The day had been a rather nice one for a Saturday morning. The sun had shown brightly in the sky above without a single cloud in sight. This was going the very first year that the school opened up to its students as a campus and the whole 'program' was to be managed by a still pretty inexperienced principal. One could only hope that the weather was a sign for the school and its students.
"10:49am!"
Within moments of the announcement that bounced off the walls and echoed through the freshly cleaned and polished hallway of the school, a few of the extra staff had been running out the doors that lead to the campuses courtyard. The way they all moved in such a hurry made it seem as if any of them could trip and fall on their face with just one misstep. Miraculously though, the workers; quick on their feet, made it to their stations without an incident. Each of them pulled out of the courtyard with most, if not, then all of them splitting off in separate directions.

*Instruction?*
For those who want to jump in tonight, It would be smart to keep your character outside of their homes for pick-up! Also, while you are all allowed to interact freely, I will not move too far ahead with the story without other peeps here to follow the plot.
Any questions?....No? Okay cool!

Alexandra McCoy
Alex had been waiting to leave the dumpster fire she had to call a family since she first read her acceptance letter for the, "exclusive" academy of Coral Coast, CCFA. She could swear on life itself that having to just sleep another night in that loon-house would make her want to punch a wall.
Now, to be honest, Alex didn't know jackshit about the place, why they got ahold of her of all people, or even exactly where it was. But what she did know for sure is that the school was nothing cheap. Any place like it that could scout out students, find a way to mail all this to em and provide transportation just screamed wealth. The thought made her nose scrunch up and brows knit together in brief distaste, being pulled back into reality with the sound of beating hooves against flat dirt paths.
How did she know it was hooves?
Don't ask. She wouldn't know the answer either.
She picked up her head to be met by a carriage drawn by two jet black stallions, a man in the front holding onto their reins. He gave her a small smile and respectively tipped his hat off to her to which Alexandra only stared at him with a neutral expression painted on her face. She had too many questions going on in her head at one time and while she wanted to pick them apart, even just a little bit, a part of her just couldn't give a single fuck about it.
Horses...Wow....Cool

She didn't need the man's introduction either. Alex was smart enough to know that this carriage is what the letter meant. With a sigh, she pulled herself up through the side of it. The seats were surprisingly comfortable since they were also lined with pillowed cushions. God was she grateful for that! Alex couldn't imagine having to walk around a giant school for the rest of the day with a sore ass. She was already probably going to be forced into some kind of interaction too so there's an even more unpleasant situation for her.

The man driving the carriage didn't seem to mind that the girl had entered without a word or a wave. Perhaps he was used to it? With a light thrash of the reins, all stallions moved forward in perfect unison at a steady pace. Alexandra watched as her home grew farther and farther away until it was out of sight.

This moment right now officially marked the beginning of Alexandra's new life.

rushed through the busy walkways the flames of hell illuminated her figure as she rushed around the twirl (the Main Street that connected the district) she had already changed into her human form and had packed her bags but she was late, the letter she had received gave her a special note. “Magical carriages do not transport to the underworld, please take the closest transport terminal to your versinity and find this address, we will pick you up from there.”

Namira sprinted through the spiral of a street and entered a large imposing building made of glistening quartz. “Please enter your destination into the dashboard” a pleasant sounding voice boarded as Namira jumped into a booth. Quickly she tapped in the numbers written on a crinkled piece of paper 311487 254580 772062 in a flash of blinding light Namira disappeared from the booth and appeared on earth.

Around him was a lonely stretch of road surrounded by forest and greenery, the sun hung high in the sky and shone rays through the treetops. Namira looked around for a minute confused before hearing the sound of galloping, she didn’t know quite where it came from back she knew it was the sound of horses.

Namira watched as the carriage slowly turned around the on the winding dirt road. she climbed on the carriage as the horses began to gallop away in unison. Another girl already sat to one side and Namira sat opposite her. She supposed it would be good to make some friends and reached over the space she to shake her hand.
“Hi I’m Namira, who are you?”

meh.pngTHE GUT
WELCOME TO THE FIELD
RUIN AMONG THE FLOWERS OF BLOOD
~~~~~
Sounds of rusty chain screeching up filled the small space in the vast, empty field as the elevator crested up onto the peaceful section of the Gut. A golden glow illuminated the small box, and as the weathered pulley elevator came to a stop. Smeysya reached out with a fleshy appendage and lightly pushed the manual metal gate aside. The shapeless pile of flesh slinked out of the shaft to find itself surrounded by a dense fog. Her meat rose and bucked as it began to take form. It pulsated and stretched until it was the shape of a young woman. Skin began to rise from within the folds of flesh, then came clothes, hair, and eyes. Smeysya looked down at her newly shaped hands. An inhuman, gargling laugh escaped her mouth as she put her hands down and bent her neck around at a impossible degree to examine the elevator. There was no building, just a spire of black meat that spiraled up at irregular angles up into the sky. Smeysya could have taken this lift all the way to the human world, but she would end up much farther away then she wanted to. Her head tilted ninety degrees to the side and she laid eyes upon a series of rusted power lines that connected and disappeared into the fog.
sprout.jpg
A raspy cackle rung out from Smeysya's left. "Hey! Hey dude! Over here!" The voice called. Smeysya smiled and turned to the voice. Sprout was his name, and Smeysya was rather fond of him. Sprout had been laid on his side among the flowers of blood, and she rushed over to pick him up. Sprout was structured like a common bike, so he wasn't really able to move at all on his own. Smeysya lifted her friend out of the flowers and propped him up right. "Sprout! Greetings friend Sprout! Ve are go surface, yis?" Smeysya chimed to the skull headed bike as she hopped up onto it, putting a foot on the pedal and setting her hands on the charred bicep that served as Sprouts handle. "Hell yeah! Man, its so hot here, lets get a move on." The skull cackled once more, and Smeysya began to pedal her way across the flowers of blood, following the ruined remains of the powerlines. "So dude, you totally need to tell me more about this super school thing after you get back" Sprout chimed with another raspy cackle. "Ah ha! Yis yis, vill be great!" Smeysya grinned at the skull set on the handle arms of the bike. "Vill be in Amerika! Am excited, maybe zhis is breakthrough! Smeysya vill make lot of friend, and friend vill help Gut!" She chimed cheerily, pumping harder on the pedals of the bike as the excitement of it all mounted in her chest. Sprout cackles, "I hope. Things are just getting worse and worse. Meat has just been leaving me on my side in the flowers, it sucks man!" Sprout grumbled as the pair approached the elevator they needed. Smeysya hopped off sprout and wheeled him off to set against a turned over couch that had been laying in the field. "I vill be back, Sprout. Good luck vizh meat. Vill see later!" She called, waving a hand to him and running over to the rotting elevator. She stepped into the light bathed shaft and reached out with a fleshy tendril to pull the elevator gate shut. She waved her tendril at sprout one more time as the elevator bucked to life and began pulling her up to the surface.
RETURN TO THE SURFACE
WHERE NO MEAT DARE GO
WELCOME, SMEYSYA MYASO
Ding! The elevator chime rang out as the modern, air conditioned elevator reached it's destination. The automatic doors pulled open and Smeysya stepped out into the carpeted lobby. Looking around, she seemed to be in some kind of hotel. A confused looking employee stationed at the reception desk stared at the girl quizically, only speaking out as Smeysya began towards the exit of the building. "E-excuse me, miss!" She called out. Smeysya spun around, walking backwards on her heels out the sliding door. She waved goodbye to the receptionist and spoke with an excited smile upon her face. "No time, boring meat! Am go to school, bye bye!" She said as the door closed, leaving her on the sparsely populated streets of a small town. As she stared up starry eyed at the sparsely clouded sky, the sound of thundering hooves found its way into her meat. She tilted her head curiously at its direction just as a horse drawn carriage pulled up and stopped just in front of Smeysya. "Woah..." She mumbled, staring in wonder at the intricate carriage. After a good few seconds of staring, the dress clad Smeysya skipped her way joyfully up into the innards of the carriage, and the horse drawn transportation began to thunder its way down the empty streets once more.
"Hello people of horse box!" She called cheerily, throwing her arms up in the air and examining the people inside the carriage. Her arms stayed suspended in the air for a lingering moment, then she shoved them back to her side and bound her way down the aisle and slipped excitedly into the seat in front of her two seated classmates. She leaned over the back of the seat and stared at them with a wide smile. The excitable girl had a head of neat brown hair and a pair of bright blue eyes. Her face was soft and seemed to perpetually carry joy in it. The more astute personality would have noticed that the girl was not wearing any shoes, or really anything but the blue sundress she wore. "So, is zhis school?" She prodded the two excitedly, rudely butting into whatever conversation they were having. The girl had a thick Russian accent, and it seemed she spoke in broken English. "Is so cool! Ve are friends, yis? yis. Isn't school cool, friends? School... Cool... Cool... School..." She laughed at her own silly accidental rhymes, moving at her own pace through the conversation, unbothered by concepts such as "Personal space" or "Introducing herself."
🌊Marianna Morgan 🌊
Marianna groaned when she was awoken by the sound of her phone ringing. She covered her ears with a pillow trying desperately to block out the sound. When that didn't work she angrily threw her covers and answered the phone. "What do you want?"
"Is that how you answer the phone to your mother?" her mother Serena scolded her. Marianna rolled her eyes of course it had to be her mother calling her at this ungodly hour. She was probably calling to remind her that today she had to go to school. For the past week, Marianna had been staying with her aunt and uncle who lived on the surface. Being on the surface was somewhat difficult for her as she was not used to walking on two feet and when she did walk on them they stung a bit. As the days rolled on the stinging decreased but she could still feel it.
"Mom what do you want?" she asked emphasizing her words so that her mother could take the hint and actually get to the point. Marianna sat up as listened to her mother ramble about behaving, not getting into trouble, and arriving on time. Marianna ignored most of what she was saying as she knew she was going to do whatever she wanted to do. She didn't understand why her mother felt the need to call it wasn't like she was actually going to listen.
After hanging up on her mother she rolled out of bed and began to get ready. When she was finished she looked herself up and down in the mirror and flashed the image an approving smile. "Damn I look good," she said giving her image a wink.
Marianna grabbed her suitcase and went downstairs. Her aunt and uncle couldn't be happier that today was the day she was leaving. Although they loved their niece she was a handful. Marianna couldn't blame them for wanting her gone in the days she had stayed here she threw two parties, almost lit the kitchen on fire, and accidentally managed to clog the bathtub.
Marianna gave her aunt and uncle a big hug and kiss before pulling away. "Be good and please stay out of trouble," her aunt warned giving her a knowing look.
"No promises," Marianna replied and exited the house with a smile on her face.
When the carriage arrived Marianna hastily got in. There she saw three persons, one who was in a corner by herself, a girl who looked very happy and another person who had orange-reddish hair.
"Hi, nice to meet you guys I'm Marianna." Marianna greeted them before taking an empty seat.
Remember how I said that Alexandra was actually happy to leave home?
Yeah, forget about that. There were already too many people sharing the space with her and they all seemed to want to say something. First came an annoyingly and impossibly eager girl who Alex only glared at the moment the girl had dared to open her mouth. Next, came some Russian Amish girl whose accent was so thick to Alex, that could barely make out her words clearly. After spending very little effort to decode her accent, Alex decided to tune the girl out altogether just in time for another girl to enter the carriage.
Alexandra was starting to think that the academy was an all-girl school because what kind of shit was this? At this point in time, she was genuinely scared that they would get another passenger at any moment, and looking at the interior, god only knew where the hell they would sit.
"Can you all just shut the hell up?" She then snapped at the other three around her, a slight growl mixed into her very clearly irritated tone of voice. When she spoke, her eyes never left the window she sat by and she gave the fast passing view her entire visual attention.
Fang
Interactions: About everyone in the carriage.
The wolf scurried trough his backpack to see if he had missed anything that needed to be packed in before he went out to see the big world for the first time. Since he wasn’t permitted to explore out of his little comfort zone, this was sure to be a very exciting (and possibly dangerous) day. He equipped his backpack on well, his back, and snatched his coffee from a shelf in his room.
He quickly rushed downstairs, it was.. Like his first day of school again, quite literally. But this time, instead of being a few minutes away, it was in a whole other place. His thinking got interrupted by one of his moms, who rushed to hug him, making him spill a splash of his coffee on his sweater.
His other mom proceeded to also join in, finishing the group hug. And of course, Fang hugged them back, but before he could leave, it was always customary of his moms to give him something to eat, anywhere he went. So fang was given a little lunch bag. Which had ’Love you -Mom’ written in it, of course it had to.
And with that, he stepped outside, the sun being there like never before, and look! There was a carriage outside with other people waiting for him, how nice. and there are HORSES. HORSES. He gave a light wave to the man who was ‘driving’ the carriage, and stepped inside.
It was… crowded. He could totally deal with that, yeah. He’s a big boy, and big boys don’t have social anxiety. So that naturally mean he scurried behind and sat alone, he didn’t really want to alert any attention, but he was a tall fluffy talking wolf so he didn’t have an option.
He looked around politely to see who was inside, surprised to see there were no guys so far. Did he enter the wrong carriage? Was this the only-girls carriage???? Was he going to get kicked out???????
Morgan Windson Howard (The third????)
The bat was sitting alone, on his room that he calls a ‘throne’, home alone, as always. Morgan was reading the letter, confused, bewildered, demented, hell, bamboozled. Why would he even get accepted to something like this, he had no time for it! (of course he had.) However, he was intrigued. His parents hadn’t come home from their work trip in a week, and he hadn’t told them about the letter. Well, anything to be back to socializing.
He strolled around his luxurious mansion until he found the exit door (his mansion is very big okay you have to learn gymnastics to get to the bathroom) And calmly went out, waving goodbye to all of the butlers and workers in the mansion (who probably hated him to be honest, they didn’t even look at him)
On the letter, he was very clearly told that some sort of carriage would pick all students up, he liked carriages. They made him feel like a pretty princess, I mean, why be prime minister when you grow up if you can be a pretty princess in a mansion.
The thought of being taken in a carriage away from all responsibility and parents sounded like an absolute DREAM. Morgan sighed while he daydreamed of being a pretty princess. But it stopped, as he saw the carriage arrive in the distance, then proceeded to wave his hand, as if it was some kind of taxi.
He stepped in when the carriage was close enough, needing to crouch down to enter, and lightly dusting of his clothes (there was no dust on the clothes, he was just being ridiculous.) He couldn’t care less for anyone here, not even sending a wave to anyone currently inside.
“Good morning, pests.” And there it is. Without shame, Morgan pridefully sat down. Looking outside the window, haha. goodbye home.
"Wait, Jaxon!"
Jaxon turned around to see his mother, half out of breath, standing under the frame of the front door. In her hand sat a rectangular cardboard box, small enough to be carried in one hand yet a little too big to fit in her palm. She thrust the box towards Jaxon, saying, "This is for you. I trust you know what this is."
Jaxon recognized the logo on the top of the box and, with quivering hands, gripped the box and gently opened the lid as his mother explained her reasoning. "For the life of me, I can't remember the last time you were out of eyeshot from me, so I hadn't thought of getting you this until today. Please don't forget to call me regularly; it'll make me feel a lot better. Oh, but try not to slack off from your schoolwork to play with it, and if I hear you're playing with it during class, I'll never forgive you. Remember, you represent me."
"Yeah, I know, mother..."
Jaxon sighed. His mother always said that when they left the house to meet new people. As the thought dashed through his mind, he realized that for the first time since he could remember, he'd be going out on his own. For the briefest of moment, he considered asking his mother to cancel everything.
"I know what you're thinking, son. You're getting cold feet, aren't you? I can see the sweat drops forming on your brow," said Jaxon's mom. "You need to remember your mission, though. I assure you, that by the time you graduate from CCFA, your father will be the one quaking in his boots. So chin up!" Jaxon noticed that his mother's smile grew crooked as the mention of his father crossed her lips, but he said nothing of it.
"You know, Mom, I think..."
Jaxon's opinion was cut short when he heard the clopping of horse hooves closing in from the distance. "Ah, that must be your ride," said his mother. "I made sure you have everything you need in your satchel. Your acceptance letter, a small book to read on the way, and even a vial of the energizing concoction we made the other day, just in case you get sleepy on the way!"
"Alright, thanks Mom. Could you please get inside the house now? It's kind of embarrassing."
"I understand, son. I hope your trip is safe. Make sure to call me when you finish unpacking!" Jaxon's mother was about to turn around and retreat into her house when a loud meowing noise echoed from inside. Ash, Jaxon's cat, had jumped out the second-floor window in his room to see him off. "Ah, sounds like Ash wants to say goodbye as well," said Jaxon's mother. "Who knows? Maybe your summoning skills will eventually get better and you'll be able to summon him again whenever you want!"
"That sounds like a great idea." Jaxon set the box with his new smartphone on the floor and proceeded to pick up his small feline companion by his two front paws until his eyes were level with the cat's. The cat, who apparently did not seem to mind his entire lower body dangling in midair, let out a much softer "meow" as he longingly looked at his master in the eyes. "In the meantime, though, I'm leaving you in the best of hands. I'll make sure you're fed your three meals a day, okay?" Ash let out one last "meow" in approval before Jaxon set him down on the ground, making sure to pick up his box as he crouched down.
Just as his mother closed the front door behind her and Ash, Jaxon noticed a small carriage led by two jet-black stallions and a man at the reins come within eyeshot. Curious, he couldn't help but peek inside as the man ordered the horses to slow down as they neared his house. His eyes widened as he came to terms with the situation at hand. Five people (People? Unless his bespectacled eyes were deceiving him, there was literally an anthropomorphic wolf and an anthropomorphic bat sitting among three girls...) were cooped up in the back of the carriage, leaving very little (if any) space for Jaxon to potentially sit. As he peered in through the window, his eyes met with those of a short-haired, disgruntled-looking girl gazing out the window. Noticing annoyance in her eyes already, he decided it'd be a terrible idea to try and cram his way inside. Instead, he decided to take his chances and climbed onto the back end of the carriage, holding on for dear life to the scaffolding of the cabin like a bug on the windshield.
"Don't mind me!" yelled Jaxon. "I'll try my best not to fall off!"
The middle-aged male driver looked down his list of names with addresses that he had hurriedly written down in blue pen on a lined piece of paper. He had had it on a clipboard and kept it close to him and taking a brief look towards the new boy, crossing off the name Jaxon off of his paper with the same blue pen he used to write it before the man jumped down from his place in the front of the carraige. "Everyone out!! Line up in front of the carriage please and thank you!" He then continued on shouting and knocked on the outside walls of the vehicle. "Hurry it up, we're all on a schedule!"
She had given a total of zero seconds even pondering on the new passengers who she could very accurately guess where students of CCFA just like her. But she did perk up and turn her head towards the driver with a brow raised in question. When no one seemed to move, their oh-so-patient driver started to pound on the walls from the outside and continue his unnecessary yelling. She was starting to wish he'd just suddenly go mute. Alexandra had been slightly bothered by the male's sudden request especially since she could have sworn that he had just pulled up at some fucktard's house already but despite how much she wanted to protest or at least ask what the hell he wanted them all to move out for, Alex cooperated. Sliding out of her seat and pushing past anyone who was in her way, Alex was able to jump out of the carriage's entrance.
"Now, can you at least tell us your goddamn name before you start doing some weird-ass shit?" Alex in all honesty, felt as if she should have asked when he had come to get her before all of the others but figured it was part of his job to do it anyway. Clearly, by how long it's been without a formal introduction, it was not.
Izuru was in the midst of the waiting game whilst the transport to his new school refused to show up. He had contacted the school to pick him up from the location he had been training at. While his parents had wanted to see him off for his first day. Both of them had busy schedules, as per the lifestyle of mages. However Izuru was fine with this. After all, his parents could be a touch embarrassing at times. He wouldn't want them ruining his chances with any cuties that might show up. His entire reason for going to this new school was to chase tail. While that may sound brutish and perverted. In truth Izuru had always a bit of a romantic. Ever since he was young, he noticed the passion between people like his parents. In recent times he saw that same bond between his sister and her wife. Desiring that kind of connection for himself. Izuru had made his choice to get out there and find his special someone. Doing some light stretching to keep himself from nodding off. Izuru spotted a horsedrawn carriage coming his way. "Vintage" stated the mage as he greeted the driver and got in.
Now inside the carriage. Izuru was greeted by not one or two but THREE cute girls. Then he got a good look at one of them. While he openly maintained his smile. He began to reevaluate his opinion of her. This individual smelt distinctly gendered and ungendered. Deciding not to press the stranger. He chose to greet the group with a simple. "So why do I smell a bit of tension up in this horse-drawn box?" asked Izuru, after reading the room a little
The egotistical bat looked around for someone to make fun of. He was bored with nothing to do. Until, someone decided to play dead and stick on the roof, his echolocation told him. Totally.
Morgan rolled down the window he was gazing from. And looked up to until his eyes noticed who was in the roof. He lightly snorted at who was there, confused. “Hello, little bug. Ya stuck up there? Should I get a windshield to help you get down?~” He smirked smugly, waving sheepisly.
“Are you scared to come inside here? Too cramped for your little skin, little moth?” Morgan chuckled, his tone being charming and insulting. He then waved goodbye, his teasing was done, unless his bug replied. Which he wouldn’t mind happening.
He adverted his attention, to A…. Ginger(?) girl complaining to the guy managing the horses, Morgan seeked to take advantage of seemingly the girl’s temper.
“Aww, come on sweetheart, leave the poor servant alone, he doesn’t wake up every day for you to complain. You miserable bint~.” ??????????
Alexandra's gaze moved away from the driver and turned to a new voice. One she hadn't cared enough to even remember earlier and now that she saw who it belonged to, she was glad that she hadn't. Just the sight of this new stranger made her want to slap the everloving shit out of him. Why? He radidated a strong egotistical energy. She could also take a wild guess and say that he probably had a huge superiority complex.
"Fuck off you dirty ass bird." She growled at him, her arms crossing firmly over her chest as she continued, "don't call me a sweetie again or else." Her bright eyes pierced through him with untamed fierceness for a while as if challenging him to say something again before she turned her back to the male.
Interactions: I guess the people on the carriage
Anton was waiting outside of his best friend's house, carrying a backpack and a suitcase.
Waiting to be picked up, he looked from side to side at the street, waving to the neighbors who were also awake at this hour.
He saw something rounding the corner, his grip on the handle of his suitcase tightened, anticipating a bus or a car or some sorts. He heard the hooves of the horses clicking against the road, and he saw the carriage. He chuckled lightly to himself as the carriage pulled up in front of him. This would be fun.
He stepped forward slowly, pulling himself up into the carriage. He tried to find somewhere to stand or sit, feeling slightly worried he was causing too much of a problem. He held tightly to his suitcase, and made sure his backpack didn't hit anyone. He gave a small wave to the others, smiling warmly.
'This is going to be a good year.' He thought. He wasn't normally the greatest with people, but maybe he could make friends this year.
Smeysya whispered to herself. As she did, a man walked up to the seated group and addressed the conversing students. Smeysya spun round to face him and sprung to her feet. "No tension!" She chirped. "Ve are all friends! And now you are friends too. Hi friend!" She waved to him, then clasped his hand in both of her own. She shook it vigorously, then let go. "Is greeting, yis!" She smiled enthusiastically at him and slipped past him as the driver called for them all to depart. "Vow! Zhat vas school! Vas great fun!" She chimed, making her way to the front of the carriage and hopping out. "Vell, see you all next school! I vill tell sprout all about zhis school, bye bye!" With that she spun on a heel and began trotting cheerily away away from the carriage, arms swinging side to side as she sauntered away.
Being called a "bug" was an insult that just bounced off Jaxon's head, but he did appreciate the vexing smoothness in the bat's tone of voice. "No thanks! I think I'm fine here!" he called out. He wondered if the anthropomorphic bat was even listening to him, since he quickly proceeded to try to sweet-talk the disgruntled-looking girl in the same suave tone.
Unfortunately for Jaxon, the carriage driver, probably noticing the lack of space inside the cramped cabin, called for everyone to step out. Not one to go against authority, Jaxon complied and released his grip on the back of the carriage. As he was getting off, however, he failed to stick the landing and proceeded to slip and fall on his behind.
"Ow!" He winced a little as he pulled himself up, using the back wheel of the carriage as support. "Crap, I can't believe this... We haven't even gotten off the carriage and I've already soiled my favorite jacket."
It didn't take a genius to find out why everyone was called to step out of the carriage. Jaxon was more than willing to curl himself up in the storage hatch if he needed to, but the number of people that were set to get on the carriage was bound to steadily increase, and something had to be done to accommodate everyone. The only question that was eluding Jaxon to come to a proper conclusion was simple.
"How in the world could the driver fix this?"
Jaxon noticed everyone filing out of the carriage, including the redhead girl, who seemed to be wanting nothing to do with the bat. He joined his future classmates in lining up in front of the carriage driver, all the while lost in thought. He glanced towards the bat one more time, still baffled by his physiology.
"A bat-person that speaks English fluently... That's beyond fascinating. I've never heard of anyone use the word "bint" in proper context before, even."
Namira watched in amazement at what seemed like a flood, humans and animals and whatever the fuck that bat was started filing into the carriage. "So, is zhis school?" "Is so cool! Ve are friends, yis? yis. Isn't school cool, friends? School... Cool... Cool... School..." A Russian girl said in a thick accent. "Hi, nice to meet you guys I'm Marianna." A nice looking girl said as she entered. The girl that was already on the carriage ignored Namira's comment but seconds later shouted at the top of her lungs. "Can you all just shut the hell up?" As nervous wolf and an obnoxious bat entered the carriage, Namira had never seen either of these animals before and was fascinated she quickly knelt down and starred at the wolf from across the carpet as other kids began arriving, there was so little space that someone had to climb up the side of the carriage.
Namira made her way through the cramped space to the wolf who looked incredibly nervous like he had never been in a vehicle that move. To be fair Namira had only ever been on the Vellepoleganger which was a giant worms that ate you before shitting you out at your desired destination. Namira smiled at the wolf.
"Hi there, your so cute whats your name?" But there conversation was cut short before it started as the driver ordered everyone to get out of the carriage. Namira stood up once most of the people had filed out and jumped out before lining up with the crowd, she wondered if the wolf would follow suit.
Winter had just walked outside of her house when she saw the carriage stop. She was confused as to why everyone was standing outside of the carriage, rather then sitting inside of it. It also seemed that she was, once again, the shortest person in her class. She walked over to where her classmates were standing and yawned.
"It's to early for this" Winter said to no one specific. She usually slept until noon, but today she was up before her alarm went off, she was excited to go to a new school but also nervous. She was honestly scared people would make fun of her height, like the people at her old school did.
Although she loved people she couldn't help but feel a little claustrophobic. There were way too many people in this carriage. Every time she was getting used to the feeling, another person would join. She couldn't help but wonder why so many people had to stuff themselves into this one carriage. Didn't the school have enough money to buy more than one carriage? The carriage was so filled that one boy had to hang outside of it.
Marianna was debating jumping out of the carriage and then crawling her way back home. But if she did that she would have to hear from her parents about her being a quitter and never going through with anything. She mentally battled with herself but decided she would stick it out. The school can't be that much further. At least that was what she was hoping for because she felt if another person entered the carriage she would definitely jump out.
She was relieved when the driver ordered everyone out. Finally, she could breathe again. She stood outside waiting for the driver's next instruction. Marianna was waiting patiently when another girl showed up. Marianna had never seen someone who looked like her before and she thought the girl was adorable. She was just so small especially compare to Marianna's 5 ft 6 frame.
Marianna overheard what the girl said and nodded in agreement "Definitely way too early, I'm only fully functional after 12 noon." Marianna wasn't used to having all these activities so early in the morning. Normally she slept in as late as she wanted to especially since her parents were barely home so there was no one to nag her into waking up.
"I'm Marianna by the way."
The bat chuckled at the girl’s explosive response as he began to walk out, yeah ok, people do get very irritated at him, but that girl was mad, and Morgan enjoyed exploiting angry people for his entertainment, because of course he did.
Smirking, like the stupid devil he is, he decided to bother Alex a bit more (He’s already outside lined up just in case)
“Aww, seems like the small Cardinal is angry, do you want some crackers, red?” Morgan mocked the bird insult, and Alex’s red hair, then swooshing his fabulous hair to the left, he looked the same as before, he’s just a prick.
“Say, Cardinal, how about you tell me your actual name, bird brain~” You’re allowed to punch him. Don’t worry (ACTUALLY PLEASE DON’T PUNCH HIM)
He laid his back on those weird bicycle things outside someone‘s house, close enough to still be in the line the driver told them to do.
Morgan decided to check back on his little moth (He’s already nicknaming everyone so sorry), seeing that he had fell on the ground. Smiling smugly.
“Forgot to use your wings, little moth?”
Morgan continued to be a charismaniac. Silently chuckling at his own insults.
The wolf flinched, not expecting to be talked to at this moment, as he was too busy seeing what was happening around him, scared and confused this were going to be his classmates.
mostly scared.
He went back to the stranger talking to him, unfocused. Fang was asked for his name, I mean, yeah, ok, you usually start talks with that, but Fang almost never talked with anyone that wasn’t his moms, the friends of his moms, and children of said friends.
“Um, call me Fang, Nice to meet you?…” Talking about his name, he either forgot his real name, or Fang was his actual name, which is most unlikely.
He saw about everyone leave, and decided to do the same, since he generally wasn’t paying attention to like, anyone. He decided to search for the stranger who asked him his name in the line, and very awkwardly stood next to her, not really knowing how to continue the conversation.
“So… Uh- What’s your name?
Did I say it right?Fang smiled, nervously.
Jaxon's heart jumped a little when the bat realized Jaxon was still looking at him. “Forgot to use your wings, little moth?” he asked, a smug smile creeping up his vespertilian face.
"Trust me, if I had any wings, I'd totally use them," chuckled Jaxon. He couldn't help but swallow some saliva before turning his gaze over to the rest of the students in the line-up.
His eyes glossed over everyone else on the line-up. The bat aside, four other students were standing patiently next to him, including a vertically-challenged girl with cat ears that had just slipped into the line-up while he wasn't looking. "I wonder if she's a student here too..." he thought. "Judging by the cat ears on her head, I think it's safe to assume that."
There was something about the current situation that felt "off" to Jaxon, though. The near-photographic memory skill he'd developed was practically screaming at him that there was a discrepancy between what he was seeing and what he remembered when he peeked into the carriage just a few moments earlier. Before he could spend too much time asking himself about what the matter was, he got his answer. Off the corner of his eye, he spotted a young woman (or rather, a figure somewhat resembling a young woman) trotting away cheerfully.
"She looks so happy... Does she even know where she's going, though?" Jaxon thought to himself. Against his better judgement, he reached out in the young woman's direction and called out for her. "Excuse me, miss! Where are you going? We're supposed to line up here, in front of the carriage."
Winter chuckled a little bit when the girl next to her said she wasn't fully functional until noon, "I totally agree, even after that I still need coffee." She reflected on what her morning had been like so far, it took 5 alarms and her dad banging on her door to get her awake that morning.
Winter was snapped out of her thoughts when the girl next to her introduced herself,
"That's a pretty name, I'm Winter" She noticed a blue haired boy staring at her with a weird look, she rolled her eyes and turned her attention back to Marianna. "I think i'm going to be the shortest person in our class." Winter said as she looked around at all of the other teenagers.
Izuru
Izuru was confused by the scent of the girl with the Russian accent. At least he THOUGHT it was Russian, from what little he spoke. Picking up an extra language or two was helpful since magic didn't come in a single uniform dialect. Of course there was also issues with things he couldn't use Triolingo on. Some words are lost after a generation or six. Though her accent wasn't what was so strange. Having grown up with beasts since childhood. He could pick up certain things on the old sniffer. She smelt of meat, not quite flesh like most girls did. Although he didn't say that out loud for fear of being gawked at. Izuru needed something to ease up his train of thought. So he looked around for some cuties to flirt with. Having been in rather controlled environments on account of being an heir. Now was the time to try his hand at seeing how far being himself would get him.
Scanning around for potential marks. His eyes fell upon a pair of beauties that seemed interesting enough. Though getting their attention beyond a passing nod was the first challenge. Pick up lines were stupid and flexing any sort of power was arrogant. So he decided to opt for humor instead. Scratching his chin in deep thought. He eventually came up with his conversation starter. Triggering his link to the Five Sacred Beasts. Izuru called for the Black Tortoise. Emerging from a nearby stream was a small black turtle. It crawled over to Izuru before greatly expanding its mass, matching the carriage in size. Patting the reptile on her face and greeting Bubu the snake. Izuru hopped atop Genbu's back and had her walk over to the two girls.
"
Hey ladies, room for two in your little chat?~" said Izuru as he gave a sheepish wink whilst Bubu the snake wiggled about...
Marianna Morgan
"Your name is way prettier, Marianna is kind of common where I'm from," Marianna said with a shrug. If she was being completely honest Marianna hated her name, she liked being new unique it was hard to be unique when about half the people you knew shared the same name as you. She wished she has a name like Winter it was unique and it was the first time she was actually meeting someone with the name.
"Yeah maybe, so far you're the shortest person I've met, but it kind of suits you." Winter was the shortest person Marianna knew in her whole life. Most merfolk were tall, the average height for a teenager back at home was 5 ft 4. Her height, her name, and her cat ears made her more interesting to Marianna, she had never met someone like her in her entire life. Granted that was to be expected since she spent most of her life underwater and this would be the first time she was spending significant time on the surface.
Hey ladies, room for two in your little chat?
Marianna turned her head in the direction of the voice to see a boy with dark brown hair and golden eyes riding on a giant turtle. Marianna was amazed she had never seen a giant turtle in her entire life.
"Can I pet it?" she asked excitedly her entire attention now on the turtle.
Winter nodded her head in agreement when Marianna said that her height suited her. "I do wish I was a little bit taller though" She was happy that Marianna hadn't made fun of her, she was about to say something else when she heard a voice say, hey ladies, room for two in your little chat?
Winter turned towards the voice, and looked up. She didn't know what she was expecting, but a boy riding on a giant turtle was not it. She probably looked like an ant next to this thing. She looked up at the boy, clearly amazed as to how he even got on top of it in the first place. "How'd you even get up there?" She asked and tilted her head to the side.
She knew that she would have extreme difficulty trying to get on the giant turtle, but she was fascinated by it, and when Marianna asked if she could pet it Winter asked,
"Yeah, can we pet it?"
