames she wields. Though, her patience can be... lost rather easily when it comes to interacting with liars and the crude. She holds the Vale, its students, and Genya in high respect, even if she no longer attends the teachings, and still pops in to visit the Vale regularly.

Biography: Born and raised in the Inner City, Irvi had a pretty average life leading up to her time in the Vale. She resided in an orphanage until the day she turned 18, often helping out with the younger kiddos. However much she hates to admit it now, she noticed... oddities about herself. Beginnings of flames coming from her hands in times of stress, never being able to stay warm... there was also that time she set the day-room couch on fire, but we need not acknowledge that.

Upon her coming of age and setting out on her own, she came upon the Vale after hearing there was place where people could become hunters, and so, seeking some sort of purpose, joined. Things went smoothly for the next 3 years-- she trained under Genya and assisted in missions, feeling rather at home with her new life.

At least... until the 'accident.'

"Horrible thing, it was. 'Still don't like thinkin' about it."

Left with horrid, ragged scars on her back, it's a miracle Irvi managed to survive- if barely. She was practically forced to drop her life at the Vale, injuries too severe to maintain such a lifestyle.

Flash forward 3 years. Irvi currently runs a street-corner flower shop, managing to make a bit of money for herself while still continuing to provide something to the Vale, to Genya. Information, and perhaps most importantly, contacts.

The Villains
The Villains.
(This roleplay will have multiple factions of villains during each part of the story. For right now, the central focus is the Un-Dying Faction.)

Un-Dying Faction
The Un-Dying seem like normal humans, although they can be revived within seconds of being killed. The way to pick out an Un-Dying is by the black soot-like energy and the crackling sizziling sound made by their revival and regeneration of their bodies. The Un-Dying are notorious for holding odd powers that could cause massive catastrophies. (More Un-Dying to come, simply posting a few now!)

The First Un-Dying
The man shrouded in mystery, the start of it all. Known to be the most powerful of their ranks, The First Un-Dying has no name to give, for he is locked away by his own choice. Having surrendered 35 years ago to Bordova's Leaders. His imprisonment is for all eternity, and as such his prison is hidden away, no one able to know where exactly he is. Though, it is speculated he is able to speak to his brothers and sisters who are connected, his people. Because of that he orders them to lay low, and not reveal who or what they truly are.

The Prophet: Zetto
The most powerful Un-Dying aside from The First, he is known to strike terror in all lower classed Un-Dying members and whenever he is around, it is said death follows. Zetto is the leader of the Heaven's Door Gang, and despite having enough manpower to do so, Zetto holds no territory as he fancies himself a vagabond alongside his Gang. They stir no trouble that cannot be covered up. Zetto's power as an Un-Dying is known as <The Sacrifice>.

<The Sacrifice>
Zetto sacrifices a limb of his own choosing, and depending on how many limbs he chooses to give up the more powerful the effects of <The Sacrifice> becomes. When sacrificing his limbs, all color in the surrounding area will cease to exist. Completely ruining the senses of the human body and leaving all to suffer mind shattering insanity from the lack of sense. Because of the area around them becoming completely void of color or life itself, the human body will begin to deteriorate at an excelerated rate. One can break the affects of <The Sacrifice> by hitting Zetto even once. As the ability of <The Sacrifice> only works if Zetto hurts himself in the process. Though one must hurry, as their senses will begin to fade away quickly depending on the limbs Zetto sacrifices.

Swordsman of Honor: Valentino
The second most powerful of the Un-Dying, and the most calm in terms of personality. That calmness though, is what makes Valentino rather uncomfortable to be around. His presence simply feels uneasy. As if he will go berserk at any moment. A tactical mastermind in battle, Valentino never stresses himself too much in a fight, always knowing just how much he should exhert on himself and never taking less. He always gauges the threat of his opponents and ensures he kills them swiftly and honorably. Playing around is not his speciality. Neither is humor. Valentino is the Leader of the Korobuko Gang, and his gang is set up in Mokujin Kingdom, again he is much like Zetto in the sense that he will not cause trouble, for they have better plans to take care of involving buying property and owning land in Mokujin Kingdom. Valentino's power of the Un-Dying is known as <God's Berserker>.

<God's Berserker>
Valentino's power is much like it says in the description, Valentino completely loses his mind in a berserker state. He will not feel pain, nor will he stop his onslaught either. His hair flares up and becomes increasingly spiky after breaking free from their corn braids. His eyes become white and pulsate madly as he fights. His katana is wrapped in a black ooze that extends the amount of range he can hack and slash with, his strength is also doubled from before and so is his speed. The black ooze from the katana can also extend the reach of Valentino's swing, allowing him to cut down even a building all the way through if he were in the Berserker State. Though do not take the black ooze lightly, as it is also a devious poison that has never been discovered, able to weaken the body so much so that it burns to even breathe. To combat this, one must be willing to take a chance to fight a Berserker. They may be able to have the power of thousands of men, but that doesn't mean they hold unlimited stamina. Valentino will only ever use this power as a last resort, and it shows with how difficult he is to fight. When Valentino tires out ,the stress and pain will return to his body after being in the Berserker State for so long.

Fists of Justice: Santiago
Santiago of the Knuckle-Duster Gang, hot-headed, loud-mouthed, profane, and a true delinquent in every way. Santiago holds no care for the world and wants to watch it burn, he causes the most trouble known possible without showcasing himself being part of the Un-Dying. From the White Deserts of Saleem, Santiago holds half of the market under his shiny steel-toed boots and loves to abuse the power that comes with taking more than 70% of all shops earnings. You even stutter in Santiago's presence and he'll curb-stomp you until you start convulsing. Santiago's power of the Un-Dying is known as <Bloody Brother>.

<Bloody Brother>
This power gives Santiago a doppleganger made out of pure black energy known to be the symbolization of the Un-Dying. This doppleganger is humanoid in appearance, but yields no facial features and is simply a black husk that stands 7 feet tall. Santiago is able to control the doppleganger by simply thinking of what he wants it to do, whether rip you apart, stab its over-sized claws into you and drag you across the floor, or slam you into the ground repeatedly until you die, the doppleganger will listen. The only way to combat this is through overloading Santiago's thought process. Make him think on too many things at once and his doppleganger will slow down considerably. Though that doesn't mean Santiago won't beat you until you're dead himself...

Assassin's of Judgement: Ezekiel and Mikuzu
Ezekiel and Mikuzu, the oddest pair of the Un-Dying ranks, these two are always seen together no matter what. You'll never see them grow at least 2 feet apart, always within each other's grasp whenever needed. Ezekiel and Mikuzu do not own a Gang like the other 3 members. Instead, they are contract killers. Hitmen, Assassin's if you will. Don't let Mikuzu's cute and soft spoken nature fool you, that child was hardened for killing. Ezekiel, being her caretaker never expected her to go down the path he walked, but since her admiration for Ezekiel outweighed Ezekiel's desire to give Mikuzu a good life, he trained her into becoming an Assassin. Ezekiel does little to no talking, but Mikuzu instead is the more talkative of the two despite her soft voice. Both of them share a similar Un-Dying power known as <Bow of Artemis and Apollo>.

<Bow of Artemis and Apollo>
Ezekiel and Mikuzu both forge a bow made out of the black energy of the Un-Dying. From this they notch back an arrow made to cause a large explosion and a crater. Ezekiel's bow is longer, which allows his shots to shoot farther but have less impact. Mikuzu's bow is shorter but made of stronger materials. Her arrow may be considerably slower but causes more impact than Ezekiel's. If combined, their bow becomes a greatbow. In which Ezekiel will hold the over-sized weapon while Mikuzu draws back an arrow twice her size. The power of this arrow is able to cause an earthquake. The way to combat Ezekiel and Mikuzu is to split them up, the both work together and fight together. If one is seperated from the other, they both will begin to get sloppy. As they care too much for the other to just fight alone.

Super-Duper Pop Idol! : Astella
Cuteness kills, and this girl loves to kill when she doesn't get her way. Astella is a pop-star among the greatest entertainment all over Bordova. The Inner City is her playground, and she'll use it to her advantage however she likes. She uses her massive amounts of money to put people into debt when they ask her for money, and then buy them to be slaves under her rule, and then force them to work for her to pay off their almost impossible to beat debt. From here, she can do anything she wants to her sad little workers without them so much as speaking a peep. This girl is dangerous, and her Un-Dying ability could be one of the most powerful if used correctly. Though a spoiled brat never really knows how to use a power that could rule so easily. This power is known as <Fantasy Land>

Astella's power is able to lock herself and others inside a world of pure fantasy where she controls what she wants in this world. Only activated through her playing an enchanted song to put you to sleep. Whereupon she will fall asleep in an area away from her opponents to infiltrate the <Fantasy Land> If she wants to create a giant hammer to crush you under, it can happen simply because she wills it to. The catch is, Astella's <Fantasy Land> can't specifically hurt you inside that world. Astella's power works from the outside of <Fantasy Land>. If she crushes you under a hammer in <Fantasy Land> Your body, which is put in a deep sleep in the real world is all but well and fine. That is until an ally awakens you, then the pain comes. And so does the breaking of bones and crushing of the body. A true force to be reckoned with, but in the hands of a child is simply used for entertainment, if she kills you in the long run, well too bad. She'll just find another toy. The way to combat this battle of imagination is by finding Astella's own body and attacking it directly. Severing her connection and breaking your friends free from the <Fantasy Land> enchantment.

The Gambler of Purgatorio: Angelo
The final of the most notorious Un-Dying faction. Angelo is the famed Gambler of Purgatorio, and his cards tell the tale of fate. Owning a Casino in The City of Rememberance, Angelo only owns it to deter anyone who might even suspect he is an Un-Dying. He never appears at the Casino either. Prefering to roam around in Mokujin Kingdom, The White Deserts, or even the Iron Fortress. Looking for easy suckers to fall for his trap. He plays fair, and plays wisely. Games are his specialty and his pass-time. He is not so much evil, instead he is simply mischevious and enjoys a good game against a good opponent. Angelo seldom likes to fight, and that is shown through his Un-Dying power, <Paradiso e inferno: gioco del destino>. Translation- <Paradise and Hell: Game of Fate>

<Paradise and Hell: Game of Fate>
A game of dice if you will. Both Angelo and his opponent will have 5 (10) sided die. There are five rounds of the game. Both Angelo and the opponent must roll their 5 die for the first turn. Whatever their total adds up to, they will keep for the first round. The second round, you take one of the die away, and then roll again (4 die (10) sided.). Cast your total, and add it up to the first rounds total. Keep going until you have no more die and have added each rounds total to your total amount. Then subtract it by 50. Whoever has the highest total wins. One cannot break the game, and nor can they leave the game. They are forced to either win or lose and face the consequences thereof. A game of fate is in order. And even Angelo respects the winnings.

Riko is a well reserved, soft spoken and enigmatic man. His personality hasn't changed much through his years of growing up. Riko is the least speaking member of The Vale's members, Riko is seen mostly trapped by his own personal thoughts and often thinks about himself more than others. As time changed. Riko has grown cold and distant to people, almost like he wanted to forget them. Riko hides his emotions very tightly, the man remains a real mystery.

Biography:
A true student of The Vale. Riko was once seen as an outstanding student of the Hunter academy. Showing time and time again what a human like him can contribute to the world of danger. Being active on missions and trained daily on his own. Before he became a true hunter of The Vale, Riko was once a farm boy outside of the inner city. Working with his very old parents on their "Zantar" family farm. Living in rags was something Riko was used to but he did not wish to grow old on a rotting farm. No matter how hard he worked, there was no escaping poverty's grasps. Riko was sick of being treated poorly by higher classes and the progress of their family business but there was nothing he can do. Till one night, (The very same night, Alister lost his orphanage) his family was infected with a rotting gruesome disease. This graphic blood boiling painful disease was caused by an unknown attacker. Riko knew that this disease was a spell and not a natural illness. He did all he could to heal his parents, even going far to send help from others which lead to no avail. Riko's parents have passed away after everything Riko had done. They have managed to hold on to life for a week and died on the last day of the week.

Riko was truly devastated, anger filled his heart and mind. He wanted to kill the attacker of his parents. He eventually found The Vale, where he personally trained himself to become a hunter while focusing on his personal goal of revenge. Through his time in the academy, Riko was slowly turning into a compassionate and caring lad. Only wanting to save others, this determination didn't die too quickly for it lasted till he graduated. Riko's time in training was off. Only the true master of the Vale can notice his personal changes. Each day he was becoming more distant and strange as he trained. Turns out, Riko was now self studying in alchemy! No one in The Vale knew about his new personal passion. Riko has been using Alchemy secretly inside the Vale for years without being noticed. Till then, Riko left The Vale without a goodbye and went on his own path to finish a secret project that he has been researching for years. No one has seen Riko since, there have been reports of him being dead but those who knew the truth he is alive. Riko's new Alchemy project was slowly rising among Bordova. Soon, Bordova received news of a powerful Alchemist unleashing a new illegal and inhumane weapon, "Death's cloud". This was Riko's very first successful Alchemy legacy. Bordova took notice of his new work in action for it has been seen in multiple scenario's inside and outside of inner city. The deadly black mist has killed both human's and supernaturals alike. The formula of the gas was unidentifiable for Riko made it himself. Now Riko works as a freelance personal doctor who owns a clinic inside the inner city but who knew that this doctor was also an Alchemist.

Personality:
Yes. This slender, young looking lady is in fact almost 60 and was once Elvis the Second. She trained Elvis the Third, who went on to train Wes Gavo, aka Elvis the Fourth.

Chinami is thus retired. She comes back here and there when the need arises, but otherwise does not like to be disturbed unless her retirement pension doesn't come in on time. Then she'll storm over to The Vale estate and break something until it's fixed. She has things to buy, and she can't do it if The Vale can't get its head out of its ass, and they ruined this place ever since they made the obstacle course safer cause now it's for freaking babies!

Yeah, she is one of the meanest people you will ever meet. She is cranky. Constantly. Age has not wrinkled her, inside or out. She was always mean, kind of crude, and very blunt. And with the tiniest temper you have ever seen. Tiny little temper. Microscopic temper. Just the sight of your face pisses her off. She does what she wants, when she wants. Nowadays that mostly just means drinking. Can anyone say 'chemical dependency?'

Honestly though, she outlived both her mentor and her greatest student, I guess that takes a toll...

And The Vale? Ah, good riddance. Bunch'a wimps. Retired just in time, she says. Back in her day, hunters in The Vale had some balls. Some guts. Now they're all a bunch of pansies. Weak in the knees and shaky in the lip. And that new kid that just became leader of the whole thing? Wimp! Pansy! She could bench press three of him on her worst day. She's been doing this since before he was born, I know she knows what I'm she's talkin' about! Disaster! Bankruptcy! A shell of its former self! Just waiting to happen! You'll see!

Not like in my day, see? In my day, The Vale had beef! Wasn't afraid of ass kicking! Gettin' down and dirty! Solving problems with a fist to the gut and the kick in the mouth! No, I'm not making a scene, you're making a scene!

Biography:
At a tender, young age, Chinami was set to be married to some rich noble in the city in order to boost her own family's meager esteem among the nobility. Chinami finally met him one sunny afternoon, in his family's palatial garden. He was older than her. Much older. But such was the way of things among the aristocracy, back in those olden days. He took her hand, called her beautiful, and offered to give her a taste of what the married life would bring.

Then she broke his wrist and two of his ribs.

Thus began the tale of Elvis the Second.
Putting you arranged fiancé in the medical ward doesn't exactly win you a whole lot of praise from aristocrats. Actually, it puts you in jail, which is where SHE ended up. You'd think that putting a young, noble born girl in prison would spell the end of her life as she knows it, but for Chinami it was the lesser of two evils. She would've rather died than get married off, and with this gig, she at least got three hots and a cot to go with her proverbial death.

She had to establish her dominance first, of course. And she did it pretty quickly. Chinami was mean. Real mean. And in her upbringing, had chosen to learn the craft of fist fighting over dumb crap like polo or shogi. She blazed a trail through that prison, and no man or women could ever topple the 4'10" tyrant. She single-handedly unbalanced the prison's cage fighting ring and any match against her was essentially rigged by her lack of mercy.

When The Vale's original Elvis heard of a so-called Tyrant of Arayagi Prison, he had to see it for himself.

After watching her fight a single match, he had decided. He had to have her a pupil. He personally paid for her freedom from his own pocket and upon buying her freedom, gave her a deal. She didn't want to be his pupil. To her, being a student would be like jumping from one prison to another. So The Elvis offered her a deal. If she could beat him in martial combat, she was free to go. If not, he'd see her first thing in the morning for her first lesson.

Chinami had never been bested. She found herself toppled for the first time, her nose bloodied and her ass on the ground. And this "Elvis" guy hadn't even broken a sweat. So she agreed.

She grew to like The Vale rather quickly. Get paid to fight? Why hadn't she known this was Vale life before? She learned quickly too, and by the time her fellows were getting their first assignments, she was already starting to help teach classes. Some with students older than herself.

The Eieno Monks had been an ancient sect of martial artists who had discovered a unique form of combat. They had learned to weave their own life energy into their attacks, enhancing an already potent fighting style. The use of life energy as another aspect, another limb, also had the effect of strengthening it. One could think of this as exercising your own life energy like a muscle, making it stronger through repeated use.

Chinami grew intensely fascinated with them, and began to develop her own style. She managed to resurrect techniques that had once been thought extinct and combine them with what she knew. And a side effect of the life energy strengthening was that Eieno monks tended to look young their entire lives. An effect Chinami would benefit from herself. (See, I said I'd explain.)

At the end of his career, the original Elvis passed his title onto her. She became Elvis the Second a few weeks before he passed. For a long time, she was The Vale's Martial Arts and Physical Prowess instructor. She drilled her students hard. Elvis the First had been harsh, but wise (and funky). Elvis the Second was just harsh. At first glance. She had her own wisdom, the kind that only came out when you thought about her in hindsight.

Lots of students washed out under her mentorship, but those that didn't ended up being some of The Vale's more accomplished hunters. One in particular, one Jako Glima from Saleem, grew not only to her satisfaction, but to rival her. Before she retired, she was sure. Jako Glima became Elvis the Third.

Several years later, when Elvis the Third died in battle, she was genuinely heart broken. She wouldn't let it show, but something wilted inside her. She covers it up. Always. Usually with disdain about Elvis the Fourth.

After few years spent vacationing, retirement got... boring. Nothing to do but drink and... and I guess drink, yeah. Nothing good to fight, all the local fight rings are too easy, and The Vale gets dibs on anything tough...
Nowadays she spends most of her time wasting time. Occasionally dropping by The Vale estate to break something or yell at someone. Maybe it's cause she misses the place.

Or maybe it's because you dunderheads need a wake up slap! This place is in shambles! It's a travesty! You call this place The Vale? I've stepped on roaches with more esteem! What is this, a day care? Why are you coddling your students? You're gonna make 'em soft! Back in my day, we had some real training! Stuff that put some meat on your bones! What is all this? Should I go get my blankie!? Is it nap time yet!?!?
